There is a new epidemic, a disease that no one has ever heard of, which may cause a terrible birth defect that few people have heard of. Nevertheless, this new disease quickly has become a health emergency on a par with Ebola, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
The disease is caused by the Zika virus — a mosquito-borne disease that, like Ebola, originated in Africa, but is rapidly spreading in Latin America.
Symptoms

Tucked into the 1,300-page federal highway bill, ‘Fixing America’s Surface Transportation’ Act, or FAST Act, that passed at the end of 2015, Congress quietly advanced several corridors of the NAFTA superhighway system, like Interstate-11. The interstate will connect Phoenix to Las Vegas and will ultimately run from Nogales, Arizona to northeast Washington State, establishing key trade corridors from Mexico to Canada.
The FAST Act is the first long-term highway bill to pass in over a decade, but it failed to enact any major reforms, failed to shore-up the funding shortfall in the federal highway program, and keeps most federal programs, like the NAFTA superhighways, euphemistically called high priority corridors, on auto-pilot for the next 5 years quietly eluding public scrutiny, while advancing the establishment’s global trade agenda.
There are 12 highway segments added as high priority corridors within the FAST Act. I-11 is the Intermountain West Corridor that’s part of the western offshoot of a primary set of NAFTA corridors known as CANAMEX. The FAST Act also added one from Raleigh, North Carolina to Norfolk, Virginia, and others like the Sonoran Corridor connecting two interstates south of the Tuscon Airport, a corridor from Denver, Colorado to Salt Lake City, Utah, a corridor connecting Interstate-81 at the intersection of Interstate-86 in New York to the border with Canada, and another called the Central Texas Corridor from I-10 following Route 190 eastward to Highway 63 at the Sabine River Bridge at Burrs Crossing. Most of these high priority corridors represent just one segment of a larger North American trade corridor system that ultimately connects trade hubs and ports in the United States with trade hubs and ports in Mexico and Canada.
Both the Central Texas Corridor and the Intermountain West Corridor also achieved interstate status in the bill, with the Central Texas Corridor officially designated as Interstate-14 and the Intermountain West Corridor as Interstate-11. This designation qualifies these corridors for federal grants – essentially taxpayer dollars – they couldn’t otherwise access, including intelligent transportation system grants to track commercial vehicles.
The original purpose of the NAFTA superhighway trade corridor and toll road system was to facilitate the movement of people and goods between Mexico, the United States, and Canada as an extension of the NAFTA free trade agreement, originally championed by presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Mexican trade was quickly supplanted by global trade and the massive influx of cheap Chinese goods coming into the United States (and eventually Canada) through the deep water port of Lazaro Cardenas in Mexico. It’s one of the driving forces behind these congressionally designated high priority corridors, necessitating the tracking of commercial goods. Now global companies will have access to taxpayer funds to facilitate their private business deals.
The bill requires the technology to be ‘interoperable’ so that all the data and tracking can be harvested and followed by one federally-approved central system. Even the research, development, and maintenance costs of the private carriers can be offset by taxpayer funds, according to the FAST Act.
U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer of California, who is the ranking member and former Chair of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee that authored the Senate version of the bill, directly connected the Intermountain West Corridor to international trade in a meeting with the I-11 Coalition last May. Senator Harry Reid along with other influential senators, like John McCain and Jeff Flake, are also big supporters of I-11. So, it should come as no surprise that I-11 made its way into the final highway bill.
For the first time, a transportation bill also enshrines into federal law a National Multimodal Freight Policy, a Strategic Freight Plan, as well as a National Highway Freight Program with access to $6.3 billion for freight projects on the National Highway Freight Network. The plan actually requires controversial ‘innovative financing’ methods like public-private partnerships akin to corporate welfare that socializes private entities’ losses, while privatizing the profits. The movement of freight is not confined to railroad tracks but also encompasses trucking and the movement of goods across highways from intermodal hubs. So, freight programs will now compete for scarce highway funds along with rail and transit programs that were expanded in the FAST Act.
Instead of reversing the diversion of gas tax funded highway dollars, the FAST Act dilutes highway funds even more – requiring few options, including an unpopular increase in the gas tax and a greater reliance on toll roads and the use of more general revenue financing.
This linkage of the so-called high priority corridors with ‘international trade’ gives meaning and credence to the long developing NAFTA Superhighway trade corridor and toll road system, which in a few short decades to come will ultimately lead to the economic and political integration of the U.S., Canada and Mexico, better understood by the grassroots as the North American Union, jeopardizing American sovereignty and independence.
Such NAFTA international trade has all but destroyed the American manufacturing base, it threatens U.S. jobs and has contributed to stagnant wages since its inception in 1992. So the funding and expansion of the NAFTA trade corridors coupled with the porous southern border create another source of angst for American voters as they weigh the current presidential contenders.
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump addresses the border as well as the loss in American jobs and wages dubbing them ‘bad deals,’ which has catapulted him to frontrunner status in the Republican field. In the meantime, former Texas Governor Rick Perry, notorious for his failed attempt to ram the Trans-Texas Corridor through the state – a multimodal feeder system connecting Mexican ports with U.S. and Canadian trade hubs – has endorsed Senator Ted Cruz, separating the popular nationalist candidate from his internationalist rival for president.
The economic drain from the McConnell-Ryan boost global trade has received with passage of the FAST Act by a Republican Congress will continue to adversely affect American jobs and wages, until a president and a new Congress take firm steps to reverse it. Americans cannot afford to sit on the sidelines and wait for help to arrive. Voters must make it a major campaign issue across the board. They must hold incumbents accountable for their coziness with the special interests pushing for such giveaways and taxpayer subsidies at the end of a congressional session like those inserted into the FAST Act, with rushed House and Senate passage on December 3rd just ahead of Christmas recess. The FAST Act was signed by President Obama on Friday, December 4, becoming Public Law 114-94.
In recent years, there has been a growing awareness fact that the United States imprisons a far larger percentage of its population than many other nations. Much of this is due to the fact that what we call crime in the US is often not an imprisonable offense in the EU nations.In the US, for example, a prison term is commonly employed for small-time drug offenders. According a study done by the Vera Institute of Justice, such sentences are rarely used for drug offenses in Germany and the Netherlands.
This is even true of more serious crimes. The report notes:
In most cases — even for relatively serious crimes such as burglary, aggravated assault, or other crimes considered felonies in the United States — prosecutors divert offenders away from prosecution or judges sanction offenders with fines, suspended sentences, or community service. In both the Netherlands and Germany, fines are used extensively as a primary sanction.
This reflects a basic difference in sentencing in the US. In the US, imprisonment is the primary sanction in many cases, leading to an unusually large prison population:
Jurisdictions across the U.S. and around the world grapple with the same basic questions regarding the role of punishment in their criminal justice systems: Who should be punished? How should offenders be punished? Under what conditions? For how long? By no means are these questions answered uniformly. Within the U.S., the rate of incarceration and the proportion of offenders sentenced to prison and community supervision differ from state to state. Indeed, the rate of imprisonment in state prison in the U.S. ranges from 147 per 100,000 residents in Maine to 865 per 100,000 residents in Louisiana. The overall imprisonment rate in the United States, including the jail and federal population, is 716 per 100,000 residents. The comparison to European rates is startling: 79 per 100,000 residents in Germany and 82 per 100,000 residents in the Netherlands are in prison.
The use and sale of prohibited narcotics makes up a majority of the US’s prison population. If we include immigration offenses and the category of extortion, fraud, and bribery, the non-violent prison population is almost 68 percent of all inmates and, therefore, nearly 68 percent of all individuals with a criminal record. Further non-violent offenses are buried in the remaining categories such as “other,” which includes a broad range of imprisonable offenses such as not paying the tag tax on your automobile or getting lost in a snowstorm.

