Entry raises eyebrows on the day former Governor slammed Trump

On the day that the former Governor of Massachusetts slammed Donald Trump as a “phony,” eyebrows were raised after it was discovered that Mitt Romney’s Facebook page states that he is “currently running for President of the United States of America”.
“So… this is the current “About” section of Mitt Romney’s Facebook page,” tweeted NBC Nightly News editor Bradd Jaffy, alongside a screenshot of Romney’s official Facebook profile page.

The bio states that Romney is “currently running for President of the United States, Republican.”
That sparked interest because there is speculation Romney has re-inserted himself into campaign politics over the last couple of weeks because the GOP establishment is preparing to run him against Trump if Marco Rubio fails to win in Florida.
“I think that there is a relatively strong chance that the establishment tries to find an opening for Mitt Romney to run,” political consultant John Yob told CBS News.
“The establishment will pull out every trick in the book to stop Donald Trump and one of those tricks will be trying to get Mitt Romney to run.”
Even though Romney would stand a slim chance of beating Trump’s delegate count, he could emerge victorious in a brokered convention or even run third party to siphon votes away from The Donald.
The Facebook entry was quickly changed after the screenshot circulated on social media.
Some pointed out that the entry was probably just an error because the page hasn’t been updated since the 2012 elections.
And that probably tells you everything you need to know about Mitt Romney’s relevance four years later.

Romney’s little Mormon surrogates are so busy scanning for terrestrials, they fur got to update the facebook page…….for a few years.
When you realize that Trump is smart enough to use his facebook to conduit ideas every day, often many times a day, and he has a legion of followers on it, it just underscores how far Romney has his head is up his own butt.
His personal star chamber, eh?
Romney has no credibility anymore, so his stupid appearance won’t give , Trump a bump up in his numbers…but maybe it will, because we’re all getting more and more pi**ed off at the establishment.
I think the term used these days is a nothingberger. Make that a Romney Nothingberger with a side of Mormon hyperbole.
(They’re not Christians, you know)
I liked that Trump addressed the attack immediately today. He can;t let the slanders stack up, because the slimings keep on coming from here on in.

Agreed MeThePeople. Who in their right mind would vote for Romney after he blew the 2012 election? Yes, I agree, Mormonism is a cult. That is so sad because I have known some wonderful Mormon’s off and on over the years. The Mormon’s do a wonderful job of being family oriented. I have to give them credit for that. The rest of us could learn a thing or two from them in that area.

I voted for Romney, so I do not use religion as a basis for voting (unless the candidate is a Muslim). Lots of voters don’t even care about that little detail.
Let’s not forget that other great unifier Beck. He’s Mormon too, but seems to be wanting to start his own cult these days.
I do not know how it is possible for a person to rationalize the butchery and cruelty then self-identify as a Muslim; a good Muslim, a patriotic American.
