Veterans Administration Reforms That Will Make America Great Again

The current state of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is absolutely unacceptable. Over 300,000 veterans died waiting for care. Corruption and incompetence were excused. Politicians in Washington have done too little too slowly to fix it. This situation can never happen again, and when Donald J. Trump is president, it will be fixed – fast.

The guiding principle of the Trump plan is ensuring veterans have convenient access to the best quality care. To further this principle, the Trump plan will decrease wait times, improve healthcare outcomes, and facilitate a seamless transition from service into civilian life.

The Trump Plan Will:

  1. Ensure our veterans get the care they need wherever and whenever they need it. No more long drives. No more waiting for backlogs. No more excessive red tape. Just the care and support they earned with their service to our country.
  2. Support the whole veteran, not just their physical health care, but also by addressing their invisible wounds, investing in our service members’ post-active duty success, transforming the VA to meet the needs of 21st century service members, and better meeting the needs of our female veterans.
  3. Make the VA great again by firing the corrupt and incompetent VA executives who let our veterans down, by modernizing the VA, and by empowering the doctors and nurses to ensure our veterans receive the best care available in a timely manner.

The Trump Plan Gives Veterans The Freedom To Choose And Forces The VA To Compete For Their Dollars

Politicians in Washington have tried to fix the VA by holding hearings and blindly throwing money at the problem. None of it has worked. In fact, wait times were 50% higher this summer than they were a year ago. That’s because the VA lacks the right leadership and management. It’s time we stop trusting Washington politicians to fix the problems and empower our veterans to vote with their feet.

Under a Trump Administration, all veterans eligible for VA health care can bring their veteran’s ID card to any doctor or care facility that accepts Medicare to get the care they need immediately. Our veterans have earned the freedom to choose better or more convenient care from the doctor and facility of their choice. The power to choose will stop the wait time backlogs and force the VA to improve and compete if the department wants to keep receiving veterans’ healthcare dollars. The VA will become more responsive to veterans, develop more efficient systems, and improve the quality of care because it will have no other choice.

The Trump Plan Treats The Whole Veteran

We must care for the whole veteran, not just their physical health. We must recognize that today’s veterans have very different needs than those of the Greatest Generation.

The Trump Plan Will:

  1. Increase funding for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury and suicide prevention services to address our veterans’ invisible wounds. Service members are five times more likely to develop depression than civilians. They are almost fifteen times more likely to develop PTSD than civilians. This funding will help provide more and better counseling and care. More funding will also support research on best practices and state of the art treatments to keep our veterans alive, healthy and whole. With these steps, the Trump plan will help the veteran community put the unnecessary stigma surrounding mental health behind them and instead encourage acceptance and treatment in our greater society.
  2. Increase funding for job training and placement services (including incentives for companies hiring veterans), educational support and business loans. All Americans agree that we must do everything we can to help put our service men and women on a path to success as they leave active duty by collaborating with the many successful non-profit organizations that are already helping. Service members have learned valuable skills in the military but many need help understanding how to apply those skills in civilian life. Others know how to apply those skills but need help connecting with good jobs to support their families. Still others have an entrepreneurial spirit and are ready to start creating jobs and growing the economy. The Trump plan will strengthen existing programs or replace them with more effective ones to address these needs and to get our veterans working.
  3. Transform the VA to meet the needs of 21st century service members. Today’s veterans have very different needs than those of the generations that came before them. The VA must adapt to meet the needs of this generation of younger, more diverse veterans. The Trump plan will expand VA services for female veterans and ensure the VA is providing the right support for this new generation of veterans.
  4. Better support our women veterans. The fact that many VA hospitals don’t permanently staff OBGYN doctors shows an utter lack of respect for the growing number female veterans. Under the Trump plan, every VA hospital in the country will be fully equipped with OBGYN and other women’s health services. In addition, women veterans can always choose a different OBGYN in their community using their veteran’s ID card.

