What is happening to our country?

I never like to be reactionary and follow anything that may just be hyperbole or conspiracy theory. That’s why I held off on addressing this issue until I got confirmation — which came Friday afternoon via text message.

There are things which make you just upset, like the liberal progressive left and media accomplices’ rage over the shooting of a lion in Africa but abject disregard and disdain reference Planned Parenthood dismembering babies and selling their body parts.

But this story has me dog fighting mad and seriously pissed off.

As reported ten days ago by Western Journalism, “A Navy officer and Marine reportedly returned fire at the shooter who killed five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., even though current policy does not permit military members to carry firearms on facilities such as those where the attack occurred.

The cold-blooded assault killed four Marines and one active-duty Navy reservist. The center’s commanding officer, Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White, used his personal firearm to engage the shooter during the attack, according to sources quoted in the Navy Times. A report from The Washington Post said that one of the Marines killed in the shooting might have been carrying a 9 mm Glock and possibly returned fire on the shooter.

At the time, Western Journalism wrote, Lt. Cmdr. White could face disciplinary action for violating policy about possessing a weapon on the facility that was supposedly a gun-free zone. The investigation into the attack is ongoing, and authorities will not know if White or the Marine hit the shooter until an autopsy and a ballistics report have been completed.

Ladies and gents, resulting from the text message I received yesterday, I can confirm that the United States Navy is bringing charges against Lt. Cmdr Timothy White for illegally discharging a firearm on federal property.

The text message asked if it would be possible for Lt.Cmdr White to reach out to me. To wit I replied, affirmative.

What kind of freaking idiots are in charge of our Armed Forces — pardon me, our “unArmed Forces”? What would they prefer that Abdulazeez had been able to kill all the Marines and Sailors at the Naval Support Reserve Center? Let me draw an interesting contrast: Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus is more concerned about lifting the ban on transgendered Sailors. Mabus has a problem in that for the first time since 2007 the US Navy will not have a Carrier Battle Group operating in the Persian Gulf. But this knucklehead has no problem with the Navy seeking to destroy the career of a Sailor, a commander of an installation, returning fire against an Islamic jihadist attack. I do not care if it was his personal weapon, he deserves a medal for facing the enemy.

Folks, this has become the Obama military that will not implement policies for our men and women in uniform to be protected — but will punish them if they do protect themselves. What ever happened to the Navy of John Paul Jones, Farragut, Halsey, and Nimitz? What has happened in our America where we believe that our men and women in uniform — especially the commanders — are just targets for these damn Islamic jihadists?

Marine’s Epic Response to Not Wearing His Uniform for His Own Protection

Just a few days ago, the Obama Pentagon refused to acknowledge the rights of its military members to arm themselves at recruitment offices. Instead, they told them the same thing troops were told in Europe back in November: Don’t wear your uniforms and “close the blinds” for their own protection. However, one Marine had an epic response to the ridiculous recommendations and, no doubt, it will go viral.

John McCall is a motor transportation operator in the United States Marine Corps. He has been serving since October of 2009, as well as being the Director of Marketing for Visalus Sciences and Lead Technician for Steel Dynamics, Inc.

Upon hearing the recommendations, McCall took to Facebook and wrote, “To the higher powers that be: You have suggested we Marines NOT wear our uniforms to recruiting stations for “our own protection”. Let me make myself clear. If I’m not going to hide in Afghanistan during a war, why in the hell would I EVER hide in my own country?”

“The day us Marines run and hide from our enemies will be the day this country falls,” he continued. “We won’t EVER let that happen. We WILL continue to wear our uniform with pride.”

He then added that his words, along with his Marine brother Ben Reynolds‘ words “combin(ed) with the actions of many, will restore hope.”

He then encouraged, “Tag 3 ppl and spread the word! ‪#‎GodBlessAmerica ‪#‎SemperFidelis ‪#‎AmericasPolice ‪#‎USMarines‪#‎USMC ‪#‎UnitedWeStand.”

