Bible vindicated by recent discovery of farming along Sea of Galilee 23,000 years ago

Fellowship of the Minds

Genesis 4:1-3 says: “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.”

Dr. Hugh Ross writes for Reasons to Believe, Sept. 10, 2015, that:

A continuing source of challenges to the Bible’s credibility and authority is the claim in Genesis 4 that the first humans were engaging in agriculture and soon thereafter even in metallurgy. Skeptics point out the complete lack of archeological evidence that humans previous to the Neolithic Revolution participated in any kind of agriculture or metalwork.

The Neolithic Era (néos is “new”; líthos is “stone”)…

The Rotten Fruits of Pope Francis: church schism, conservative rebellion, and approval of Iran nuke deal

Fellowship of the Minds

“By their fruit you will recognize them.” -Matthew 7:16

Rotten Fruit #1: culture war within church hierarchy

His papacy is only 2½ years old, and already Pope Francis has provoked a raging culture war within the Catholic Church.

Anthony Faiola reports for The Washington Post, Sept. 7, 2015, that rather than stake out clear stances, Francis is more subtly, often implicitly, backing liberal church leaders who are pressing for radical change, while dramatically opening the parameters of the debate over how far reforms can go. Since then, liberals have tested the boundaries of their new freedom, with one Belgian bishop going as far as calling for the Catholic Church to formally recognize same-sex couples.

In more than a dozen interviews, including with seven senior church officials, insiders say the change wrought by Francis “has left the hierarchy more polarized over the direction of the church than at any point…

Food Pets Die For by Ann Martin

ANN N. MARTIN is internationally recognized as an authority on the commercial pet food controversy. Since 1990, Martin has continued to investigate and to question exactly what goes into commercial pet food and to discover more unsavory practices of the pet food industry.

The original edition of Food Pets Die For: Shocking Facts About Pet Food, first published in 1997, was among the first books to expose the hazards of commercial pet food. Ms. Martin’s investigative reporting of the pet food industry was selected for special recognition as “one of the most censored news stories of 1997” by Sonoma State University’s Project Censored, which focuses on important news events that are largely ignored by mainstream media. Since then, she has been on numerous television and radio shows, internationally, discussing the problems with commercial pet foods and the great health advantages of cooking for your animal companions. Food Pets Die For has been translated into Japanese.

Is Abortion Murder? Jack Nicholson’s Response Silenced EVERYONE!

REPOSTED FROM THEPOLITICALINSIDER.COM

Jack Nicholson is 76 years old, and is a Hollywood legend. He has starred in at least 65 films since 1958. But unlike the rest of Hollywood, he is 100% anti-abortion in all cases, and for a VERY good reason.

As he explained in a classic interview, it was only due to the moral character of his grandmother and mother that kept him from being aborted.

In 1937 his mother was young – only 17 years old – and as a showgirl dancer, having a child would have been an incredible burden. Jack was raised by his maternal grandparents, John Nicholson and Ethel May. He believed they were his real parents until 1974, when he learned the truth after June Francis, his birth mother, died of cancer.

As he explained to Rolling Stone:

I’m very contra my constituency in terms of abortion because I’m positively against it. I don’t have the right to any other view. My only emotion is gratitude, literally, for my life.

This short statement is full of humility, wisdom, and courage. Note that he says, “I don’t have the right to any other view.” He has understood, thanks to the knowledge that his own life almost never happened, that life is a gift for which we should all feel gratitude. His willingness to vocally oppose abortion in the face of Hollywood and his own political party is inspiring and should be encouraged.

via Life News

Jack never learned who his father was, as only his mother and grandmother knew. The secret died with them.

Here is a picture of June Frances Nicholson, Jack’s mother:

Isn’t it tragic to think how close the world was to never knowing such a great Hollywood talent? I wonder who else we have lost thanks to the abortion movement.

Thank you Jack Nicholson for sharing your private story and speaking out in favor of life! Please share his story with friends on Facebook and Twitter!

Entrance Exam: What To Do When the Migrant Mobs Come Pounding on Your Country’s Door

By F. W. Burleigh FOR AMERICANTHINKER.COM

For Western countries now facing the onslaught of refugees from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and other unstable regions of the world, a simple test should be given to determine who is allowed in and who is not.

Call it the Koran test. It is a simple entrance exam that would be scored as either Pass or Fail, and it is inspired by a recent incident at a migrant shelter in Suhl, Germany.

