Libya or Haiti, Which is Worse for the Clinton Campaign?

On Monday, June 22nd, a media event, the devastating story of “The Clintons’ Republic of Haiti,” was live-streamed from the Pulitzer Center in Washington, DC. The following day it was posted on Youtube. The sound quality of the Youtube version is not first rate but you may want to download it because it probably won’t be available for long. So far it’s only had 38 views. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLoIXr8SplI Their in-depth report “The King and Queen of Haiti” covers all the juicy info in great detail .

Red Cross scrutinized for building only 6 homes with $500 million in Haiti

MY COMMENTS: Let me tell you a little bit about the American Red Cross. Remember when 9/11 happened and everyone was sending money into ARC to help those in need? The monies didn’t go to the families of those lost, or to help the firemen/policemen and their families. No, it got sent to wherever the ARC decided it was needed.

I remember my uncle telling me why he and his cousin, who were both in WWII in Europe, would never give a penny to the ARC. Because when they came off the fronts, there was the ARC, charging these wounded and battle worn soldiers a dime for a lousy cup of coffee.

Then there’s the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp. The ARC made a visit during WWII, and claimed it was a lovely setting, never questioning any of the people or looking behind the staged scenes, and never understanding how many were shipped off to Auschwitz and their deaths because of the “clean up” that happened for the Red Cross visit.

In recent years, the International Red Cross has been severely criticized for giving the Nazis good reports after their inspections, especially of Theresienstadt; they even praised the Nazis for their diligence in delivering the Red Cross packages to the Concentration camps despite the hardships of the war.

So, do I give to the American or International Red Cross?

An investigation has emerged showing that the American Red Cross wasted $500 million while attempting to rebuild Haiti following the devastating 2010 earthquake. It promised to build hundreds of permanent houses for those left homeless, but only built six. Anya Parampil takes a look at the investigation and how more than 100,000 Haitians remain homeless.