At the time I first viewed the post, it had around 11,000 shares. As of the writing of the article (the next morning), it had nearly 24,000 shares.

The claim that closing the blinds at a US military recruitment office is somehow protection is not even in a sane person’s mind. What, are they not going to cover up the military logo on the door, or the sign above the facility that indicates it’s part of the US military? C’mon!

Second, McCall is exactly right. Is the Pentagon really going to allow those recruiters to not wear their uniforms to work? Isn’t that part of being in the military? Isn’t that part of the dress code?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Obama administration is not incompetent and this is why so many Republicans are not dealing with him properly. He is doing exactly what he and his handlers want to do. Make no mistake, he hates America and wishes to destroy it from within, just like the Marxist-Muslim he is.

Last week, Marine Sergeant Jeremy Knauff warned members of the Islamic State that they would soon learn of the brotherhood of the Marines and that the rules of engagement would not apply to them here on US soil. Medal of Honor Marine Sergeant Dakota Meyer also called on the “full institution of the Second Amendment” not only for military servicemen, but also for all Americans.

I think Mr. McCall has echoed the same resolve when it comes to hiding and playing like little girls instead of Marines.

May God continue to give these men courage in the face of a treasonous administration, an impotent Congress and a demonic, Islamic enemy.

“The FBI has recovered a pistol that may have been privately owned and used by one of the Marines killed here Thursday during the shooting at the Navy Operational Support Center, according to law enforcement officials,” The Washington Post reported Monday. ‘Investigators are trying to determine, based on forensics, whether the pistol, a 9mm Glock, was used in an exchange with the shooter, Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, and possibly wounded him, officials said.”

That’s been corroborated and elaborated on by a Tuesday Navy Times report claiming “Sources: Navy officer, Marine fought to take out Chattanooga gunman.

“It’s also unclear why they were armed, as it is against Defense Department policy for anyone other than military police or law enforcement to carry weapons on federal property,” that report points out.

These revelations bolster a claim made by an anonymous poster on the Sipsey Street Irregulars blog last Friday. That site is run by Mike Vanderboegh, widely recognized as the founder of the Three Percent movement and the blogger who first reported evidence of Operation Fast and Furious “gunwalking” in the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

“One Marine was armed, in violation of policy, and fired at the cowardly bastard who then retreated behind the facility,” an individual identifying himself only as “anon for obvious reasons” wrote. “There he began firing on the others.

“Get the facts,” the comment poster advised. “I spoke w/ a friend who was guarding the suspect’s home this morning. (Sgt w/ Chat. City PD).”

“I would like to investigate your claim and see if it can be verified,” I responded in comments, not having any other way to investigate. “Mike and I will guarantee your anonymity and go to jail before revealing you as our source, just, as we proved faithful to the Fast and Furious whistleblowers. If you could contact him or me, I’d appreciate the opportunity to find out more.”

No reply has been forthcoming at this writing, but the WaPo and Navy Times stories offer substantial corroboration.

This is yet another example of the potential for alternative media to beat the big boys to the punch despite a vast disparity in connections and resources. That in turn reflects on the quality of readership truly informative blogs attract, particularly ones with a track record of breaking important news ahead of the corporate outlets. True, that didn’t happen this time, but things might have played out differently had the anonymous poster responded.

These revelations will probably result in no shortage of antis reveling in ghoulish triumph over a defensive gun failure, and using that to further attack the right to keep and bear arms. Just keep in mind that no one has ever claimed the presence of a gun will allow the victims to prevail in all situations, and anyone using this to defend “gun free zones” is simply being an opportunistic, agenda über alles liar.

Congratulations, ISIS.

You wanted attention, and yesterday, you got it. Only, you chose the wrong people to seek that attention from.…

You did not get the attention of our weak President. He tweeted his support for your medieval holiday following your cowardly attack. You did not get the attention of our useless and corrupt Congress. They were too busy lining their pockets.

When you attacked those four Marines, you got the attention of every one of our 186,800 active duty Marines, along with every Marine who ever served.

