Muslims elected as majority of Michigan city council, first in U.S. history

For the first time in history, Muslims are now a majority in a U.S. city council.

The city is Hamtramck, an enclave of Detroit, Michigan, with a population of 22,423.

Cathaleen Chan reports for Christian Science Monitor, Nov. 8, 2015, that Hamtramck made history when it became what is likely the first city in America to elect a Muslim-majority city council.

Historically Polish, Hamtramck voted three Muslims onto the six-member city council, one of whom was an incumbent Muslim council member not up for reelection this year. This means that the council now has a two-thirds Muslim majority — 4 out of 6. The mayor, Karen Majewski, is Polish.

According to Bill Meyer, a Hamtramck community leader who isn’t Muslim, the election was a landslide: “The election was far from close, with the three Muslim winners each gaining over 1,000 votes, while the other three candidates garnered less than 700…

Right Wing Nazis: The Big Lie

Traditionally the political spectrum in the United States runs from Big Government on the left side of the spectrum to no government at all (anarchy) on the extreme right of the spectrum. This is not rocket-science folks: Big Government on the left; limited or no government on the right> – capiche?

Now you tell me, how do the Nazis, an offshoot of Big Government fascism, end up on the right side of the political spectrum (let alone the far right)? Go ahead, I’ll wait.

I’ll save us any further delay—there is no legitimate reason for the Nazis to be labeled right wing, let alone “extreme” right wing. The fact that most people blithely accept the “common wisdom” that Nazis were/are a right wing ideology is due to the Left’s hugely successful ploy to foist one of their own worst failures onto the shoulders of the political right. This “Big Lie” is perhaps more responsible for muddying the waters of political discourse than any other single factor. Big Government ideologies belong on the LEFT side of the political spectrum—period.

That is not to say that similar ideologies get along like peas in a pod – they, of course, quite often do not. It is not uncommon for them to detest each other with a visceral passion. One need only look at the ongoing bloodshed between Shiite and Sunni Muslims to see the sort of internecine conflict I’m referring to.

When the fascists fell out of favor with the much more numerous and influential communists in the 1920s, what better way for the communists to defame their fellow leftists than to hang the noxious appellation of (gasp) “right wing” on them?

After Hitler attacked Stalin the communist defamation of fascists went into overdrive, and following WW II the Left had even more reason to distance themselves from the fascists, due to the atrocities committed by the Nazi version of Big Government. The right wing has been stuck with the Nazis and fascism ever since – despite the fact that it makes no sense whatsoever.

This wrongheaded labeling has led to some perplexing head-scratchers that would have stumped Solomon on a good day. Ezra Pound was a right wing extremist? Really? Mussolini and Hitler, who blatantly, obviously, and undeniably practiced a form of Big Government tyranny—the very anti-thesis of limited government conservatism—were right wing extremists? Really?

No, not really. It’s all smoke ‘n’ mirrors, razzle-dazzle verbal gymnastics. The way the Left successfully slipped their disreputable Nazi cousin into the right wing’s “family tree” is one for the books. Credit or blame goes mainly to academia and the media, especially the media. (It is worth mentioning in passing that a proper understanding of where fascists belong on the political spectrum throws such things as the CIA’s “Operation Paperclip” into a more revealing and edifying light).

Speaking of the media, it was yet another article in the print media mentioning “extreme right wing Nazis” that got my dander up and resulted in this article. It appears that German neo-Nazis are opposed to “Mutti” Merkel’s smugly pompous and insanely irresponsible immigration policies – as well they should be. But their stance on immigration is beside the point. Today’s neo-Nazis are no more to be conflated with the right wing than Hitler’s Brown Shirts.

Conservatives, i.e. the right wing, are generally aficionados of small but effective government, as opposed to a (left wing) bloated and unresponsive government. To call Nazis – whose policies personified tyrannical big government—“right wing” is beyond ludicrous.

I am so sick and tired of the slanderous leftist shibboleth of “right wing Nazi” I could scream. Wake up, people – please! The Nazis were, are, and forever will be LEFT wing. The left are recognized masters of a chameleon-like ability to switch from one innocuous sounding political label to another. “We the people” need to nail them down on this one at least.

