Better Keep An Eye On This ~ First ‘Red Heifer Born In 2,000 YEARS’

Bible prophecy FULFILLED as first ‘red heifer born in 2,000 YEARS’ signalling END OF DAYS

A BIBLICAL prophecy has been fulfilled as a “red heifer” was born signalling the end of days and the coming of the Messiah in both Christianity and Judaism.

Israel: Temp Institute welcomes newborn red heifer

The Temple Institute announced the birth of an entirely red female calf that “brings the promise of reinstating Biblical purity to the world”.

Red heifers feature in end times tales in both Christianity and Judaism.

The cow’s birth and sacrifice is said to proceed the construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.

And the Third Temple’s construction – following the destruction of the previous two – heralds the arrival of the Jewish Messiah.

While some Evangelical Christian theologians have linked the building of the Third Temple to Judgement Day.

Rabbi Chain Richman, director of the Temple Institute, hailed the red heifer’s birth as suggestions the time could be right for the Third Temple.

The Temple Institute announced the birth of the red heifer on their YouTube page with the video “Red heifer candidate born in Israel”.

It includes a video of the red calf and its mother – revealing “a perfectly red heifer was born in the land of Israel”.

The cow went under “extensive examination by rabbinical experts” who confirmed she is a “viable candidate for the Biblical red heifer”.

They admitted however the cow could be disqualified through natural causes.

Messiah

MESSIAH: Could the birth of the red heifer prelude to the Jewish saviour?

Temple Institute bosses founded their Raise a Red Heifer in Israel program three years ago and have trying to breed a perfectly red cow.

Frozen embryos of red angus cows have been imported and implanted into traditional Israeli domestic cows, reports Breaking Israel News.

The newborn red heifer was verified by a board of rabbis from the Temple Institute as fulfilling the prophesied requirements.

Prophecy in the Hebrew Bible states the cow must be red “without blemish”, must not have worked.

RED HEIFER: Is this baby calf really the prophesied cow before the construction of the temple?

Red Heifer YOUTUBE/TEMPLEINSTITUE

PROPHECY: Rabbis inspected the red heifer and confirmed its purity according to the institute

It is claimed there have only been nine true red heifers – and the 10th will herald the construction of the Third Temple.

The Temple Institute believes a red heifer will be needed to be scarified to complete the ritual of purification for the temple – heralding the coming of the Jewish Messiah.

Red heifers have previously been found by the organisation – who have then disqualified them for not meeting prophetic standards.

One was found in 1999, but was disqualified for being male – and a second was born in 2002, which was found to have a patch of white hair.

Destruction of the temple

JERUSALEM: The destruction of the first and second temple paved the way for the third

Writing on the Temple Institute’s website, Rabbi Caimen said: “Does this perhaps mean that the appearance of a red heifer in these waning end times is an indication, a forerunner of the appearance of the Messiah himself, who will officiate at its preparation?

“If there has been no red heifer for the past 2,000 years, perhaps it is because the time was not right; Israel was far from being ready.

“But now, what could it mean for the times we live in, to have the means for purification so close at hand?”

He added: “We cannot help but wonder and pray: If there are now red heifers… is ours the era that will need them?”

Second temple destroyed

ISRAEL: Prophecy claims the raising of the Third Temple will herald the Messiancic Age

Evangelical Christians believe the construction of the Third Temple all herald their own end times prophecy.

The prophecy has even been linked to the US President Donald Trump moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

Rabbi Hillel Weiss said he believes Trump’s decision over the embassy is the first stage of bringing about the end of days.

And then a third Rabbi, Pinchas Winston, claimed ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel is building to the Messiah.

ASTONISHING Woman With a Touch of Einstein Genius

by Rev. Austin Miles

Where are the Einstein’s of today is a lament we hear often, or an Alexander Graham Bell or a Thomas Edison? No such individuals are visible today…at least that is the thinking of most. Anyone looking for such geniuses would of course be seeking a man who might fit the bill.

But how about a woman?? Yes, a woman! Why not a woman?

STOP THE PRESSES!!

We have discovered just such a genius woman, a skilled engineer who designed and built a power monitor for the space shuttles’ computer power supply. This became part of the shuttles’ test platform. It automatically detected the sleep mode from the operating mode and adjusted the overload point accordingly, it was also self-testing which was a big plus to NASA.

