Stewardship of the Earth

While I was in California a little over a month ago I became aware that the well publicized drought there is largely man-made. Not that there isn’t a lower than average rainfall, but the truth is there is plenty of water. The real problem is the governmental policies which will not allow the people to have access to that water. Instead, the Governor of California is simply going to dump billions of gallons each year into the Pacific Ocean.

Video of the Sermon:

“On Wednesday April 1, 2015, Gov. Jerry Brown declared via ‘executive order’ that mandatory water restrictions would be imposed upon all California residents, farms, businesses, cities, and towns reducing water usage by 25%. Notice what’s missing in Gov. Brown’s solution? What’s missing is the most common and well-proven way to store winter rainwater (much of which is not required to maintain fish and wildlife, and just runs into the sea) for mankind: construction of new dams!

But what some people don’t realize is that Gov. Brown is in a real jam; how can he possibly talk about the best single solution (more dams) for creating more available water (and jobs, by the way) when he is currently supporting the removal of several perfectly good dams in Siskiyou County? And adding insult to injury, California taxpayers will foot the bill for this insane dam removal project, costing approximately one billion ($1,000,000,000.00) dollars, which could be used to build more water storage dams instead.

These particular dams hold approximately 135,000 acre-feet of fresh water; that’s nearly 44 billion gallons of fresh water that” will simply run into the Ocean “at a time when California desperately needs more water, not less! These dams also produce about 150 megawatts of clean-green electrical power for Californians… California needs more dams (and the water they can provide), not fewer.”[1]

So the Governor of California wants to dump 44 billion gallons of water into the ocean, not allowing farmers to water crops, citizens to drink or use that water for any of the other myriad of uses water can be put to, all the while demanding everyone reduce their consumption by 25%! Talking with the citizens while I was there, they informed me of another scheme pending – to tax them on the water they pump out of their own wells on their own property. The government then claims it owns all the water and will restrict, control and tax everyone who uses its resource all the while proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that it is not a steward of water but biggest and most inconsiderate waster of water.

What the situation in California poignantly illustrates is that the environmental agenda is an anti-human agenda. This raises the question, as disciples of Jesus Christ how should we think about Stewardship of the Earth? What actions should we engage in as God’s caretakers of this world?

Surveying the scene it is apparent that this green agenda has been very effective in getting its anti-human message across. For example, you can do your own survey of millennials by asking them if they agree with the attitude towards children called “one and done” philosophy. One and done claims that having more than one child is an ultimate act of selfishness, and act which consumes more of the world’s limited resources than it is proper for any family to do. It is amazing to me that so many people have bought into this lie. In effect what we see in America is China’s one child policy voluntarily self enforced by the next generation.

In China they had to enforce that policy at gunpoint, but American’s have been so successfully indoctrinated they voluntarily self-enforce the agenda for world depopulation. These are but two illustrations of the power and effect the green agenda has on every aspect of life. What most people, including most Christians are not doing, is thinking critically, that is thinking Biblically about that green agenda. We have been swayed by the incessant propaganda to accept an anti-human philosophy.

Today I would like to encourage “thinking critically,” that is thinking Biblically about that agenda as we continue in our series of building a Biblical Worldview. I would like to approach the subject by asking three questions, Are humans the problem or the solution? Is wilderness the ideal which God designed, and are children a curse or a blessing?

Turn to Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

Now ask yourself, are humans the problem or the solution?

Telling On Themselves: Rural Cleansing in Idaho and Montana

My comments: The government has adopted UN Agenda 21 and they want us off the land and into the cities to more easily control us. The rural lands will be unusable to the masses.

Posted by Sara Hall for THE DAILY HERB

I just love it when someone slips up, and tells us country folk what’s really being planned for us.

Rural cleansing is the purposeful removal of rural citizens from the countryside and the relocation of rural populations into urban areas. Many public officials and media pundits scoff at the mere suggestion that rural cleansing is taking place, but the problem, you see, is that there are people who have inadvertently left tell-tale clues we can use to piece together things for ourselves.

One of the most startling clues I’ve run across lately comes from a July 1, 2026 newspaper article in The Montanian, which is published in Libby, a tiny rural town in Northwest Montana.

Did She Just Say That?

In the article, Libby County Commissioner, Rita Windom, informs us that she and other commissioners were approached by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks (FWP) state land manager, Darlene Edge, with a proposal to cooperate in driving rural residents out of the Montana countryside into cities. When commissioners responded with horror, Windom says Edge replied

“Can’t you see we are doing you a favor by forcing people to move from rural areas into the urban areas. That way you can close roads…Why don’t you work with us and move these people out of the rural areas and into the urban areas so cities can shoulder more of the responsibilities and the county can save money?”

