You wanted attention, and yesterday, you got it. Only, you chose the wrong people to seek that attention from.…
You did not get the attention of our weak President. He tweeted his support for your medieval holiday following your cowardly attack. You did not get the attention of our useless and corrupt Congress. They were too busy lining their pockets.
When you attacked those four Marines, you got the attention of every one of our 186,800 active duty Marines, along with every Marine who ever served.
You just stirred up hate, discontent, and malice within a group of people who relish the idea of engaging the enemy.
There is something you obviously don’t yet know about Marines…
The brotherhood we share is stronger than the challenges we face, the weapons we master, or the enemies we destroy.
You will learn that soon though.
You attacked a group of men who bond over the smell of gunpowder and misery—and enjoy it. You didn’t attack America’s leaders, you attacked America’s Marines, and that is a battle you are not prepared for.
You see, we won’t play by the rules you’re accustomed to seeing. When you play in our backyard, we don’t have to answer to any chain of command. We will not follow ridiculous ROEs crafted by a spineless bureaucrat to appease some goat herding tribal leader. And we won’t be wearing uniforms so that you can easily ambush us.
Nope. None of that shit.
When you think you’re walking into a target-rich environment, you’re really walking into an ambush.
That pudgy, middle-aged guy wearing khakis in the mall, who unbeknownst to you, is a former 0311 and armed, will dump your sorry ass before you have a chance to scream “allah snackbar.” And that soccer mom pushing a stroller, she’s got a Glock and will happily leave you gasping in a pool of your own blood before she lets you hurt her children.
We are here and we still have the training and experience to wage war, whether here or abroad. And wage war we will. Every one of us are willing to fight and die to protect our Marine Corps brothers and sisters, our families and friends, and our way of life.
And we will win, because while you fight to destroy what you hate, we fight to protect what we love.

My comments: The United States Military has gone berserk. Making soldiers wear high heels and deploying our soldiers on foreign ships is insanity. And there’s tons more, and we all know it.

Faced with a shortage of U.S. Navy ships, the Marine Corps is exploring a plan to deploy its forces aboard foreign vessels to ensure they can respond quickly to global crises around Europe and western Africa.
The initiative is a stopgap way to deploy Marines aboard ships overseas until more American vessels are available, said Brig. Gen. Norman Cooling, deputy commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa.
The Marines will be able to respond quickly to evacuate embassies or protect U.S. property and citizens, a need highlighted by the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador.
“There’s no substitute for U.S. amphibious” vessels, Cooling said. “We’re looking at other options” in the meantime, he added.
The Marines have been working with Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and other close allies to determine the suitability of the foreign ships for U.S. personnel and aircraft.
The units would be designed for limited operations and not major amphibious assaults. A ground force of about 100 to 120 Marines would be deployed along with three or four Ospreys, which fly like airplanes but can take off and land like helicopters.
The U.S. Navy has 30 amphibious ships but says it needs 38 to fulfill war fighting requirements. It won’t reach that level until 2028 because of budget constraints, according to the Navy.
Critics say the Navy has allowed its amphibious capabilities to decline.
“Allowing the continued atrophy of the Navy-Marine Corps team’s amphibious capacity is simply not an option given the national security challenges facing the United States and its allies,” said Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va., a member of the Armed Services Committee, in an email statement.
Much of the Navy’s current amphibious fleet is being used in the Pacific — where the U.S. military is attempting to respond to an expansionist China — and the Middle East, where it is responding to an endless series of crises.
Fighting in Ukraine and chaos in Libya have raised concerns about the need for forces who can respond quickly to events in Europe and Africa.
The U.S. has deployed land-based forces in Spain, Italy and elsewhere, which places them closer to crises in North Africa. But Marines aboard ships can usually get closer to the action and respond more quickly.
Cooling said it would likely be more than a year before agreements would be in place to allow for regular deployments of contingents of Marines on the foreign ships.
In additional to technical requirements, such as testing the ability of ships to carry U.S. aircraft and equipment, the United States would have to reach agreements separately with individuals or operate under NATO authorities.