After that Ms. Hart worked for a company as a contractor developing test system hardware and software for testing the radiation detectors used by the NASA deep space probe. She was then recruited by the Army Corps of Engineers. They sent her to Washington, D.C. to work on one of their projects, which was a vital machine that nobody….NOBODY…could fix. Liza COULD and DID. Within six months the machine was up and running. She designed a completely new control system and built it.

At the time, the company [that] the Army Corps of Engineers sent her to, said the machine was looking at variable densities for detection of Contraband. Liza, the female Einstein of our time, figured that machine might also work for explosives detection.

Her new idea combined spectroscopy, broad spectrum and x-rays, which was an entirely new idea. The company who had the machine brought in the bomb squad who tested it with live explosives. It worked.

There had also been a problem with the X-ray tubes that could not handle the high voltage (160.000 volts) which caused some of the tubes to blow up. Yet that high voltage was needed to produce the X-rays needed. A catch 22 if there ever was one. Instead of throwing up her hands, Ms. Hart simply shifted her genius brain in gear and went at it.

She came up with a new X-ray Tube Assembly Design. This resulted in a patent and that design is still used to this day and machines that came from that are in place at international airports.

This is only A SMALL PART of the various inventions created by Liza Hart who holds patents on them, many which have saved lives including medical devices while working with a heart doctor. Her inventions have been so significant to the world that she is now a part of history.

This columnist first met Liza Hart at the PTL (Praise the Lord) television studios in Charlotte, North Carolina over 30 years ago. Ms. Hart was an engineer for the TV program who was able to immediately fix any problems that arose regarding transmission, sound, camera dysfunctions, or any other gremlin that could possibly interfere with the smooth transmission of the program to the world.

Here is GREAT news for farmers, landscapers, gardeners and those who use a tractor lawn mower. This brilliant brainy woman has just created an invention just for you. Yes and it could indeed save your life.

Tractors, motorized lawn mowers can tip over, and many deaths have taken place during that tip over. Indeed, in one year alone, there were 34,000 rollovers and 401 people were killed as their vehicle turned while going up a slope and flipped over.

Ms. Hart designed a rollover/tip-over alarm that warns the driver that the laws of gravity are about to prove their effectiveness. However, before it gets to that point, the alarm goes off and the motor shuts off. And this is accomplished by a small device that is attached to the tractor or mower called a Tip Over Alarm. and it is not that expensive. This is to save lives and injuries, plus humiliation if your neighbors witness it.

Ms. Hart has just formed a company called, TipOver Solutions.  Here is the website for all information: http://www.TipOver.solutions. (Don’t forget that dot after “Over”). This column does books, concert and film reviews and is reviewing a product for the first time, one that will prevent injuries and even death amongst people I especially love, since I am still a farm boy at heart.

You can also call Ms. Hart for further information. Her number is: 423-579-2786. This number is ONLY for business inquiries, not marriage proposals. Hear?

Readers can get further info and put in an order for the life-saving device which will be shipped out after the holidays, meaning January or February. Save this article.

A further note on this remarkable woman. She is highly respected by all the pastors in her area and is a certified prison chaplain, holding Bible classes for inmates. She has a tremendous positive effect on everyone she meets and deals with. We need more like her.

ANALYZING TODAY’S NEWS FOR TOMORROW’S HISTORY.

Thank You Tom Petty 1950-2017

By Jim O’Neill

Well it’s all right, even if they say you’re wrong
Well it’s all right, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it’s all right, as long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it’s all right, every day is Judgment Day

Well it’s all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it’s all right, if you live the life you please
Well it’s all right, even if the sun don’t shine
Well it’s all right, we’re going to the end of the line

Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne “End of the Line

The world lost one of its premier rock singer/songwriters with the recent death of Tom Petty.  His music and lyrics have played on the background soundtrack of my life for decades – beginning with the song “Breakdown” in 1978.

No doubt Tom’s family and friends (and any number of fans) are heartbroken by his sudden death…but to my mind he’s on to bigger and better things, and I say “God bless you Tom Petty – thank you so much and Bon Voyage!”  Don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying that I don’t have a tear in my eye as a wave farewell.

I figured out many years ago that this life is no permanent gig, and we can be pulled away in the blink of an eye at any given moment.  So, I try to live this life as fearlessly as I can – to love life, and embrace death when it comes; to leave this life a better being than when I arrived, and the world a bit better for my having been here.

