Trump Explains 3rd Party Comment On Hannity.

Folks Trump keeps saying over, and over he wants to run as a Repub. He was pushed into a corner with this question, and he explains his answer to Hannity, and more. I do not believe he would run as a 3rd party candidate. He just wants to be treated nicely. In fact I think as he said it’s leverage so if he keeps leading , and the GOP does not back him it will be the GOP’s fault if he goes 3rd party. Do you follow my logic? If he’s not I think he will back the nominee.

He has said “I want to be the Repub Nominee”. Period. So if he is last man standing after primaries and whatnot it will be the GOP’s duty to back. If not we have an obligation to turn our backs on the GOP forever.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump shocked viewers Thursday night when he refused to rule out a third-party run, but in a post-debate interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, he said he did so only for “leverage” with the Republican establishment.

Right out of the gate, Fox News anchor Bret Baier asked the 10 top-tier presidential candidate if they would pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee and not run as a third-party candidate.

“Raise your hand now if you won’t make that pledge tonight,” Baier said.

Trump was the lone candidate to raise a hand. Much of the audience reacted in boos.

“I can’t say I have to respect the person — if it’s not me — the person who wins,” Trump said.

Trump explained his reasoning further after the debate on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.”

“I’ll make the pledge if I win,” he told the host. “Why should I give up that leverage if they don’t treat me well? You’re talking about the establishment Republicans.”

He added, “I may at some point do it. I’m starting to really like the establishment people.”

A Prediction You Should Hope is Wrong

In the coming years, it will be harder and harder for Americans to remain indifferent to Islamic terrorism, because so much of it will be close to home disrupting our daily lives and dividing the nation along a deep ideological fault line. We’ve already seen the split that followed in the aftermath of the Texas cartoon contest - as many condemned Pamela Geller as praised her.
That’s only a sample of things to come. As terrorist attacks in our nation become more frequent and more deadly, American thinking will become more sharply divided, pitting one side blaming the victims for being “provocative” against the other side blaming the Islamists for being terrorists. Depending on which worldview prevails, an oppressive atmosphere could settle over the USA – and for all and intents and purposes that would mean the terrorists have won a decisive battle in their Jihad to destroy our society and way of life.
The wild card in all this is the outcome of the 2016 election. It is probably our best (and last) hope. Americans are not quick studies and are easily distracted. 9/11 was a warning most of us have already forgotten. If we don’t elect a president who loves our Constitution, shares our values, and is willing to do the hard work to reverse Obama’s damage, we will suffer a slow death like the frog in the kettle. What happens after that is anyone’s guess.
