Many Bible believing Christians are members of the HFIB club. The acronym stands for hate, fear, ignorance and bigotry. To be inducted into HFIB all one has to do is oppose homosexual “marriage” or—gasp!—proclaim that homosexuality is a sin against a holy God.
For example, talk show host Montel Williams labeled social conservatives hateful bigots for disagreeing with the High Court’s broad interpretation of the U.S. Constitution regarding same-sex “marriage.” Montel has chosen sides, it seems – he’s taken the side of the totalitarian and intolerant left.
In a piece by Christian Examiner columnist Michael Foust entitled Talk show host Montel Williams compares gay marriage opponents to ISIS, Taliban, Foust writes:
Williams made the comments Friday, hours after the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage. On Facebook he criticized those on the “uber-right,” which apparently is a synonym for most if not all social conservatives. In the same context he referenced Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council. Williams said that “hate, ignorance, fear and bigotry” had lost when the Supreme Court handed down its decision.
“In its typical fashion, the uber-right that so many of us on the center right find to be akin to the American version of ISIS or the Taliban, frezilly predicted the end of the world, including several members of Congress, who with all the style and hyperbole of an ISIS recruiting video, yes, let’s start with Louie Gohmert, proved they lacked the mental fortitude and emotional stability to hold elected office.
“Some members of this, the American Taliban known as the far-right, even threatened to move to Canada without realizing GAY MARRIAGE HAS BEEN LEGAL THERE FOR IONS. Frankly, I’d be happy to see them go, I just think it would be akin to an act of war to dump the uber-right on another country, sort of like dumping radioactive waste on a neighbor’s yard.”
Some of his fans were miffed by his remarks. One fan wrote: “Montel — the Taliban would whack the heads off of you and all gays. You have disgraced yourself in saying that any American who disagrees with YOUR opinion is the Taliban or ISIS.”
Good point. There are pictures circulating on the Internet of ISIS thugs in Raqqa throwing a man accused of being gay off a building while a crowd of people watched the atrocity. Many of them climbed buildings to get a better look.
Fouts also fills us in on Montel’s tantrum on Twitter:
“Those who went into full scale freak out today over LoveWins threatening to leave USA ARE AMERICAN ISIS/TALIBAN,” Williams wrote.
Later, he retweeted a Tweet from someone who agreed with him: “Montel, I agree with u completely They hate the same people ISIS hates 4 the most part & they ignore Christs words 2.”
One person, Mike McIntyre (@mcintyremike), wrote, “Montel, I have long respected you. You don’t think someone can like the outcome but hate the way it came to be?”
Another follower, TJ (@chinn_tj), replied, “WOW! I may be on the right but I’ve never threatened to blow somebody up!”
A third person, “Janilyn” (@Geckogal55), wrote, “So I see the persecution of Christians has now started.”
Billy Hallowell of The Blaze wrote, “YOU CALLED ANGRY AMERICANS MAKING A SILLY COMMENT ISIS. I’m perplexed.” Williams retorted, “feel free to unfollow me then. Don’t let the door hit you.” (bold theirs)
When he railed against Louie Gohmert (R-Tx), what was it he said? Oh, I remember. Rep. Gohmert “proved [he] lacked … mental fortitude and emotional stability.” Is this not a case of the pot calling the kettle black?
No matter what you may think of Louie Gohmert and Tony Perkins, to compare them to Islamic terrorists that line innocent people up and behead them for the crime of professing a belief in Jesus Christ goes beyond the pale. What Williams conveniently forgets is that words have power. Words can inflame unstable people to violence. I mean, think about it. What if a Christian media personality used the same words as Montel chose to describe the five Supreme Court Justices who shredded the U.S. Constitution because they’d like to see sexual deviants marry anyone they want to. The backlash would be horrific.
It’s too late for an apology from Montel Williams, not that one will be forthcoming. The damage has already been done.