Some say life will beat you down

It’ll break your heart, steal your crown

So I started out for God knows where

I guess I’ll know when I get there

I’m learning to fly, but I ain’t got wings

Coming down…is the hardest thing

Tom Petty “Learning to Fly

Relatively very few of us live in the rarified spiritual atmosphere of the higher states of consciousness — lacking the spiritual energy to reach escape velocity from this mundane world’s spiritual gravity well.  Most of us simply get by, doing the best we can, day by day.  That means that often simply standing tall and being strong in the face of adversity is quite an accomplishment, as Tom well knew.

I’ll stand my ground
Won’t be turned around
And I’ll keep this world from dragging me down
Gonna stand my ground

And I won’t back down

Hey, baby, there ain’t no easy way out
I won’t back down
I will stand my ground
And I won’t back down

 Well I know what’s right
I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushing me around
But I’ll stand my ground

Tom Petty “I Won’t Back Down

In any event, I believe that the love, prayers, and tributes of family, friends, and fans accompany Tom and will help ease his way as he travels into the ultimate Great Wide Open.  Thanks Tom, thanks a lot – and may God guide, bless, and protect you on your way to your next port of call, and upon your arrival.

Resolutions

It is not yet Christmas and here I am thinking of New Year’s resolutions.  The subject was not on my mind until I saw MTV’s New Year’s resolutions for white men.  To quote Dave Barry, “I swear, I ain’t making this up.”  Go check it for yourself.

When you choose one group or another as the reason for your perceived failures without so much as a peek into the mirror might it be that those reasons reside within.  Is it not within the realm of possibility that our failures are a product of our works?  History shows for any society to lay their problems on the doorstep of a particular group of people is a precariously tread path.

“To find the cause of our ills in something outside ourselves, something specific that can be spotted and eliminated, is a diagnosis that cannot fail to appeal.  To say that the cause of our troubles is not in us but in the Jews, and pass immediately to the extermination of the Jews, is a prescription likely to find wide acceptance.”  – Eric Hoffer, The Passionate State of Mind

I do not imagine that an attempt at exterminating white men would be very successful, but if you listen to some of these rabid haters it is clear that if some thought they had the power they would certainly give it a try.  Christians are another story.  It seems we offend a lot of people these days also.  For many years, there has been a concerted effort to strike us and what we believe from the American psyche and to the extent that business owners are sued and fined because they do not support homosexual marriage.  Exterminating Christians?  It is already being allowed across the Middle East and North Africa.  Here?  If we are the perceived root of problems?

I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how we turned into such a whiny, self-absorbed society.  A real wuss society.  I believe we have turned many of our children into neurotic messes.  I read the news and look at the cover of a National Geographic magazine picturing a 9 year-old transgender.  I am at a loss as to how that happens.  Most certainly the child was coached up by a parent.  We turn out masses of partially educated “college” graduates who are convinced that the world’s problems rest on the shoulders of white men.  Did they arrive at their institution of higher education with this preconceived notion?  Or, was it pumped into their partially filled brains at one of our universities few of which require any study of Western Civilization?  Students arrive at these institutions largely illiterate of US history and civics and leave there not much better off.  They are offended by everything, they need safe spaces, free speech zones and when the reality that much of America does not think as they do hits them they require crying rooms and counseling.  Men who want to be men cannot.  Masculinity is frowned upon.  Women who want to be women cannot.  Feminism outweighs femininity.  Anyone who endorses the natural order things is scorned as a bigot – an ist or a phobic.

How about we arrive at some American resolutions?  Let us be a country once again.  A people united with a commonality, an allegiance to the ideals that made us great in the first place.  Not divided groups vying for superiority.  And make no mistake that is where we stand.  That is where we allowed career politicians and activists to bring us.  Right on the brink of self-destruction.  Right to the point where some half-educated, half raised, brainwashed, participation trophy recipients feel the need to come up with resolutions for my life.  Go to hell.  Geeze, does that make me an angry white man?

Take a look in your mirror.  A long hard look.  Physician, heal yourself! – From Luke 4:23

Scientists Explain Why It Is Inevitable That America Will Be Hit By Absolutely Monstrous Earthquakes

Over the past couple of months, major earthquakes have shaken areas all over the planet and major volcanoes have been erupting with a frequency that is more than just a little bit startling.

Have you noticed that the crust of the Earth is starting to become a lot more unstable?

