Hi everybody. Seven years ago, the American auto industry was on the brink of collapse. Plants were closing. Hundreds of thousands of workers were getting laid off from jobs that had been their ticket to a middle-class life. And as the pain spread across the country, another one million Americans would have lost their jobs in the middle of the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes.
Some said it was too late to turn things around. But I refused to turn my back on so many of the workers that I’d met. Instead, I placed my bet on American workers. I placed my bet on American manufacturing. In exchange for help, we demanded responsibility. We said the auto industry would have to truly change, not just pretend that it did. We got labor and management to settle their differences. We got the industry to retool and restructure. Everyone had some skin in the game.
Our plan wasn’t popular. Critics said it was a “road to socialism,” or a “disaster” waiting to happen. But I’d make that bet again any day of the week. Because today, the American auto industry is back. Since our plan went into effect, our automakers have added more than 640,000 new jobs. We’ve cut the Detroit-area unemployment rate by more than half. The Big Three automakers are raising wages. Seven years ago, auto sales hit a 27-year low. Last year, they hit an all-time high.
Later this month, I’ll visit the Detroit Auto Show to see this progress firsthand. Because I believe that every American should be proud of what our most iconic industry has done.
It’s not unlike what America overall has done these past seven years. Our businesses are now on a 70-month streak of job creation, with more than 14 million new jobs in all. We’ve revamped our schools and the way we pay for college. We’ve made historic investments in clean energy and put ourselves on a path to a low-carbon future. We’ve brought more than 17 million Americans into our health care system, seen health care prices grow at the lowest rate in fifty years, and covered more than 90 percent of our people for the very first time. We’ve even cut our deficits by nearly 75 percent in the process.
The point is America can do anything. Even in times of great challenge and change, our future is entirely up to us. That’s been on my mind while I’m writing my final State of the Union Address. And on Tuesday, I’m going to talk about the choices we have to make to set this country firmly on an even better, brighter course for decades to come.

The New Year’s Eve release of over 3000 new Hillary Clinton emails from the State Department has CNN abuzz over gossipy text messages, the “who gets to ride with Hillary” selection process set up by her staff, and how a “cute” Hillary photo fared on Facebook.
But historians of the 2011 NATO war in Libya will be sure to notice a few of the truly explosive confirmations contained in the new emails: admissions of rebel war crimes, special ops trainers inside Libya from nearly the start of protests, Al Qaeda embedded in the U.S. backed opposition, Western nations jockeying for access to Libyan oil, the nefarious origins of the absurd Viagra mass rape claim, and concern over Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves threatening European currency.
A March 27, 2026 intelligence brief on Libya, sent by long time close adviser to the Clintons and Hillary’s unofficial intelligence gatherer, Sidney Blumenthal, contains clear evidence of war crimes on the part of NATO-backed rebels. Citing a rebel commander source “speaking in strict confidence” Blumenthal reports to Hillary [emphasis mine]:
Under attack from allied Air and Naval forces, the Libyan Army troops have begun to desert to the rebel side in increasing numbers. The rebels are making an effort to greet these troops as fellow Libyans, in an effort to encourage additional defections.
(Source Comment: Speaking in strict confidence, one rebel commander stated that his troops continue to summarily execute all foreign mercenaries captured in the fighting…).
While the illegality of extra-judicial killings is easy to recognize (groups engaged in such are conventionally termed “death squads”), the sinister reality behind the “foreign mercenaries” reference might not be as immediately evident to most.
While over the decades Gaddafi was known to make use of European and other international security and infrastructural contractors, there is no evidence to suggest that these were targeted by the Libyan rebels.
There is however, ample documentation by journalists, academics, and human rights groups demonstrating that black Libyan civilians and sub-Saharan contract workers, a population favored by Gaddafi in his pro-African Union policies, were targets of “racial cleansing” by rebels who saw black Libyans as tied closely with the regime.[1]
Black Libyans were commonly branded as “foreign mercenaries” by the rebel opposition for their perceived general loyalty to Gaddafi as a community and subjected to torture, executions, and their towns “liberated” by ethnic cleansing. This is demonstrated in the most well-documented example of Tawergha, an entire town of 30,000 black and “dark-skinned” Libyans which vanished by August 2011 after its takeover by NATO-backed NTC Misratan brigades.