You just stirred up hate, discontent, and malice within a group of people who relish the idea of engaging the enemy.

There is something you obviously don’t yet know about Marines…

The brotherhood we share is stronger than the challenges we face, the weapons we master, or the enemies we destroy.

You will learn that soon though.

You attacked a group of men who bond over the smell of gunpowder and misery—and enjoy it. You didn’t attack America’s leaders, you attacked America’s Marines, and that is a battle you are not prepared for.

You see, we won’t play by the rules you’re accustomed to seeing. When you play in our backyard, we don’t have to answer to any chain of command. We will not follow ridiculous ROEs crafted by a spineless bureaucrat to appease some goat herding tribal leader. And we won’t be wearing uniforms so that you can easily ambush us.

Nope. None of that shit.

When you think you’re walking into a target-rich environment, you’re really walking into an ambush.

That pudgy, middle-aged guy wearing khakis in the mall, who unbeknownst to you, is a former 0311 and armed, will dump your sorry ass before you have a chance to scream “allah snackbar.” And that soccer mom pushing a stroller, she’s got a Glock and will happily leave you gasping in a pool of your own blood before she lets you hurt her children.

We are here and we still have the training and experience to wage war, whether here or abroad. And wage war we will. Every one of us are willing to fight and die to protect our Marine Corps brothers and sisters, our families and friends, and our way of life.

And we will win, because while you fight to destroy what you hate, we fight to protect what we love.

After it was revealed that the Muslim shooter who on Thursday murdered four US Marines in Chattanooga, Tennessee was the son of a man who previously was on the terrorist watch list, new details have surfaced about the father.

It has been widely reported that the shooter, Muhammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, was a naturalized American born in Kuwait.

While it’s true his mother Rasmia Abdulazeez is from Kuwait, where Muhammod was born in 1990, multiple reports reveal that the attacker’s father Youssuf Abdulazeez actually hailed from Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria, a city under Palestinian Authority (PA) control.

Apparently Abdulazeez the father traveled to Kuwait where he married and had Muhammod, before the family relocated to the US.

The Palestinian connection was also demonstrated by pictures posted on Facebook recently by Muhammod’s family member, either a sister or cousin, who put up an image featuring a fist grasping a loudspeaker in the colors of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) flag with the words: “speak for Palestine!”

Abdulazeez lived with his parents in Hixson, Tennessee, located near Chattanooga where the shooting took place.

His father reportedly is employed by the City of Chattanooga Public Works Department and as of 2005 was appointed to be an unarmed special policeman by the Chattanooga City Council, reports Business Insider.

That comes despite the fact that Youssuf Abdulazeez was investigated several years ago for donating money to an organization possibly connected to a foreign terrorist organization. He was on a terrorist watch list and even was questioned during a trip out of the country, but eventually his name was taken off the terrorist list.

Experts have said the attack by the 24-year-old Abdulazeez fits the mold of attacks Islamic State (ISIS) has called for, although FBI officials on Thursday night said they don’t have “anything that directly ties” the attacker to any foreign terrorist organizations.

The attacker, seen driving an open-top Ford Mustang, first went to a joint military recruiting center in a strip mall and sprayed it with gunfire, riddling the glass facade with bullet holes. He then drove off to a Naval Reserve Center about 6 miles away, fatally shooting the four Marines before being shot and killed in a firefight with police.

Abdulazeez’s Palestinian connection is particularly notable given the similarities of his attack on an army base with the 2009 deadly shooting rampage at the Fort Hood army base, conducted by Palestinian American Army Major Nidal Hasan.

Hasan admitted to conducting the shooting as an Islamist terror attack, during which he shouted “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is greater), although initial government reports on the attack played it down as a case of “workplace violence.”

It was revealed by the counter-terror SITE Intelligence Group that Abdulazeez this week uploaded two blog posts about Islam, describing life as “short and bitter” in one, and warning Muslims not to miss “the opportunity to submit to Allah” in the other.