A Slap In The Face To Conservatives
After the decision came down, that same night the White House was lit up like never before. Red, blue, green and yellow lights stood out against a dark backdrop, giving the appearance of a gigantic rainbow flag. It was impressive to be sure. But we all know that the rainbow is the LGBT symbol. This celebratory display at the people’s house no doubt offended the majority of those that pay the electricity bill. For President Obama to make this sort of statement is a slap in the face to traditional Americans who support Normal Marriage. The administration is well aware that a large number of people in this country oppose redefining marriage. What struck me is that the president chose not to use his high office to unite Americans; he chose to gloat over judicial activism that ushered in counterfeit marriage.
What some Americans may not be aware of is that back in 1996 when Barack Obama was running for Illinois state senate he said he was in favor of same-gender “marriage.” (Here’s a video of Anderson Cooper taking him to task on flip-flopping on gay “marriage.”) As it turns out he supposedly “evolved” on the issue and decided that marriage should be between one man and one woman. Let us not forget that during a 2008 debate held at Saddleback Church he looked Rick Warren squarely in the eye and said, “For me as a Christian it’s [marriage] a sacred union.” Sacred union is a religious term that describes a union between a man and a woman. Now he’s back where he started in 1996, supporting counterfeit marriage.
Mr. President, I have news for you. You have rejected the clear teaching of Scripture on homosexuality.
You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness while she is in her menstrual uncleanness. And you shall not lie sexually with your neighbor’s wife and so make yourself unclean with her. You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the LORD. You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion.
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
Mr. President, you’ve made a choice to reject God’s unambiguous command not to engage in homosexual acts. Bear in mind that anyone who rejects what God expressly says is in essence calling Him a liar.
Woe to you.
Mr. President, you can instruct your staff to light up all the monuments in Washington D.C. to celebrate the left’s victories over the “uber right” but that won’t change the fact that whatever victories they achieve will be short lived. I say this with confidence because I count on the FACT that in the end, God wins.

On Friday evening, the White House was glowing with pride.
The Obama administration bathed the north side of the executive mansion in rainbow-colored light to celebrate the Supreme Court’s Friday ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, which guaranteed a constitutional right to same-sex marriage across America.
“As of 7:08 PM, the sunlight made it difficult make out the colors, but red, orange, yellow, green and violet were faintly visible,” according to a pool report.
According to a White House official, the lighting was done “to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to progress and equality, here in America and around the world. The pride colors reflect the diversity of the LGBT community, and tonight, these colors celebrate a new chapter in the history of American civil rights.”
While most expected President Obama and other Democratic politicians to celebrate the ruling — he called it “a victory for America” in a valedictory Rose Garden speech — the decision for a White House light show came as a surprise around dinnertime Friday, though the White House had dropped hints all morning.
Just after 1 p.m., the administration released an email blast from Jim Obergefell, one of the plaintiffs arguing before the Supreme Court, that featured the traditional White House emblem tinged with rainbow colors.
The White House also changed the default picture on its Twitter account to an image of the White House filled in with rainbow colors. Throughout the morning, the account tweeted and retweeted various statements praising the decision, until President Obama began his eulogy of the nine African-America churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina, at which point the account transitioned to tweeting out quotes from the speech.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government.
Jarrett’s dad, pathologist and geneticist Dr. James Bowman, had extensive ties to Communist associations and individuals, his lengthy FBI file shows. In 1950 Bowman was in communication with a paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage. Bowman was also a member of a Communist-sympathizing group called the Association of Internes and Medical Students. After his discharge from the Army Medical Corps in 1955, Bowman moved to Iran to work, the FBI records show.
According to Bowman’s government file the Association of Internes and Medical Students is an organization that “has long been a faithful follower of the Communist Party line” and engages in un-American activities. Bowman was born in Washington D.C. and had deep ties to Chicago, where he often collaborated with fellow Communists. JW also obtained documents on Bowman from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) showing that the FBI was brought into investigate him for his membership in a group that “follows the communist party line.” The Jarrett family Communist ties also include a business partnership between Jarrett’s maternal grandpa, Robert Rochon Taylor, and Stern, the Soviet agent associated with her dad.
