SalonBanGuns

Kudos to Salon. While Conservatives have been told that they’re crazy, and that “nobody wants to take your guns away!” Salon has the courage to admit that what liberals really want (what they’ve always wanted) is to completely repeal the Second Amendment…

We know this intuitively, since we’ve had to add numerous amendments to make up for their failures, lack, or just plain ignorance. But if we can add, we can also take away, by interpreting the Second Amendment differently or passing a new amendment that would effectively repeal it. We should never do so lightly, of course—taking away rights can be, and often is, a risky enterprise. But the purpose of a right should be individual and collective flourishing. A right, in other words, has as its goal the individual and common good, even if we don’t like to use such weighty moral terminology nowadays.

It’s not clear to me that gun ownership accomplishes that purpose. It seems more the case that it works against the good of all, in the havoc and murder it wreaks but also in the fear that in promotes. At the very least, we should have a discussion about the relationship of guns to the common good, instead of appealing like a fundamentalist to “rights” every time something happens that questions their value.

Flat-out, YES the left wants an all-out ban on guns. We’re not surprised by this at all, but for some liberals who think “gun control” is all about thorough background checks, limited capacity magazines, or the banning of scary guns based on their blackness or pistol grips, this could be news. Hopefully you’re sitting down. We told you so. Times a million.

BaneYes

To our faces when they’re on national TV or on the Twitterverse, liberals say “Nah, we don’t want to ban your guns,” but a mere few seconds later they praise the policy of Australia, which did enact a flat out ban (read Obama Praises Australia’s Gun Ban. The Actual Results… ). Incidentally, that same ban has resulted in more guns in Australia than ever before. Yes, really. Read Australia’s Gun Ban Results in More Guns Than Ever…New Findings.

So we do sincerely thank Salon.com for boldly going where all liberals have been living the entire time, but in secret. What they’ve whispered behind closed doors, new-wave leftists are now shouting from the rooftops. No more guns. Birth control for all. Lots of pedophilia, because they’re not monsters after all, just misunderstood (read No, Salon.com, I don’t Need to ‘Understand’ the Plight of Pedophiles). No really, Salon.com openly provides a platform for, and supports pedophiles.SexYes

Leftists have precisely the same respect for the Second Amendment that they have for the First Amendment. Lastly, Salon also thinks it’s totally fine to shoot people who own guns. Their reasoning? If you have a gun and you might use it one day, you should know how it feels. Read Salon.com Demands All Gun-Owners to be Shot. Yes, Really…

No wonder gun-control is the single most losing issue for leftists. Please Salon, by all means… continue.

A former U.S. congressman urged Attorney General Loretta Lynch to arrest him after she warned on Thursday that her office would take a more aggressive approach to those spewing anti-Muslim rhetoric.

“I think Islam has a real freaking problem, alright?” Former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh said in a video posted to his Facebook page. “There is a cancer in Islam, and if they’re not going to learn to assimilate, I don’t want them in this country.”

“You got a problem, Loretta Lynch, with me saying that? Then throw me in jail,” Walsh, a conservative talk show host, argued. “I think Islam is evil. I think Islam has a huge problem. I think most Muslims around the world are not compatible with American values. I don’t want them here.”

Walsh continued to slam Lynch in his video for the comments she made at Muslim Advocate’s 10th anniversary dinner one day after law enforcement officials say two people opened fire at a holiday party in San Bernardino, California, leaving 14 people dead and more than one dozen injured. According to reports, the wife pledged allegiance to the Islamic State on her Facebook page just moments before the attack.

“When we talk about the First Amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American. They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted,” Lynch said at the banquet. “My message not just to the Muslim community but to all Americans is: we cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on.”

Walsh, who know hosts his own radio program, served in Congress from 2011 to 2013.

In text that included some stronger language accompanying his video, which has been viewed more than 110,000 times as of Saturday morning, Walsh continued to argue that “most Muslims around the world are terrorists, support terrorism and/or support Sharia Law.”