This exchange took place in a meeting regarding a document called The Wildlife Program Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), of which only 300 were published. According to Windom, there was very little public input because the few public meetings held were so poorly advertised.

But was this just an isolated, though shocking, incident? Did this public policy only affect Montana? I don’t think so. I’ll tell you why.

Sometime around 1997 I called a Boundary County, Idaho resident from Washington State regarding possible job openings in my field in Boundary County. Her answer was that the woods had been shut down and 300 families had left. She continued on to tell me she had seen a public land management agency document outlining a plan to empty North Idaho of people and turn the entire area into a wildlife corridor. Naturally, she was outraged.

About ten years later, another reliable eyewitness told me that the same document had arrived at his home first. The document was marked not for public view. He had purchased a house that had previously been occupied by a public land management agency employee who had moved. My source had opened the document and read it. He confirmed that it said what my other friend had previously described to me. In fact, he had lent her the document, which is how she happened to know what was in it.

I was never able to get my hands on that document, but when someone sent me a camera shot of the above article in The Montanian describing much the same policy being announced at much the same time as the eyewitness accounts, I wasted no time in getting a copy of the article.

Other evidence for believing that this article in The Montanian represents policies that affect Idaho, as well as Montana, is that, not too long ago, at a U.S. Fish and Wildlife public meeting about listing the wolverine on the Endangered Species list, we were told that Idaho and Montana are now considered to be in the same management region by the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife. The land and wildlife management policies are pretty much the same now. This is why huge blocks of land, taking in N.W. Montana, Northern Idaho and N.E. Washington, are included in management plans for grizzly habitat, caribou habitat, wildlife corridors, etc.

Where Did Rural Cleansing Come From?

Commissioner Windom remarks, in the Montanian article, that the Draft EIS that had upset her and other commissioners was the product of five to six years’ labor by the FWP. That puts us back to around 1992, or a year later, when the Rio Earth Summit trotted out the document, Agenda 21: the Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet, and other supporting documents, for our enjoyment.

Documents and resolutions introduced at the Rio Earth Summit had been in the works for years before being introduced to the world.

Policies leading to rural cleansing are found in the document, Agenda 21: the Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet, but another important source is associated with one of the other documents introduced at Rio. That was the Convention on Biological Diversity. It has been shown that the Wildlands Project is the central mechanism by which the Convention on Biological Diversity is to be implemented. The Wildlands Project calls for humans to be removed from one-half of the American land mass, and to create uninhabited corridors for wildlife to move freely from Alaska to Yellowstone Park, or farther south. It was written by radical environmentalists working in United Nations nongovernmental organizations with the full knowledge and aid of U.S. federal agencies such as U.S. Forest Service, BLM, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, EPA and others.

It appears that the Wildlands Project is now being implemented, under another name, in Idaho and the West through the Western Governors Association’s Wildlife Corridors Initiative (WCI). To learn more about that, please see my blog, Infiltration of LittleTown U.S.A.: The Wildlands Project and Agenda 21 in Idaho. Particularly, pay attention to the section subtitled “Nudging Us into the Cities.”

If we are paying attention, we can catch public officials and media pundits additionally telling on themselves by their perpetual use of disinformation. One common bit of disinformation used to mislead the public is the repeated statement that Agenda 21 is an outdated and nonbinding document. You can always tell a trained operative when statements similar to this come out of their mouth. Here is an article displaying this strategy: How the U.N.’s Agenda 21 Affects Kootenai County, Idaho.

Just two to three weeks ago, I submitted a comment on the above article. I commented that Agenda 21 is no outdated or irrelevant document, because in 2012, the United Nations held another summit called Rio+20, in which the members reaffirmed Agenda 21 as the working document for the 21st century. They also reaffirmed their commitment to the Convention on Biological Diversity. The webmaster declined to publish my comment.

To back up my comment, here is a quote found on Wikipedia’s entry for Agenda 21:

“Rio+20 (2012)
Main article: United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development
In 2012, at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development the attending members reaffirmed their commitment to Agenda 21 in their outcome document called “The Future We Want”. 180 leaders from nations participated.”