Jarrett’s father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, was also another big-time Chicago Communist, according to separate FBI files obtained by JW as part of a probe into the Jarrett family’s Communist ties. For a period of time Vernon Jarrett appeared on the FBI’s Security Index and was considered a potential Communist saboteur who was to be arrested in the event of a conflict with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). His FBI file reveals that he was assigned to write propaganda for a Communist Party front group in Chicago that would “disseminate the Communist Party line among…the middle class.”
It’s been well documented that Valerie Jarrett, a Chicago lawyer and longtime Obama confidant, is a liberal extremist who wields tremendous power in the White House. Faithful to her roots, she still has connections to many Communist and extremist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood. Jarrett and her family also had strong ties to Frank Marshal Davis, a big Obama mentor and Communist Party member with an extensive FBI file.
JW has exposed Valerie Jarrett’s many transgressions over the years, including her role in covering up a scandalous gun-running operation carried out by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Last fall JW obtained public records that show Jarrett was a key player in the effort to cover up that Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress about the Fast and Furious, a disastrous experiment in which the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) allowed guns from the U.S. to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels. Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of hundreds of weapons which have been used in an unknown number of crimes, including the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona.
In 2008 JW got documents linking Valerie Jarrett, who also served as co-chairman of Obama’s presidential transition team, to a series of real estate scandals, including several housing projects operated by convicted felon and Obama fundraiser/friend Antoin “Tony” Rezko. According to the documents obtained from the Illinois Secretary of State, Valerie Jarrett served as a board member for several organizations that provided funding and support for Chicago slum projects operated by Rezko.

There was much news over the weekend, the most recent being a piece in yesterday’s Christian Science Monitor, quoting would-be president Hillary Rodham Clinton, who said Saturday that the nation needs “common-sense gun control reforms.”
She was speaking to the U.S. Conference of Mayors, many of whom have belonged to anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns. That’s the group with the public relations problem of explaining how so many of its former members have been convicted of various crimes that landed at least some of them in prison.
A Wall Street Journal blog indicated that among Clinton’s “reforms” would be the so-called “universal background check.” Background checks have worked so well in recent years that they didn’t stop Santa Barbara spree killer Elliot Rodger, Washington Navy Yard gunman Aaron Alexis, both Fort Hood gunmen Nidal Hasan (2009) and Ivan Lopez (2014), accused movie massacre gunman James Holmes, Arapahoe High School gunman Karl Pierson, Tucson gunman Jared Lee Loughner, and apparently accused Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof.
According to the Charlotte Observer, “Investigators have not publicly discussed how Roof is believed to have acquired a gun.” Roof may have purchased a .45-caliber Glock pistol with money he got from his parents on his birthday in April. This was weeks after he had been arrested on drug charges, but the newspaper went to great length to explain how the purchase might have happened.
The question remains. What exactly, are the “common sense reforms” that have been called for by the gun prohibition lobby, and proponents of tougher gun laws including Clinton and President Barack Obama? Would they include:
The argument against any or all of these is that they reduce the right to keep and bear arms to a heavily-regulated government-granted privilege. But before dismissing these suggestions as non-starters, proponents of “common sense reforms” – whatever they happen to be – need to get specific. At least Clinton has pointed to the background check as one possible measure, and keeping guns out of the hands of domestic abusers or people with mental illness. But would any of these measure have prevented a determined killer from getting his hands on a gun and committing a crime?
Clinton and other anti-gunners should also agree that if, after a certain time has passed, these gun laws don’t work – which they won’t – they all be immediately scrapped. Destroy gun registries. Dismiss licensing requirements. Restore open or concealed carry without a license or permit. Would the gun control crowd go along with any of this?
As the nation continues to reel from the Charleston church attack, those who now seek to exploit it to push their agenda need to define in great detail what, exactly, that agenda includes. They need to explain what it is about their proposals – whatever they are – that will, as Clinton insisted the other day, still respect the Second Amendment and “responsible gun owners” while keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and crazy people.