In that incident, one of the migrants tore up a Koran and threw the pages into a toilet. When this was discovered, all hell broke loose. A group of migrants chased the perpetrator, and he would likely have been killed if it were not for the security forces that shielded him. When they could not get at him, the irate migrants armed themselves with steel bars and began showering guards and policemen with rocks. They kept at it for several more hours, smashing car windows, ransacking buildings, and tearing apart walls inside the shelter. The perpetrator is not identified, and for good reason. If his name were known, he might eventually be tracked down and killed.

Of all of these migrants, the only one that any sane country should allow into its borders is the one who tore up the Koran. Was this man Christian? Or perhaps an apostate, a Muslim who now believes that Islam is dangerous and the Koran a manual of hatred and intolerance?

With migrants from Islamic countries, what you see is what you get. They pour through undefended borders, often with a haughty attitude; they leave trash everywhere they go; they demand food and accommodations and special treatment. And all too frequently they get violent with each other and with anyone who doesn’t give them what they want.

Look at some of the recent examples. There is much more than the outbreak at the German migrant shelter. Here are extracts from recent reports:

From a Polish citizen at the border of Italy and Austria:

“Half an hour ago on the border between Italy and Austria I saw a huge crowd of immigrants. With all solidarity to people in difficult circumstances I have to say that what I saw arouses horror. This huge mass of people – sorry – but it’s an absolute wilderness … vulgar, throwing bottles, shouting, ‘We want Germany.’”

He continues:

“I saw an elderly Italian woman in a car that was surrounded by the immigrants. They pulled her by the hair out of the car and wanted to use it to go to Germany. They tried to topple the bus I was in. They threw feces at us, banging on the door for the driver to open it, spat on the glass. My question is - for what purpose? How do they want to assimilate in Germany? For a moment, I felt like in a war zone. I really feel sorry for these people, but if they would reach Poland – I do not think they would receive any understanding from us.”

From Breitbart:

“The Greek island of Lesbos has been turned into a war zone by rioting migrants, leaving the island’s 85,000 residents in despair. Around 25,000 migrants are currently camped out on the island with hundreds more arriving daily, leading to frequent violent clashes and rioting despite their claim to be fleeing violence.”

From The Telegraph:

“Illegal immigrants in Calais trying to reach Britain are becoming increasingly violent, forcing police to fire tear gas to disperse gangs as they attempt to storm lorry parks, officials have warned.”

Who needs people like that?

Adding to the problem is the likelihood ISIS militants, jihad wannabes, and other dangerous people have joined the migrant flow and claim to be refugees. ISIS has boasted of planting its people among the migrants. If they are not kept out, an epidemic of terror could soon rip across Europe. Even if the most dangerous among the migrants amounted to just one percent, that could mean thousands of potential terrorist among the hundreds of thousands or even a million people who are expected to flow into Europe this year.

And what of the remaining 99 percent? No matter where they rank on the scale of violence, the migrants who are Muslim bring with them what is destroying the countries from which they are fleeing. They bring their ablution and prayer routines and calls to prayer; they bring the belief the Koran is God’s word revealed to Muhammad; they bring the belief they must follow Muhammad’s example — his Sunna, which includes violence against those who reject Islam. They bring a disdain of man-made laws, and a reverence for “God’s” law, meaning Muhammad’s law. Even if most of them will never commit acts of violence, they bring the belief that Islam should dominate the world. The indoctrinated masses form the potting soil that Islamic terrorism grows out of. The ones who are eager to commit terror to advance their religion hide easily among them.

Any sane country would shut the door to Muslims. It will surely lead to the slow and painful death of one’s own society. The potential is already there in Europe with the Muslims previously allowed in, and if not stopped, this new influx of Muslim migrants might ensure Europe’s rapid cultural collapse. Because it won’t stop with this wave. Many more millions will come if the West is accommodating.

Say no to compassion. Say yes to self-preservation. Close the door to Muslims, but extend generosity to those deserving it — Christians and others who are persecuted by Islam. Such people can be counted on to integrate into the countries that accept them, and gratefully.

This takes us back to the Koran incident at the migrant shelter in Germany. Here is the entrance exam that a sane country should give to each and every one of these migrants: Take them one at a time into a room. Hand him – or her – a copy of the Koran and say, “Tear it up.”

If they refuse, send them back to where they came from. If they accept, roll out the welcome mat. And if they rip it apart gleefully, with vengeful élan, throw in refugee benefits as well.

In this day and age, it is the entrance exam that any country hoping to preserve itself should give.

Are Christians Making Kim Davis Their New Idol?

