Donald Trump Sends Club for Growth a Cease and Desist Letter

My Comments: My latest article, The National Campaign of Trump Bashing exposed Club for Growth and who funds them. Of interest is the fact that CfG tried to shake down Trump for a million bucks. When he said no, they went after him. Remember who funds CfG…Peter Peterson’s organization, and Peter Peterson is emeritus president of the Council on Foreign Relations. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about CfG.

Donald Trump had his lawyers send a cease and desist letter to the Club for Growth (CFG) over their false statements in television ads.

Among the million dollars that CFG is spending on advertising, is an ad which accuses Trump of wanting to create the biggest tax increase in history. What they fail to mention is Trump’s comment on a wealth tax to pay down the debt was made over 15 years ago and he has not advocated for it since. His campaign issued a press release:

“The misleading ad fails to disclose the details of Mr. Trump’s proposal, a concept he suggested over fifteen years ago and has not supported since. This is the very definition of libel.”

Also in that press release, Trump stated:

“I am not surprised the dishonest, irrelevant and totally failing Club for Growth has resorted to attacking the definitive front runner, especially after I refused to contribute to their pathetic group. We will be releasing my current tax proposal, which is a major decrease in taxes, in the next week and will continue to expose the two faced hypocrisy of the Club for Growth and the problems groups like this perpetuate within a broken Washington, D.C.”

The press release also accuses CFG of demanding one million dollars from Trump in exchange for his support. Fellow presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee is also criticizing CFG for spending a quarter of a million dollars in ads in support of ultra liberal nutcase Alan Grayson as he flirts with the idea of running for Marco Rubio’s Senate seat. CFG says they are supporting Grayson because he is against reauthorizing the Ex-Im bank.

That makes no sense, since Grayson’s likely opponent for the nomination wants to expand the bank. Grayson who is stiffing his wife and children will spend a lot of millions of his money to support his campaign which would surely tout it’s endorsement from the allegedly conservative CFG. That would make him harder to beat in the general election than his opponent.

CFG also bizarrely criticizes Trump on his statements on US auto makers that move manufacturing plants to Mexico. They would then send the cars into the United States for sale. Trump proposed a high tax for those cars in order to make it unprofitable for the car companies to do so:

  • “I would say very simply, ‘Fellas, sorry, you gotta move back.’”
  • “I’ll call them up and say, ‘Gotta go. I don’t want you in Mexico.’”
  • “I would say to the head of Ford, ‘Sorry, I’m not gonna approve. You’re gonna pay a tax, for every car and every truck and every part that comes across that southern border, you’re gonna pay a 35% tax, OK?’ That’s what’s gonna happen.”

CFG responded :

“Donald Trump’s threat to impose new taxes on U.S. car companies will hurt the American economy and cost more American jobs,” said David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth. “It should thrill liberals and Democrats everywhere that Trump wants to create new taxes and start a trade war to force American companies to work where he demands.”

“Trump wants to unilaterally threaten a major U.S. manufacturer with higher taxes.”

“The strength of the U.S. economy has historically been our free markets. But, for the past seven years the Obama Administration has driven up costs for consumers by attacking free markets with costly regulations and executive orders. Now Donald Trump wants to one-up the Obama pen-and-phone method by threatening global companies like Ford with higher taxes to make cars for Americans. If Donald Trump gets his way, the heavy hand of government will get substantially heavier, and car buyers will be left holding the bag.”

Sorry. I had to have time to duct tape my head before responding to the idiotic argument from CFG. CFG says that Trump’s plan would cost the US jobs. But Trump’s plan is to stop American companies from shipping jobs out of the country. The jobs would already be lost. The tax would be an effort to save them. CFG then says Trump would be taxing US companies. Not true. No US company in the US would be affected by the tax. The tax would be imposed on a foreign subsidiary of the American companies.

Since those attacks are so far out in left field, one has to suppose that CFG has an ulterior motive. They say they hate Trump because he is a liberal, then they spend a small fortune in support of Alan Grayson.

Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

35) It was you who allowed Valerie Jarrett, (born in Iran) to negotiate a secret treaty with Iran that would allow them to continue developing nuclear weapons without fear of further sanctions by the U.S. Kamarada Jarrett was born in Iran, by the way.

