The Power of Persuasive Doubt

by Rev. Austin Miles

BIRMINGHAM 12/4/17–Destroying reputations, families, and careers has become a spectator sport. As noses become longer by telling fibs about people, ears become garbage cans that receives every nasty accusation tossed in that trash can. And garbage stinks. The more you are around rotten garbage the more YOU stink.

So what is the drive behind the talebearers, as these particular sinners are called in the Bible? One word….ATTENTION. People are drawn to someone who seems to have the inside track on prominent people. For a moment, the talebearers are the center of the conversation which they desperately crave. It is pathetic that these poor souls think this is the only worth they have. And this, good people, does not qualify as the ‘gift of tongues.’

The public is fascinated by gossip–the more bizarre the better. Gossip has become an addiction. The lives of gossipers become one continuous scavenger hunt as they examine every possible avenue to have their ears tickled by the latest scandal and possible scandals to tell others about.

So we know there are those whose lives revolve around the latest gossip to satisfy their need for acceptance. This is based on clinical mental issues. Then there are others who do it to simply destroy others and their families….they are called, politicians.

They are the worst. They lie, cheat and slander even setting up situations to make a rival look bad.

This is especially illustrated by the Communist Democrats who tried desperately to destroy Donald Trump when he was a candidate for the Oval Office, and now especially, Judge Roy Moore who is running as Senator for Alabama. What the George Soros Democrats have done to this man has been brutal. And so far, every “witness” coming against Judge Moore has PROVED to be lying. So now that these allegations have proved false, why have they not been put in jail for perjury?

One tactic that has been effective to harm the reputation of someone is by asking a question such as; “That woman that he just said hello to. That seemed to be an extra friendly ‘hello.’ What do you think?”  Or, “Does that look right to you?” All of these tonguenastics are used to try and create doubt as to the character of someone. This method is called, Persuasive Doubt.

The Democrats were given [this] time-proven weapon from Satan, yes, their creator, who first employed the question to create doubt in the world’s beginning by saying to Eve in The Garden of Eden; “Yea, hath God said they ye shall not eat of that one tree in the garden?”

God had told that first couple that they could eat of every tree of the garden except for that one tree. But with that question came doubts for Eve, which was the intention: “Wait, why can we not eat of that tree? That’s not right.” So she picked the apple (the Bible just says ‘fruit,’) took a bite and then gave it to Adam to eat, and….he did. That is woman power.

Atheists scoff at this story especially since it tells of a serpent coming to Eve in the garden and tempting her to eat the forbidden fruit. Actually, in this case it was not the snake we all know about today. The serpent  was in the form of a man so she would not have been spooked. And this is proved in the biblical account in Genesis 3. Take a look:

Starting in verse 14, God, Who was furious that the serpent had successfully tempted Eve to disobey one of His commandments, said unto the serpent: “Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field.  Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.’

The serpent, that obviously had been a man, instantly became a snake as we know the snake today. As it was commanded by God that this man would suddenly live on his belly and eat dust. Obviously a change had taken place. Plus the snake is not one of the most popular creatures.

Questions for the purpose of stirring doubt is not only in the plateau of politicians, but there are also cases among…..the preachers!  A few, not all….thank the Lord.

Many years ago I was an evangelist, traveling widely. God truly blessed these meetings with such dramatic manifestations of healing by the Holy Spirit, that often one would be spotlighted on a local radio program, such as a pastor’s daughter, born blind, received her sight. Everybody in town knew her.  Miracles DID take place at these services.

The New York section of The Assemblies of God held a pastor’s retreat in upstate New York. One pastor I seemingly bonded with, Rev. Morris Williams had a small Assemblies of God Church on Staten Island. The whole area was changing with a shifting population.

While playing Tennis with Rev. Williams at the retreat, he said, “I sure wish we had it in the budget to have you do a revival at our church. We have lost so many people due to the changes in the area.  We desperately need that but just don’t have the money to do it.”

“You don’t need any budget or money. I will come. You will have no transportation or living expenses since I live in Forest Hills, can take a subway and The Staten Island Ferry to get to and from your church. I’ll just need for you to pick me up and drop me off at the Ferry.” You can keep any collection money for the church.

The first night, only a handful of people were there, maybe a dozen at the most. I noticed an old woman with a very sad face sitting in the first row. After the service, everyone quietly left.  The next night was the same.

On the third night, I came early and Pastor Williams and I walked around the church 7 times, praying. At the service that night, the crowd (?) was the same. Then while praying, God put it on my heart that there was someone in the congregation that had a cat that was sick and about to die. The cat was white with a couple of big black spots. And that cat was more than just a cat, but was the only family the owner had. And God spoke to my heart to say that the cat would recover.

Again, no reaction. The people left quietly to go home.