Whether you hate and despise the Nazis or consider them the best thing since sliced bread is irrelevant to my point here – which is, in case you missed it, that the Nazis were and are a Left wing phenomenon, as are all variants of fascism. It is vitally important that “we the people” get straight about this. Leave the Left to their delusions and verbal gymnastics; their tyrannies and bloodshed – “we the people” must deal in truth and, hopefully, a brighter future.

In order to make that brighter future a reality it is essential that we stop believing the lies so slyly and incessantly fed to us for so many years by a thoroughly corrupt media – a media that is demonstrably in the pocket of Big Government, Big Business, and Big Banking. Our “news” outlets have become mainly partisan propaganda/entertainment venues pushing a liberal agenda of “sex and soma,” “bread and circuses” – or “cage fights and fantasy football” as Sen. Ted Cruz recently put it.

Getting back to Nazis: I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are a politically informed reader who is aware that the label Nazi is a greatly abbreviated version of Hitler’s political party, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, and furthermore that you know that the English translation of Hitler’s political party is “National-socialist German Workers’ Party.”

If we take out the redundant “National” and “German” from the name we are left with “Socialist Workers’ Party.” Hmmm. (By the by, it is pretty close to the mark to say that fascism is/was a national variant of Marxism, while (Stalinist) communism is/was a global version – closely related cousins elbowing for room at the same table. You can see the potential for conflict…and ad hominem attacks).

Okay, so let’s say you know all that—question: does “Socialist Workers’ Party” sound “extreme right wing” to you?

Not to me either. So…Hitler’s “Socialist Workers’ Party” practiced a left wing variant of Big Government tyranny called “Fascism,” which somehow or another wound up being labeled a limited-government right wing ideology. How the heck does that work?

That works because leftist scribes made sure it worked – no mean feat, to give credit where it’s due. The Left managed to not only distance themselves from the Nazis, but more importantly perhaps, they also managed to saddle the Right with the Left’s mess. As I say, no mean feat.

Please do not take my word for any of this – do your own research and connect the dots yourself. If you have an open mind and are astute enough to steer clear of the more obvious propaganda outlets (left and right), then it is likely that the truth shall set you free.

Once you are aware of the truth behind the “Big Lie” you will notice it popping up over, and over, and over again. Its appearance should become a universal sign of untrustworthiness among “we the people.”

When I hear or read a news venue of any sort using the slanderous, illogical lie “right wing Nazi” then the veracity of their entire output becomes immediately suspect. As long as “we the people” keep unquestioningly swallowing the poisonous pap prepared for us by the elites, they will be more than happy to keep dishing it out.

The REAL Raw Story – Vicky Davis

This is Part 1 of a 2 Part story.

After reading the Raw Story titled Militia Warns Against Refugee Invasion (linked from Drudge Report last night ) about the III% March against the Refugee Resettlement Program in Boise last Sunday, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that they pulled out their boilerplate story changed a few variables, took a quote out of context, emphasized it and published their smear piece. They drew their slant from the story published on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website: III Percenters Ride Wave of Islamophobia in Idaho to Lead Anti-Refugee Protests. Because the Raw Story website and the SPLC have painted the III% with a brush they don’t deserve, TVOI News is going to tell the REAL Raw Story – the story behind the story that you will never see in the mainstream media.

The name of the III% event was March against the Refugee Resettlement PROGRAM. Why are the III% marching against the program? Because the program is redistributing massive numbers of people from war torn areas like Syria where the people cannot be properly vetted as Michael Steinbach, Director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division testified to in a Congressional hearing last February.

First to correct the record, the III% of Idaho is not a militia. They support and exercise their 2nd Amendment right to carry firearms and most of the men are veterans. They know how to use their weapons and they are prepared to do so only when necessary. They are law abiding citizens that are more properly characterized as Minutemen, Minutewomen, Minutechildren and MinuteSenior Citizens who stand ready to defend our country and our way of life from all enemies both foreign and domestic. Brandon Curtiss, the President of the group is a former police officer. The III% is not anti-government, they are pro-good government and anti-corrupt government right in line with the thinking of the majority of Americans.