These attacks were well-known as late as 2012 and often filmed, as this report from The Telegraphconfirms:
After Muammar Gaddafi was killed, hundreds of migrant workers from neighboring states were imprisoned by fighters allied to the new interim authorities. They accuse the black Africans of having been mercenaries for the late ruler. Thousands of sub-Saharan Africans have been rounded up since Gaddafi fell in August.
It appears that Clinton was getting personally briefed on the battlefield crimes of her beloved anti-Gaddafi fighters long before some of the worst of these genocidal crimes took place.
The same intelligence email from Sydney Blumenthal also confirms what has become a well known theme of Western supported insurgencies in the Middle East: the contradiction of special forces training militias that are simultaneously suspected of links to Al Qaeda.
Blumenthal relates that “an extremely sensitive source” confirmed that British, French, and Egyptian special operations units were training Libyan militants along the Egyptian-Libyan border, as well as in Benghazi suburbs.
While analysts have long speculated as to the “when and where” of Western ground troop presence in the Libyan War, this email serves as definitive proof that special forces were on the ground only within a month of the earliest protests which broke out in the middle to end of February 2011 in Benghazi.
By March 27 of what was commonly assumed a simple “popular uprising” external special operatives were already “overseeing the transfer of weapons and supplies to the rebels” including “a seemingly endless supply of AK47 assault rifles and ammunition.”
Yet only a few paragraphs after this admission, caution is voiced about the very militias these Western special forces were training because of concern that, “radical/terrorist groups such as the Libyan Fighting Groups and Al Qa’ida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) are infiltrating the NLC and its military command.”
Though the French-proposed U.N. Security Council Resolution 1973 claimed the no-fly zone implemented over Libya was to protect civilians, an April 2011 email sent to Hillary with the subject line “France’s client and Qaddafi’s gold” tells of less noble ambitions.
The email identifies French President Nicholas Sarkozy as leading the attack on Libya with five specific purposes in mind: to obtain Libyan oil, ensure French influence in the region, increase Sarkozy’s reputation domestically, assert French military power, and to prevent Gaddafi’s influence in what is considered “Francophone Africa.”
Most astounding is the lengthy section delineating the huge threat that Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves, estimated at “143 tons of gold, and a similar amount in silver,” posed to the French franc (CFA) circulating as a prime African currency. In place of the noble sounding “Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) doctrine fed to the public, there is this “confidential” explanation of what was really driving the war [emphasis mine]:
This gold was accumulated prior to the current rebellion and was intended to be used to establish a pan-African currency based on the Libyan golden Dinar. This plan was designed to provide the Francophone African Countries with an alternative to the French franc (CFA).
(Source Comment: According to knowledgeable individuals this quantity of gold and silver is valued at more than $7 billion. French intelligence officers discovered this plan shortly after the current rebellion began, and this was one of the factors that influenced President Nicolas Sarkozy’s decision to commit France to the attack on Libya.)
Though this internal email aims to summarize the motivating factors driving France’s (and by implication NATO’s) intervention in Libya, it is interesting to note that saving civilian lives is conspicuously absent from the briefing.
Instead, the great fear reported is that Libya might lead North Africa into a high degree of economic independence with a new pan-African currency.
French intelligence “discovered” a Libyan initiative to freely compete with European currency through a local alternative, and this had to be subverted through military aggression.
Early in the Libyan conflict Secretary of State Clinton formally accused Gaddafi and his army of using mass rape as a tool of war. Though numerous international organizations, like Amnesty International, quickly debunked these claims, the charges were uncritically echoed by Western politicians and major media.
It seemed no matter how bizarre the conspiracy theory, as long as it painted Gaddafi and his supporters as monsters, and so long as it served the cause of prolonged military action in Libya, it was deemed credible by network news.