Does the Extensive Use of Prison Increase Violence?
Despite the formal sentence handed down by a judge, a prison sentence is a life sentence. The simple fact is that being branded a criminal cuts off individuals from nearly all forms of employment opportunities. Non-violent offenses average between three to five years combined with prison and supervised parole. Even if employers ignored a person’s prior prison history in hiring decisions, the length of time absent from the workforce is significant, while the lost income during incarceration is frequently insurmountable. Being a guest of the State often carries an added sentence of perpetual state-induced poverty.
Prison itself is a dehumanizing experience. Confining people in degrading conditions generates a different attitude and behavior. Because of the philosophy of isolation as a means of punishment, individuals exposed to that environment develop behavioral patterns and mentalities vastly different from those necessary to function in civil society. These individuals are then thrown back into the general public or transitioned through ineffectual halfway homes where the social network of former inmates continues to be dominated by other unemployed ex-cons.
Indeed, both inside and outside prison walls, convicted criminals who are unable to find employment often end up spending their prime years learning new criminal trades and behaviors that only perpetuate criminal behavior.
In turn, this has led to a phenomenon in which we find an enormous correlation between having a criminal past and being a victim of homicide.
Statistics in several major metropolitan areas, including Milwaukee, Baltimore, and Newark, have shown a clear connection between the two. According to USA Today:
In Milwaukee, local leaders created the homicide commission after a spike in violence led to a 39% increase in murders in 2005. The group compiled statistics on victims’ criminal histories for the first time and found that 77% of homicide victims in the past two years had an average of nearly 12 arrests. … Philadelphia also has seen the number of victims with criminal pasts inch up — to 75% this year from 71% in 2005. … In Newark … roughly 85% of victims killed in the first six months of this year had criminal records, on par with the percentage in 2005 but up from 81% last year, police statistics show.
A Connection Between Incarceration and Homicide?
So, does the cycle of imprisonment and impoverishment actually lead to more serious crime? Given the economic impacts of a prison sentence, and thus the increased likelihood that one will continue to associate with others who have criminal records, it’s plausible that extensive use of prisons for so many offenses encourages the formation of violent social enclaves outside of prison.
This in turn leads us to the fact that a disproportionate number of homicide victims have criminal records.
In fact, if we look for a connection between incarceration rates and homicide rates in US states and European countries, we find a clear correlation (x and y axes: n per 100,000):
Making comparisons between countries and states on homicide is very problematic, and any number of factorscan be at play. It’s difficult to show clear connections between homicides and other factors, such as gun ownership. Moreover, one might be tempted to claim that incarceration rates are higher because Americans are more violent due to some other outside factors. However, given the prevalence of criminal records among homicide victims, and the American propensity to create large numbers of people who have spent time in prison, it may be worth a second look at how our immense prison population may be a contributing factor to overall violent criminal activity. It may be just another example of one of the state’s efforts to “protect” us gone wrong.
Norwegian Army Chief Odin Johannessen warns that European countries must be ready and willing to fight against radical Islam in order to preserve the values that unite the continent.
“I think we must be ready to fight, both with words, actions – and if necessary weapons – to preserve the country and the values we have in common,” Johannessen said in a speech to the Oslo Military Society on Monday.
Citing the Islamist attacks in Paris, Johannessen said that, “Europe can no longer expect to live in peace and security, without having to defend its interests and values.”
The military chief went on to insist that well trained and adequately equipped soldiers would be crucial.
“You can not win wars without having people on the ground,” he asserted.
Johannessen’s remarks mirror similar sentiments expressed by other military officials in Europe.
In an internal document uncovered last week, the chief of the Swedish army General Anders Brännström ordered his troops to prepare for a war in Europe against skilled opponents “within a few years”.
“The global environment we are experiencing which is also demonstrated by strategic decisions [taken by politicians] leads us to the conclusion we could be at war within a few years,” wrote Brännström.
Back in December, Swiss army chief André Blattmann warned that the risk of social unrest in Europe was intensifying and that citizens should arm themselves.
“The threat of terror is rising, hybrid wars are being fought around the globe; the economic outlook is gloomy and the resulting migration flows of displaced persons and refugees have assumed unforeseen dimensions,” said Blattmann.
Top security experts in Germany also told Chancellor Angela Merkellast October that the middle class was becoming “radicalized” as a result of her open borders migrant policy and that domestic disorder could ensue as a result.
Sales of firearms and other weaponry have been surging in countries likeGermanyand Austriaas reports of violent attacks being perpetrated by migrants continue to increase.
Meanwhile, in France, security forces have been making preparations for mass civil unrest and radicalized immigrants taking over entire neighborhoods.
The French Army is making contingency plans for the “reappropriation of national territory,” winning back areas of cities, in the event of immigrant populations obtaining weapons and becoming openly hostile to authorities.