There is no need to dwell on the falsehoods of the Raw Story and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Their reputation precedes them. It’s becoming a badge of honor among the right to be targeted by the Southern Poverty Law Center. It means you’re over the target when they start firing at you. We’ve had enough of the communist CRAP (this is Idaho – we say it like it is) from this organization that was started by a pervert and a fraud so it doesn’t matter what they write. I’ve probably given them too much space already. What we need to do instead is to focus our attention on the counter-protestors at the III% March Against the Refugee Resettlement Program. These are the people who profess to “love the refugees”. They don’t give a damn about their fellow citizens even though they cloak themselves in religion.

The first counter-protestor to look at is this man:

So who is this man collecting chump change for the rich and powerful? His name is Alex Neiwirth and he is currently employed as a Special Education teacher by the Nampa School District. Prior to that position, Alex was a Field Representative at the National Association of Government Employees (NAGE). Who is NAGE? It’s one and the same with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) headquartered in Quincy, MA.

“You will sometimes hear NAGE referred to as SEIU Local 5000. NAGE affiliated with SEIU in 1982 to become part of the largest and fastest-growing union in North America, with more than 2 million members.”

The SEIU actively supports illegal immigration (cheap labor – service jobs) because it expands their membership – it’s a win-win for union employers and the SEIU because the dues are the same regardless of citizenship and paycheck amount.

Another interesting person in the crowd is this man with the New York City Fire Department (NYFD) cap. It’s not known who he is, but an educated guess would be that he is either a union

organizer or perhaps he is working in some capacity on the Enhanced 911 system that is the center core of the Fusion Center panopticon for port security – inland port security in Idaho. Or perhaps he is both.

The “Goths”

Catty-corner from the Capitol steps was a small group of “Goths”. Goths are Luciferians – Satan worshippers although the juvenile cult inductees may not understand that initially. This little pod tried to disrupt the III% speakers by making loud bizarre noises that sounded more like a bull elk during the rut than it did human sounds. Their costumes with their black painted fingernails are supposed to be scary but this trio – later to be joined by a fourth just looked silly. They are however among the group who really are the domestic terrorists. They are chameleons who insert themselves into patriot groups but their brand of “freedom” is anarchy – elimination of government, elimination of borders, etc.

(For later viewing… get a load of this). They don’t all necessarily look like freaks all the time, but the black fingernails are the calling cards when the chameleons do come out.

The Religious Actors

Across the street from the Capitol where the III% March rallied, were the religious chameleons. They are international socialists who use religion as a cover.

United Church of Christ

The Interfaith Alliance is an association of religious associations that is collectivizing at the global level under the leadership of the World Council of Churches. The Christian followers apparently believe that these are the end times and Jesus or God will be returning to the earth to rule. In the patriot communities, these are always the people who encourage others to just stand down and let everything happen because it is prophesied. People who are not so blind and brainwashed however, understand that what is happening is the rise of the anti-Christ.

One World, One Religion

Recently, the Archbishop of Canterbury was in New York to speak to the Council on Foreign Relations. One info-bomb he dropped was that the Anglican Communion (Church of England and derivations) and the Catholic Church are taking actions towards reconciliation.

Taking it up a Notch

Back in February, the White House held a three-day summit on combating violent extremism. The purpose of the conference was to announce a pilot program in the hotspot of radical Muslim recruitment amongst the Somali diaspora in Minnesota. The following is a clip from that conference in which an Imam from the World Peace Organization gave an opening prayer.

What is the World Peace Organization?

“Our plan for world peace is based on two proven concepts—the U.S. Constitution and the cooperation of nature. The U.S. Constitution has kept a land of diverse cultures and religions at peace for over 230 years, and nature has functioned perfectly for billions of years, creating a sense of abundance for all.

The World Peace Plan creates an international government based on fair and equitable practices, an additional layer of government over what already exists. It does not attempt to change what now exists in any country. Change must come from within the country, when the people have evolved to that point that they see the need to change. Every nation, culture, religion and individual has the right to be respected.