Campus Reform reports that a former active-duty Marine who served two combat tours in Iraq and is diagnosed with combat-related PTSD was suspended from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi after he requested to meet with a non-Muslim counselor in the school’s Office of Counseling and Disability Services.
In addition to serving in the Marine Corps, Jeremy Rawls worked as a private contractor in Afghanistan and was a member of the Army National Guard for seven years. He was on active-duty in Iraq during the Second Battle of Fallujah—named the bloodiest battle of the Iraq War—and says he’s lost many friends to suicide due to PTSD.
Rawls, who is pursuing a degree in English with a minor in education, was originally paired with a female counselor in traditional Muslim dress during his initial visit. “It’s not that I didn’t want to participate,” Rawls said. “I didn’t want to traumatize her and it wasn’t a good environment to be talking about [my disabilities] with that specific person.”
Since February, the senior has struggled to maintain good grades and reclaim the work-study position he’d procured through the local VA after administrators suspended him and labeled him a threat to himself and other students. In an email notifying Rawls of his suspension, Associate Dean of Students Jonathan Ambrose said administrators and the Student Intervention Team have a
due diligence in not only the protection of yourself, but also the campus community as a whole from potential harm or the threat there of. You are not permitted to be on campus for any reason or attend class during the duration of the Interim Suspension unless you have written permission.
According to Rawls, the school never spoke with “a single professor” about his grades or behavior prior to suspending and subsequently removing him from the work-study position. “To have been a marine and to tell us we’re a threat… that’s actually a compliment,” said Rawls. “But telling me I’m a threat to others was extremely offensive.”
Rawls said his attempts to meet with staff members to discuss changing counselors were repeatedly ignored until recently. “Their response was suspending me pending a mental evaluation which I provided and then they put me on further restriction and a reintegration program,” Rawls said.
Last Thursday Rawls met with administrators in an effort to begin resolving the matter and to ensure that he is able to fully participate in academics and extracurricular activities in the coming school year. “They asked me what I wanted and I told them I want to be a normal student and I want my job back,” Rawls said.
“The college itself is very supportive, there is just an ignorance toward veterans with PTSD and they are demonized so much by the media which led to confusion about what they [MC administrators] were dealing with,” Rawls said. The committed student and proud veteran believes his school’s actions reflect the need for “cultural change.”
“If they’ll do this to me, and I’m one of the most outspoken veterans on campus, they’ll definitely do this to others,” Rawls said.

(INTELLIHUB) — Fears of a martial scenario are reaching new heights amid the massive buildup leading into Jade Helm 2015. From troops patrolling residential neighborhoods to dirty bomb simulations, realistic military drills are being seen at previously unheard of levels.
Now, footage taken in late March 2015 highlights United States Marines practicing their riot control skills, complete with angry protesters confronting a group of armed military personal. The Operational Readiness Excercise took place at the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, Virginia and included infantrymen and artillerymen with Golf Company and Echo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment.
Interestingly enough, the photos and video were actually released by the military itself in a move that shows that this training is actually something that they want the American people to see.
“The media production aspect of this is chilling because it shows they are doing this in full public view. They want this to be seen because they want the public to accept Marines not police conducting riot control during the coming martial law and societal breakdown,” said NextNewsNetwork founder Gary Franchi.
Releasing the footage also allows the military to then appear on mainstream media telling the public that the training isn’t a secret so don’t listen to those pesky conspiracy theorists.
Photos of the training show troops firing non lethal weapons at the protesters as well practicing other riot control techniques. The captions that accompanied the pictures also made sure to mention that the training was for overseas deployment.
A press release that accompanied the footage included the tried and true cover story of overseas preparation.
This, despite the fact that in foreign countries the military almost always leaves controlling the population in the hands of local authorities. It also totally ignores the fact that in most footage showing military riot training role players are seen yelling things about their rights under the Constitution.
“Consider they are hypothetically operating within an embassy,” said Sgt. Andrew S. Wilbur, a non-lethal weapons instructor with the Expeditionary Operations Training Group and a native of Richland Center, Wisconsin. “Instead of going directly to use of lethal force, they’ll have capabilities, such as riot formations and non-lethal munitions, to help combat the threat of unruly crowds.”
Some participants said the 10-day training course was more taxing than they anticipated. Several Marines volunteered to play the part of angry protesters, while the rest of the Marines practiced riot-control drills taught in the course.
The sheer amount of training that has taken place in the last few years, especially this year in the lead up to Jade Helm makes comments like those given above by Sgt. Wilbur fall on deaf ears to Americans who follow alternative news sources. Add this to the fact that local police forces and the military have already declared American protesters as enemies in the past and the very real possibility of troops taking on the American people becomes clear.
“The Marines are training for riot and crowd control on American soil where Tea Partiers and Constitutionalists are constantly demonized by politicians and the media. In the event of civil unrest these same Marines could deploy this training upon Americans,” said Franchi.
