The unbelievable reasons why the Pentagon wants soldiers disarmed on bases

By Newsmachete for AMERICAN THINKER. COM

Last year, radical Muslim Nidal Hasan murdered 13 unarmed American soldiers and wounded 30 others.

Thank you, George H.W. Bush!

Yesterday, radical Muslim Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez murdered four unarmed American soldiers.

Thank you, George H.W. Bush!

Yes, it former President Bush whom we must thank for this, for it was he who put into place a regulation stating that American soldiers off the frontlines, for the most part, must be unarmed. (Clinton perpetuated it, but Bush started it.) That makes them sitting ducks for a single radical Muslim with a gun, who can casually go and shoot one soldier at a time, knowing they can’t fire back.

It appears this “gun-free zone” type policy can actually be traced back to Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5210.56, signed into effect in February 1992 by Donald J. Atwood, deputy secretary of defense under President George H.W. Bush. The controversial directive states that “it is DoD Policy” to “limit and control the carrying of firearms by DoD military and civilian personnel.”

The blood of the dead soldiers is on his hands. I’m sure that as he lies in the hospital with a broken neck bone, he’s not giving it a second thought.

But what is not widely known are the reasons why Bush signed this order. A Pentagon spokesman stated that the Pentagon is against U.S. troops being armed on base:

… the Pentagon opposed the move for various reasons. “The first of which is safety,”

This is so upside-down. The soldiers are safer if they are carrying guns. They are less safe if they are all disarmed, because they can be massacred by a radical Muslim.

Another reason is really the prohibitive cost of the training, the qualification requirements, recertification.

What? Aren’t soldiers, by definition, already trained to use firearms? This is the worst kind of sophistry!

“The final one is local requirements and other policy requirements, for example the Lautenberg requirement,” he said, referring to a 1996 amendment by the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) that prohibits those convicted of misdemeanor crimes from carrying a weapon.

This is ignorance of the worst kind. Federal bases and federal employees are not subject to “local requirements.” It’s called federalism. Look it up!

As for the Lautenberg Amendment, does that mean soldiers convicted of misdemeanors can’t carry weapons in times of war? Then what are they in the military for? Either they are trusted, in which case they should be able to carry all the time, or they aren’t, in which case they shouldn’t be in the military.

“So there are a lot of barriers to this idea, and the Department’s position – and we’ve spelled this out before – is that we do not support it.”

Warren also said that “patting-down” the almost 100,000 people entering and exiting Fort Hood and other major military installations would be unrealistic, although he said no Pentagon study has been conducted on how much time and money that would require.

So soldiers are disarmed, but there is no barrier to stop mass murders from bringing in weapons.

In any event, pat-downs aren’t the solutions. Guns in the hands of our soldiers are. The Pentagon seems to be saying they can be trusted only to carry weapons on the front lines. This shows an astonishing mistrust of our armed forces. This self-hating philosophy has led to the death of many of our fine fighting men.

I would say that Obama’s poisoning of the leadership of our military is solely responsible for this, but this has been going on for some time, under Clinton and George W. Bush as well, who seemed to have no problem with it. Will no one except Donald Trump speak out against this insanity?

American Citizens as Guinea Pigs - Part 3

Radiation Experiments on the General Population

During the cold war, while preparing America for nuclear attack, thousands of US citizens were victims of over 4,000 secret and government classified radiation experiments. They were unethical, non-consensual, and probably illegal. These classified radiation experiments were conducted by the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC), the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Health, Education and Welfare, (HEW), the Public Health Service, (now the CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Veterans Administration (VA), the CIA, and NASA.

Millions of people were exposed to radiation fallout from testing of more than 200 atmospheric and underground nuclear weapons. We’ve all heard of the military as well as the many famous actors that were given special viewings of the nuclear bomb tests and how they died from their radiation exposure from cancers. There were hundreds of secret releases of radiation into the environment and over populated areas, and there were over 200,000 “atomic vets” who worked closely at the Nevada test site in the 50s and 60s.