The website is cheesy and seemingly unimportant but don’t forget, the Imam representative of this organization was invited to the White House Conference on Combating Violent Extremism and it seems that the way Obama plans to combat it is to surrender our country to them and I’ll show you how they are doing it in Part 2.

Indiana Baby Dies in His Sleep Days After Receiving 6 Vaccine Doses

With great sadness, a Columbia City, Indiana, family shared with us that their infant son recently lost his life after receiving routine vaccinations and Tylenol.

One year-old Michael Whitesell loved playing with his older brother, Keegan. They were always together. No one predicted they would be forced apart after Baby Michael was vaccinated.

Michael Eugene Whitesell was born on September 30, 2014.

At the age of one, on October 19, 2015, he was taken in for his one year well-child visit. He received the MMR, varicella, hepatitis A, and flu shot vaccines. This is six vaccine doses.

Three days after this well visit, Michael had a slight fever. His pediatrician suggested to his parents that they give him some medication to reduce the fever. His parents gave Michael some Tylenol and his fever went down.

Michael seemed normal and was back to his old self. He was eating well and appeared to be fine. He even went to bed at the usual time and fell asleep in his crib.

Early the next day, just after seven o’clock in the morning, his mother, Brittney, found him lying on his stomach, cold, lifeless, and blue.

 She called 911.

While on the phone, Michael’s dad, Thomas, performed CPR on him. Both parents were in so much shock and just wanted him to come back to life, but he was already gone. Nothing they could do would bring him back.

Michael passed away on October 23, 2015, less than four days after he was vaccinated and given Tylenol.

Michael was found lying on his stomach but did not die from suffocation; the coroner already ruled this out. An autopsy was performed on Michael, but the results will not be given to his family for another two months or longer.

Michael’s Parents Were Investigated And His Older Brother Was Removed By CPS

Both Michael and Keegan were being raised by their Aunt Brittney and Uncle Thomas Whitesell since birth. Their biological mother, Thomas’s sister, lives with some medical issues associated with epilepsy and the children’s biological fathers haven’t really been around to take on the parenting role, so the boy’s mother entrusted her brother Thomas and his wife to raise these children.

 Everyone was loved and happy and the children’s birth mother has always been in their life.

After years of trying to have children of their own without success, Brittney and Thomas felt blessed to provide a loving home for their nephews. They enjoyed being parents and loved raising Michael and Keegan.

When it came time to take the children in for their well child visits, Brittney and Thomas trusted the doctors with their children’s lives. They had their children vaccinated because they were just doing what the doctor recommended.

They didn’t know how harmful vaccines could be, until it was too late.

After Michael died, a routine investigation was done by Indiana’s Child Protective Services (CPS) and Michael’s older brother Keegan was removed from their home, in part because Brittney and Thomas are the children’s aunt and uncle, not their biological parents.

Keegan is only three years old and is now living with Brittney’s grandmother. Thomas and Brittney have been told Keegan will remain there at least until the autopsy report comes back.

Being investigated after a baby dies at home, after vaccination, is what grieving parents are put through. Investigators are sometimes looking to blame the parents, instead of the vaccines.

 In this situation, it is hard to think CPS has a child’s best interest in mind when they know Keegan just lost his little brother and now they’ve taken him away from the only parents he knows.

Michael and his older brother Keegan were always with each other playing and they loved each other very much. Keegan needs his parents, to help him grieve. Telling him he can’t stay with those he knows as his mom and dad does not seem to be in the best interest of Keegan.

After having to accept Michael had passed away, and then to have Keegan taken away, Thomas wrote,

 “It sucks not being able to grieve with our three year old boy ourselves, they treat us as criminals when we did nothing wrong.”



MMR Vaccine Package Insert Lists Death As An Associated Risk

The CDC and vaccine manufacturers admit life-threatening allergic reactions and death can be the outcome of receiving any vaccine. [1]

The MMR vaccine Michael received is actually a 3-in-1 vaccine. The MMR vaccine is associated with these risks shown in the image provided, taken from the package insert. These risks clearly show that Michael suffered injuries related to the vaccines given to him, but the medical examiner and investigators who took Keegan away have yet to take notice.