When social order breaks down, most critically the rule of law, some people will inevitably take matters into their own hands. They will find themselves forced into a situation in which a decision must be made between defensive action, submission or flight. Anger or a desire for justice may take over. That is what appears to now be happening in Stockholm, Sweden. Average people are rising up, filling the vacuum left by the overwhelmed police and an unresponsive system. Faced with an explosion in immigrant numbers and the associated levels of crime, the people react.
On Friday evening a group of Swedish citizens estimated at 200 took to the Stockholm train station, targeting and sending a strong message to the Merkel invaders. They’ve had enough. The actions were triggered in part by the recent murderous attack by what is called a “Somali teen” upon a Swedish aid worker, Alexandra Mezher. She was stabbed to death while attempting to break up a fight between two “migrant boys” at an asylum center. One look at the accused offender, Youssaf Khalif Nuur, shows he’s no 15-year-old. He’s a man, at least physically.
The vigilantes, clad in all black, including balaclavas and black arm bands, had distributed leaflets in the train station thirty minutes prior to the hostilities breaking out with messages that expressed their outrage and their determination that the misbehavior would no longer be tolerated.
The leaflets distributed by the vigilante group clearly stated the problem and their determination to correct it. They read:
“All over the country, reports are pouring in that the police can no longer cope with preventing and investigating the crimes which strike the Swedish people.
In some cases, for example, in the latest murder of a woman employed at a home for so called ‘unaccompanied minor refugees’ in Molndal, it goes as far as the National Police Commissioner choosing to show more sympathy for the perpetrator than the victim.
But we refuse to accept the repeated assaults and harassment against Swedish women.
We refuse to accept the destruction of our once safe society. When our political leadership and police show more sympathy for murderers than for their victims, there are no longer any excuses to let it happen without protest.
When Swedish streets are no longer safe to walk on for normal Swedes, it is our DUTY to fix the problem.
This is why, today, 200 Swedish men gathered to take a stand against the North African ‘street children’ who are running rampage in and around the capital’s central station.
Police have clearly showed that they lack the means to stop their progress and we see no other way than to hand down the punishment they deserve ourselves.
The justice system has walked out and the contract of society is therefore broken – it is now every Swedish man’s duty to defend out public space against the imported criminality.
Those who gathered today are neither your politician, your journalist or your policeman. We are your father, your brother, your husband, your colleague, your friend and your neighbor.
Swedish men and women deserve safety in their everyday life and we are therefore calling on all others who also see the problem to follow in our footsteps, both in Stockholm and in other places around the country. For a better future together.
Stockholm police estimate a minimum of 200 Moroccan street children roam the area which includes the train station surviving off of criminal activity. The all-male street gangs engage in assaults of every kind and thefts, with the groping of girls and women being one of their trademark offenses.
Whether in Cologne or Stockholm the problem is the same and one that was completely avoidable. The liberal Swedish government sought it out and invited it into their midst.
A Mayor in the German town of Bad Schlema prompted fury when he responded to a grandfather’s concern about young girls being sexually harassed by migrants by responding; “don’t provoke them”.
The exchange occurred during a raucous municipal council meeting last week which ended with residents demanding the Mayor step down over his comments.
With public opinion on the 1.1 million migrants Germany has taken in over the last year souring after the mass molestation of women in Cologne, a grandfather stood up at the council meeting to ask Mayor Jens Müller, of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union party, whether measures would be taken to stop the harassment.
“I have a question regarding the school… about Physical education in the school gym”, the man stated . “My Granddaughter, she’s under ten — and it’s also happened in a nearby town, that’s right — the girls have been harassed by the refugee ‘children’, the ‘asylum seekers’.”
“They get harassed from the windows [of the shelter] and things like that. How will this be in the summer? When the School girls wear less clothing?” he asked.
“That’s easy; just don’t provoke them and don’t walk in these areas”, the Mayor responded.
The rest of the attendees immediately began booing, but the Mayor subsequently doubled down on his idiocy, suggesting that Germans were equally to blame when he commented, “Do you think this [sexual harassment] doesn’t exist among Germans”.
“You’re not allowed to walk in your own city anymore. Go home, boy. Who the hell elected you,” shouted the grandfather. “The migrants come here and we’re not allowed to walk here any more!”
Another woman called for the Mayor to step down as the crowd became increasingly more irate, leading Müller to threaten to call the police and “evacuate” the building.
“It seems that the mood has shifted,” Müller subsequently acknowledged, labeling the incident “scary”.
As we reported back in September last year, schools in German have been sending letters to parents asking them not to let young girls wear shorts or short skirts so as not to provoke “attacks” by migrants staying in nearby “refugee” centers.
One wonders what the next piece of advice German officials will suggest in order to prevent sexual attacks – maybe telling parents to dress their children in a full Burka?
The Mayor’s comments are outrageous but are nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to how some prominent German officials have responded to criticism.
German Interior Minister Ralf Jaeger asserted that conservatives who criticized the wave of migrants flooding into the country on Internet chat rooms were “just as awful” as the migrants who sexually molested women in Cologne.
Last month, feminists in Cologne respondedto the mass molestation by predominantly Muslim migrants that occurred on New Year’s Eve by visiting the city’s largest refugee center and handing out roses as a “gesture against xenophobia”.