The Trump Plan Will Make The VA Great Again

The VA health care program is a disaster. Some candidates want to get rid of it, but our veterans need the VA to be there for them and their families. That’s why the Trump plan will:

  1. Fire the corrupt and incompetent VA executives that let our veterans down. Under a Trump Administration, there will be no job security for VA executives that enabled or overlooked corruption and incompetence. They’re fired. New leadership will focus the VA staff on delivering timely, top quality care and other services to our nation’s veterans. Under a Trump Administration, exposing and addressing the VA’s inefficiencies and shortcomings will be rewarded, not punished.
  2. End waste, fraud and abuse at the VA. The Trump plan will ensure the VA is spending its dollars wisely to provide the greatest impact for veterans and hold administrators accountable for irresponsible spending and abuse. The days of $6.3 million for statues and fountains at VA facilities and $300,000 for a manager to move 140 miles are over. The Trump plan will clean up the VA’s finances so the current VA budget provides more and better care than it does now.
  3. Modernize the VA. A VA with 20th century technology cannot serve 21st century service members and their needs. The VA has been promising to modernize for years without real results. The Trump plan will make it happen by accelerating and expanding investments in state of the art technology to deliver best-in-class care quickly and effectively. All veterans should be able to conveniently schedule appointments, communicate with their doctors, and view accurate wait times with the push of a button.
  4. Empower the caregivers to ensure our veterans receive quality care quickly. Caregivers should be able to easily streamline treatment plans across departments and utilize telehealth tools to better serve their patients. As we have seen from the private sector, the potential for new, innovative technology is endless. Abandoning the wasteful and archaic mindset of the public sector will give way to tremendously effective veteran healthcare.
  5. Hire more veterans to care for veterans. The more veterans we have working at the VA, the better the VA will be. They understand the unique challenges facing their community. To increase the number of veterans hired by the VA, this plan will add an additional 5 points to the qualifying scores of veterans applying for VA jobs.
  6. Embed satellite VA clinics in rural and other underserved areas. The Trump Administration will embed satellite VA clinics within hospitals and other care facilities in rural and other underserved areas. This step will ensure veterans have easy access to care and local hospitals and care facilities can handle the influx of patients without backlogs while tapping the specialized knowledge of VA health specialists.

Political Strategist: Hillary Clinton is “An Abuser of Women & Girls”

Roger Stone says Hillary hired private investigators to terrorize Bill Clinton’s rape victims

During an interview with Larry King, political strategist Roger Stone asserted that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s pro-women stance was a fraud given her past role in hiring people to terrorize women who alleged they were raped by Bill Clinton.

Stone, who now describes himself as a libertarian, just released a book entitled The Clintons’ War on Women and was previously a political advisor for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, although Trump subsequently fired him.

“The narrative of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, that she has been an advocate for women and girls, is just bogus,” Stone told King. “She is, in fact, an abuser of women and girls.”

Stone said the assertion was justified based on Hillary covering for her husband’s behavior.

“Bill is a sexual predator, very much like Bill Cosby,” said Stone. “I tracked 27 women that he has either assaulted or raped.”

When Larry King challenged Stone to identify the women, charging that they had “never come forward,” Stone named names.

“Many of them have…He doesn’t drug them, but he does attack them. He does assault them, and you know some of these names,” said Stone. “You know Juanita Broaddrick, you know Kathy Willey, you know Paula Corbin Jones, who he paid $850,000 in a settlement for. But you don’t know Liz Ward Gracen, Eileen Wellstone, Becky Brown, Helen Dowdy, Dorothy Kyle Browning, Christy Zercher. This list goes on and on and on.”

Stone emphasized that he was talking about the women Clinton had sexually abused, not his one night stands or mistresses, which Stone says would fill an encyclopedia.

Stone noted Hillay’s culpability for this behavior by asserting “she’s not just an enabler….she’s the one who hires the private detectives who wage a veritable terror campaign against these women to silence them.”

“What did she call them? Bimbos, whores, sluts, bitches, they’re her words not mine, these women unlucky enough to be sexually assaulted by her husband,” said Stone.

Stone cited the example of Kathleen Willey, a White House volunteer who claimed that she was groped by Bill Clinton in 1993.

After the alleged incident, Stone said Willey had her home ransacked, her windshield smashed, her tyres slashed and her cat strangled.

“She’s out jogging, a man jogs up to her all dressed in black – Jack Palladino (a private investigator) – and he says ‘how’s your cat, did you ever replace that cat? How are your kids Johnny and Sally, you know we know where they go to school – you’re not getting it are you?’”

Stone also said that if Donald Trump fails to win the Republican nomination, Hillary is assured of becoming President.