My comments: It’s running 5 to 1 in agreement with my article on another website. I am truly appalled at what Kim Davis, Huckabee, and Staver have done, and they all call themselves Christians. The 5 to 1 means the believers in Christ DO HAVE GREAT DISCERNMENT! Who will Kim Davis ever win to Christ? Certainly NOT any homosexuals, she has made them hate us. And in staying in her job, rather than resigning, she doesn’t remember the verses, BE YE SEPARATE, WHAT DOES THE LIGHT HAVE TO DO WITH DARKNESS, COME OUT OF HER, We are to be the salt and light…and when we point fingers at someone and scream SINNER, there are 3 fingers pointing back at us. Of course she probably doesn’t want to give up the 80K she’s allegedly making either.

I was never a Michele Bachman fan, but I give a lot of credit to her husband who works with homosexuals who wish to come out of the lifestyle, and he shows them true compassion and Christian love…that’s what Christ was all about…bringing them to Him…How sad it is that Kim Davis has made so many homosexuals hate Christ and Christians…it will not be easy to win them to Messiah Jesus, and out of their sin.

“Out of 100 men, one will read the Bible, the other 99 will read the Christian.” ― D.L. Moody

“Tens of thousands, perhaps millions, have come into some kind of religious experience by accepting Christ, and they have not been saved.” ~ A.W. Tozer

I’ve debated whether or not to write this article, and it’s probably not a good idea to put my thoughts about Kim Davis into words. Some of you will disagree with me, although several of my friends have said the same things I’ve been thinking. Something just doesn’t smell right to me with this whole scenario.

I’ve read countless articles stating that Kim Davis has finally stood up against the homosexual agenda, and that she was jailed for her beliefs. She was actually jailed for contempt of court. They also claimed she was jailed by a pro-homosexual judge, David Bunning (enthusiastically supported by Republican Mitch McConnell) who had previously ruled that children, in Boyd County, Kentucky school district, could not opt out of diversity education, even with a religious exemption. That decision was overturned because it “effectively forces the students to speak in agreement with the school district’s view that homosexuality is a safe and healthy lifestyle that cannot be changed.”

Kim Davis became a Christian four years ago. She is an elected democrat. She has been married four times and gave birth to her twins five months after she divorced the father of the twins. She’s been married to one husband twice, and he has adopted the twins.

The leader of Liberty Counsel, Mat Staver, who provided Davis’ legal representation, said, “Her past does not matter because her slate was wiped clean four years ago when she converted to Christianity.” Her sins are forgiven if she’s truly a Christian, but that doesn’t wipe your slate clean. There are consequences for sin, even when it happened before you became a believer.

Mat Staver, Council for National Policy (CNP) member, has been waiting for just this moment. (Please remember that the Council for National Policy is nothing more than the right arm of the Council on Foreign Relations). He is the former dean of Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University’s School of Law, where he has repeatedly urged officials to break the law when it comes to gay marriage. (Jerry Falwell was a charter member of the CNP). Kim Davis is the test case Staver’s been waiting for. Staver has focused public attention on his legal argument that Davis should be able to order her entire County Clerk’s office to follow her personal religious views, even in defiance of court orders. Staver also claims that LGBT rights lead to persecution of Christians. He equates this situation to the Holocaust and handing a Jewish person over to the Nazis. Davis has also been compared to Rosa Parks.

I certainly would beg to differ on both accounts. Kim Davis has a choice, unlike the Jews who were killed by the Nazis. Rosa Parks, who was so exhausted from work that she simply sat down where she could, and then refused to get back up and go to the back of the bus, was tired of being a second class citizen. Kim Davis could have resigned and left with her Christianity intact and without spending one minute in jail.

Several people said they thought she had the bravery of a new Christian…but after four years, she is not a “new” babe in Christ. My reaction was three-fold.

First, I was surprised that she didn’t just resign her post as the three women in Decatur County, Tennessee did. Link None of those women really drew the attention that Kim Davis drew nationwide, but they followed their Christian beliefs.

Second, I wondered what was happening in the country while our attention was being diverted to the Kim Davis debacle. President Obama was making up new laws and forcing us to pay for men wanting to become women and women wanting to become men, via Obamacare.

Obama also directed his administration to allow 10,000 Syrian refugees into America in the next fiscal year, all Muslim, and many who could be terrorists. Obama plans to resettle these refugees in Red States in order to dilute the Republic majority and drain the budgets of local governments. Link

To top it off, the DOD gave last minute notice to the FAA before going dark in five east coast states and off the shoreline from September 1st, to October 1st. Doesn’t that sound odd to you during the 14th anniversary of September 11, 2001?