The human test subjects for specialized testing to receive radiation were mostly in a compromised or powerless position. Many were prisoners, some poor, pregnant, children, elderly, black Americans, and even mentally retarded. Many were soldiers or military personnel who felt they had to follow orders which we’ll discuss in a later article. In most cases, no informed consent was given and most of the time the subjects did not even know they’d been exposed to radiation.

Also affected were those called the “downwinders” of the nearby towns in Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado. The human and animal populations suffered the worst cumulative radioactive effects of fallout, along with their environments loaded with radioactive food, water, and farm products. Declassified AEC records (now DOD) from the 50s describe in one document that the people downwind of the Nevada test site were a “low use segment of the population.”

Government doctors and scientists tried to brainwash the public into believing a low amount of radiation was good for you. They totally ignored the truth that they knew that nuclear fallout could lead to an increased risk of cancer, heart disease, neurological disorders, immune system disease, reproductive abnormalities, sterility, birth defects, and genetic mutations which, like SV-40 monkey virus, can be passed on from generation to generation. A secret AEC document from April 17, 2026 revealed that physicians were aware of these radiation hazards but simply ignored them.

It stated, “It is desired that no document be released which refers to experiments with humans that might have an adverse effect on public opinion or result in legal suits. Documents covering such field work should be classified as ‘Secret’.”

Quite obviously these physicians ignored their sworn Hippocratic Oath promising that they would do no harm to their patients. And after 1947’s development of the Nuremberg Code of justice resulting from the Nazi war crimes trials after WWII, they most likely were breaking the law. The Nuremburg Code includes 10 principles to guide physicians in human experimentation. Go here for the 10 points of the Nuremberg code. Prior to the Nazi war crime tribunals, there was no written code for doctors other than the Hippocratic Oath, and lawyers defending the Nazi doctors tried to argue that similar wartime experiments were conducted with prisoners at the Illinois State Penitentiary where they were deliberately infected with malaria.

During the Nuremberg trials the AMA came up with its own ethical standards, which included three requirements: 1) voluntary consent of the person on whom the experiment is to be performed must be obtained; 2) the danger of each experiment must be previously investigated by animal experimentation; and 3) the experiment must be performed under proper medical protection and management. As we’ll see, the Nuremberg codes and the AMA Standards were totally ignored.

According to author Carole Gallagher’s photo-essay, AMERICAN GROUND ZERO: THE SECRET NUCLEAR WAR, many of the “downwinders” testified that the Public Health Service told them that it was their neurosis about the fallout that would give them cancer, especially if they were female. Women with severe radiation illness, hair loss, severely burned skin, were diagnosed in hospitals as “neurotic.” Other severely ill women were diagnosed with “housewife syndrome.”

When Gallagher asked a DOE spokesperson about the AEC/DOE’s practice of waiting until the wind blew towards Utah before testing nuclear bombs or venting radiation, in order to avoid contaminating Los Angeles or Las Vegas, the official answered on tape, “Those people in Utah don’t give a shit about radiation.”

Some of the secret experiments by the government included exposing Alaskan villagers to radioactive iodine in the 1960s; exposing about 800 pregnant women in the late 40s to radioactive iron to determine the effects on their fetuses; injecting newborn babies with radioactive iodine; exposing the testicles of more than 100 prisoners to cancer-causing doses of radiation that continued into the early 70s; exposing 200 cancer patients to high levels of radiation from cobalt and cesium, (the AEC didn’t stop this experiment until 1974); administering massive doses of full body radiation to cancer patients in Cincinnati’s General Hospital, at Baylor College in Houston, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City, and the US Naval Hospital in Bethesda; exposing 29 patients at the University of California Hospital in San Francisco to total body irradiation (100-300 rad dose) to obtain data for the military; and feeding 49 retarded teenagers radioactive iron and calcium in their cereal during the years 1946-1954. These are only a few of the horrific experiments.