“All these other guys are in the club,” said Stone. “Can you picture Marco Rubio sticking his finger in her face and saying, ‘Hillary, when the biggest drug dealer in Arkansas got busted and he hired you as his lawyer, and then got a pardon from Governor Clinton, do you see anything wrong with that?’… You’ve got to take her on. You’re going to have to get in her face. I can’t see anyone else who’s going to be willing to do that. The Donald is fearless.”

When Larry King suggested that Stone was biased and that he had never investigated a Republican, Stone responded by telling him he had a book coming out called Jeb and the Bush Crime Family which would document how Prescott Bush funded the Nazis and how George H.W. Bush oversaw an operation that trafficked “millions of dollars of cocaine into the United States.”

Stone also pointed out how the Bushes and the Clintons worked together to steal vast sums of money from a charity that was supposed to help Haitian earthquake victims.

“They spend $10 million in Haiti, there’s $128 million missing, they close the non-profit and they answer no questions – they’re profiteering….it’s the Bush-Clinton crime syndicate,” said Stone.

Later in the show co-host Shawn King responded to Stone’s allegations by remarking she was “scared for his life.”

Larry King, who in a previous show had interviewed Donald Trump, said that he would attempt to get Hillary on a future show to respond to the allegations.

Daily Beast: Obama, Hillary Toying With ‘Civil War’ Over Gun Confiscation

The mere mention of confiscation is something that could literally rip the country apart

Daily Beast: Obama, Hillary Toying With 'Civil War' Over Gun Confiscation

On November 2, The Daily Beast pointed to recent statements from President Obama and Hillary Clinton regarding the implementation of Australian-style gun confiscation and suggested “civil war could erupt on American soil” if any administration actually tried to confiscate privately owned firearms.

The Daily Beast theoretically agreed that “confiscation on a massive scale” may be “the only way to solve American gun violence,” but they pointed out that it was not realistic and suggested Hillary risks causing irreparable divisions by talking about confiscation then mocking gun owners as conspiracy theorists waiting for “black helicopters” to come take their guns away.

According to The Daily Beast, confiscation was workable in Australia because there was no Second Amendment and the government only had to take 650,000 guns. That is a far cry from the “350 million” believed to be in Americans’ hands.

Yes, “350 million.”

But even more important than the number of guns is the depth of American “devotion” to them. And The Daily Beast observes that it is this devotion–this dedication to the philosophy and tradition underlying the right to keep and bear arms–that turns the mere mention of confiscation into something that could literally rip the country apart.

Global Supreme Court Will Be Ushered In This Month by UN Climate Summit

UN to further erode national sovereignty

This month, Nov 30- Dec 11, a UN Climate Conference will attempt to do what they failed to do 6 years ago in Copenhagen — establish a global regime, complete with a global court, global taxes and global enforcement mechanism. After their failure 6 years ago, globalists regrouped and brought in the Pope to make a moral case for global control and global redistribution of wealth.

We also look at how a NASA glaciologist corrects how climate alarmists selectively use satellite data in a fraudulent narrative of melting polar ice caps.

Fight the REAL cause of heart disease [Hint, it’s NOT cholesterol]

Daily Dose with Jack Harrison

Visit a doctor for any reason at all these days, and you’ll have to pay a price higher than any copay.

You’ll have to sit through yet another tiresome lecture on the supposed dangers of cholesterol!

Those guys drone on about LDL until you’re ready to tear whatever’s left of your hair right out of your head.

Meanwhile, you won’t hear a peep about the one measure that matters most.

It’s inflammation, the single most important risk factor for chronic disease including heart disease.

Your doc won’t talk about it, but I will — because new research reveals a simple, safe and inexpensive way to slash your levels of deadly inflammation and help cut your risk of disease far more effectively than fretting over cholesterol ever will.

It’s called N-acetylcysteine, but since it’s so hard to spell — and even harder to pronounce — even scientists just refer to it as NAC for short.

But it doesn’t really matter what you call it. What matters is that you get your hands on this stuff, because the new study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition finds that 1.8 grams of NAC per day can cut your levels of homocysteine by 12 percent, or triple the rate of a placebo.

This is critical, because 80 percent of heart attack patients have normal cholesterol — but most of them have high levels of homocysteine.

See, it’s not the cholesterol itself that’s the problem in your arteries. It’s when cholesterol sticks that you start to face serious risks.

And inflammation is practically the glue that causes it to stick.