So far, there has not been much success with gun laws to prevent mass shootings, armed robberies, planned or random homicides, assault or accidental and negligent shootings. Which “new” proposal will be the magic measure? It’s time for gun control proponents to tell the country precisely what they want, so that the nation’s gun owners can politely tell them once again to take a hike.
I am refusing to vote in the next election if the elitist Republican jerks force Jeb Bush on us as the Republican General Election candidate. I for one have had it up to here (Imagine) with these dictators and Ivy League losers. What a waste of education funds, training up Globalist phony FREE TRADERS who sell America out at every turn. They need to hear us loud and clear - NO BUSH - NO WAY. Dumb @$$ Democrats will vote for Hillary Clinton no matter what. If she went Lizzy Borden on new born babies - These Morally Bankrupt Democrats would still vote for her… Republicans better wake up! On Jeb Bush - Call, write letters to the editor of your newspapers… Tell them you will NOT SHOW UP if Bush is their man in 2016

If you’ve ever been in an argument with a diehard progressive, you know it can only end one way. They can’t win on the facts, so they change the subject, start screaming, and eventually storm off. Unfortunately for them, if they’re in front of a TV camera that’s not really an option.
Live TV forces them to rein in the crazy and, every so often, admit that they’ve been wrong. It’s rare, but it happens.
This weekend, some new emails surfaced which indicated - as we all knew - that Jonathan “ignorance of the voters” Gruber was instrumental in the creation of the ObamaCare debacle. Despite a couple of years’ worth of left-wing assurances that his role in the ACA’s creation had been overstated, we now learn that he was just as instrumental as we’ve always assumed.
So, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host decided to ask his panel - including Howard Dean - about it. Did *GASP* the White House lie about the extent of Gruber’s involvement?
Hint: Yes. They did!

In a last-hour attempt to stop the U.S. Senate from committing a most dangerous act, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) has once again taken the heroic stance of lone warrior, warning fellow Republicans against giving President Obama Trade Promotion Authority (TPA, aka Fast Track). After weeks of complicated maneuvering and a confusing jumble of votes, the stand-alone TPA bill passed by the House last week is set to go back to the Senate on Tuesday, for what could be the final vote to confer what Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has admitted is “an enormous grant of power, obviously, from a Republican Congress to a Democratic president.”
Much has been learned in the past month since the Senate first approved Fast Track; there can now be no excuse for those who claim to support it under the false justification that it will facilitate trade and promote jobs.
“Second chances do not come often,” Sessions noted. “We now have new information and a new vote. Which means the Senate has a second chance to slow down and demand answers about the President’s plans before agreeing to fast-track their adoption.”
That would seem to be plain and simple prudence that even the dullest solon would recognize and follow. But apparently not, even though, as the good senator from Alabama points out, President Obama has refused to answer the most simple but crucial questions about how he plans to use fast-track powers. “He will not even answer whether he believes his plan will increase or reduce the trade deficit, increase or reduce manufacturing jobs, or increase or reduce wages,” Sessions notes. “Concerns raised about how this new Pacific Union [under the TPP] will impact our sovereignty have been met with only a continued unwillingness to reply to any questions about the limits of its reach and power.”
Senator Sessions reminds his colleagues that the TPP is only the first of a mammoth ObamaTrade trifecta that also includes the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA), both of which remain completely secret and unavailable for review by our elected legislators. The TPP draft is available to senators and representatives only under very restrictive conditions.
In a similar alarm he issued in a June 17 press release, Sessions warned that America’s national sovereignty is in dire danger from the TPP/TTIP/TiSA pseudo-free trade assault:
According to the European Commission, the TiSA agreement—which most House and Senate members did not know about when they voted—will follow in the footsteps of the WTO’s Trade in Services Provisions, which has already inhibited the U.S. from making needed immigration changes. The European Commission says the EU “wants as many countries as possible to join the agreement.” We have already seen how the EU has curtailed sovereignty in Europe; we do not want to follow in its footsteps.
Why the Mad Rush?