Far too many parents have been put in this situation, being blamed for their child’s vaccine injuries. The vaccines cannot be ignored; they are hurting people and the government admits this every time a vaccine injury award gets paid.

The fact that death is listed as an associated risk of just one vaccine should be enough to bring attention to investigators dealing with the loss of a child after the child had a recent doctor’s visit. Parents need to read the vaccine package inserts and learn these risks. [2]

Medical Examiners Don’t Have The Tools To Prove Vaccines Killed A Person

Giving more than one vaccine or a combination vaccine to a child helps vaccine manufacturers cover up related injuries because it is too hard to prove which vaccine harmed the person. There is no way for a medical examiner to prove which vaccine, or if all of the vaccines, caused the death of Michael.

Vaccine manufacturers are required to list side effects and associated risks on the package inserts, but this is only correlative data, and not the same as making the claim the vaccines cause these injuries. This limits the vaccine-injured community from being acknowledged.

You will find many people in the pro-vaccine community who say there is no proof Michael, or any other person, died from the vaccines. Remind yourself of the reason why: Since vaccine manufacturers don’t have to publish causal reaction data, only correlative data, health officials and drug makers can keep on saying there is no proof vaccines cause any of these listed adverse reactions, which includes death.

This is one of the main reasons vaccines are not being listed on autopsy reports or listed as the cause of death in people dying after vaccination. At most, parents are sometimes told of a plausible connection, but never guaranteed the answer.

Common sense and raw observations reveal that vaccines are killing many children and adults. Michael was healthy when he went in to receive those vaccines, and he changed after the shots.

If a medical examiner doesn’t have the tools to prove the vaccines killed Michael, why do parents who have their other children removed from the home, like Keegan was, have to wait until the autopsy results come back, when the results are not likely to reveal the truth? 

Parents are sick and tired of the vaccine-injury cover-up. They are demanding the truth be told on their child’s autopsy report and death certificate. When the outcome to the vaccine experiment proves through observation that many healthy infants are dying soon after vaccination, one must consider that as causative. Correlation can equal causation.

As we sit and wait for those autopsy results to come back, we are reminded of the many other parents speaking up, admitting that vaccines are not being mentioned on the autopsy report.

We do hope Michael’s autopsy report reveals he was recently vaccinated with six vaccine doses and that his parents were told by the doctor to give Tylenol to Michael after the shots, with no mention of the further harm this could cause.

Michael’s parents know the vaccines took his life. It doesn’t matter what someone reports on a piece of paper. Michael’s parents have learned from others what to expect, to not expect the vaccines to even be listed on the autopsy report because it seems they never are.

Parents Should Be Able To Decline An Autopsy If The Autopsy Won’t Report The Truth

Currently, it is mandatory for a child to undergo an autopsy if the child died suddenly or for any unexpected death. This may sound useful in theory, but when these deaths are caused by vaccination and other children are being removed from the home, dependent on autopsy results, and the true results will not be listed, parents are dealing with a big problem.

It is unacceptable that a medical examiner doesn’t have to list recent vaccines on the autopsy report, or the child’s recent hospital or emergency room visits associated with a vaccine reaction occurring just before the child died.

Parents expect to be told the truth on the report when an autopsy is performed on their child, and if that includes mentioning the vaccines being the plausible cause of death, parents expect the vaccine(s) and reactions to be listed, but often, they are not.

Parents understand the purpose of an autopsy being performed is to help give them answers, so they can grieve with the knowledge of what caused their child to pass.

After a child has already suffered from the vaccines, having their body dissected to learn what happened to them is only acceptable to parents when they are then told the truth. 

Covering up these deaths associated with vaccine injuries creates another problem for these families. Parents who lose a child to vaccines often have to see their scarred child’s body because of the autopsy procedure. 

If vaccines are the true reason the child died, and the vaccines are intentionally being left off of the autopsy report and death certificate, parents should have the right to decline an autopsy. However, current laws have been put in place to make an autopsy mandatory in these situations.