The next night on the way to the church we encountered several cars going in the direction of the church. What was going on? We could barely find a parking place in the lot behind the church. The church was overflowing.

As I started to speak, that little lady with the sad face in the front row stood up and said, “Rev. Miles, I’ve got to speak.”  I invited her up.  She said, “Last night you talked about a kitty cat that was sick and going to die. That was my kitty cat and he was sick and about to die. And you were right, this was more than a cat, to me he was my whole family. And yes, he was white with two black spots.

“When I got home after service, he was running around, purring and jumping around. He was totally healed. Well, I got on the phone and called everybody I knew to tell them about it.”

The Faith Assembly of God in Staten Island was full for the rest of the week. A youth group had been formed. After the Revival services were concluded, the next Sunday morning, the pastor again got up before a ‘packed house.’ Then he said: “Well that Austin Miles really had a lot to say. But let me tell you, there is something very suspicious and wrong about a man his age that showed so much interest in a 12-year-old girl.  W H A T??

This young girl had severe problems with her home life. She walked back and forth to church on her own every service. We had bonded and she wanted to talk to me which I agreed. We went to Liberty Park in Lower Manhattan. I had bonded with a couple in the church and asked for them to go with us on the Ferry and to that park so the girl and I could talk. They agreed that when we sat on a bench that they would sit on the bench next to us which they did. The girl shared a litany of problems she was facing.

As soon as Pastor Williams began his tirade of accusations against me, the couple I was with immediately got to their feet in front of the congregation and angrily told the pastor that they had gone with us and were with us every minute “What is more,” the wife of the couple virtually screamed at the pastor, “We are leaving this church for good, as of NOW!” As they walked out a stream of people walked out with them.

Now for the kicker. Guess what the little girl wanted to talk to me about. As she told me, Pastor Williams had been telling her to come to his office, closed the door and asked her repeatedly if she had a boyfriend, ever had sex, did she plan to, what she would like, and on and on. This of course made the young girl nervous and indeed, frightened. She trusted me enough to talk to me about this.

That old BASTARD! Now don’t get your backs up, this is a real term used in the Bible. A bastard is one with questionable birth details. And his birth details are very interesting. Here’s a man living in total sin and lust, yet claims to be, ‘born again.’ I Don’t think so.

Pastor Morris Williams fully defines the title of this piece, Persuasive Doubt that he had mastered. On November 3rd, last month, I learned that “Rev.” Morris Williams had died. I shed no tears. And I won’t have to worry about seeing him in heaven. He never got that far.

The headline of this story includes the words, Persuasive Doubt. I found this couple of words in a story on News With Views written by A.M.Byrd and borrowed them. She is a great writer. So let it be known that I owe her two words.

ANALYZING TODAY’S NEWS FOR TOMORROW’S HISTORY

WHY PRESIDENT TRUMP ENDORSED LUTHER STRANGE

The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.   Sun TzuThe Art of War

Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.  Sun TzuThe Art of War

Our President has endorsed Luther Strange for Jeff Session’s Senate seat, and he has good reasons.  Donald J. Trump knows exactly what he’s doing.

Jeff Session’s former Alabama Senate seat should have been filled by conservative Mo Brooks, whose voting record in the House perfectly reflects our President’s policies.  However, the people of Alabama eliminated him from the running and instead chose Strange and Moore who are now in a runoff.

Luther Strange is, of course, an establishment insider, and Mitch McConnell wants him elected.  Strange is not a choice of true conservatives, thus I’ve heard countless numbers of people endorse Judge Roy Moore, and I am absolutely appalled and for good reason.

Roy Moore Wants a Constitutional Convention

Moore believes that by opening the Constitution he can get a marriage amendment.  Article V of the Constitution prescribes how an amendment can become a part of the Constitution. While there are two ways, only one has ever been used. All 27 Amendments have been ratified after two-thirds of the House and Senate approve of the proposal and send it to the states for a vote. Then, three-fourths (or 38) of the states must affirm the proposed Amendment.  Once affirmed, it becomes part of the Constitution. Judge Moore has rejected this way of adding an amendment, and wants a Constitutional Convention.

Moore has been contacted by countless authorities on the Con-Con.  He has declined to listen to anyone regarding the 1787 Convention precedents. Neither has he viewed Chief Justice Warren Burger’s letter to Phyllis Schlafly regarding the dangers of a Con-Con, Phyllis’s many writings that a Con-Con could not be controlled, the words of James Madison regarding another convention, and the writings of scholars who know the dangers of a second Convention, etc.

Fellow attorneys have contacted Moore about his desire for a Convention, and normal protocol is that he take their calls, but Moore has refused.  His attitude is smug and full of hubris.  He refuses to hear dissenting viewpoints, certainly not the norm for judges of sound and moral character.