“The more vast, the more grand, the more ambitious the design the more important it is to slow down – not to grease the skids. Congress must retain its powers of amendment and review, as well as its treaty powers, for agreements that clearly extend far beyond trade. And Congress must protect the power of the individual citizen to control those who would seek to control them,” the Alabama solon warns.
What is really at work here? Sessions points a finger at the dark forces that are guiding this corrupt process and the malevolent goal they intend: “The transnational entities stitching these compacts together have always desired a governance structure outside the reach of the ordinary voter; as conservatives we should never rush into the unknown on the promise that utopia lies across the abyss.”
Is it stupidity or cupidity, then, if senators ignore the abyss and still vote for TPA, in view of plain truth about Fast Track’s phony utopian promises? Either way, a vote for Fast Track tomorrow would be totally inexcusable, and political retribution should be unforgiving and unmistakable.

In a bunch of states in America, citizens concerned about the secrecy and the expense of the Refugee Admissions Program of the UN/US State Department are asking questions and demanding answers about how their tax dollars are being spent.
One of those states is Minnesota arguably one of the most densely refugee-populated states between those being placed there by several resettlement contractors including Lutheran Social Service of MN (see here for background) and those moving there from other resettlement cities (to be with their fellow Somalis).
Obama: ” Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing.”
When I read this letter from Minnesota resident Bob Enos in the St. Cloud Times, one of the things I wondered about was whether the US State Department and its contractor LSS got the memo from the White House to ALL FEDERAL AGENCIES (that would include the US State Department and the Dept. of Health and Human Services (ORR) right?) and their contractors!

Lutheran Social Service recently had a meeting at the Stearns County Service Center in Waite Park.
This was a meeting of “stakeholders” involved with Lutheran Social Service’s contract with the federal government for relocating political refugees to the St. Cloud area. The meeting has not been publicized. Evidently, it is closed to the public.
Even though refugee resettlement in St. Cloud is fueled with federal tax receipts, Lutheran Social Service, as a private contractor, appears to be under no legal or moral obligation to provide transparency to the public. This is deceptive and underhanded, and it must end.
Furthermore, the public must demand a long-overdue accounting of the program, an independent audit of both the use of our tax dollars and the financial impact upon Stearns County taxpayers in areas such as social services, schools, subsidized housing, transportation and public safety.
If Lutheran Social Service ran this program with proceeds from the Sunday collection plate, that would be voluntary charity, and the public might have little say in the matter. Paying taxes, however, is not voluntary.
Lutheran Social Service must be held to the same standard of transparency as any government organization.
Doesn’t it make you wonder if Senators Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden, in crafting the Refugee Act of 1980, set up the present contracting system for the purpose of keeping the public in the dark? I would argue that these contractors, which receive the vast majority of their funding from taxpayers, are required to follow the President’s orders!
Note to the growing groups of grassroots activists looking to bring this secretive program out of the shadows, go here to the list of resettlement subcontractors working near you, ask them for the FY2015 R & P Abstract (see two posts on abstracts before today) for the city and ask them when the next “consultation” or “stakeholders” meeting will be held.
By the way, we have learned that the Refugee Council USA (the lobbying arm for the resettlement contractors) has instructed its members to NOT give citizens any information, so don’t be surprised if you are treated disrespectfully (or they pretend they don’t know what you are talking about!) when you call. But, do it anyway!

The Pentagon just approved a major plan to reform the military retirement system by reducing current pension size by 20 percent. That plan is now in the hands of Congress.
Defense officials sent along a six-page whitepaper with the bill in an effort to help explain the policies, Military Times reports.
A blended system maintains the current, though downsized pension system, and adds individual retirement accounts for personnel, called Thrift Savings Plans (TSP). Government contributions equivalent to 1 percent of basic pay accrue to the account and cannot be withdrawn before the veteran is 59 and a half.
Contributions from personnel are automatically set at 3 percent. Opting out is possible, but personnel will first have to receive training in financial literacy. After four years of service, the government will match individual contributions to the account up to the equivalent of 5 percent of basic pay. If individuals kick in 5 percent of their pay to the account, the government will also add 6 percent of basic pay.