Over the past couple of months, major earthquakes have shaken areas all over the planet and major volcanoes have been erupting with a frequency that is more than just a little bit startling.  Here in the United States, the state of Oklahoma absolutely shattered their yearly record for quakes last year, we just saw a very disturbing earthquake right along the New Madrid fault just recently, and as you will see below one scientist is telling us that the San Andreas fault in southern California “looks like it’s locked, loaded and ready to go”.

The name of the scientist that issued that very ominous warning is Thomas Jordan, and he is the director of the Southern California Earthquake Center.  The following quote from Jordan comes from a Los Angeles Times article that was published this week that is getting a huge amount of attention right now…

“The springs on the San Andreas system have been wound very, very tight. And the southern San Andreas fault, in particular, looks like it’s locked, loaded and ready to go,” Jordan said in the opening keynote talk.

Other sections of the San Andreas fault also are far overdue for a big quake. Further southeast of the Cajon Pass, such as in San Bernardino County, the fault has not moved substantially since an earthquake in 1812, and further southeast toward the Salton Sea, it has been relatively quiet since about 1680 to 1690.

Here’s the problem: Scientists have observed that based on the movement of tectonic plates, with the Pacific plate moving northwest of the North American plate, earthquakes should be relieving about 16 feet of accumulated plate movement every 100 years. Yet the San Andreas has not relieved stress that has been building up for more than a century.

Jordan went on to say that when the tension that has been building along the San Andreas fault is finally relieved, it could potentially produce a magnitude 8 earthquake.

Back in 2008, the U.S. Geological Survey concluded that just a magnitude 7.8 earthquake along the southern San Andreas fault would cause more than 1,800 deaths, 50,000 injuries and 200 billion dollars in damage.

So we are talking about a truly historic event.

Many people out there believe that someday large portions of California will fall into the ocean as the result of an absolutely massive earthquake, but the USGS is convinced that is not likely to happen. However, they do openly admit that someday the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco will be located right next to one another…

Will California eventually fall into the ocean?

No. The San Andreas Fault System, which crosses California from the Salton Sea in the south to Cape Mendocino in the north, is the boundary between the Pacific Plate and North American Plate. The Pacific Plate is moving northwest with respect to the North American Plate at approximately 46 millimeters per year (the rate your fingernails grow). The strike-slip earthquakes on the San Andreas Fault are a result of this plate motion. The plates are moving horizontally past one another, so California is not going to fall into the ocean. However, Los Angeles and San Francisco will one day be adjacent to one another!

But of course it isn’t just California that we need to be concerned about.

According to the Daily Mail, one team of scientists has concluded that giant chunks of the Earth’s mantle are “breaking off and sinking into the planet” under the North American plate, and that this is what has caused some of the unusual earthquakes in the eastern part of the country in recent years…

The southeastern United States has been hit by a series of strange unexplained quakes – most recently, the 2011 magnitude-5.8 earthquake near Mineral, Virginia that shook the nation’s capital.

Researchers have been baffled, believing the areas should be relatively quiet in terms of seismic activity, as it is located in the interior of the North American Plate, far away from plate boundaries where earthquakes usually occur.

Now, they believe the quakes could be caused by pieces of the Earth’s mantle breaking off and sinking into the planet.

I don’t know about you, but that sounds rather ominous to me.

The crust of our planet already somewhat resembles a giant cracked egg, and to hear that pieces may be breaking off and sinking into the interior is not exactly comforting.

And those same scientists are telling us that the process that has been causing this is ongoing and will continue to produce more earthquakes…

The study authors conclude this process is ongoing and likely to produce more earthquakes in the future.

‘Our idea supports the view that this seismicity will continue due to unbalanced stresses in the plate,’ said Berk Biryol, a seismologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and lead author of the new study.

‘The [seismic] zones that are active will continue to be active for some time.’

Those that follow my work closely know that I have been writing about seismic activity a lot lately, and that I believe that major earth changes are coming to the North American continent. I am deeply concerned about the New Madrid fault, the Cascadia Subduction zone, the major faults in southern California and Mt. Rainier up in Washington state.

In the end, I don’t believe that we will see just one or two major seismic events in the years ahead.

For those of us that are fortunate enough to live long enough, I believe that all of those areas that I just mentioned will experience major events.

From Facebook to porn, people are replacing real, tangible life experiences with a fantasy world

Why are more men now watching sports and pornography instead of meeting women?