Bringing it Home

When the Wikipedia entry calls the Agenda 21 document a voluntary and nonbinding action plan, the writer fails to outline the process whereby former President Clinton issued an executive order and created the President’s Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD), which then formed policies and plans to implement Agenda 21 under soft law. Sustainable Development is the term used at United Nations and national levels to describe the goals of Agenda 21. The PCSD generated documents and guidelines, notably Sustainable America: A New Consensus for the Prosperity, Opportunity and a Healthy Environment for the Future, used by federal agencies, such as the Forest Service, EPA and others, to form policies.

These guidelines have become the overarching vision for our nation, not only for federal agencies, but also for city planners, corporate trade groups, and environmental groups, as this excerpt from Sustainable America shows.

Federal grants, monies, and other inducements, have drawn local and state governments into that implementation. I’m sure many of those public officials were ignorant of the consequences of accepting those grants at the time. Some are either still ignorant or too stubborn, or maybe even too complicit, to admit that they were duped. When soft law becomes the new normal, it can be upheld by case law. These practices are also now being codified in piecemeal legislation, comprehensive land use plans and zoning regulations.

There You Go Again

Now you will be told that county comprehensive land use plans, likewise, are nonbinding documents with no real clout. Oops—wrong again. For example, the U.S. Forest Service uses comprehensive land use plans when writing forest plans for your region. If your plan just happens to agree with their goals (and what are their goals? why, Sustainable Forestry, of course) the plan serves as cover for their management policies, because the Forest Service claims that they have coordinated with your county, as required by law, by having read and taken under consideration your comprehensive land use plan. See this video and hear F.S. employees state this over and over again, as they are being questioned regarding their latest forest plan for Idaho. I have also read that comprehensive land use plans can be used as a basis for zoning regulations and other county ordinances.

This is why various groups want to embed statements that are conducive to Sustainable Development in your county comprehensive land use plans.

Though the disinformation campaign strategy in Idaho is still one of denial and Alinsky-like mockery of Agenda 21 conspiracy theorists, as exemplified in this Spokesman-Review article, the strategy is now shifting elsewhere. Rosa Koire, speaking of California, describes how the charge of conspiracy theory is there giving way to the position that Agenda 21, and its related documents and policies, are real, but that these policies are the only feasible and just way of coping with global problems such as climate change, overpopulation, poverty and environmental degradation.

It’s the New normal, Just Accept it.

It’s no surprise, then, that FOX News just published an article entitled Foundations plan to pay news media to cover radical UN agenda. The article describes how a cadre of journalists is being trained to win the public over to U.N. Sustainable Development policies.

Comic Relief

That’s why I just chortle when I find articles like this one, from The Montanian, containing past candid (though Kafkaesque) quotes from officials who hadn’t yet sufficiently learned to dissemble. I hope you will read the entire article, as it has additional interesting comments about the changing use of conservation easements and the way Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks was circumventing the public and county commissioners to get its way. The article is reprinted by the gracious permission of The Montanian Newspaper.

And just so we can do a little mocking of our own, let me refer you to this funny, short short video called My Daughter’s New Agenda 21 Bedroom

But, then again, after having a good chuckle, let’s move past the mockery and get down to the debate–if we can get one. If journalists are going to try to convince us that Sustainable Development, as envisioned by members and advisory groups to the United Nations, is the best path for America, we need to be ready to engage in a logical and reasonable discussion. And that will be a serious conversation, indeed.

Kodiak, AK defeats Agenda 21

When are Americans in ALL CITIES and TOWNS going to go Kodiak? Agenda 21 intends to take ALL private property, homes and farms, move us “dumbed downs” into high-density, big city pack-em stack-ems, and return 2/3 of our country to “pristine wilderness.” It’s easier to CONTROL us that way. Our corrupt politicians have gladly taken their 30 pieces of silver and signed on. Are they insane, or what? What are we going to do about it? Nothing? Only 3 min. long, watch it…the united nations is destroying our god given rights.

Feds Push For Total Control of Property Rights: “Government is Named as the Owner of ALL the Water”

My comments: This is happening all over our country. Water is the new gold, and when we lose it to the ownership of the federal government or state governments rather than by the citizens, they will control our entire livelihoods. This has already happened in CA, and it is spreading. Please be aware and check your own states. We are in grave and serious danger.

Jeremiah Johnson April 16th, 2015 SHTFplan.com

Editor’s Note: The following research and commentary shows just how far the federal government is willing to go. With the help of the EPA and State legislators they are aggressively chipping away at private property rights in America and as you’ll see from Jeremiah Johnson’s report below, they are starting with our most precious resource – water. That includes the creek in your backyard, the well under your house and even the rain that falls on your roof. Once they have control of the water, it will be they and they alone who decide whether or not you can shower daily, or water your crops, or how much drinking water will be allotted for your family – even if you have an aquifer sitting below your property . But that’s just the beginning. The dangerous precedent about to be set in Montana means they’ll have given themselves the pretext to seize anything they want. The aim, as evidenced by these and other recent actions by local, state and federal government, is to supplant all private ownership in America.