Two foremost examples are referenced in the latest batch of emails: the sensational claim that Gaddafi issued Viagra to his troops for mass rape, and the claim that bodies were “staged” by the Libyan government at NATO bombing sites to give the appearance of the Western coalition bombing civilians.
In a late March 2011 email, Blumenthal confesses to Hillary that,
I communicated more than a week ago on this story—Qaddafi placing bodies to create PR stunts about supposed civilian casualties as a result of Allied bombing—though underlining it was a rumor. But now, as you know, Robert Gates gives credence to it. (See story below.)
Sources now say, again rumor (that is, this information comes from the rebel side and is unconfirmed independently by Western intelligence), that Qaddafi has adopted a rape policy and has even distributed Viagra to troops. The incident at the Tripoli press conference involving a woman claiming to be raped is likely to be part of a much larger outrage. Will seek further confirmation.
Not only did Defense Secretary Robert Gates promote his bizarre “staged bodies” theory on CBS News’ “Face The Nation,” but the even stranger Viagra rape fiction made international headlines as U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice made a formal charge against Libya in front of the UN Security Council.
What this new email confirms is that not only was the State Department aware of the spurious nature of what Blumenthal calls “rumors” originating solely with the rebels, but did nothing to stop false information from rising to top officials who then gave them “credence.”
It appears, furthermore, that the Viagra mass rape hoax likely originated with Sidney Blumenthal himself.

Donald Trump is saying he can win a number of states not easily won by a Republican. So, is this just a boast or something to keep Hillary Clinton and Fox News awake at night?
The big prizes among these states are Florida and New York with their 29 Electoral votes.
Trump can take New York because: A) he gets 25% of the Black vote, a fact which is not even challenged anymore, B) he is getting 45% of Hispanics, C) the conviction of Sheldon Silver, the most powerful Democrat in the state and the likely indictment of Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo means the Democrats won’t be able to help Hillary Clinton and D) the City of New York will not be enough to overcome the Trump wave from upstate and the City’s bedroom counties. Put New York’s 29 ECVs in Trump’s column.
Ohio is another state that Trump will win by building off the surprisingly good showing Republicans made among Black voters in 2014 when 28% voted Republican. In 2012 Mitt Romney lost Ohio by less than 2 points and Trump is already polling well with blue collar Democrats which will be helpful in the Buckeye State. Put Ohio’s 18 ECVs in Trump’s column.
Pennsylvania has gone Democrat in the last several presidential elections but not by more than 5 points. This would still mean a steep climb for Trump except for the fact that Democrat’s must rely on a large Black vote in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and a few other big cities. Add in a Bernie Sanders type Democrat governor, the recent declaration by Philadelphia’s mayor that his will become a “Sanctuary City” and the Email sex scandal rocking the Commonwealth’s Democrat structure and Trump should more than make up the 5 points he needs to add Pennsylvania’s 20 ECVs to his column.
Florida is a state that was lost in 2012 because Romney was a poor candidate and the state’s Republican Party is weak and ineffective even though they control the state from top to bottom (due to skillful gerrymandering). Trump is already ahead of Hillary Clinton in Florida and it is one of his “second” home states. South Florida, where Trump has to do well, is a place that is celebrity driven and so it’s ready made for Trump. He will do well in the mid-state area and very well in the upper third of Florida to take its 29 ECVs.
Massachusetts is a hard nut to crack even for Trump but history shows that given a candidate that is real and serious, voters will crossover and support a Republican. Nevertheless, at this point there is no reason to believe Trump can take Massachusetts 11 ECVs.
So, for the most part Trump’s claim to be able to win at least 96 ECVs that should be easy pickups for Clinton makes sense. Added to the 195 ECVs he will get almost automatically and Trump is off to a very good start.

The United States, along with the rest of the world, has been on edge recently as radical Islamic terrorists become a greater threat and attacks become more likely.
President Barack Obama and liberals have assured us that the radicals are “contained” and that refugees brought into this country from the Middle East pose no danger, but recent discoveries have, once again, proven those claims to be completely untrue.