36) It was you who freed five highly ranked Muslim terrorists from GITMO without giving Congress a thirty day notice as required by the law that YOU signed; in exchange for a US soldier deserter and convert to Islam.

37) It was you who brought hordes of Muslim refugees to the U.S. to be supported by taxpayers, while ignoring Christian refugees who were being slaughtered by Muslims.

38) It was you who approved the change in the U.S. military dress code to allow men to grow Taliban-like beards and to wear turbans.

Is there any doubt left – after the above litany – that B. Hussein Obama is a Sunni Muslim from Kenya, just like his alcoholic Marxist father was?

It is left for me now to list the proofs that our Hussein is also a life-long Marxist which I will leave for the next time.

Clueless surgeon general wants to spends millions on sidewalks

Sometimes I wonder why we even bother with having a surgeon general. It seems like each one is wackier than the last, from kooky C. Everett Koop to Joycelyn Elders and her off the wall comments about what we should be teaching kids in schools.

Now we’ve got a guy whose big mission isn’t the stunning rise of obesity that’s fueling the diabetes epidemic. It’s not antibiotic overuse and the killer superbugs the practice is creating. And it’s not ending the multibillion dollar racket of screening and treating completely harmless cancers

No, Dr. Vivek Murthy’s big crusade is getting people to… go for a walk.

He’s spending those precious few moments he has to capture the public’s attention obsessing over people’s walking habits, claiming that a daily 22 minute stroll is just what we need to drastically cut the risk of chronic disease such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Listen, I got no problem with walking. Everyone should be up on his feet every day getting some movement, and a stroll sure beats shelling out money to hang out with the muscle heads and get hurt in a gym.

But let’s also be realistic, an obese diabetic who goes for a 22-minute stroll and then comes home to Hamburger Helper will remain an obese diabetic. Heck, obese or not, ANYONE who’s unhealthy and does nothing to change his bad habits but add a 22-minute walk to his routine will remain every bit as unhealthy.

The one and only way to truly end the triple epidemics of obesity, diabetes and heart disease is through diet — and the ONE change people have to make to slash their risk is also the simplest… stop eating so much junk.

Yet the surgeon general isn’t making diet the “national priority.”

Nope, instead of urging people to eat better — instead of pointing to the REAL problem, processed foods — he wants communities to spend millions on making better sidewalks.

But what would you expect? His job depends on getting approved by the lawmakers who are funded by the food industry… so OF COURSE he’s not going to spend any time talking about the real elephant in the room.

So don’t listen to him. Listen to me: If you have any of these conditions or just want to avoid them, the first and most important “move” you should make is in your kitchen.

Empty the fridge, freezer and pantry of convenience foods and replace them with fresh animal fats — and if you want proof of how quickly and completely these essential proteins protect the heart, read this free report from the Daily Dose archives.

Hidden Danger In Homes

For most of us , washing our hands is something we do automatically to promote good health and prevent the spread of germs. So far, so good. The problem comes in when we make the mistake of thinking we should use antibacterial soap to do a better job. Let’s face it, antibacterial soap must be better than plain soap, right?

Wrong. Like many products created by modern science to “fix” problems, antibacterial products miss the mark. We use these products to wash our hands, kitchen countertops, and other areas of the home. Seems smart to keep everything clean. So, what’s the problem? The problem is these products can make you sick as a dog. Or worse.

Here’s why you should avoid antibacterial soaps and other antibacterial products like the plague. To keep you and your family healthy you’ll want to learn how to start using better and safer ways to clean your hands and your home. Read on and I’ll show you how.

The Cure is Worse Than the Disease

Antibacterial soaps encourage the growth of drug-resistant bacteria. They also contain ingredients such as triclosan, shown to have a connection to a range of damaging health problems. Triclosan is a man-made ingredient added to many consumer products. Your soap, shampoo, deodorant, and even toothpaste may list this substance as an ingredient.

In 2014 the University of California Davis did a study on triclosan. They found that triclosan weakens muscle function, including heart muscle. After they exposed mice to a dose of triclosan, their heart muscle function dropped a shocking 25 percent. Not only that, but their grip strength diminished by 18 percent compared to pre-test levels. Although humans have not been tested yet, scientists predict the same findings will likely apply.