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America . The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.
One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.
Consequently, if you see that all of this wonderful government “help” is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to share this with your friends.
If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably not share this.

Official state rules call for flip to end the impasses
While it was hard to call a winner between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders last night, it’s easy to say who was luckier.
The race between the Democrat presidential hopefuls was so tight in the Iowa caucus Monday that in at least six precincts, the decision on awarding a county delegate came down to a coin toss. And Clinton won all six, media reports said.

The situation came about in precincts where Sanders and Clinton were running neck-and-neck, but there were an odd number of delegates, so they couldn’t be evenly split between the two. That was the case in precincts in Ames, Newton, West Branch, Davenport and two in Des Moines, the Des Moines Register reported.
While it may seem a chancy way to break a deadlock, official state rules lay out the procedure. Iowa’s Democratic caucus guide says: “Note: In a case where two or more preference groups are tied for the loss of a delegate, a coin shall be tossed to determine who loses the delegate,” the Independent newspaper pointed out.
But it still prompted some tongue-in-cheek reaction on social media:

As many pointed out, these were county caucus deciders, not for the state. “These ties are not for statewide delegate equivalents. They are for county delegates. Those are different, and not nearly as big a deal,” noted Harry Enten on the FiveThirtyEight blog.
As for that statewide Democratic race, it was too close to call for most of the night. Clinton declared victory early Tuesday morning, with all but one of the Iowa precincts reporting, with 49.9% of the delegates to the state convention. “Thursday Night Football” will bounce around among CBS, NBC and NFL Network next season, and league executives are confident fans will find the games just fine.
The appeal for the NFL is that its new deals add another network — not to mention all of NBCUniversal’s other channels — to promote the package as Americans get into the habit of watching football on Thursdays.
The money is enticing, too.
The contracts are worth $450 million a year for the 10 games split between CBS and NBC, a person familiar with the details told The Associated Press on Monday. CBS paid $300 million for eight games in 2015.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the terms were not made public.
CBS will air five games early in the season, while NBC will have five late in the season in 2016 and ’17 as part of the two-year agreements — increasing by two the number on traditional broadcast TV. Those will still be simulcast on NFL Network, which will also have eight exclusive matchups again.
The exact schedule has yet to be determined. NBC said its first game would be in Week 11 on Nov. 17.
Brian Rolapp, the league’s executive vice president for media, said the NFL Network-only matchups would be interspersed among the CBS and NBC games. He believes that will boost the viewership for the games solely on the cable channel because the broadcast networks can promote them to their larger audiences in the previous weeks.
Rolapp noted that when a playoff game was simulcast on ESPN and ABC for the first time this season, most viewers tuned into ABC and the total audience increased from the previous year’s ESPN-only telecast — even though ABC had not aired the NFL in more than a decade. He figures that as fans know to look for games on Thursday nights, they’ll be able to find them no matter which network broadcasts them. The main challenge is to make sure they know to look for games on Thursdays.
“It takes awhile to build a franchise and condition fans to know it’s there,” Rolapp said.
They’ve been watching in large numbers already — at least compared to everything except the NFL. The eight CBS Thursday night games in 2015 averaged 16.1 million viewers in prime time. That’s a big bump from CBS’s average prime-time audience for the entire 2014-15 TV season of about 11.3 million — which is No. 1 among the networks.
Then again, “Sunday Night Football” on NBC averages 22.5 million viewers, a reminder of just how big an audience the NFL can draw.
“Frankly, our goal — and what the NFL has challenged us with — is to grow the numbers,” NBC Sports Group Chairman Mark Lazarus said.
He expects NBC’s younger audience will contribute to that. While CBS is the most-watched network overall, NBC leads in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults ages 18-49.
Lazarus said he wasn’t concerned about the quality of play on Thursday nights, with players and coaches complaining they don’t have enough time to recover and prepare. He believes the caliber of football will keep improving as teams become more accustomed to playing on Thursday once a season.
NBC will still air the Thursday night season opener and its Thanksgiving prime-time game. NFL Network will televise some late-season Saturday games along with its Thursday matchups.
The league is also negotiating with digital companies for a separate “over the top” streaming rights deal for Thursday nights, which will be announced soon. That will make the games available to anyone with an Internet connection even if they don’t own a TV.
The NFL launched “Thursday Night Football” on NFL Network in 2006 with eight games, which grew to 13 by 2012. In 2014, the league partnered with CBS for a 16-game slate — half simulcast on CBS and NFL Network and half solely on NFL Network, with CBS producing all the games with its top announcing team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. CBS received the rights again for 2015.
NBC will use its top announcing team of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth for its games, as well. CBS and NBC will also split producing the NFL Network-only games.
For NBC, Lazarus said, the second-half slate will allow regular Thursday prime-time programming to air uninterrupted through mid-November, then rake in advertising revenue during the holidays for the NFL games.
CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus said the first-half schedule will allow the network to promote its shows for the new TV season.