It was previously believed that approximately 72 people in the United States had been involved in terrorist plots against the country since 2014, but the Washington Free Beacon recently uncovered information that showed an additional 41 terrorists have been implicated since that time. This brings the total number to 113, according to information provided by Congressional sources.
You would think that our president would want as much information as possible about these alleged terrorists, but the Obama administration has consistently stonewalled congressional efforts to obtain more detailed immigration histories of these individuals.
Some have now begun accusing the administration of purposefully covering up this information to avoid exposing flaws in the U.S. screening process.
Because it’s more important for us to look safe than to actually be safe… right?

About one third of the world’s governments and dictatorships are on track to meet United Nations education targets aiming to change the values of humanity as part of its “Education for All” initiative, according to a reportreleased last week by the UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). With Common Core and related schemes, the Obama administration has been at the forefront of that effort. To deal with those that have not yet met UN schooling goals, UNESCO bureaucrats are seeking more than $22 billion per year in taxpayer funding to provide what the self-styled global education agency refers to as “quality education” for all children. Going forward, as a component of the broader UN “post-2015 agenda,” the UN outfit outlined even more extreme plans to impose its “quality education” scheming on all of humanity.
However, as UN documents make clear, the planetary entity’s vision for “quality education” is radically different from traditional American notions of proper schooling and instruction. For example, UNESCO documents and global agreements dealing with the UN education agenda focus a great deal on bringing about “changes in attitudes, values and behavior.” In official documents, UNESCO argues that these changes are “required” to move toward the “sustainable” new world they seek. The global education bureaucracy, which is also pushing planetary school standards, boasts of its efforts to turn children into “global citizens.” As the UNESCO Global Citizenship Education webpage explains: “social justice, diversity, gender equality and environmental sustainability” are needed to “empower learners to be responsible global citizens.”
In an April 9 UN press release touting “major gains” toward meeting what it calls the “world’s education goals,” the dictator-dominated global body summarizes the findings of its “2015 Global Monitoring Report – Education for All 2000-2015: Achievements and Challenges.” The report boasts that more and more children are now in “early childhood care” — an increase of nearly two thirds in the last 15 years. Governments have also “increased efforts to measure learning outcomes through national and international assessments, using these to ensure that all children receive the quality of education they were promised,” the UN document explains.
Of course, since taking power, the Obama administration has taken the lead in foisting the controversial UN goals onto the American people. In fact, Obama Education Secretary Arne Duncan, who referred to UNESCO as a “global partner” of the administration in its “cradle-to-career” agenda to shape the minds of children, has openly celebrated the unconstitutional scheming in speeches to the UN agency and other groups. Among the elements that have taken massive leaps forward are the Obama administration’s push for more “early childhood education” and the vacuuming up of unprecedented amounts of data about American children. Perhaps the most obvious, though, is the administration’s use of unconstitutional bribes to impose Common Core national standards on U.S. schools formerly controlled by local communities, as well as the accompanying federally funded national testing regime.
The UN celebrated its global success in that regard, too. “In 1990, 12 learning assessments were conducted according to national standards, but by 2013 the number had increased to 101,” the UNESCO report boasts, as if stripping families and local communities of control over education and even the right to self-governance were somehow a positive development to be proud of. The controversial report also celebrates the UN role in pushing governments toward educational centralization via national and global assessments based on those national and international standards. Of course, those Obama-pushed “national” standards in the United States, as The New American has documented extensively, line up well with the radical global standards being pushed by globalists and the UN. In 2004, chief Common Core financier Bill Gates even signed a “cooperation agreement” on education with UNESCO.
The more than 500-page UN education report also outlines what it refers to as the “post-2015 global education agenda,” which will be even more radical than the previous set of goals. “This Report draws on all of this experience, to make sharp recommendations for the place of education in the future global sustainable development agenda,” the report summary written by UNESCO boss andlongtime Communist Party operative Irina Bokova explains, with the term “global sustainable development” essentially interchangeable with planetary tyranny. “The lessons are clear. New education targets must be specific, relevant and measurable.”