The University of Victoria in Canada did another study. They found that exposing tadpoles to triclosan caused leg deformities and stunted growth. And the big soap companies want you to wash your hands with this chemical?

I could recite the results of multiple studies, but here’s the real clincher. Triclosan, used in almost all antibacterial soaps and other antibacterial products, was first developed as a pesticide. That’s right. In 1969 it was registered with the EPA as a pesticide, and it still is. No wonder the geniuses at the FDA thought it would kill germs.

Still feel like washing your hands or brushing your teeth with this stuff? The problem is that triclosan is found nearly everywhere throughout the home. It may be in your soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant. But it’s also found in plastic dish strainers, cutting boards, cosmetics, sponges, garbage bags, and even toys.

Don’t Let Regulatory Inaction Sway You

This is serious business and can affect the health of you and your family. It’s so dangerous that many countries have closely regulated the use of triclosan. But, unfortunately, the US has not. Nearly 40 years ago the FDA said it didn’t have enough evidence to make a ruling on triclosan’s safety. The situation is so grave that the Natural Resources Defense Council in 2010 sued the FDA over its inaction on the issue. In fact, Minnesota recently passed laws banning products containing triclosan from being sold in the state. Unfortunately the ban doesn’t start until 2017.

Recently the FDA announced it would address the issue in 2016. Sure, take your time. That’s at least 38 years after it was aware of problems with triclosan. But just because the FDA has been too lazy to do anything about this serious health threat is no reason why you shouldn’t.

Check the Label Before You Buy

It’s easy to stop buying and using products that contain triclosan. Just read labels the next time you buy home and personal care products. If a product says “antibacterial” anywhere on its packaging there is an excellent chance it will contain triclosan. Make a special point to check the toothpaste box next time you buy. Even though it may not say “antibacterial” on the box, it may have triclosan listed in the ingredients. You definitely don’t want to be brushing your teeth with this stuff. In short, anytime you see the words “antibacterial” or triclosan you should consider them a warning label.

How to Wash Your Hands the Right Way

Washing your hands is a great way to help avoid infections and disease-spreading germs. It’s one of the most important ways to protect yourself from becoming sick. Be sure to wash your hands after you use the bathroom, before you eat, and after you’ve been out in public.

Science confirms that you do NOT need antibacterial soap to protect yourself when washing your hands. Even the FDA admits that it’s not necessary. Having said that, it’s important to note that hand washing should be done correctly to fight germs. Just dipping your hands under the faucet or giving them a quick once-over with soap will not wash away the germs. One recent study confirmed that only five percent of people know how to wash their hands in a germ-fighting way. To ensure you remove germs when washing your hands, be sure to take these steps:

  • Use running, warm water (not a basin filled with water), and hand soap (not antibacterial soaps).
  • Get a good lather worked up, and be sure to go up to the wrists, between the fingers, and hit the backs of the hands. Be sure to scrub for at least 15-20 seconds (most of us only wash for around 5-8 seconds).
  • Rinse your hands off completely, again under running water.

Your skin is the main barrier against bacteria and other germs. Don’t get carried away with hand washing to the point that you’re drying out your skin, which can actually raise the chances of getting sick. Dry, cracked skin provides the gateway for germs to enter your body.

Conclusion

Sometimes science creates monsters. That’s what happened with disinfectant soaps and other disinfectant products containing triclosan. The FDA has failed to take any action even though it has known about these problems for at least the past 38 years.

So, because you can’t leave it up to the government to protect you from this poison, you’ve got to take matters into your own hands.

Make a few simple changes in the soaps and other products you use around the house, and protect yourself and your family in the process. Just remember to check the labels before you buy.

Vatican offended by White House guest list inviting LGBT dissidents

The Vatican is offended by the Obama administration’s decision to invite an array of religious dissidents, including transgender activists and an openly gay Episcopal bishop, to greet Pope Francis on his visit to the United States.

A senior Vatican official told the Wall Street Journal that they are concerned photos taken of Pope Francis near the controversial guests “could be interpreted as an endorsement of their activities.”

When the Pope arrives at the White House Wednesday, some of his greeters will include “Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Anglican bishop who’s now a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, a think-tank with ties to the Democratic Party, and Sister Simone Campbell, executive director of the Catholic social justice lobby Network, and a leader of the ‘Nuns on the Bus’ advocacy tours,” reports the Associated Press.

