Greta Van Susteren Confirms Trump Helped USMC Sgt. Andrew Tahmooreesi After His Release From Mexican Prison

Here’s something we can all appreciate.

On her show last night, Greta Van Susteren confirmed that Donald Trump sent money to Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooreesi to help him get a jumpstart on is life after he was released from a Mexican prison.

You might remember the plight of Tahmooreesi. He’s the guy who made a wrong turn near the U.S.-Mexico border and ended up in Mexico. When the Mexican authorities searched his car, they found that he had weapons in his possession and threw him in prison.

He stayed there for more than 200 days.

Our State Department was of no use in getting him released. President Obama, allegedly the Commander in Chief of the armed forces, wouldn’t even pick up the phone to request that he be set free.

He just languished there.

Fortunately, there were numerous bright lights in the United States calling for his release. Among them: Glenn Beck and Greta Van Susteren. It was probably thanks to their efforts that he was eventually released.

After he was finally free and back on American soil, numerous people donated to Tahmooreesi so he would have a few bucks in his bank account while looking for a job. One of those people was Donald J. Trump.

And that’s pretty awesome.