Here’s why more and more people now prefer to be mere spectators in life, playing with their smartphones and tablets, instead of actively experiencing reality for themselves:

Frank Sinatra Jr. Dies During Tour

by Rev. Austin Miles

frank sinatra

DAYTONA 3/17/16—Frank Sinatra Jr. died yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 72 in Daytona, Florida. He had been touring the U.S. He never tried to live his life or his career in the shadow of his father. Frank Jr. was a good performer on his own and depended only upon his own abilities.

When I first met his father, during the opening day of Disneyland in the magic shop located in the Castle, Frank Jr, and Nancy were with him. They were both adorable little kids. Nancy watched a trick being demonstrated and while giggling said to her father; “We should get that and show Mommy.”

In 1963, when he was 19, Frank Jr. was kidnapped from a motel in Lake Tahoe by three men for ransom.. He was taken and held in a Los Angeles hideout for 4 days, while the kidnappers tried to contact his father. They wanted to extort $240,000. They demanded that Jr. give them his telephone number, but he refused. When they insisted, he said, “You’ll have to shoot me first..” He was protective of his father.

Strangely, one of the kidnappers, 23 year old Barry Keenan was a friend of Jr.’s sister, Nancy. He was strung out on drugs and alcohol. Frank Jr. was rescued and Keenan, along with the other two, were captured and arrested .Strangely again, Keenan was given only 4 1/2/years in prison. We are not sure what the other two got. Following his prison sentence Kennan became a successful real estate developer.

The blaring headlined media coverage was such that the public and press accused Frank Jr. of staging this kidnapping as a publicity stunt. It definitely was not. He would not falsely do anything to advance his career, including mentions of his father, which was minimized.

Years later our paths would cross again when we both took part in a benefit in the Bronx to aid singer Mario Lanza, whose mother and son were killed in a fire bomb attack. Recently I had tried to contact him hoping he had information on Ms. Lanza who had moved. I planned to make a trip to Cache Creek Casino to visit him. That was a month ago.

His death was not expected. How I regret that health issues prevented me from going to Cache Creek to visit him. Wish I had pushed through to make that trip. That opportunity will not come again. He was a good guy.

Lady Gaga’s Riveting Oscar Song POWERFUL!

My comments:  If you didn’t see this gal sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, you missed a great performance and a beautiful voice there too…Austin mentions it…

by Rev. Austin Miles

gaga

The 88th Annual Oscar’s self congratulatory grandiloquence ceremony carried on as usual with the actors using it as a platform to push political issues including global warming, LGBT issues and especially racist charges of deliberate success-hindrance to all blacks.  Indeed the entire 10 minutes of M.C. Chris Rock’s opening monologue centered on white’s mistreatment of blacks.

Some of his lines were funny, but others were strained breast strokes in attempts at humor to make specific points, such as: “This year’s in-memorandum presentation will feature blacks on their way to the movies being shot by (white) cops.”  Unfunny, crude and in bad taste, yet the robots in the audience dumbly ‘laughed’ and applauded which they felt necessary to do. This is part of Political Correctness doncha know?

White people take the insults in stride, including this one where Rock stated that the reason blacks have not objected to past white Oscar Nominees (which is based on exceptional performance) was because; “We were too busy being raped and lynched to care about who won best cinematographer.”

Oscar nominations are based on superior acting skills…not just good acting but SUPERIOR acting.  It took Leonardo DiCaprio 22 years and 4 tries to finally win an Oscar even though he was a very competent actor, but was not SUPERB, up until this film. One does not receive an Oscar just for being in a film.

It is to be noted that the ceremony this year was the least watched in 8 years.  The public has had its fill of Staritis aggrandizement.

And that is how it went until Lady Gaga was introduced. The singer who began her career as a creature of curiosity, later evolved into a first-class singer. Her rendition of our National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl ranked among the very best along with Whitney Houston.

She was introduced by Vice President Joe Biden, not by video, but in person on the stage. She sang about an issue close to Mr. Biden’s heart, that of sexual abuse.  His introduction of her was right on target.  “We must change the culture,” he said. “We must and we can change the culture so that no abused woman or man, like the survivors you will see here tonight, ever feel that they have to ask themselves, ‘What did I do?’ They did nothing wrong.”

Lady Gaga took the stage to sing a song she helped compose, Til It Happens to You.  Several name actors and actresses in the audience broke down crying as well as many TV watchers around the world. Millions of people of all ages have been set upon by these perverts who cannot control their lusts and who cannot be trusted to be alone with anybody, male or female.