The Iowa Secretary of State, Paul Pate, has now called out the Ted Cruz campaign for falsely representing IOWA ELECTION LAW, in their campaign,“shaming letter.”“Today I was shown a piece of literature from the Cruz for President campaign that misrepresents the roll of my office, and worse misrepresents Iowa election law.” he stated in a Des Moines press release. [Link] On Saturday, Paul Pate rebuked Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz’s controversial use of a mailer to encourage turnout at the Feb. 1 caucuses.
Tom Hinkeldey, a resident of Alta, Iowa, tweeted a photo (which was later deleted because it included his personal address) on Friday evening of a mailer Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign sent addressed to his wife, Steffany. The mailer was a large card printed to look like a manila envelope on one side and was labeled in all capital letters, “ELECTION ALERT,” “VOTER VIOLATION,” “PUBLIC RECORD,” and “FURTHER ACTION NEEDED.”
Basically what the Cruz campaign did was send a letter out to Iowa caucus voters misrepresenting voters as being in violation of Iowa voter laws via how many times they’ve voted or failed to vote. Here’s the letter his campaign sent:
It states at the top left of the letter that it was paid for by Cruz for President. The title is VOTING VIOLATION, which doesn’t exist in Iowa, or any other state as far as I know. It also states:
You are receiving this election notice because of low expected turnout in your area. Your individual voting history, as well as your neighbors’ are public record. Their scores are published below, and many of them will see your scores as well. CAUCUS ON MONDAY TO IMPROVE YOUR SCORE, and please encourage your neighbors to caucus as well. A follow-up notice may be issued following Monday’s caucus.
Can you imagine the uproar had the Trump candidacy pulled a stunt like this? The media would be in a frenzy to excoriate him and his people. Megyn Kelly and Fox News would have been all over Trump like ants on sugar, but because it was Ted Cruz you hardly hear a whimper. All I hear on Fox News is guests bashing Trump, one after another. Here’s Ted Cruz putting out a totally false mailer to the Iowa voters. Voters are never graded and neither does the Secretary of State maintain records regarding Iowa caucus participation.
Cambridge Analytica Involved?
It would be interesting to know if the psy-op spy group Cambridge Analytica had anything to do with this sham. Surely the people who received these letters were profiled and targeted. Remember Cambridge Analytica is owned in part by hedge fund manager, Robert Mercer. Mercer alone was the fourth largest individual donor in the 2014 cycle, according to Open Secrets. Mercer is a major financial supporter of the 2016 presidential campaign of Ted Cruz, contributing $11 million to a super PAC associated with the candidate. Cruz used Cambridge Analytica to harvest (I actually hate that word) data on tens of millions of unsuspecting Facebook users. [Link] Researchers at Cambridge University were used to gather detailed psychological profiles about the US electorate using a massive pool of mainly unwitting US Facebook users built with an online survey. In the race to advance data-driven electioneering strategies pioneered by successive Obama campaigns, Cruz turned to Cambridge Analytica for its unparalleled offering of psychological data based on a treasure trove of Facebook “likes,” allowing it to match individuals’ traits with existing voter datasets, such as who owned a gun.
Analysis of Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings shows Cruz’s campaign has paid Cambridge Analytica at least $750,000 this year. The “behavioural microtargeting” company has also received around $2.5m over the past two years from conservative Super Pacs to which Mercer or members of his family have donated. Remember too that Cruz’s Keep the Promise I PAC paid $500,000 to Carly Fiorina to help with this data mining agenda and create psychometric dossiers on American citizens. Carly knows NSA data collection to a “T.” She was chairman of the CIA’s advisory board helping the NSA to develop privacy invading spy networks on American citizens after 9/11. Hewlett Packard was the private business that supplied the government with the spy hardware and software. Carly knows everything.
In an interview with the Guardian last November, Cruz said his funding and outreach apparatus “is very much the Obama model – a data-driven, grassroots-driven campaign – and it is a reason why our campaign is steadily gathering strength.” Cruz says he deeply admires the presidency of Ronald Reagan, and another president as well – and it’s not a Republican. In the interview with the Guardian, Cruz revealed that his push for the White House is based not only on the vision of Reagan, but the tactics of Barack Obama.
Cruz’s admiration for the “potent” Obama election machine is so great he admits buying copies of Democratic campaign manager David Plouffe’smemoirs to hand out to his own staff during his successful 2012 Senate race. Ted Cruz has said, ” There are some in the political world that vilify Barack Obama. Personally, I’ve never been one of them.” [Link]
Iowa gets “harvested” every four years by these Washington political insiders. It feels like rape. After the campaigns and media pull out the night after caucuses it feels like “slam bam thank you ma’am.” Cruz’s dirty activities make it even more loathsome.
Cruz, however, was defiant to reporters when asked about the mailer in Sioux City, Iowa, on Saturday night.
“I will apologize to no one for using every tool we can to encourage Iowa voters to come out and vote,” (For him of course) he said. CNN
So, Cruz lies to the people of Iowa, the Secretary of State calls him on it and Cruz says he doesn’t care. Why should he, he’s got Megyn Kelly, Glenn Beck and Faux News.
Can you imagine if this type of flyer were delivered to BLACKS in the SOUTH? Big Brother is watching how you vote?!?!?!?

I hope the voters of Iowa realize what Cruz and his campaign have perpetrated on them, and that his actions were much like Obama’s only without subtlety, more like a sledgehammer. Cruz’s desire to gain votes are so desperate and below the belt, I cannot imagine that people don’t see through him.

