Scott Walker Drops Out Of Race. Oh And He’s A POS. Tries To Take Trump Out.

What a classless act Walker turned out to be. Not only did he drop out, but when doing so he say’s he wants others to do so because then they can take Trump out. Excuse me , but didn’t they all sign a loyalty pledge to support the eventual nominee? Here’s a refresher.

Republican Party Asks Candidates to Sign Loyalty Pledge

Responding to growing pressure from party donors and officials to dissuade Donald J. Trump from mounting an independent campaign for president, the Republican National Committee on Wednesday asked each of the party’s presidential candidates to sign a statement vowing not to run as a third-party candidate.

With little warning, committee officials called and emailed campaign representatives requesting that they put in writing what every candidate, except for Mr. Trump, has already pledged to do.

“I ______ affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for president of the United States, I will endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is,” the document, on R.N.C. letterhead, states. “I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.”

Maybe Trump Can pickup Walker’s 1 Whole freaken % of support. :)

Scott Walker Ends His 2016 Presidential Run

Updated, 9:59 p.m. | Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, whose early glow as a Republican presidential contender was snuffed out with the rise of anti-establishment rivals, announced Monday that he was quitting the race and urged some of his 15 rivals to do the same so the party could unite against the leading candidate, Donald J. Trump.

Mr. Walker’s pointed rebuke of Mr. Trump gave powerful voice to the private fears of many Republicans that the party risked alienating large parts of the electorate — Hispanics, women, immigrants, veterans, and most recently, Muslims — if Mr. Trump continued vilifying or mocking them as part of his overtures to angry and disaffected voters.

Still, Mr. Walker’s exit was not a selfless sacrifice: He was running low on campaign cash, sliding sharply in opinion polls, losing potential donors to rivals and unnerving supporters with a stream of gaffes, like saying he would consider building a wall along the Canadian border.

Appearing ashen and drained at a brief news conference late Monday in Madison, Mr. Walker said the Republican presidential field was too focused on “how bad things are” rather than on “how we can make them better for everyone.” Without naming Mr. Trump, Mr. Walker issued a plea to fellow candidates to coalesce around a different Republican who could offer a more “optimistic” vision and guide the party to a victory next year that, he admitted with sadness in his voice, he could not achieve himself.

“Today I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field in this race so that a positive, conservative message can rise to the top of the field,” Mr. Walker said. “With this in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately.

“I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same,” he said, “so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current front-runner.”

Good Bye Mister 1%

  1. Amazing isn’t it…. how true colors show given a little time. Trump took a lot of flack from the first debate when he honestly said he wouldn’t promise not to run independantly. LOL- we might not like a lot of things about Trump but when we compare him to the “politicians” he doesn’t smell so bad.

  2. I was a Scott Walker fan. However, compared to Trump and Carson he is way to main stream for me. Carly is no on my wish list for prez. All the other political types are also way to main stream for me. In fact just about everybody on the ticket leds to believe that they will bow to whatever the RHINO’s want and we do not need more McConnell’s and Boehner’s.

  3. Ma, I liked Walker, but the comments ticked me off. Then again I’m sure he was pressured into it.

    • I highly doubt he was pressured into it, he chose to be a total ass and in doing so, he lost any future support. Thanks for posting this Steve, a good one for sure…glad he’s gone, what a jerk.

  4. I talked to several people today who used to like Walker, now they detest him. What he said was unconscionable. But I’m really not surprised. Why? Because he’s tight with the phony rightwing, Council for National Policy and with American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) And ALEC is pushing a constitutional convention, and the write many of the laws for state legislatures, all promoted by their corporate members. Even the Church of Scientology belongs to ALEC…so thanks but no thanks to anything from Walker