Sister Campbell wrote a letter signed by over 60 heads of religious orders that urged Congress to pass Obamacare, even as U.S. bishops expressed concern that the bill would provide funds for abortion and contraception, in violation of Catholic teaching. Her support for the Affordable Care Act was recognized by Obama when he signed it into law.

Other guests of concern to the Vatican include Mateo Williamson, the former co-head of the Catholic LGBT organization Dignity USA, who is transgender, and Aaron Ledesma, an openly gay Catholic blogger.

“‘The presence of these figures is especially irritating,’ the Vatican official said, ‘because it isn’t yet clear.

And in August, Argentine president Cristina Kirchner tweeted a photo of the Pope holding a sign handed to him at a general audience that read in Spanish: “It’s time for dialogue between Argentina and the United Kingdom on the Falklands.” In both instances, the Vatican stressed that the Pope did not endorse these agendas, but their occurrence underlines the Vatican’s agita over the White House guest list.

The White House could not be reached for response on the Vatican’s reaction to the guest list.

However, on Thursday White House press secretary Josh Earnest said while he did not know all the names on the guest list, reporters shouldn’t jump to conclusions because “there will be 15,000 other people there too.”

The White House hopes to downplay its disagreement with the Catholic Church on life issues during the Pope’s visit, but the Vatican official’s comments come the day the U.S. House voted to suspend funding of taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

The Gates of Edu-Hell: University Centered Insurgency

As a student of the functional organization of government with a particular emphasis on the technocratic tyranny that is being imposed on us, my location in Idaho couldn’t be more perfect to see the methods of the insurgency in operation in the United States. It’s a university-centered insurgency and the insurgents are hiding in plain sight. If you’re a keen observer, you can see them for yourself.

Refugee_Not_a_Refugee

For those of you who have been following the story of refugee resettlement, you are no doubt aware that the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) in Twin Falls is in the spotlight because they are running a sideline business of refugee resettlement despite the fact that their charter was to educate the students of Idaho… period.

This morning as I was preparing to begin the next part of the series I’ve been writing about the infiltration of the Public Health system connected to the Human Genome Project, I found a report on my hard drive that was published in 2001 titled, an Evaluation of the EDA’s University Center Program. The EDA is the Economic Development Administration. It was created in 1965 as a Great Society program.

The following is an excerpt from the Executive Summary of the report:

The University Center Program

The Economic Development Administration’s (EDA’s) University Center Program provides annual funding to higher-education institutions throughout the United States for the support of local and regional economic development. There are currently 69 University Centers located in 45 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

The primary purpose of the Program is to improve the economies and economic development capacity of Center service areas, with emphasis on economically distressed communities. A distinguishing characteristic of the Program is that it leverages staff, students, facilities, research capabilities, and other resources of partnering institutions.

Centers generally undertake three broad categories of activity: direct technical assistance to clients, applied research, and information dissemination. Technical assistance activities typically have one of two types of clients: economic development organizations or individual
businesses.

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe that accommodating communist central planners was in the charter of the community college – nor any college in this state for that matter. But CSI got on this gravy train and they’ve been riding it ever since – no doubt enriching all of their friends and family members as they’ve sold out the people who merely wanted to educate Idaho young people.

The following is a headline from a paid advertisement put into the Washington Times by a concerned group of citizens – Charlotte Iserbyt being one of them. She’s been on a crusade to educate people about the treason ever since. The only mistake she made was to focus attention on primary school education – and not the universities but it’s the universities that have been infiltrated and now we see, taken over by “economic developers” which is just a new way of saying, communist.

BEWARE: Younger kids being targeted for bogus ADHD diagnosis

If you want to see modern medicine at its most irresponsible, you don’t have to visit a hospital or even a doctor’s office.

Just walk into a kindergarten!

Today’s littlest of little school kids are being doped up with powerful and addictive mood-altering drugs that rob them of their personality and turn them into drooling zombies.

And it’s all because of a bogus condition that even most mainstream scientists admit the kids couldn’t possibly have yet: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, aka ADHD.