They cannot be cured because they cannot control themselves. This affects victims for the rest of their lives, something they never get over. Many become promiscuous, others frigid, while a majority takes to alcohol and drugs.  All future relationships they may have are affected and damaged. One thing for sure, relationships established in later life by victims seldom last.

Some who have been violently sexualized by a Scout Master develop a hatred for anyone in authority or anyone in a uniform. Many are left with physical injuries including a torn rectum which leaves them in constant pain.  Lady Gaga, it turns out, was sexually abused as a child.

For her to address this severe societal problem in such a dramatic forceful way was very much needed, and hopefully will result in much tougher laws being enforced against sexual predators.

Imagine how it affects someone struggling with the after-effects of being sexualized by a Scoutmaster to see how insane political correctness not only allows but encourages “gays” to become scoutmasters with insistence that the public accept this perversion. Gay Pride days also stab the hearts of those who have been forcibly sodomized as children by homosexuals. To see such conduct encouraged, rather than condemned, stretches the imagination to the breaking point.

Surrounded by victims, male and females who have been violently sexualized by out of control maniacs, with messages scrawled on their arms, such as, “Not Your Fault,” Not to blame,” “It happened to me,” Lady Gaga sang a powerful song that strongly resonated.

Vice President Joe Biden is to be commended for the stand he has taken against one of society’s’ greatest problems and especially Lady Gaga for bringing the issue front and center during a hugely watched major TV program. This was a valuable contribution.

Animal’s Heaven on Earth

By Rev. Austin Miles

KANAB, Utah 1/5/16. As children, we learned that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow even though that awaiting wealth could not be confirmed by child or adult. It was too difficult to get to the end of the rainbow to find out.

However, we have learned for sure that at the end of The Rainbow Bridge, our beloved pets, the greatest treasures on earth, are anxiously awaiting our arrival.  Meanwhile, animals have indeed found a paradise with the Best Friends Animal Society in the beautiful red rocks of Kanab, Utah.

In a mission to end the killing of shelter pets, Frances Battista and a group of friends have worked for 30 years to accomplish that mission by building the largest no-kill sanctuary for homeless animals in need. Presently they house about 1,700 animals—cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, horses, goats, pigs and sheep just to name a few.

jesus and doggie

Ms. Battista says: “The animals are not going to be put down, not going to be killed for any reason, unless it’s a matter of kindness or compassion or a genuine act of mercy.”

Patty Hegwood is the director of volunteer and visitor engagement, overseeing the 8,000 volunteers who lend a hand each year. Ms. Hegwood explained: “We need our volunteers to help us with a variety of opportunities to make sure these guys have a soft landing, to make sure they get socialized and to, you know, get them ready for that next new home. Our volunteers are absolutely integral to our operation.”

The sprawling 20,000 acre refuge also attracts nearly 30,000 visitors a year. Some come just to spend time with the animals, but many also come to adopt a new furry friend. Best Friends has a very thorough adoption process, making sure each new owner is a perfect fit for the adopted animal.

“Our adoption processes do vary depending on the species. There are some species that are going to require different things, not just a doggy door or litter pan,” Best Friends emergency response manager, John Garcia explained. “We do have to be a lot more conscious of what home we’re placing them in.”

Best Friends Animal Society insists that even though its staff is doing great work at the sanctuary, there is still more that could be done to save shelter pets. Says Ms. Battista: “Over 3.5 million dogs and cats are dying every year. That’s about 9,000 a day. It’s unacceptable. It doesn’t need to happen. And so that is where our attention is on in the work that we’re doing.”

Co-founder Cyrus Mejia adds, “Were trying to change the way people think about animals in this country. We are too complacent in our country, where we just allow a pet we don’t want any longer to be taken to a shelter and be killed, rather than taking some responsibility ourselves.”Amen!

Best Friends operates pet adoption centers and spay/neuter clinics in Los Angeles, New York City and Salt Lake City.  God bless them. Hopefully more and more of these sanctuaries will open all over America. This organization is more than worthy of support.

Oh yes, earlier in this piece, it was suggested that animals go to heaven. That is more than a suggestion.  Here is a piece I did on that subject titled, Do Animals Go to Heaven?