Those in the vaccine-injured community already living this nightmare know Michael’s autopsy report will probably reveal an unexplained cause of death. If he stopped breathing, the medical examiner doesn’t have to report the vaccines caused him to stop breathing. 

Vaccines can and do affect the brain and cause respiratory failure. From viewing the list of associated risks of the vaccines Michael received, we know this is the most plausible cause of why he died. Just like so many before him.

From Protesting Vietnam to Demanding “Safe Spaces” – What Happened to America’s College Kids?

I grew up hearing stories of protest. About those years, a decade or so before I was born, during which America’s youth rebelled against the prevailing establishment, and forever changed the nation’s course in some meaningful ways.

Of course, many of you will accurately state that not much about the imperial state has actually changed since those days of protest, and that in fact, the out of control abuse of power both abroad and at home has gotten far worse in the subsequent decades. I will concede this point, but want to add a caveat. Certain things really did change, particularly with regard to racial discrimination in these United States. Not to say things are perfect, but to discount the significant gains achieved in this regard would be unfair.

Nevertheless, as far as the “shadow government” is concerned, not much has changed. Other than the fact that the status quo learned important lessons from those years of rebellion, and was forced to operate even more secretly than it did before. As an example, the military-industrial complex learned that it couldn’t have genuine journalists running around war zones after images taken in Vietnam shocked the nation and helped turn popular sentiment against it. As such, reporters in war zones these days are nothing more than propagandists and imperial shills. Indeed, increasingly effective propaganda and a captured corporate media has probably been the single most important tool used by the shadow government to maintain and consolidate control over all these years. In a nutshell, people have been dumbed down, as well as mentally and emotionally castrated, to the point of being almost unable to rebel against anything of real importance.

Which brings me to the point of this post. The reason I brought up the civil disobedience and activism of the 1960’s, is because it did at least represent a true conflict with that generation’s status quo, and it did in fact attempt to tackle some of the pressing issues of power, justice and freedom that existed at the time. This is in stark contrast to what passes as “activism” on college campuses today, which essentially amounts to “pro-censorship” students vigilantly defending an entirely invented and unconstitutional right to “not be offended.” Whereas the 60’s movements, for all their failings, were at least ostensibly about freedom (of the mind and body), today’s college movements are strikingly focused on shackling the mind, and turning campuses in unintellectual, zombie-filled wastelands.

Of course, while someone like myself might be tempted to just laugh off such infantile and pathetic “activism,” it is in fact one of the most dangerous trends facing modern American society. You’d think that a culture in which the most vibrant source of college protest centered around the defense of a non-existent right to not be offended, would be one where all other issues of national importance had been successfully addressed.

You’d never know there was an ongoing surveillance state panopticon systematically spying on everyone and trampling their constitutional rights. You’d never know that the U.S. government has special forces in 135 countries as it launches new wars almost every other week. You’d never know that the Federal Reserve, Washington D.C. and Wall Street had colluded to redirect all wealth into the hands of a few oligarchs via a centrally planned, criminally corrupt economic and financial system. You’d never know any of this, because America’s youth are focused on creating safe spaces for their precious feelings.

So this begs the question. Does intent matter? For all its failings, at least the 60’s protesters actually attempted to confront real issues, and sometimes even paid the highest price for doing so. Today’s college youth are not only not confronting any of the pressing issues of the day, but they aren’t risking anything at all, because they are the establishment.

For example, in almost all cases where coddled, thin-skinned students claim their feelings are hurt, school administrators bend over backwards to appease them, legality notwithstanding (see: Speechless – UCLA Engages in Absurd, Anti-Intellectual and Dangerous Attack on Campus Free Speech). In fact, if anyone is being discriminated against, it’s those rare and courageous professors who publicly stand up to this unconstitutional nonsense. Which brings me to today’s post about an ongoing incident at Yale.

As the always excellent Lenore Skenazy explains in her post: Mob of Yale Students Scream Profanities about Halloween Costume Insensitivity:

A Halloween message signed by 13 college administrators asked Yale students to be sensitive about the costumes they chose, so as not to demean, alienate or “impact” any groups or individuals.