Even more Orwellian systems to gather sensitive information on all children around the world — similar to the Common Core-linked data-gathering and data-mining schemes imposed on American states via bribes from the Obama administration — are also critical, the UN said about the next set of global education goals. “The future agenda will also need ever-stronger monitoring efforts, including data collection, analysis and dissemination,” the summary continues. As The New American has documented extensively, parents would almost certainly be shocked and appalled by the intrusive violations of student and family privacy already being rolled out across the United States. UNESCO wants more of that — worldwide.
Indeed, UN bureaucrats bragged that there is much more to come. “The world has made tremendous progress towards ‘Education for All,’” said UNESCO boss Irina Bokova, a Bulgarian Communist Party operative with well-established ties to the ruthless dictatorship that enslaved her nation until recent decades. “However the agenda is far from finished.” UNESCO Report Director Aaron Benavot was even more explicit. “Unless concerted action is taken and education receives the attention that it failed to get during the past 15 years, millions of children will continue to miss out and the transformative vision of the new sustainable development agenda will be jeopardized,” he explained.
So far, the radical UN education agenda to transform children into what its ringleaders refer to as “green” so-called “global citizens” ready for the “New World Order” has advanced largely in the shadows. However, despite the lack of media attention — and the brazen deception used to promote the plot — it was never truly a secret. Indeed, UNESCO’s leadership has openly boasted about preparing humanity for world government based on “humanism” since it was founded. UNESCO’s “World Core Curriculum” has served as a template for the global miseducation regime now being imposed on the planet. The curriculum was developed by UN Assistant Secretary-General Robert Muller, a self-declared disciple of Lucifer Publishing Company (now Lucis Trust) founder Alice Bailey.
The plot got a major boost in 1990, when governments and dictators from around the world converged at the UN “World Conference on Education for All.” At that summit, UN member regimes agreed to the “World Declaration on Education for All: Meeting Basic Learning Needs” (the Jomtien Declaration). While obscure and misleading language is often used to conceal the agenda — mandatory government schooling for all, for example, as outlined in Karl Marx’s Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto — it is not difficult to see through it.
“Meeting basic learning needs constitutes a common and universal human responsibility,” argues the declaration. In other words, education was no longer supposed to be a responsibility of families, local communities, or even national governments — but of the UN. “It requires international solidarity and equitable and fair economic relations in order to redress existing economic disparities.” The so-called “basic learning needs” of children are described by the UN agreement as, among other elements, “the basic learning content … required by human beings.” Therefore, at least in the globalist mind, there is a need for global standards to ensure that all human beings learn the content that they “require.” Even children who do not attend government schools — homeschoolers, private-schooled students, and more — must rely on “the same standards of learning applied to schools,” the UN document states.
More recently, the UN convened governments and dictators from around the world in 2000 to sign the “The Dakar Framework for Action — Education for All: Meeting our Collective Commitments.” That is where the formal goals addressed in last week’s UNESCO report originated, unbeknownst to the overwhelming majority of humanity that was being targeted by the scheme. That document also explains what the UN and its mostly autocratic member regimes had in mind. For example, it demands that governments “implement integrated strategies for gender equality in education which recognize the need for changes in attitudes, values and practices.” Later on, the same report explains that to achieve “gender equality” — in actuality, radical feminist doctrines aimed at getting all women into the workforce and all children into “early childhood care” — “changes in attitudes, values and behavior are required.”
The targets for those “required” shifts in values and behavior, of course, are your children. Even now, with support from the highest levels of the Obama administration, America’s future — its children — along with students around the world, are being subjected to UNESCO-backed “sex education,” absurd “sight method” reading methodologies that destroy literacy, dumbed-down educational standards to crush critical-thinking abilities, and much more. If American parents and taxpayers do not rise up and put a stop to the abuse in the near future, the prospects for preserving liberty, prosperity, national sovereignty, Biblical values and religion, and even common sense will continue to diminish. Common Core has already ignited a firestorm of trans-partisan opposition across America among outraged teachers, parents, students, experts, and taxpayers. However, much more must be done if the globalist education plotting is going to be successfully crushed.

1: In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.
2: Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
3: Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President.
4: Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, withintwenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office. ratified #25