Back in March, President Barack Obama hinted at support for the reform recommendation stemming from the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission’s two-year study which came out earlier this year. (RELATED: Obama Hints At Support For Downsizing Military Pensions By 20 Percent)
For the longest time, the Pentagon avoided taking a concrete position, but approval from top DOD officials means one more obstacle out of the way in moving the proposals through to law.
With the new change in place, some amount of retirement benefits would be available for the vast majority of personnel who exit before they reach 20 years of service—the time it takes to be approved for the normal pension system.
Individual retirement accounts is a concept supported both by a Republican-dominated Congress and many veterans’ advocates, though with some qualifications.
“While IAVA is still reviewing the details of the recommendations, we support an update to this system to allow for more options for service members, particularly those who serve fewer than 20 years,” Mark Szymanski, chief communications officer at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
“Our position is driven by IAVA’s members, who have voiced support for reforming the military retirement system to include non-careerists. In our 2014 Member Survey, of those supporting reform, 67 percent favored a 401k-style benefit for non-careerists, 33 percent favored increasing the overall value of the current retirement benefits, and 59 percent favored a partial early retirement benefit for 10 or 15 years of service. For our members, it is clear that they want to see a system where all service is eligible.”
Other groups were more specific, highlighting the incentive structure as an element of the new system that could go awry if not carefully observed.
“One of The American Legion’s concerns was that the new plan would reduce the incentive for enlistments or re-enlistments, so if the new plan is approved and implemented, and they find that they’re losing ground as far as encouraging people to join the military goes, then they’ll have to go back and relook at the system,” Joe Grassi, director of the national security division for The American Legion, told TheDCNF.
Grassi noted that the plan includes a grandfather clause, meaning that currently serving military personnel will have two years to decide whether they’d like to opt in to the new system or continue with the old system.
The Military Officers Association of America (MOOA) is decidedly more skeptical. President and CEO of MOOA Norb Ryan told Government Executive that “the current system provides great predictability and the TSP’s rate of return is at the whim of market fluctuation. We still have concerns that the 20-percent reduction in a service member’s retired pay will fail to draw members to 20 years of service and beyond.”
The total value of the benefits under the new system, defense officials maintain, is equivalent to the old system, though there is room for variance because of the element of individual choice in contributions.
With the new system in place, estimates place the amount saved for taxpayers at $1 billion dollars annually.
My Comments: I am not a fan of Allen West for many reasons, and I do not wish to forget about FEMA, Jade Helm, etc., but this article on our 2nd amendment rights is important, and yes, we have to get outraged about this. The Second Amendment to our U.S. Constitution states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
That statement is pretty clear to understand and comprehend, yet some folks just can’t seem to get over it. There are liberal progressive folks of the left who feel it is their mission in life to relegate the Second Amendment as meaningless. Now, what I am about to say will probably anger some people but so be it.
I’m often asked about FEMA camps along the interstate, Walmart stores closing, and the impending Operation Jade Helm. I continue to tell people that while you’re running around with your hair on fire concerning yourself about these stories, the Obama administration is doing the “Kansas City Shuffle” — you look right while they go left.
Get a load of THIS quiet assault going on – not just on our Second Amendment, but our First as well.
As reported by the Washington Examiner, “Commonly used and unregulated internet discussions and videos about guns and ammo could be closed down under rules proposed by the State Department, amounting to a “gag order on firearm-related speech,” the National Rifle Association is warning.
“In updating regulations governing international arms sales, State is demanding that anyone who puts technical details about arms and ammo on the web first get the OK from the federal government — or face a fine of up to $1 million and 20 years in jail. According to the NRA, that would include blogs and web forums discussing technical details of common guns and ammunition, the type of info gun owners and ammo reloaders trade all the time.”