There is nothing to prevent a convention from being expanded to issues not raised in the original petitions calling the convention. An Article V convention could lead to a constitutional crisis where everyone’s rights and liberties are on the auction block.  But Moore won’t listen or even read dissenting opinions.

Moore’s Law Professor Speaks Out

Guy Martin, Jr., a minister and former law professor who taught constitutional law to Roy Moore in law school, has an op-ed in an Alabama newspaper speaking out against Moore’s candidacy. What he has to say about Moore is not the least bit surprising.
Roy Moore did not get along with his colleagues in law school or on the Supreme Court. The arguments were not over Christianity.

In law school, the arguments arose from what Disraeli called “falling into a deep groove of illogic and being helpless to allow reason to pull you out.” If Moore’s analysis of a case was tantamount to thinking 1 + 1 = 3, and his classmates reasoned otherwise, there was no backing down by Moore. The class was willing to fight to the death against illogic that no legal mind but one in America would espouse.  Moore never won one argument, and the debates got ugly and personal.

Guy Martin, Jr. stated that Moore violated years of precedent established by Jefferson, who once wrote that he only hoped he could serve our country like Christ wanted him to. Yet, Jefferson fought to ingrain the principle of religious freedom in our Constitution, at a time of state-sponsored churches and religious persecution.  Professor Martin believes we could easily end up with the Democrat if Moore is the chosen Republican candidate for Senate.

This is a wake-up call: the instant Moore wins the runoff is the instant his tarnished reputation as a twice-removed Chief Justice will scald the airwaves of CNN and MSNBC.

The DNC will pour money into the campaign coffers of Doug Jones, smelling blood in solid Democratic support for Jones and from moderate Republicans.

In Washington, Moore would be “Senator Irrelevant,” the poster child for stubborn resistance to common sense legislation such as repeal of Obama Care and decrease in taxes, standing on some piece of sideways’ thinking nobody in or outside the Swamp would respect.

A vote for Moore will be a vote for Doug Jones and against the conservative cause.

Moore, the Ten Commandments, and Dominionism

And last, but certainly not least, orthodox Christianity has the solid teachings of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, but there are heretical Christian doctrines, and Moore subscribes to one of them called Dominionism/Reconstructionism.

As a believer in this doctrine, Moore espouses a theocracy, which is control of government and societal spheres of influences only by those who believe as he does. (Theocracy is a system of government in which priests rule in the name of God or a god.)

Moore also believes in a theonomy which posits that Biblical Law is applicable to civil law, and theonomists propose Biblical law as the standard by which the laws of nations may be measured, and to which they ought to be conformed.  In other words, Old Testament (OT) Mosaic Law, other than a few dietary laws, rules the land.

Biblical Truth

In Matthew 5:17, Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic Law. Christ goes on in Matthew to explain the differences in the Law of Moses and the Law of Christ, the latter which we, as Christian believers, are now under.

Judge Moore used the 10 Commandments as a monument for righteousness, but those 10 commandments were part of the 613 Mosaic Laws which passed away with the death of Christ.  They no longer exist; the new law is the Law of Christ.

The Mosaic Law is a unit…Torah is singular, even though the law contains all 613 commandments.  We can’t even separate the 10 commandments from the unit.

Mosaic Law Defined Sin

Please bear with me on this short Biblical explanation…

The Mosaic law came for many reasons, one of the biggest ones was so that we’d know sin.  Remember that Moses gave the law initially, 10 were written with the finger of God, the others were written down by Moses as God gave them to him.  The second batch were given by angels, (Acts 7:53, Gal 3:19, Heb. 2:2).  The Mosaic law was given because of sin, until Christ came, but also to reveal the Holiness of God, so we’d know the standard of righteousness God demanded for a proper relationship with Him.  It was never given as a means of salvation however, faith is always what saved, even with OT saints.  Mosaic Law was given to tell our OT saints their rule of conduct for life, it was again, a knowledge of sin.

And that’s why the clear-cut teaching of the New Testament is that the Law of Moses has been rendered inoperative with the death of Christ.  The law in its totality no longer has authority over any individual.  That’s what Romans 10:4 says.  He, our Savior, is the end of the Law, and that includes all 613.  Hence it has ceased to function. The law can’t function in either justification or sanctification…it came to an end in Christ.  For the believer, it has been rendered inoperative.  It has ceased to function for all.

And Hebrews 7:18 states that the Mosaic Law was disannulled.  Now we have the new priesthood.  Most want to retain the 10 commandments from the law, but what does II Cor. 3:2-11 say… “not in stone, but hearts of flesh.”