Corruption of the Republican Party
Do people now see how corrupt the Republican party has become? For seven years the Congress has done absolutely NOTHING to stop any of the unconstitutional acts by Obama. They actually have been totally complicit in his destructive agenda. The recent Omnibus bill that was passed with the help of Ryan comes to mind. (By the way, since he’s grown his beard and mustache, I’m wondering if he’s become a Muslim.) Remember too that McConnell is trying to fast track authorization to give Obama unlimited war powers. One could write a book just on the things the Republicans have done to help Obama get exactly what he wanted through all these years. I can’t name one thing they’ve stopped.
The party has run candidates for president who most Republicans consider moderates at best, including both Bush’s, McCain, Willard Romney, Bob Dole, Nixon, Gerry Ford, etc. Many of the electorate stay home rather than voting for the lesser of two evils, which is still evil.
And the public still didn’t seem to see what had become of the party in the last 50 to 60 years. Now however, it is so obvious, I don’t know how anyone can miss it.
The outright hatred of someone outside the beltway, outside the political establishment, outside the machine, has turned the establishment sharks on one who should be their own, but certainly is not. Trump is neither Democrat nor Republican, he is an American first! Leading the pack for the RNC is none other than Fox News and all their cohorts. Why? Because The Donald won’t play their game and they all know it and hate him because of it. The Donald got the better of, and foiled the plans of, Fox News and Roger Ailes.
Fox, Trump, and the Spin
While watching the drama unfold with CNN yesterday when Trump pulled out of the debate, IMMEDIATELY there was a Ted Cruz campaign guy on calling Trump “childish.” Other Cruz guys then began to use the same word — an indication of common talking points. The “spin” begins.
THEN — the spin became that this was all about Megyn Kelly. It wasn’t! Trump’s original statement, and his campaign manager’s statement, made clear that this was about Roger Ailes strange and bizarre attack of Trump. [Link]

Then others who were interviewed began to put forth the Megyn Kelly story as the reason why Trump pulled out. The Trump campaign people who they interviewed —accurately said it wasn’t because of Megyn, although Trump doesn’t like her. It was about Roger Ailes.
So Ailes is getting a FREE PASS by the controlled press right now, and they are buying into the official “spin” that the Cruz campaign put out immediately after the fiasco happened.
The real story got out at the very beginning and then there was a spin-filled cover-up. Now Cruz is spinning every possible lie about Trump that he can think of to help himself and destroy Mr. Trump. The electorate seems to be getting wise to these deceptions however.

The attack by Faux News is unprecedented, and CNN has even been shocked at Fox’s tactics. However, Mr. Trump skipping the final debate is not unprecedented. In 1980, Ronald Reagan skipped the last debate before the Iowa caucus.

Megyn’s latest “special guest” was none other than Michael Moore on Tuesday, January 27th. Notice how chummy she is with this anti-American cretin.
Moore intimated that Donald Trump was afraid of Kelly and of course she played along with it. But facts are facts, Donald Trump refused to reward bad behavior, and he shouldn’t.
Personally, I’d want to bleach everything the man touched after he left. Ugh.
In Breitbart’s latest article, ‘Love-Fest’: Megyn Kelly Blasts Donald Trump, Flirts With Michael Moore, author John Nolte tells of the brilliant planning by Donald Trump. He states, “In short: Trump spent a half-year carefully crafting and building the Narrative that Fox News was out to get him, and with one press release, Roger Ailes blundered right into it.”
Nolte goes on to list all the benefits for Mr. Trump and to nearly gagging while watching Megyn Kelly gush over Michael Moore. Even the left-wing Washington Post and Salon described it as a “love-fest.” The article is well worth the read.

Overall, this lands Fox as the Clinton family’s 9th largest donor.

Greta Van Susteren Poll
Fox’s Greta Van Susteren polled her “Gretawire” viewers on Tuesday to see who would tune into the upcoming debate without Trump. The results, although unscientific, were overwhelming: 85.9 percent (14,209) of respondents said they would not watch the debate compared to 14.1 percent (2,333) who would.
Having spent years in advertising, I certainly can imagine the advertisers complaining when they paid for 24 million viewers, and without Trump will only get 3 or 4 million! That is going to hurt!