“Gunsmiths, manufacturers, reloaders, and do-it-yourselfers could all find themselves muzzled under the rule and unable to distribute or obtain the information they rely on to conduct these activities,” said the NRA in a blog posting. “This latest regulatory assault, published in the June 3 issue of the Federal Register, is as much an affront to the First Amendment as it is to the Second,” warned the NRA’s lobbying shop. “Your action is urgently needed to ensure that online blogs, videos, and web forums devoted to the technical aspects of firearms and ammunition do not become subject to prior review by State Department bureaucrats before they can be published,” it added.”
The result is that the Obama administration is going to assault the First Amendment in order to undermine the Second. Once again the bureaucratic regulatory state has reared its ugly head, developed a rule and posted it to the Federal Registry without the consent and knowledge of the American people, nor their Representatives. This is yet another means by which the Obama administration — aka, the liberal progressive left, is seeking to infringe upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
Of course you’re asking, how can this be done and what does the State Department have to do with this?
As the Examiner writes, “At issue is the internet. State is updating International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which implement the federal Arms Export Control Act (AECA). The rules govern everything from guns to strategic bombers. The NRA said that the rules predate the internet, and now the federal government wants to regulate technical arms discussions on on the internationally available web.”
As typical for the government gobbledegook, it took State Department 14-pages to explain but the NRA sought to encapsulate their overreach: “With the new proposal published on June 3, the State Department claims to be ‘clarifying’ the rules concerning ‘technical data’ posted online or otherwise ‘released’ into the ‘public domain.’ To the contrary, however, the proposal would institute a massive new prior restraint on free speech. This is because all such releases would require the ‘authorization’ of the government before they occurred. The cumbersome and time-consuming process of obtaining such authorizations, moreover, would make online communication about certain technical aspects of firearms and ammunition essentially impossible.”
Now of course the Obama defenders will say what does this have to do with infringing on the right to keep and bear arms — much ado about nothing. But here is the objective: the government is seeking to restrict the free speech of American gun owners and the gun industry in sharing information pertaining to their ability to keep arms. Furthermore, the government is using regulatory coercion and threat of imprisonment to create behavior modification — not exactly a positive reflection on our governing system.
In addition, the Obama administration is seeking to surrender U.S. Constitutional gun ownership rights to international code — a violation of the sovereignty of our Republic. It’s just another attempt to chip away at our liberty by circumventing the legislative process and our rule of law. THAT is why this matters.
We’re entering that dangerous area of critical mass where America has an executive branch and a president who in their final eighteen months together will complete their fundamental transformation — by any means necessary.
The Obama administration and the progressive socialist left have effectively become “da man.” And because they’ve gone down that path, we may be entering a time of warranted civil disobedience. To think, that if I, Allen West, a law-abiding American citizen, were to write technical details or make a video about my Bushmaster AR-15 on this website without prior approval of the State Department, I could face a $1 million fine or 20 years in jail is simply beyond belief and comprehension. Welcome to the new America, courtesy of your friendly neighborhood liberal progressives.
Message to State Department: first of all, teach John Kerry how to ride a bike, then leave us the heck alone and stop trying to undermine our individual rights.
Message to President Obama: get a strategy to defeat ISIS, because we are not going to allow you to disarm our citizenry so your Islamist pals can overtake us here in our homeland. And I say that fully aware that PSD-11 demonstrates the Obama administration’s collusion with the Muslim Brotherhood — and we know exactly what the Brotherhood has intended for America in their Explanatory Memorandumwritten in 1991 by Mohammed Akhram. In case you don’t know, a secret directive called Presidential Study Directive-11, or PSD-11 was produced in 2011 and outlines administration support for the Muslim Brotherhood. Of course, no one is allowed to actually read it.
So please folks, instead of FEMA camps, Walmarts, and Jade Helm, study the ITAR and realize how the Obama administration is doing everything possible to slowly undermine your right to keep and bear arms.
Then, flood State Department phone lines demanding they rescind the unconstitutional rule or face the wrath of American gun owners who will not comply.

Every decision made now favors Chinese interests and goes against the American way. It’s pretty obvious that Jade Helm is a distraction to keep folks busy while the Chinese settle in to their new digs. The theater that is Jade Helm or China Hack-Gate etc. All of these things are planned distractions to hide the fact that America has surrendered to it’s creditor - Red China.

