As of Monday morning, July 20th, the flags had not been ordered to half staff by Hussein Obama, a failure which can only be seen as a snub to those killed, their families and the American people by the White House occupier. Perhaps he does so out of respect for and in solidarity with the terrorist trash who murdered them.
As reported by CNS News, Obama ordered the flags to half-staff on the day of the Newtown event and eventually issued an order the following day after the Fort Hood “workplace violence” incident.
Federal law states: “By order of the President, the flag shall be flown at half-staff upon the death of principal figures of the United States Government and the Governor of a state, territory, or possession, as a mark of respect to their memory. In the event of the death of other officials or foreign dignitaries, the flag is to be displayed at half-staff according to Presidential instructions or orders, or in accordance with recognized customs or practices not inconsistent with law.”The law also states that a governor can lower the U.S. flag in his or her state following the death of a state official or “the death of a member of the Armed Forces,” as described in the CNS News article.
The common time lag between an incident and the lowering of flags is at most one day, with same day orders a normal occurrence. When black communist radical Nelson Mandela died, the flags came down the almost immediately.
Certainly if they were Confederate flags he’d have no problem lowering them and dishonoring the memory of “evil white southerners.” This attack took place in the south, all of the victims were white, and they were killed by an “extremist” that “doesn’t represent Islam.” So there’s no plus side for Obama, no reason in his perverted mind to honor those who were killed in defense of our nation.
Even if he were to immediately order the flags lowered, the five days that have passed send a message to military men and women as well as the rest of us around America. It’s not his nation and to him, their lives simply “don’t matter.”