Dolly Parton TV Film’s Astonishing Reception/Reaction

By Rev. Austin Miles

DOLLY

At a time when manipulated misfits are being coached to blame their failures on “White Privilege,” Dolly Parton’s biographical movie, Coat of Many Colors, chronicles the beginning of her life in the Smoky Mountains as one of hardship, extreme difficulties and tragedy, making mere survival almost impossible. There was certainly no evidence of “White Privilege,” for that family, meaning having no difficulties in life such as poverty, lack of education or accomplishment, simply because of being born white. Sure.

Yep, tell that to the early Parton family as they struggled against what seemed to be hopeless odds, or tell that to my early family facing similar hardships  in that same part of the country. Despite the challenges, all made the effort to become educated and to find their place in life, in the community and in careers. None of us felt that life owed us anything.

Coat of Many Colors is based on Ms. Parton’s upbringing. The movie takes viewers inside the tight-knit Parton family as they struggle to overcome devastating tragedy and discover the healing power of love, faith and a raggedy patchwork coat that helped make the singer-actress who she is today.

The telepic is not a biopic or musical and isn’t about her life and performing career. Instead, it’s a family-oriented faith-based story about the incidents in her and her family’s life around the time she was 9 years old. The movie is set in the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains in 1955.

The TV movie, which aired on December 10th on NBC TV, pulled 15.6 million viewers, breaking a six year record for a new television film. Indeed, the film, that was critically lauded, pulled such viewer response with requests for it to be re-aired, that it was shown again on NBC Christmas evening during prime time with an even bigger audience.

There was so much to like about Coat of Many Colors. There was a strong Christian presence which gave strength to the family. Gerald McRaney played Ms. Parton’s grandfather who was the pastor of the town church. The family values exhibited during that very tough time were pure, decent and, yes, wholesome.

The very young star, 7 year old Alyvia Alyn Lind, who was handpicked by Dolly Parton to play her as a 9 year old child, absolutely nailed Ms. Parton as a little kid that included voice inflection and mannerisms.

The father was a non believer even though he did not forbid the family from attending church, even though he himself would never go inside. He would walk them to church and then wait outside for them until the service ended.. He was a decent man who was devoted to his family.

Like today, there were school bullies during that time, and one in particular gave little Dolly an especially bad time. The film builds to a point where, acting upon the Biblical principle of forgiving your enemies, Dolly managed to do this in the midst of an extremely cruel episode by this tough boy. Not too long afterwards, that bully humbly gave his heart to Jesus, and also Parton’s father.

Something about Dolly Parton that should be interesting to readers. Like almost everyone who has a high public profile, there are the gossip mongers who spread all sorts of vicious rumors, in her case, rumors about her marriage and personal life. It is all garbagePeople do this in an effort to make themselves look important and on the inside track of somebody famous.

I know what that is since in the past I also had a fairly high public profile and found myself surrounded by the most incredible rumor-accounts of my life ever invented.

However, here IS some personal info on Dolly Parton that nobody knows. My lovely wife was once a psychiatric nurse in a California State Hospital. She loved her Down syndrome patients who should never have been in a mental institution. Being a gentle woman who loved those patients, she would take them in her own van to various events. One such event was to see the Dolly Parton (in person) Show in Oxnard, California.

They were all given seats at the very front, right at the foot of the stage. During the intermission, Ms. Parton came down off stage to welcome them and shake their hands. They were absolutely thrilled. There was no press involved and nothing was ever printed about it. Ms. Parton did not want any public attention to this gesture which came solely from her sincere heart. And THAT, dear readers, IS Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors proves that audiences are sick and tired of the trashy, violent movies where decency and morality have no place. There are huge audiences ready, indeed eager to see these films and support them. This film and the response prove it.

Here is a TV movie that should be shown every year. It is that good.

Man In 3 Hour Armed Standoff With Doctors To Prevent Them Pulling Plug On “Brain Dead” Son, Who Survives

Source: Daily Mail

A father took a gun into hospital to stop doctors taking his son off life support – and during the three-hour stand-off the young man squeezed his hand.

The sign that he wasn’t brain dead meant he was kept alive – and he is now recovering and doing well.

His father, 59-year-old George Pickering II, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after marching into Tomball Regional Medical Center in Texas with a gun.

His 27-year-old son, George III, had been declared brain dead after suffering a massive stroke in January.

After doctors declared there was no more hope for him, they ordered a ‘terminal wean’ – whereby life support is slowly withdrawn to end a life.