This past week Barack Obama laid bare the pincer maneuver he is executing against Israel. As he explained it in an interview with Ilana Dayan on Israeli TV, he intends to squeeze Israel between a nuclear Iran and a terrorist base next door to Tel Aviv.
The precise nature of the Iranian threat is important for understanding Obama’s strategy. Although one can’t completely discount the possibility, Iranian officials have been relatively honest when they say that they don’t intend to nuke us: they would prefer to see us wiped off the map conventionally by their non-state proxies. The bomb will primarily be used to threaten the Sunni states and as a deterrent against Israel’s option to (in the words of the previous Saudi king), cut off the head of the Iranian snake.
Thus, a) providing Iran with its nuclear backstop,
while b) empowering the PLO and Hamas, and c) increasing Israel’s vulnerability to terrorism and conventional attack by reducing its strategic depth, is the perfect three-point strategy for finally achieving the goal that Yasser Arafat dedicated his life to, ending the Jewish state.
Obama told Dayan that Israel is behaving immorally in its actions toward the Palestinian Arabs, that he sees it as his personal duty to change this, that PM Netanyahu’s negotiating positions are unrealistic and disingenuous, and that he intends to change the traditional American position: the US will no longer insist on a bilateral agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, but will support a UN-imposed Palestinian state.
It is interesting that the Palestinian issue is so important to him, that he feels the need to help Palestinian children so deeply, when (for example) there is ongoing rape, abuse and murder of children on a massive scale in much of Africa.
It is interesting that he can brush aside Netanyahu’s reasonable conditions — for security and the need for a commitment to end the conflict — but that maximalist Palestinian demands are treated as non-negotiable.
And his remarks about the Iran deal are interesting too. For the first time, he admits that the military option is off the table:
I can, I think, demonstrate — not based on any hope, but on facts and evidence and analysis — that the best way to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is a verifiable, tough agreement. A military solution will not fix it, even if the United States participates. It would temporarily slow down an Iranian nuclear program, but it will not eliminate it.
So much for leverage! The deal that he is making is apparently neither tough nor verifiable, as the French Foreign Minister has recently noted, not to mention Israel’s PM. It won’t stop Iran or even slow her progress very much. What it will do is to criminalize an Israeli attack while ending sanctions and freeing up tens of billions of frozen Iranian dollars to fund its aggression.
While military action won’t rule out the possibility that some day Iran could reconstruct its program, there are persuasive arguments that it could delay it for a good long time — and who knows what might happen in the interim?
Obama isn’t prepared to take that chance. His alliance with the expanding Shiite caliphate is too important, which is also why he made a joke of American red lines to protect Iranian lackey Bashar al-Assad.
While he will do whatever it takes to help the “Palestinian youth in Ramallah who feels [his] possibilities constrained by the status quo,” he is able to abandon the Syrian child choking his chlorine-gas filled lungs out, or even the barrel-bombed Palestinians in Yarmouk.
But if it isn’t children and it isn’t Palestinians, it isn’t Shiites either. After all, he is still miffed at Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for overthrowing the Muslim Brotherhood regime in Egypt. Now what could the Ikhwan possibly have in common with the Iranian mullahs? Not much, except the desire to destroy Israel.
The enemy of Obama’s enemy is his friend, and he seems determined to make friends of all of Israel’s enemies, even if they turn out, like Iran and the Brotherhood, to be deadly enemies of the United States too.
Irrational? Perhaps, but not surprising. It’s the same irrational current that drives academics and liberal church groups to say “you have to start somewhere” when asked why, with all of the real oppression and occupation in the world, they choose Israel to boycott. It’s the same force that caused Hitler to divert Reichsbahn trains to carry Jews to death camps instead of supplies to his beleaguered troops at Stalingrad.
In another recent interview, Obama made the silly and ahistorical statement that anti-Semitism doesn’t cause national leaders to make irrational decisions when stakes are high.
Clearly untrue. But maybe the truth would have hit too close to home?