It was in the 90s that the plutonium experiments were exposed by reporter and Pulitzer Prize winning author Eileen Welsome, who wrote the fabulous book, THE PLUTONIUM FILES. It was a 10 year investigation as a newspaper reporter that led Eileen to write the book. I had the pleasure years ago of tracking Eileen down and having her as a guest on the Roger Fredinburg Show.

The plutonium experiments were performed under the auspices of the government’s Manhattan Project which brought together a revered group of scientists to develop the atom bomb. It was done in Oak Ridge, TN, only 12 miles from where I live, and the radiation contamination in our area of the country is legend. Plutonium was injected or fed to subjects and it is immediately toxic to the body unlike radiation exposure that will cause illness in time.

Plutonium was not the only radioactive element used on human subjects. The Boston Project in the early 50s included the use of radioactive strontium, polonium, radium and uranium. As an aside, radium was used in the making of watches so that the numbers and dials glowed. The women that painted these watches with the radium would put the brushes in their mouths to bring them to a point before dipping again into the radium. The results were devastating cancers of the jaw, tongue, mouth, throat and internal organs from swallowing so much radioactive material. More on the results of the Radium Company employees in New Jersey.

The public was unaware that plutonium was used in the two bombs dropped on Japan until after August of 1945. The government maintained that it was essential to do plutonium experiments in order to determine if it affected employees working on the government projects. Most of the tests were on unknowing cancer patients which started in the 40s. All the experiments were a dismal failure.

In 1997, the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research concluded: “Large numbers of nuclear weapons workers have received information which systematically understates their actual exposures because the dosages were not combines.” Yet the DOE denied that many human subjects had high exposures to radiation. Despite the experimenters’ protestations that the doses were low and therefore not dangerous, many of the experiments were designed to induce harm.

Ebb Cade was a black man who worked for a cement company in Oak Ridge, TN. On his way to work with his brothers and fellow workers one morning, they passed a stalled government truck in their lane only to plow into an oncoming dump truck. Ebb was taken to the Oak Ridge Army Hospital. Ebb’s nose and lip were cut; his right kneecap, forearm, and his left femur were fractured. Other occupants injuries were not known, but the driver of the vehicle spent 9 months in the hospital. Los Alamos chemist, Wright Langham (they were working with plutonium) sent Dr. Hymer Friedell detailed instructions for an injection into Ebb Cade of plutonium. Five days after the injection, and nearly three weeks after the accident, Ebb’s bones were set. The timing of his surgery was so they could take bone samples from Ebb after the plutonium had circulated in his body. Cade developed yellow jaundice at the end of his hospital stay, and although he seemed to heal properly, only 8 years later he died at 63 of heart failure. The rest of his family outlived him by decades.

GOVERNMENT CAN GET YOU ANYTIME IT WANTS. If a person, group of people, or a government has power over you, that means they can control what you do, or force you to do what you don’t want to do. That power comes either by the force of law with corresponding punishments for not obeying the law, or by force of violence using the gun or other weapons that can threaten or take your life, or rob you of your liberty.

In many of our articles over the last 10 years, we have written about the growing power of the American government, at all levels, but mostly at the federal level. No matter what anyone thinks, the evidence points directly at a trend towards absolute power. That is what governments do over time. But the only way to project absolute power is by force and that force comes in the form of civilian or military power where that power can incarcerate you, or kill you …… for any reason!

The Founders went to great lengths to set up a government system that was based on the rule of law, not rule by force. Overtime, as laws proliferated into millions of laws piled on top of one another, enforcement of all those laws became problematic. As more people broke the laws, many without knowing it, government’s response was to increase enforcement.

