BREAKING—-
Speaker John Boehner will resign from Congress in October and give up the speakership.
The NY Times reported:
Speaker John A. Boehner will resign from Congress and give up his House seat at the end of October, according to aides in his office.
Mr. Boehner was under extreme pressure from the right wing of his conference over whether or not to defund Planned Parenthood in a bill to keep the government open.

This comes a day after Boehner met with Pope Francis.

I guess after Boehner sold his soul for a bowl of porridge he could no longer look himself in the mirror. When you don’t stand for something you will fall anything. Oh Lord have mercy.

I highly doubt it’s that he can’t look at himself…something is brewing, and he’s probably getting out while the getting is good. What amazes me is that he’s giving up his seat too, that in itself is telling. What is coming up that we don’t know about? Remember, nothing happens in politics that isn’t planned.