That’s why one study found that every 5 mM/L boost in homocysteine levels can increase your risk of heart attack by 41 percent, while another found that cutting homocysteine levels by 25 percent will slash your risk of heart attack by 11 percent and stroke by 19 percent.

NAC alone will get you halfway there, and you can slash those levels even further with vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid.

Along with protecting your heart and preventing a stroke, cutting your homocysteine levels can also slash your risk of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

You won’t get all those benefits from cholesterol meds — but you WILL get it from safe inflammation-fighting supplements.

Sharing what REALLY matters,

Obama in Secret Pact With World’s Largest Muslim Country

REPOSTED FROM CONSERVATIVEBYTE.COM

Obama always seems to love Muslims.

Check it out:

President Obama says the U.S. and the world’s largest Muslim country will merge their economies under an agreement whose terms have not been disclosed to Congress or the public.

After Obama met with Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the White House Monday, Widodo said, “Indonesia intends to join the TPP,” referring to the TransPacific Partnership.

Indonesia is the most populous Muslim nation in the world with 250 million people. Obama attended elementary school in the country.

“I have a very personal interest in Indonesia given the fact that I spent time there as a child and have relatives who are Indonesian,” Obama said.

The TPP is a sweeping global regulatory pact. It establishes an international authority that will write rules for merging the U.S. economy with other countries in the partnership.

The administration reached an agreement on the TPP with 11 countries on four continents after negotiations that lasted more than five years. Indonesia was not involved in the negotiations.

But neither Congress nor the public have been allowed to see the final agreement the administration has negotiated. The president has not released the text of the agreement or the numerous side agreements attached to the TPP.

The administration describes the TPP as a “living agreement” that will be updated and which other countries can join in the future.

China, South Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan also have expressed interest in joining the TPP economic union.

But it appears the U.S. Congress will not have any say in the matter.

Earlier this year, Congress granted the president “fast track” trade promotion authority to negotiate the TPP and surrendered its ability to change whatever agreement the president proposes.

An amendment to the fast track bill would have required congressional approval before China could join the TPP. But the amendment, opposed by GOP leadership and the president, was defeated.

The unilateral move by the president to bring Indonesia into the TPP confirms charges by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., that Congress will have no role in approving changes as the partnership grows.

Sessions read the draft of the TPP agreement earlier this year and described it as “a nascent European Union.”

Like the European Union, the Transpacific Partnership calls for the free flow of people, goods and capital among member countries.

Iran claims it will send warships to the Atlantic Ocean

Comments from Dan Friedman: That was quick, wasn’t it? Iran leveraging Obama’s deal and already flexing its muscles on our doorstep. Did someone say it’ll take ten years before Iran will be a threat to the “international community?” Heh. At this rate, it won’t take five – and kaboom!

Iranian Navy commander claims the country will send a fleet of warships to the Atlantic Ocean to show its “prowess”.

Iran is planning to send a fleet of warships to the Atlantic Ocean in the near future, its Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced on Wednesday, according to the semiofficial Fars news agency.

“Our warships will soon berth at ports in the Atlantic Ocean,” he declared while addressing a welcoming ceremony in Iran’s northern port city of Anzali for the Iranian warships returning from a voyage to the Caspian Sea and Russian port of Astrakhan.

He pointed to the presence of Iranian warships in the Caspian Sea and Astrakhan port, and said, “The presence of Iranian warships in international ports shows the Iranian Navy’s prowess.”

Iran’s second fleet of warships, including a home-made destroyer, returned to the country’s territorial waters after a voyage to Russia on Wednesday, Fars reported.

According to the report, the voyage by the Iranian warships spotlighted an expansion of naval cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.

Iran often boasts in its media outlets of its military capabilities, though many times it is unclear whether these capabilities are real or whether the boasting is done to influence public opinion.

Two years ago, for example, Iran presented a new fighter jet, claiming it is able to evade radar systems.

Israeli experts subsequently cast doubt about the authenticity of the fighter jet, noting that Iran has no capability to build aircraft.

Recently, Iran held a real ballistic missile test which the United States and France later said violated UN sanctions.

The United States, Britain, France and Germany subsequently called on the United Nations Security Council’s Iran sanctions committee to take action over the test, saying the ballistic missile was “inherently capable of delivering a nuclear weapon.”

Canada is Losing it

Muslims are pressuring Canada too, and it looks like the people are not fighting back, if the election of a pro-Islam PM, Justin Trudeau, is any indication. This was reported last spring