New research finds that one in three kids with this condition were diagnosed before the age of 6 and HALF before the age of 7.

This is beyond absurd. It’s malpractice — because there’s simply no reliable way to diagnose this condition in children that young. Yet they’re not only being “diagnosed” with this non-disease, they’re force fed drugs that many will stay on for years or even for the rest of their lives.

Younger and younger kids are being saddled with this life-altering diagnosis despite the fact that multiple studies confirm that in most cases — and especially in little kids like these — so-called ADHD is nothing more than simple immaturity.

In fact, the youngest kids in any given class between the ages of 6 and 12 are 70 percent more likely to be diagnosed and drugged for ADHD than the oldest. Since these kids are a little less mature than their older classmates their teachers and parents set common sense aside and decide that there’s something wrong with them. And in older kids, the true cause of ADHD-like symptoms in most cases is a combination of bad diet and worse parenting.

Give them chicken nuggets, Coca-Cola and Doritos, and you can bet they’ll be bouncing off the walls. Throw in PC parents who indulge these little monsters and refuse to discipline them, and you’ve got the perfect storm.

Most of these kids don’t need meds. They need the time to mature and a REAL parental figure who can lay down the law. And if your child does have an actual rare brain disorder, the correct doctor for the job is not the family MD or the drug-distributing head shrink, but a neurologist.

Scott Walker Drops Out Of Race. Oh And He’s A POS. Tries To Take Trump Out.

What a classless act Walker turned out to be. Not only did he drop out, but when doing so he say’s he wants others to do so because then they can take Trump out. Excuse me , but didn’t they all sign a loyalty pledge to support the eventual nominee? Here’s a refresher.

Responding to growing pressure from party donors and officials to dissuade Donald J. Trump from mounting an independent campaign for president, the Republican National Committee on Wednesday asked each of the party’s presidential candidates to sign a statement vowing not to run as a third-party candidate.

With little warning, committee officials called and emailed campaign representatives requesting that they put in writing what every candidate, except for Mr. Trump, has already pledged to do.

“I ______ affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for president of the United States, I will endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is,” the document, on R.N.C. letterhead, states. “I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.”

Maybe Trump Can pickup Walker’s 1 Whole freaken % of support. :)

Scott Walker Ends His 2016 Presidential Run

Updated, 9:59 p.m. | Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, whose early glow as a Republican presidential contender was snuffed out with the rise of anti-establishment rivals, announced Monday that he was quitting the race and urged some of his 15 rivals to do the same so the party could unite against the leading candidate, Donald J. Trump.

Mr. Walker’s pointed rebuke of Mr. Trump gave powerful voice to the private fears of many Republicans that the party risked alienating large parts of the electorate — Hispanics, women, immigrants, veterans, and most recently, Muslims — if Mr. Trump continued vilifying or mocking them as part of his overtures to angry and disaffected voters.

Still, Mr. Walker’s exit was not a selfless sacrifice: He was running low on campaign cash, sliding sharply in opinion polls, losing potential donors to rivals and unnerving supporters with a stream of gaffes, like saying he would consider building a wall along the Canadian border.

Appearing ashen and drained at a brief news conference late Monday in Madison, Mr. Walker said the Republican presidential field was too focused on “how bad things are” rather than on “how we can make them better for everyone.” Without naming Mr. Trump, Mr. Walker issued a plea to fellow candidates to coalesce around a different Republican who could offer a more “optimistic” vision and guide the party to a victory next year that, he admitted with sadness in his voice, he could not achieve himself.

“Today I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field in this race so that a positive, conservative message can rise to the top of the field,” Mr. Walker said. “With this in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately.

“I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same,” he said, “so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current front-runner.”

Carly Fiorina’s Post 9/11 Speech in Praise of Islam Resurfaces

Two weeks after 9/11, on September 26, 2001, Carly Fiorina gave a speech, “Technology, Business and Our Way of Life: What’s Next,” in which she tied courage, leadership, heroes, and “the questions of life and death” to business leaders learning from one of the greatest civilizations to ever exist: Islamic civilization. Her claims evidence her exceptional ineptitude or blatant, galling, willful deceit.

Consider her claims about Islam and America. She says, America is “indebted” to the Islamic civilization, whose “gifts are very much a part of our heritage.”