Third, I wondered if the presidential candidates who came to her defense had any part in her decision (as a Democrat) to disobey the law? They basically all seemed to support her stance of religious freedom, other than a couple who felt she needed to obey the law or resign. Link Mike Huckabee, a losing presidential candidate, wasted precious few moments before slotting a penitentiary visit into his schedule. The former Arkansas governor visited Davis to express displeasure at what he terms “the criminalization of Christianity in our country.” Huckabee applied more legal analysis, too: “What a world, where Hillary Clinton isn’t in jail but Kim Davis is.”

I could go into why I distrust pro-Constitutional Convention Huckabee, but that would be another entire article. My guess is that this entire situation will result in a book deal for Kim Davis.

I know that Kim Davis asked for her name to be removed from the licenses and this was denied because it would have to be changed by the state legislature who is not in session until next January. As well, Kentucky state law states marriage is between a man and a woman, but apparently that no longer counts with the Supreme Court decision. Just as in Roe vs. Wade, state law was apparently overturned once Obergefell v. Hodges decision came down.

As an elected official, Davis cannot be fired, but she can be impeached. Davis’ impeachment would have to wait until the Legislature’s regular session set for next year or a costly special session. On her part, Davis says she will not resign.

A friend of mine suggested that Kim Davis should run for congress in 2016. He said, “Seriously! Look at the publicity she could capitalize on. She should resign her county position at this time and simultaneously announce her candidacy for U.S. Congress in her home district in 2016. The timing is perfect. She could probably beat the incumbent no matter who he or she is!”

Conclusion

Many of my constant readers will probably be angry at me for taking this stance. However, there is something that tells me this was a planned situation, especially since Staver and Huckabee are involved…it’s that little voice that says…”Uh-oh, something isn’t right here.”

Yes, there is a war against our Judeo-Christian society, and no one seems to really be paying attention. Why? Because the pulpits of America are silent. What did Rev. Finney say in the 1800s?

“If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.” —Rev. Charles Finney, 1792-1875

From Matt Walsh’s blog:

The Bible is clear. We are to put on the full armor of God and having done all to Stand. That means to stand for righteousness. Jesus condemned. He denounced. He caused trouble. He disrupted the established order. On one occasion — or at least one recorded occasion — He used violence. This Jesus saw the money changers in the temple and how did He respond? He wasn’t polite about it. I’d even say He was downright intolerant. He fashioned a whip (this is what the lawyers would call ‘premeditation’) and physically drove the merchants away. He turned over tables and shouted. He caused a scene. [John 2:15] Link

But Jesus never joined with the government. He said, ” Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s..” Luke 20:23-25

Do I believe there is a war against Christianity? Yes, I do. I believe that war will succeed because the pulpits are not doing their jobs today. We have 2,000 to 4,000 babies being murdered in their mother’s wombs every day, and then their little bodies and parts sold for profit, and the pulpits are silent. There is no real outcry from the pulpits…no marching in the streets.

Kim Davis, a Democrat, claims she is a Christian, but is working for the government who promotes these atrocities, and despite the first amendment of the Bill of Rights which protects her Christian freedoms, this government has trampled those freedoms. The judiciary (Supreme Court) does not make law, but has affirmed law in this case. Unless the states wish to nullify this law through their legislatures, it will remain the law of the land. We all know the states love federal money and will not change the law unless there is a massive outcry from the citizenry, which I don’t expect to happen. Thus, those Christians who wish to continue working for the government either have to abide by the law, or resign their positions.

Do I support Kim Davis’s stance? Actually, no, I don’t, and I’m not going to bewail how Christians are being put upon. Had I been Kim Davis, I’d have resigned rather than making myself a public spectacle. And yes, I’ll probably get a some negative mail from this article.

Obama Resettling Refugees in Republican States

REPOSTED FROM TEAPARTY.ORG

Nearly 80% of states receiving most refugees have GOP upper house majorities

The Obama administration is mainly resettling migrants in Republican-controlled states, according to analysis.

Of the 19 states that took in the most refugees per capita in 2013 and 2014, 15 have upper house legislatures dominated by Republicans, a percentage of nearly 80%.

In comparison, only three of the 19 states are Democratic and another state, Nebraska, has a nonpartisan legislature but is considered a ‘red state’ in presidential elections.