In a previous article on laws we wrote: “Every Time A New Law Is Written”

“By just sheer numbers, the more laws that are written, the less likely the entire population will even know about the laws, or understand them, or know of their consequences or penalties for violation, much less be in compliance with them. The consequence of too many laws is that huge segments of the public are totally unaware of their existence. And yet, under the law, ignorance of the law is not a defense. Then, when the hapless individual comes face-to-face with the law, it results in anger and frustration for that individual and a spiraling degradation of freedom and liberty for all of us.”

“Many laws are written at the insistence of lobbying or special interest groups with very narrow and purposely hidden agendas. The public never has an opportunity for real input and society as a whole is not benefited. Partisan politics often compromises a new law into meaningless, often conflicting legislation, leaving loopholes over which lawyers can argue over for decades.”

“In the final analysis, extending legislating and law creation to its absurdity, one arrives at a point where there are so many laws that no one is in compliance and we end up losing our ability to enforce any of them. We become in fact, lawless by the very chaos that the policy makers have created.”

UNLESS THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT
SENDS IN FEDERAL TROOPS!

What this all boils down to is that the more laws there are and the more people there are to be controlled by those laws, the greater the need of enforcement by guns. It is clear that government will never allow the people TO BECOME LAWLESS. After all, government’s role is to keep the peace and restore order no matter how many liberties the people have to give up.

As the federal government grew larger and more powerful, it became the logical repository for the military power needed to control all those millions of people to make sure they comply with all the millions of laws that the people know nothing about. They must keep order and control at all costs. But it must be remembered that local law enforcement is trained to use minimal force, where the U. S. Military is trained to use maximum, overwhelming force. That is the undeniable difference and a direct threat to individual liberty.

The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 (Pub. L. 18 USC P 1385) was supposed to keep the U. S. Military from enforcing local and federal law, or assisting local law enforcement in that duty. Well before the Posse Comitatus Act was passed, Congress passed the Insurrection Act of 1807 (Pub. L. 10 USC 331 thru 335) which was a “set of laws that govern the ability of the President to deploy U. S. troops on American soil.” Such deployment could only come at the request of a governor of the state in which an event was taking place requiring a larger military force. This all changed after Hurricane Katrina where the Louisiana governor did not request federal troops to restore order. Congress went ahead and modified the Insurrection Act as follows:

“Section 1076 of the law changed Sec. 333 of the ‘Insurrection Act,’ and widened the President’s ability to deploy troops within the United States to enforce the laws. Under this act, the President may also deploy troops as a police force during a natural disaster, epidemic, serious public health emergency, terrorist attack, or other condition, when the President determines that the authorities of the state are incapable of maintaining public order. The bill also modified Sec. 334 of the Insurrection Act, giving the President authority to order the dispersal of either insurgents or ‘those obstructing the enforcement of the laws.’ The law changed the name of the chapter from ‘Insurrection’ to ‘Enforcement of the Laws to Restore Public Order.'”

But ladies and gentlemen, it gets far worse from there. The Department of Defense (DOD) has inserted itself into the use of U. S. Military force on American soil and enforcing local law and assisting local law enforcement. In our research we ran across a 2004 DOD document (re-published in 2009) that spells out in detail that Posse Comitatus is dead and the Insurrection Act must be expanded. Here are excerpts from that document.

Legal Authority to Use
Federal Troops to Enforce the Law

The Insurrection Act is the most important legal authority for the President to authorize the use of federal troops to enforce the law. The Insurrection Act (there is really no single ‘Insurrection Act’ per se but this name has been applied collectively to the four statutes noted below) consists of four statutes enacted at different times for different reasons that, when considered as a whole, provide the power that Presidents have used many times as the legal basis for using troops to enforce the law. The four sections of the act are as follows:

· Title 10, Section 331 was enacted in 1792 in response to challenges to the taxing power of the federal government. It allows the President, at the request of a governor or state legislature, to put down an insurrection by calling into federal service sufficient militia to “suppress the insurrection.”