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson would agree, in that they commissioned merchant marines, the Marine Corp, and the Navy to defend America from Islamic invaders.

Consider her claims about the Ottoman Empire:

  • “When other nations were afraid of ideas, this civilization thrived on them, and kept them alive. When censors threatened to wipe out knowledge from past civilizations, this civilization kept the knowledge alive, and passed it on to others.” Censorship did exist, but under Suleiman’s rule and Islamic Shari’a law, which, is exactly what Islamists are seeking to reinstate
  • Under Suleiman three continents were “allowed a degree of peace and prosperity that had never been known.” And, the “Islamic world from the year 800 to 1600, which included the Ottoman Empire and the courts of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, and enlightened rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent … contributed to our notions of tolerance and civic leadership.” One need only read historical evidence of Suleiman’s numerous military conquests, whose methods are nearly identical to those of ISIS.
  • The Ottoman Empire “was driven more than anything, by invention. Its mathematicians created the algebra and algorithms that would enable the building of computers, and the creation of encryption.”
  • And: America’s technology industry “would not exist without the contributions of Arab mathematicians.”

The Spartans, Leon Battista Alberti, and Thomas Jefferson were the inventors of encryption; and they weren’t Islamists.

Charles Babbage, an English mathematician, philosopher, mechanical engineer, and scientist originated the concept of a programmable computer in 1822, which he built upon in 1837. He also designed a printer.

Centuries earlier, in 1597, Galileo invented and established a factory that constructed instruments to perform trigonometric calculations, multiplication and division, square and cube root, comparison of areas and volumes, currency exchange rates, monetary interest, and various military problems.

Neither Babbage nor Galileo were Islamists.

Where did Carly come up with this nonsense—from talking to Aladdin on a magical carpet ride? Her claims top even the mystical fantasies of The Arabian Nights.

For the truth, however, Islamabad writer Dr. Farrukh Saleem pointed out in 2005 indisputable facts about the Islamic world.

Today, the 57 Islamic countries are the world’s poorest and most illiterate:

  • The GDP of 57 Muslim countries is less than $2 trillion
  • Muslims comprise roughly 22 percent of the world’s population but only produce less than 5 percent of global GDP
  • 20 percent of Arabs live on less than $2 per day
  • The average growth rate of per capita income in the Arab world hovers around .5 percent per year [worse than everywhere else except for sub-Saharan Africa]
  • 60 percent of Muslims worldwide are illiterate
  • 50 percent of Arab women cannot read.

Dr. Javaid Laghari adds that 40 percent of the Muslim states’ population falls below the poverty line.

Today, the 57 Islamic countries contribute the least to scientific and technological advancement, let alone have computers or use the Internet. Saleem points out that over a period of more than 105 years, only two (2) Muslims won the Nobel Peace Prize. (They studied Physics and Chemistry in Italy, the U.K., and California). Only eight (8) Muslims are Nobel Laureates.

Shouldn’t a leader of Hewlett-Packard have known at the time of her speech that of the entire Arab population, only:

  • 1 percent has a personal computer—and;
  • .5 percent uses the Internet.

To reiterate the facts, the 57 Islamic countries are the world’s poorest, most illiterate, and contribute the least to scientific and technological advancement, let alone have computers or use the Internet.

Yet—this future—represented by the achievements of Islamic civilizations, is what Carly suggested should be America’s hope. Two weeks after 9/11.

A former CEO who “created a larger company with more debt,” laid off 30,000 employees, expanded Hewlett-Packard’s outsourcing while not offering a solution to reverse America’s trade deficit, pointed to poverty and illiteracy as the source of America’s hope.

Worse still, what business leader, or any leader for that matter, would point to the very civilization as an example of America’s hope, which had just attacked it two weeks earlier?

Politics, historical facts, and leadership aside, on the matter of “life and death,” which she mentions—for 9/11 survivors—like myself—or the few Christians who have survived genocide in 57 Islamic countries and violence throughout Europe, or kidnapped and trafficked little girls, Carly’s remarks could not be more offensive.

Perhaps she should move to Saudi Arabia where women are prohibited from driving; or Iran, where women are prohibited from working.

Her speech 14 years ago only reveals that Carly has been flying on a mystical magical carpet to nowhere for years.