Overall, Republican-controlled states (upper house majorities) represent 62% of the country but 79% of the top states for refugees whereas Democratic-controlled states represent 24% of the country but only 16% of the states taking in the most migrants.

091115redstates
States where Republicans control the upper house legislature.

Nearly 42% of Democratic states resettle the fewest refugees in comparison to 29% of Republican states.

The analysis was made by comparing a map of the U.S. state legislative upper house majorities as of 2015 to data released by the Office of Refugee Resettlement compiled by the Washington Post.

The results from the analysis aren’t surprising considering the Obama administration announced the White House Task Force on New Americans program in 2014 to convert recent migrants and refugees into “new Americans” with full voting rights.

“Critics say the program is not as much about creating ‘new Americans’ as it is about creating new ‘voters’ who will help re-elect Democrats and institutionalize Obama’s policies on immigration, education and healthcare for years to come,” Leo Hohmann of WND reported. “…The ‘welcoming’ mantra has been running hot within the Obama administration for several years and culminated with a report released April 17 by his White House Task Force on New Americans.”

“Obama formed the special task force Nov. 21, 2014, when he announced his controversial executive actions to unilaterally grant amnesty to some 5 million illegal aliens; his administration is also bringing in 70,000 foreign refugees per year from Iraq, Somalia, Bhutan, Burma, Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and, most recently, Syria.”

Saudi Arabia, building 200 mosques will not help the refugee crisis

REPOSTED FROM THE EXPRESS TRIBUNE BLOG

Duisburg opened the largest mosque in Germany. PHOTO: REUTERS

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in all its benevolent wisdom, has come to the aid of the Middle Eastern refugees lining up on the gates of Germany, by offering to build 200 mosques in the European nation. Yes, this is exactly what these traumatised people need after losing their homes, resources, family members, dignity, and mental and physical well-being – mosques.

Indeed, for those so inclined, it is important for pious refugees to have a place to practice faith, especially in a foreign land where religion can help them feel grounded, but only after achieving stability in their lives. For Saudi Arabia to offer to build 200 mosques in Germany to help the refugee crisis would be like throwing pages of scripture at the survivors of a sinking ship.

Saudi Arabia has always had a naked hunger to spread Wahhabism throughout the world. Their ultraconservative interpretation of Islam, taught in Saudi sponsored mosques, has infected Pakistan like a slow spreading virus. Here are some interesting excerpts from Frontline on Public Broadcasting Service (PBS):

“Many of the Taliban were educated in Saudi-financed madrassas in Pakistan that teach Wahhabism, a particularly austere and rigid form of Islam which is rooted in Saudi Arabia. Around the world, Saudi wealth and charities contributed to an explosive growth of madrassas during the Afghan jihad against the Soviets. During that war (1979-1989), a new kind of madrassa emerged in the Pakistan-Afghanistan region – not so much concerned about scholarship as making war on infidels.

It’s Saudi Arabia and its network of charities and the like. The argument I make is that there is an undercurrent of terror and fanaticism that go hand in hand in the Afghanistan-Pakistan arc, and extend all the way to Uzbekistan. And you can see reflections of it in Bosnia, in Kosovo, in Indonesia, in the Philippines.

For instance, in one madrassa in Pakistan, I interviewed 70 Malaysian and Thai students who are being educated side by side with students who went on to the Afghan war and the like. These people return to their countries, and then we see the results in a short while. At best, they become hot-headed preachers in mosques that encourage fighting Christians in Nigeria or in Indonesia. And in a worst case, they actually recruit or participate in terror acts.”

Wahhabism not only gave rise to the Taliban, but something far worse than anyone could have ever imagined. A group so dark it even scared al Qaeda.

“On the one hand, ISIS is deeply Wahhabist. On the other hand, it is ultra-radical in a different way. It could be seen essentially as a corrective movement to contemporary Wahhabism.

ISIS is a ‘post-Medina’ movement, it looks to the actions of the first two Caliphs, rather than the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself, as a source of emulation, and it forcefully denies the Saudis’ claim of authority to rule.”

Saudi Arabia probably doesn’t have the audacity to spread Wahhabism through its mosques in Europe. After all, Germany has a very different relationship with Saudi Arabia than Pakistan. While Germany can dictate terms to them, we on the other hand treat Saudi Arabia like the uncle whom we don’t protest against even though he molested us in childhood, because he’s rich.

It would also be something of a sick irony for the Syrian refugees to pray in Wahhabi Arabia’s mosques when many of them have suffered so deeply at the hands of ISIS.