For those who have tracked this with at least a modicum of interest, this has all been puzzling. WeaponsMan has this to say about the death of Robert ‘LaVoy’ Finicum.
This whole mess began because a Federal prosecutor (like all of them an effete urbanite with many years in Eastern elite colleges) thought it would be amusing to make a felony out of some careless brush burnoffs by a couple of ranchers, and send the hayseeds to prison.
Amusing, you say? This all happened because someone wanted to be amused? Digging a little deeper, the original case was so weak that if something like this had happened around these parts, those responsible might have faced community service, a small to moderate fine and a stern talking-to by the judge. To explain just how bizarre this whole thing was to start out, and just how head-scratching the drama surrounding this was, I turn to none other than Western Livestock Journal, well before any of this ever happened.
BLM filed charges against the Hammonds back in 2012. The federal prosecutor chose to prosecute them under the Anti-terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 (Anti-terrorism Act).
The trial court’s 2012 findings can be summarized as follows: Dwight and Steven admitted to having started two fires, for which the court found them guilty. One of the fires was a prescribed burn in 2001 that, according the court record, accidentally spread onto 139 acres of BLM land. Those 139 acres happened to be located on one of the family’s federal grazing allotments. The other fire, from 2006, was a back-burn. Steven had set the fire on the family’s private property in order to protect their winter feed from a lightening fire that had started on adjacent BLM land. That fire accidentally spread to one acre of BLM land.
Those are the facts of the case. They aren’t any more complicated than that. This all has to do with some controlled burns that weren’t exactly controlled, and an agreement the Hammonds say they had with BLM that apparently they didn’t have in writing (big mistake). Continuing with the report.
The trial court sentenced Dwight and Steven Hammond, father and son, to a combined three months, one year and one day in prison. They served their time in 2013 and are now under three years’ “supervised release.” The court additionally revoked their firearms and Dwight lost his pilot’s license.
The Hammonds are also paying $400,000 as part of a separate settlement agreement with BLM.
They may be forced to sell part of their ranch to BLM to make the payment. BLM has additionally refused to renew the family’s federal grazing permits for two years running. This means Hammonds can use neither their BLM allotments nor thousands of their private acres, which are intermingled with BLM land. It should be noted that the civil settlement and the BLM’s refusal of Hammonds’ grazing permits are, technically, unrelated to the criminal case.
So this begins to get interesting, yes? A harsh settlement with the court, loss of weapons rights, huge fine, time in prison, and now (this is the interesting part) loss of grazing permits and possibly having to sell the ranch because of the huge fine. Remember, this is all stuff that was known well before anything with the so-called occupation ever occurred. Let’s continue.
… the federal government was unsatisfied with the less-than-five-year sentence handed down by the trial court, and decided to appeal.
In the first instance, why did the federal government choose to prosecute under an anti-terrorism statute? A reading of the court documents does not provide a clear answer. The Anti-terrorism Act was enacted following the World Trade Center and Oklahoma City bombings in the 1990s. Legislative history shows the law’s purpose is to “deter terrorism, provide justice for victims, provide for an effective death penalty, and for other purposes.” More specific purposes include authorizing federal courts to hear claims against “terrorist governments for acts of terrorism against U.S. citizens…” and revising criminal laws regarding “unlawful possession, use, transfer, and trafficking in nuclear materials and biological and chemical weapons.”
The government originally attempted to prosecute the father and son for nine violations of the Anti-terrorism Act. The trial court found Hammonds guilty on only two counts: for having started the 2001 prescribed burn and the 2006 back-burn. The guilty charges came under section 844(f) of the Act, which calls for a minimum of five years in prison for anyone who “maliciously damages or destroys, or attempts to damage or destroy, by means of fire or an explosive, any building, vehicle, or other personal or real property [of] the United States…” However, the judge andjury appeared to be conflicted over applying the Anti-terrorism Act’s full force. As noted by Judge Michael Hogan of the District Court, Hammonds’ fires likely rejuvenated and improved the federal range. Indeed, it would defy logic to expect Hammonds to purposefully and “maliciously” damage their own BLM allotments.
Of importance, too, was the trial court’s finding that no lives were endangered or harmed by the fires—which, under the Anti-terrorism Act, would have meant a minimum prison sentence of seven years.
You can read the rest for yourself. Now, to be sure, we can combine this ridiculous legal situation with problems of our own with the Bundy’s visit to Malheur. To begin with, if they had surrounded the Hammond’s home at their request and refused to allow him to be taken to prison, this might have ended differently, and would probably have had the support of most of the patriot community. Instead, they occupied an unrelated building in the middle of nowhere, without the Hammonds having requested it.
Furthermore, this was tactically and logistically unsustainable, and lacked means of egress, evasion and escape. For me, there is also the problem that the occupation is intermingled with eschatological complexities of the LDS. Ammon Bundy claimed to be told by God to do this, and one occupier said “I’m Captain Moroni, from Utah.” This is important. If you do not understand the significance of this, then study it.
As for me and my theological views (give me a brief minute here, as this is related to the article), God doesn’t reveal Himself today (contra LDS, Pentecostal, or Roman Catholic with the pope speaking “ex cathedra”). He has revealed Himself, past tense. It’s closed – finished. See the Westminster Confession of Faith. I am to follow His laws for my life, and honor His guidelines and wisdom in my interactions. I don’t listen for “voices,” wait for visions or expect God to favor me with knowledge other men don’t have.
So if you tell me God said for you to do something or other, I’m more than likely going to say, “Thank you sir,” shake your hand and be on my way. The situation was a bad case for patriots, poorly planned, poorly thought out, and badly executed. But it is what it is, not perfect. Perhaps I couldn’t have done better.
And into the gap stepped Bundy, his friends and Mr. Robert ‘LaVoy’ Finicum. They may not have known what they were stumbling into, but it is dark, deep, and a sad commentary on the state of this pitiful nation. Let’s take a step further into the darkness, thanks to Jon Rappoport.
Is uranium at the heart of the Oregon Malheur federal-protestor standoff? That’s the question I’m asking. It isn’t a flippant question.
I realize there are many other issues swirling around this event. The Hammonds, the Bundys, militias, the feds, cattle grazing on federal lands, federal land grabs, and so on. This article isn’t meant to take apart those matters.