But when the associate Master (faculty head) of one of the dorms on campus, early childhood educator Erika Christakis, wrote her own note to students suggesting that maybe we don’t want the authorities deciding what costume is or is not sensitive enough, you’d think she’d endorsed genocide.

Students, hundreds of them, insisted they longer felt “safe.” They protested. They screamed. They demanded her ouster, even though in her letter, Christakis bent over backwards to say that she knows that the costume guidelines came from “a spirit of avoiding hurt and offense.” What’s more:

I laud those goals, in theory, as most of us do. But in practice, I wonder if we should reflect…on the consequences of an institutional (which is to say: bureaucratic and administrative) exercise of implied control over college students.

…As a former preschool teacher…it is hard for me to give credence to a claim that there is something objectionably “appropriative” about a blonde-haired child’s wanting to be Mulan for a day….

Even if we could agree on how to avoid offense – and I’ll note that no one around campus seems overly concerned about the offense taken by religiously conservative folks to skin-revealing costumes– I wonder, and I am not trying to be provocative: Is there no room anymore for a child or young person to be a little bit obnoxious… a little bit inappropriate or provocative or, yes, offensive?

Well said, but here’s what happened next…

Over 700 angry Yalies (my alma mater) signed a petition saying that Christakis’ “offensive” letter “trivializes the harm done by these tropes” (stereotypes) and “invalidated” those hurt.

As the days passed, the outrage mounted, a until a mob surrounded Christakis’ husband, the sociologist/doctor/professor Nicholas. He is seen in this video being screamed at by a student swearing at him and insisting he and his wife step down, because their job is not to create an intellectual space, but a “safe space” for students.

Did you hear that? She claimed, in a completely unhinged rant, college “is not about creating an intellectual space.”

I have a two week year old infant at home, and I’ve yet to see him throw a temper tantrum anywhere in the ballpark of that student’s performance. Which confirms my belief, that my new role as father is the most important job I’ve ever taken on in my life, and one I take very seriously.

As such I want to leave you with the following question:

With students being coddled in a fantasy world of “safe spaces” and fear of “micro-aggressions,” can we really expect them to grow up to be adults capable of confronting real issues of money, power and imperial aggression?

Residents in the German town of Ellwangen are reporting that thousands of migrants who recently arrived are defecating on people’s gardens, staging riots in church and stealing from local stores, while police in the area struggle to cope with the disorder.

Ellwangen, which has a population of around 23,500 and a strong Catholic community, was recently inundated with 4,500 asylum seekers who are staying in the old army barracks on the edge of town.

The original plan was to house just 500 immigrants, but this quickly ballooned to ten times that figure, at which point “serious mass brawls and conflicts” began, prompting the police to be called out routinely. The state government is set to fork out €5.1 million euros of taxpayer money to renovate and expand the barracks.

A friend of a local reports that store owners are struggling to do any business since people are afraid to go into town because of the migrants.

“I read about serious theft problems in stores where ‘refugees’ walk in, take what they want or need, and walk out again without paying,” writes the individual. “In the beginning, grocery stores called the police, but stopped doing so after they were told to write up the losses and contact someone at the local municipality to reimburse them. (I had a verbal confirmation from a wife of a German police officer).”

Women are also afraid to walk into town alone, with reports of a woman being raped and a 10-year-old girl being sexually harassed.

“The most disturbing news he informed me about, however, was that the so called refugees go into churches to disrupt service. They would simply walk in and start to riot. ‘These people want to destroy us’, is what he said, literally. He is a very well educated business man; not someone inciting hatred against refugees. Most of the people living in that town and neighboring villages are honest, hard working people, trying to do good and be good, and now are forced to watch how their town and livelihoods are destroyed by the decision of the government to take in people that are violently opposed and opposite to the German and Christian culture.”

The report also states that residents have been forced to put up signs asking migrants not to defecate in their gardens, a common practice, and to use toilets instead.

According to the individual, anyone who criticizes the behavior of the migrants is immediately labeled a “Nazi”. Locals are so enraged that a dead cat was placed on the doorstep of the Mayor.

While Austrians are purchasing shotguns, the individual also adds that many Germans are buying pepper spray as a means of self-defense.