But for argument’s sake, let’s accept Saudi Arabia’s intentions as pure.

This raises another question.

While Saudi Arabia is so eager to build 200 mosques in Europe, how many official churches, temples, and synagogues does it boast?

What’s that? Zero?

As this Islamic theocratic monarchy tries to add to religious diversity in Europe, it itself carries none. The Saudi Grand Mufti, the nice tolerant person that he is, issues statements which could be mistaken for quotes from ISIS sermons,

“The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia has said that all churches in the Arabian Peninsula must be destroyed. The statement prompted anger and dismay from Christians throughout the Middle East.”

Meanwhile, the country which intends to build 200 mosques in Europe persecutes non-Wahhabis on its own soil,

“Islamist police in Saudi Arabia have stormed a Christian prayer meeting and arrested its entire congregation, including women and children, and confiscated their bibles, it has been reported.

The raid was the latest incident of a swinging crackdown on religious minorities in Saudi Arabia by the country’s hard-line Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

The 28 Christians were said to be worshipping at the home of an Indian national in the eastern city of Khafji, when the police entered the building and took them into custody. They have not been seen or heard from since, raising concerns among human rights groups as to their whereabouts.”

Major religions aside, there is little freedom to practice different versions of Islam other than what Saudi Arabia preaches,

“No law specifically requires all citizens to be Muslims, but non-Muslim and many foreign and Saudi national Muslims whose beliefs are deemed not to conform with the government’s interpretation of Islam must practice their religion in private and are vulnerable to discrimination, harassment, detention and, for non-citizens, deportation.

Shia’s face systematic and pervasive official and legal discrimination (in Saudi Arabia), including in education, employment, the military, housing, political representation, the judiciary, religious practice, and media.”

The penalty for those converting to another religion seems a little permanent.

“…Conversion from Islam to another religion is considered apostasy and punishable by death.”

Here is how this champion for religious freedom in Germany has been making headlines recently.

  1. A Saudi court ruled that a local TV preacher accused of raping and murdering his five-year-old daughter was only guilty of being a harsh disciplinarian.
  2. A Saudi diplomat and his Saudi friends were accused of torturing, enslaving, and gang-raping two Nepali women working in the diplomat’s apartment in India for months.

NDTV reports,

“They are a family of six… The mother and older daughter would beat us. They used to be sent outside and then the men would rape us. We would scream and cry, then they used knives,” said one of the women.

“They raped us, kept us locked up, did not give us anything to eat.”

The other woman, 30, said she was stripped, raped and brutalised by “a lot of men who would keep coming to the flat, whose language we never understood.”

Indian Express explains that it was as many as eight men at a time,

“There were days when seven to eight men — all from Saudi Arabia — would assault us. If we resisted, the diplomat and his family would threaten to kill us and dispose of our bodies in the sewer.”

Reportedly, the diplomat shifted from his apartment to the embassy. At worse, he will be expelled to his home nation. This Saudi probably had the audacity to commit such a crime because it is how foreign maids are treated in Saudi Arabia. They are raped, tortured, enslaved, and often pinned for legal offenses they didn’t commit. If they fight back and kill their assailants, they end up on death row.

  1. Saudi Arabia this week banned the latest copy of National Geographic within their borders because it showcased Pope Francis.

“The cover story addresses Pope Francis’ reforms and his hope to create a church ‘that is poor and for the poor’. From his bold pronouncements on climate change and divorce, to his recent call for parishes to take in refugees, some see the current Pope as a (relative) revolutionary.”

Why is Saudi Arabia so threatened by this issue? Is it because Pope Francis preaches simplicity, while the ruling class of Saudi Arabia swims in more grotesque excess than Caligula? Or is it because Pope Francis called upon Catholics to take in refugee families while Saudi Arabia’s elite searches for more vulnerable maids from impoverished backgrounds to take advantage of?

  1. As reported by infowars.com, Saudi Arabia has taken in zero refugees, even though it could easily house three million people in 100,000 air-conditioned tents which are unused other than the five days of Hajj season each year.
  • The Economist explains how Saudi Arabia has escalated its war campaign in Yemen. There are reportedly 5,000 dead, leaving Yemen to face a humanitarian crisis. But these refugees need not worry; Saudi Arabia will surely build them a few hundred mosques soon.

  • It is now becoming increasingly evident that the Saudi monarchy is a family business, Wahhabism was concocted by their marketing department, and their sponsored mosques are franchise outlets. Certainly, the profit margins have been killer.