Judge Moore’s 10 Commandments

Roy Moore gained national attention with his 10 Commandments in stone.  But the 10 Commandments passed away with Christ’s death because they are part of the Mosaic Law.  We are under the Law of Christ Nine of the laws of Christ repeated in the New Testament sound very much like the 10 Commandments, and they are similar, but not taken from Mosaic Law. If we do not kill or steal, commit adultery, take the Lord’s name in vain, bear false witness, or covet, honor our father and mother, etc., this is not because of the Law of Moses, but because of the Law of Christ.  If we break that law, we aren’t breaking the Mosaic Law, but the Law of Christ, Ephesians 2:11-16, and Ephesians 3:6.  All the Laws of Christ are encompassed in “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Bottom line, God explains that yes, the Law is a unit comprised of 613 commandments, and all of it has been invalidated.  There is no commandment that has continued beyond the cross of Christ.  The Law is there and can be used as a teaching tool to show God’s standard of righteousness, and man’s sinfulness and need of a substitutionary atonement.  It can be used to point one to Christ (Gal 3:23-25).

However, it has completely ceased to function as an authority over individuals.  The old law has been disannulled, and we are under the new law … the Law of Christ in Galatian 6:2, and the Law of the Spirit of Life in Romans 8:2.  This is a brand-new law totally separate from the Law of Moses.  The Law of Christ contains all the commandments applicable to a New Testament believer.

There seems to be so much confusion over the relationship of the Law of Moses and the Law of Christ and it’s because many of the commandments are similar to those found in the Mosaic Law, and people conclude that certain sections of the Law have thus been retained, but that is not the case.

Judge Moore and Dominionism

Unfortunately, the Judge has promoted the 10 Commandments because he is a believer in Dominionist theology.  As I explained above, this doctrine wants to control the government and all spheres of society.  Those not believing in this doctrine are relegated to second class citizenship.

Thirdly, the hard core Dominionists still believe in stoning of sinners in the streets, including homosexuals, adulterers, disobedient children, those who take the Lord’s name in vain, etc.  This belief system discounts the saving grace of faith that many find when they come to salvation in Christ and a full knowledge of God as redeemer.  (For more information on Dominionism/Reconstructionism, go [here], [here], [here], and [here].)

Conclusion

Our illustrious and brilliant President has never supported a Constitutional Convention, and neither has he supported the heretical doctrine of Dominionism/Reconstructionism.  Quite obviously, this is why our President has endorsed Luther Strange rather than Moore.  The Judge is not a man who should be in our Senate because of his dangerous and erroneous beliefs.  Neither am I a fan of Luther Strange, but I believe our President has a far better chance of passing his policies with Strange rather than with Moore.

DOJ To Legalize Beastiality And Pedophilia Among 12 New Perversions In Secret Memo

Right Wing Watch reports on the extreme rhetoric and activities of key right-wing figures and organizations by showing their views in their own words. In this video, Tom DeLay claims to know of a secret Department of Justice memo to now legalize bestiality, pedophilia and several other “perversions” in the wake of the Supreme Court’s gay marriage ruling. The video is 90 seconds long.  I’m not sure I believe it.

VIDEO: Hillary Clinton Caught Covering Up Unspeakable Sex Crimes

By AM for CONSERVATIVE POST

Newly-surfaced documents show that Hillary’s State Department may have covered up allegations of sexual abuse within their own ranks. The memo obtained by the press cited eight examples, including accusations that a State Department security official in Beirut “engaged in sexual assaults” on foreign nationals hired as embassy guards.

Another of the accusations was that members of Hillary’s own personal security detail “engaged prostitutes while on official trips in foreign countries” — a problem the report says was “endemic.”

Not all of the allegations involved sex. One of them was that an “underground drug ring” was being operated close to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and that this ring was supplying State Department officials with drugs.

All of these allegations happened under Hillary’s watch while she was Secretary of State: if she can’t even effectively lead the State Department, how can she be counted on to lead our whole country??

While Hillary is incompetent, she is no fool. She knew that if these allegations came out, her dreams of being president would be over forever. Because of this, she swept all these allegations under the rug in a desperate attempt to hide them.

Unfortunately for her, these allegations have now come to light, and losing the presidency should be the least of her worries. Now, Hillary may be facing jail time for her part in these sex and drug crimes. What do you think should be done to Hillary because of this?

Pedophilia is a Cornerstone of Islam

Child molestation is not only widespread throughout the Muslim world, but is completely accepted as a standard practice by Muslim men. In fact, in 2012, Pentagon lawyers, at the request of the Obama administration drafted an Army manual which forbade any criticism of child molestation by troops serving in Muslim countries. pedophilia The 75-page handbook stated troops should avoid “making derogatory comments about the Taliban, advocating women’s rights, any criticism of pedophilia, directing any criticism towards Afghans, mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct” or “anything related to Islam,” Judicial Watch reported.