· Title 10, Section 332 was enacted in 1861 at the outset of the Civil War. It allows the President to use the armed forces to enforce the laws or suppress a rebellion whenever, in his opinion, unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages or rebellion against the authority of the United States make it impractical to enforce the laws using the course of judicial proceedings.

· Title 10, Section 333 was enacted in 1869 during the Reconstruction Era. It allows the President to use the armed forces or militia to respond to insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracies that prevent a state government from enforcing the laws.

· Title 10, Section 334 was enacted in 1861. It prescribes that the President shall issue a proclamation calling on insurgents to disperse before using the militia or armed forces to enforce the law.

The Insurrection Act is the most sweeping authority for the President to authorize and order the use of the federal troops for domestic operations. The President may not act on warning or even at the start of an incident, but must wait until the governor or a state legislature asks for federal assistance. This tends to discourage advance preparations and movements of troops-although Presidents have authorized such actions. This tiered approach in which the federal government acts only after local and state governments have failed, was workable when the cost of delayed response was acceptable, but it is inappropriate for the current situation.

This should scare the pants off you! The older Insurrection Act and the revisions thereto, have all but repealed Posse Comitatus. The President can do what he wishes, anytime he wants with federal troops. That is an awesome power.

We have placed links to the evolution of the “Insurrection Act” and the entire above DOD document on our website for your review at this link: . You have to read the whole DOD document if you really want to understand what is going on.

Why do you suppose that the U. S. Military has been conducting massive training operations throughout the U. S., like operation Jade Helm 15 as depicted in the above image? (Jade Helm 15)

It isn’t all training for warfare elsewhere on the planet. It is in fact training to put down insurrection by disgruntled Americans and to maintain civil order when local law enforcement can’t do the job, pursuant to the detailed outline in the above referenced DOD document.

It is no coincidence that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has put out lists of potential domestic terrorists that include Christian groups, militias, patriots and returning military vets. They know what is in your mind and what you may be planning and they are planning ahead for that eventuality. It is no accident that the U. S. Military is conducting huge, multi-state training operations, or building FEMA camps for massive internment.

The Progressives have been in virtual control of America for over 100 years. They intend to remain in control, even if they can’t do it by votes. They have taken over the schools, academia, government institutions, the news media and they will maintain their control by force of arms if patriots (conservatives) even so much as hint at challenging their authority. It’s been coming for a long time. It is the final evolution of a liberal, socialist, ideologically driven dictatorship.

For those in our reading audience who think that a group of armed militia can stand up against the full force and fury of the U. S. Military, they had better think again. If we are going to change the course that America is now on, it will have to be by peaceful means.

The only way insurrection or uprising by Americans can win against the U. S. Military is the organization of millions of armed citizens with seasoned leadership, command and control and extensive training, who will put everything on the line to challenge the final militarization of America by federal forces. And they had better hope that the federal troops don’t shoot to kill, because those federal forces are also made up of Americans. If civilian Americans are pitted against federal troop Americans in a shooting war, the U. S. Constitution will be annulled and martial law will be declared. We can almost guarantee that what comes out of that shooting war between Americans and Americans will not be a Constitutional Republic.

We are just as disturbed by Operation Jade Helm 15 as are many other Americans. Consequently, we have filed a formal FOIA request with the Department of Defense, asking some very specific questions about this operation and demanding specific documents. You will find a link to a PDF version of our FOIA request on our website HERE. We will publish responses to the FOIA request in later articles ….. if any.

Please understand that this FOIA request could put a target on our back and put us at considerable risk for having the audacity to challenge them personally. They are already monitoring us and have been for several years. We know just by observing the statistics on our website.

Why do we do this ladies and gentlemen? Because we strongly believe in preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States and the individual liberty it secures. It could be considered treason that our president and all other public office holders and bureaucrats don’t do the same. It is a travesty that millions of Americans won’t join us, or others, in this effort. Their silence could be America’s undoing.