It’s meant to follow up on my previous article, in which I present a circumstantial case for the Clintons’ heavy involvement in a scheme that’s transferred 20% of US uranium production to Putin and Russia. And the key company in that piece is Uranium One. Remember the name. It’s apparently a major clue in what I’m about to discuss.
I also want to say, at the outset, that I don’t know how many independent news outlets and websites are covering the uranium question, or which outlet initiated this line of investigation. I’m relying on one provocative January 23 article at intellihub, by Shepard Ambellas:
Down in the body of that article, the author provides a link to a page at the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM), which is a federal agency under the Department of the Interior.
On that BLM page (“National BLM > OR/WA > Energy > Uranium Energy”), in a section titled,“Uranium on BLM-Administered Lands in OR/WA,” [(image of webpage forthcoming)] is the following statement:
“In September 2011, a representative from Oregon Energy, L.L.C. (formally Uranium One), met with local citizens, and county and state officials, to discuss the possibility of opening a uranium oxide (‘yellowcake’) mine in southern Malheur County in southeastern Oregon. Oregon Energy is interested in developing a 17-Claim parcel of land known as the Aurora Project through an open pit mining method. Besides the mine, there would be a mill for processing. The claim area occupies about 450 acres and is also referred to as the ‘New U’ uranium claims.
“On May 7, 2012, Oregon Energy LLC made a presentation to the BLM outlining its plans for development for the mine.
“The Vale District has agreed to work with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife on mitigation for the ‘New U’ uranium claims, which are located in core sage grouse habitat. Although the lands encompassing the claims have been designated core, the area is frequented by rockhounds and hunters, and has a crisscrossing of off-highway vehicle (OHV) roads and other significant land disturbance from the defunct Bretz Mercury Mine, abandoned in the 1960s.
“However, by the fall of 2012 the company said that it was putting its plans for the mine on hold until the uncertainty surrounding sage grouse issues was resolved.”
The first sentence in that BLM section ties together several key elements of the story: Uranium One; a uranium mine; southern Malheur County. Southern Malheur is the general area of the federal-protestor standoff. Let me give you that first sentence again:
“In September 2011, a representative from Oregon Energy, L.L.C. (formally Uranium One), met with local citizens, and county and state officials, to discuss the possibility of opening a uranium oxide (‘yellowcake’) mine in southern Malheur County in southeastern Oregon.”
What does this have to do with Hillary and Bill Clinton? I’ll reprint my previous article so you can read the details, but the short version is: there’s a case to be made that they, through Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation, facilitated the sale of Uranium One to Putin and the Russians. And if so, and if this area of Oregon is projected to be part of that uranium mining deal, then we are looking at a stunning “coincidence”: the US federal government is coming down hard on a group of protestors who are occupying, for their own reasons, a very valuable piece of territory that goes far beyond the issue of private cattle grazing on government land.
It comes under the heading of those old familiar lines: you have no idea what you’re involved in; you have no idea who you’re messing with; this is way over your head; you just stepped into the middle of something that’s bigger than you can imagine.
Not only is an awful lot of Uranium at stake, but the company to which he refers is very interested in Gold as well. And right in the area of the fields of weeds in Malheur. This observation isn’t limited to a blogger, however good he has proven to be. Bloomberg has noted that since 2013, “the nuclear energy arm of the Russian state has controlled 20 percent of America’s uranium production capacity.” And USA Today notes that this all comes back to a huge donation to the Clinton Foundation.
I stated in my previous article that the Chinese wanted the uranium under Harney county but it turns out it was the Russians that wanted the uranium. David Ward the sheriff it turns out, used to work for BLM and testified against the Hammonds. It has also been revealed that the Clintons under their reign made a deal with Russia to let them mine uranium under Harney County. The Clinton money laundering Foundation received approximately 2.5 million dollars in four payments from the Russian mining company now known as Uranium One that was bought from a Canadian firm.
This would explain why state officials were nervously trying to end this and why the sheriff gave his permission for the FBI to come into the county at the behest of the governor now as 200 fed vehicles come to Harney County. This governor Kate Brown is a Clinton brown nose supporter
This corruption goes all the way to the top of the Clinton white house, the justice dept, BLM, the forestry dept. and includes the sheriff playing his role in the theft of the Hammonds freedom and land by lying on the stand to convict the Hammonds as a BLM thug. The conflict of interest alone should free the Hammonds on the basis of a mistrial.
Just like the Bundy experience, which was all related to a corrupt deal by Harry Reid to enrich the Chinese communists and his own son with the Bundy land, this is related to land, how valuable it is, and the value of its minerals. If you think that this land is for you, if you think that you can just do anything you wish with government owned land, if you like to sing “this land is your land, this land is my land, from …,” then you’re a moron and you belong at a Bernie Sanders rally. No one except other rubes believes that anything about federal lands is yours. Federal land is capital. It is power. It is largesse. It allows gifts to those in power. It catalyzes corruption. It is quid pro quo, the stuff of powerful men and women who want to rule the world, the currency of graft.
The video the FBI released was purported to show, in the words of FBI special agent Greg Bretzing, “On at least two occasions, Finicum reaches his right hand toward a pocket on the left inside portion of his jacket. He did have a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in that pocket.” First of all, without the wife or daughters producing a proof of sales for a 9 mm pocket pistol, I don’t believe them. Furthermore, it looks to me like he stumbled.
Additionally, even if he had a pocket pistol, no one with two brain cells (and I believe that Mr. Finicum had >> two brain cells) would present or produce a 9mm pocket pistol to engage in combat with multiple operators equipped with rifles, optics and body armor. I don’t believe it. If this video is the best they can do, they failed. It proves nothing. Whoever decided to release this video as evidence of Mr. Finicum’s decision to engage in combat is a moron. It’s a video of a mad, but pitiful old man stumbling in the snow. And you can’t prove that it’s anything but that.
Here we are with Mr. Finicum dead, a good man by all accounts, especially those who knew him best, his friends and family, and yet the evil goes much deeper. The divisions are becoming more pronounced, and they will not be healed. As for the shooters, Oregon police, or *.gov federal agents, whomever you are, this is what we know. You knew that this mess needed to be closed out quickly. Thus you did what you did. Congratulations. You killed Mr. Finicum so that Hillary Clinton could become enriched by selling the rights to American Uranium and Gold to a Russian communist.