Similar stories are also emerging from all over Germany as small villages and towns begin to feel the impact of the migrant influx. In the post below, a woman relates how rapes, theft, the killing of pets and drug dealing all shot up after the arrival of asylum seekers.

For those who want less violent means used in handling protests, this seems to be the perfect fit. This is a riot control weapon that really works.

Non-toxic, non-lethal, but very effective. The Palestinians want it banned because it makes them feel degraded. I wonder how long the aroma lasts on a demonstrator. Looks like these guys may be eating outside for a while rather than around the family dinner table. Great stuff. The Israeli biomedical engineers have done it again.

Patriotic students are infuriated after the Pledge of Allegiance and the Presentation of Colors were removed from Seattle Pacific University’s Veteran’s Day chapel over fears they might offend people.

The university’s Military and Veteran Support Club was outraged by the chaplain’s decision. They called it a “slap in the face” of every soldier who fought, sacrificed and died for our freedoms.

SPU is a Christian university of the Free Methodist tradition – but the student population includes a diverse group of denominations – including some that ascribe to pacifism.

“The organizers decided not to include the pledge of allegiance and the presentation of colors during the November 10th chapel, given that there are diversity of views on campus whether such elements should be part of a Christian worship service,” read a statement from the university to Q13 Fox.

“By removing the presentation of the flag and the pledge of allegiance, SPU would not only disrespect students from the military and intelligence community on campus, but also eliminate any reference to the values and freedoms that make it possible for University Ministries to assemble at a chapel in the first place,” student Sarah Martin said.

University Chaplain Bo Lim had originally included both the pledge and the presentation of colors – but reversed his decision over concerns from a handful of students and faculty.

“If the purpose of the service was in part, an opportunity for the entire SPU community to grow in solidarity and support for our military community, I believe including the pledge and flag would work counter to that,” he wrote in an email obtained by Fox News and first reported by The College Fix.

Chaplain Lim pointed out that a large number of the faculty are from Anabaptist traditions.

“This Christian tradition is pacifist, and would object to Christians serving in the military, holding military Christian services, and having military or political symbols in church sanctuaries,” he wrote.

He went on to write in a lengthy letter than he would rather have people focused on supporting the veterans rather than whether or not there was a flag present in the chapel.

“Perhaps some of you have come from communities where there wasn’t a diversity of views on Christians serving in the military, the flag or the pledge,” he wrote. “But such is not SPU.”

Tell that to the Military and Veteran Support Club.

“As several veterans have already noted, their friends did not die for our country so that Americans could be ashamed of or made uncomfortable by their own flag,” they wrote in a Facebook message. https://www.facebook.com/spumvsc/

Sarah Martin, 21, founded the group when she was a freshman. She was also on the original planning committee for the Veteran’s Day Chapel.

“The pledge and the presentation of colors were in our original plans and then they took them out,” she told me.

Miss Martin wrote a powerful message urging the chaplain to reconsider his decision.

“By removing the presentation of the flag and the pledge of allegiance, SPU would not only disrespect students from the military and intelligence community on campus, but also eliminate any reference to the values and freedoms that make it possible for University Ministries to assemble at a chapel in the first place,” she wrote. “Furthermore, you are stripping the chapel of a deeper meaning that glorifies God.”

She went on to lecture the university’s chaplain that pledging and presenting does not mean they are worshipping the flag.

“I believe that eliminating the pledge will rob Christians of the opportunity to give God the glory for the blessings of our freedoms, which were preserved by our veterans and are symbolized by our flag,” she added.

Miss Martin told me in a telephone interview that she’s perplexed over their reasoning to remove the flag and pledge.

“It’s called the Veteran’s Day Chapel,” she said. “No one is forced to participate. No one is forcing them to stand and place their hand over their heart and recite the pledge.”

She said her phone lines have been flooded with students who took offense about the accusations they were not being sensitive to diversity.

“We want them to bring back the flag as they originally planned to do,” she said. “It’s a Veteran’s Day Chapel and if someone is uncomfortable with the flag, it is unlikely they would go to the chapel in the first place.”

Amen, Miss Martin. Preach!