Water Rights on the Ropes: The Last Round for Free Montanans vs. the Federal Government
By Jeremiah Johnson

This is a “rush” article submitted at the 11th hour of the battle Montanans are fighting to keep their water rights intact. The average citizen is trying to defend against the onslaughts of the Agenda 21-funded, oligarch-driven EPA (pushing the CSKT water compact) and the Federal Government. The battle is almost over and it doesn’t look good about one minute to midnight. This battle is Montana’s “Alamo” of water rights and it is very important for all of us: a loss for Montanans and a win for the Federal Government will set a nationwide precedent.

If the Federal Government and its lackeys win, the Iron Bell of tyranny will ring, and those reverberations will be felt throughout the U.S. The feds will have established through state legislation an EPA measure as a means that can be turned around and employed nationally. Taking the communist “social justice” platform and using Native Americans as the tools in the “downtrodden and protected class” role, the feds will inculcate a foothold into private property rights. With a win, the federal government will have a new technique to leverage citizens away from their individual and family private property rights.

My previous article on this subject was posted on 3/18/15, entitled FedGov Moves to Seize Water Rights from 100,000 Montanans: All Surface Water and Wells. I recommend that you read it for the background history on the Hellgate Treaty and similar actions being taken in other states by the feds. SB 262 is the bill that will, if passed, ratify the CSKT (Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe) water compact. There was a piece penned by Montana House Majority Leader Keith Regier, MT HD-4 Representative on 4/11/15 that explained the main concern: many Montanans will lose access to private property, and that access will be given to the Tribal members (who already have access), their heirs, and their “assigns.”

Guess who these “assigns” are? They are private companies, outdoor groups (Sierra Club, for example), and tour companies. They are the Federal Government, and the U.S. Forest Service, and Montana Fish and Game. These latter two, by the way, have supported the CSKT water compact and throughout the compact these two groups wrote language into it that exempt themselves from future legal conflicts. If this bill passes, the Unitary Management Ordinance will be created; this is a water court made up of a group of members of the tribes and others to serve as the water court of the reservation.

The aforementioned court will have one main function: to rule on issues that pertain to non-tribal members. Bottom line: it is a court that is of the tribes that will rule on Montanans by taking all Montanan’s water rights out of the hands of Montanans and placing it in the hands of the Indian Tribes. Almost 90% of all lands for agricultural use are off-reservation and the landowners have been paying property taxes for many years; however, they will now be under the jurisdiction of the tribes.

That jurisdiction (as outlined in the first article) will be regulated by the EPA and enforced by the Department of Homeland Security, with authorization of the Bureau of Indian Affairs on behalf of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.

The Federal Government is named as the owner of all the water defined in the compact. This is stipulated in writing.

As of this writing, there are procedural hurdles that are going to be voted upon and the bill is just one step away from being signed by Gov. Steve Bullock (D, MT), the same governor that just vetoed a bill that prevented Montana’s Sheriffs from being obligated to aid Federal law enforcement from any kind of gun grabs or gun bans (pertaining to semi-auto rifles, erroneously and intentionally termed “assault rifles”). A whole slew of commies are supporting and pushing for this; they’re swaged in “harmonious-sounding” names that falsely bespeak of serving the community: The Ruby Valley Conservation District, and Farmers and Ranchers for Montana, to cite a few.

There are armies of lobbyists, purchased-puppet-politicians, and advertising campaigns in the millions pushing this communist-statist agenda. Every day on the radio, their honeyed voices proclaim the “justice, economic benefits, and overall goodness” of a compact that will completely abrogate and nullify water rights and all but end private property. Every piece of land in Western Montana with a well will now have a regulator coming to tax and control it.

There will be another vote at the time this writing hits the site. I would appreciate any and all comments and useful information that you guys and gals can find out there pertaining to this and other power grabs of this nature. When does it end? Well, how it will end is not a question for some. Anyone who sets foot on private land to try and regulate water, perhaps AC/DC’s song, “Have a Drink on Me,” will be cranked up to the max. Bet you can guess what type of “instrument” will be “playing” in accompaniment to the tune! Hope you guys and gals are well, and I look forward to hearing from you. Keep us in your prayers, readers: we’ll need it.