“Any Muslim that is a terrorist or supports terrorism should be killed,” Walsh wrote. “If ‘Moderate’ Muslims don’t speak out against terrorism, they are our enemy and we should call them out and kick them out of this country.”

“Is that ‘anti-Muslim rhetoric’ that ‘edges toward violence,’” he continued. “Go ahead and prosecute me. I dare you.”

Muslims are killing us in the streets. I am unafraid to tell the truth. C’mon Loretta Lynch, ARREST ME!

Universities: Avoid Basically Anything Holiday-Related to Be ‘Inclusive’

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/428044/universities-holiday-guidelines-christmas-offensive
Even certain color combinations are not okay. Universities across the country are telling students and staff that they should avoid basically anything holiday-related in their seasonal displays and parties — including even certain color combinations — in order to ensure “inclusivity.”
It’s bad — and these three schools may be the worst:

1. Cornell University

Cornell University has some pretty infantilizing guidelines for a school supposedly attended by our brightest and most capable minds. They declared that no one should hang mistletoe, and it’s not even for the reason you might think, (which would be, of course, because mistletoe pressures people to kiss which perpetuates rape culture and sexual assault and no one would be safe.) Nope, the reason is even more ridiculous than that: Mistletoe is associated with Christmas, and non-Christian students could obviously be traumatized by having to see Christmas-related things during Christmastime. Other items in this category included trees decorated with any kind of religious anything (it did clarify that trees with bows, garlands, or lights were allowed “But Should be Basis of Dialogue Within Unit or Living Area,” whatever the hell that means), as well as angels, trees with stars on top, and menorahs. “University members are reminded to be respectful of the religious diversity of our students and colleagues and are encouraged to use an inclusive approach . . . focusing on the winter season rather than a particular holiday,” it advised.
By the way, the “Guidelines for the Display of Religious Symbols” and “Guidelines for Inclusive Seasonal Displays” were included in a document titled “Fire Safety Guidelines for Holidays Decorations [sic],” which could technically suggest that they’re saying mistletoe would also be a fire hazard. Perhaps they don’t realize that you actually don’t need to douse mistletoe in gasoline over an open flame before hanging it. To be fair, the university did say it was okay for students to “privately” place religious-related items in their own rooms. (Yes – “privately.” So, like where? Inside of their pillow cases and under their beds?)

2. University of Tennessee–Knoxville UT

Knoxville openly stated that its so-called “Best Practices for Inclusive Holiday Celebrations in the Workplace” was not an official policy, but a way to show that the school is “fully committed to a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive environment.” “Ensure your holiday party is not a Christmas party in disguise,” it advises. (After all, you know how sneaky and insidious people can be with their holiday spirit!) The document recommended including “food and decor from multiple religions” — which was actually a bit confusing, considering that the guidelines later stated that “refreshment selection should be general, not specific to any religion or culture.” It also advised that you not call Secret Santa “Secret Santa,” but instead something like “practical joke gift exchange” or “secret gift exchange,” neither of which really have the same ring to it. Games of Dreidel were deemed totally offensive no matter what you called them. “Consider having a New Year’s party and include décor and food from multiple religions and cultures,” it suggested. “Use it as an opportunity to reinvigorate individuals for the new year’s goals and priorities.” Yes… a snowflake-themed life-coaching session! How fun!

3. Ohio State University

Ohio State described its guidelines as a “living document” of suggestions for how to avoid showing “disrespect or disregard for the religious beliefs or nonbeliefs of our students and colleagues. “Decorations and food should be general and not privilege any religion,” it stated.
So, you know, keep your sugar cookies blank. Probably a good idea. After all, whenever I see one of those Pillsbury “Ready To Bake!” Christmas tree-printed sugar cookies, the first thing I do is get upset about how brutally disrespected I’ve been. It did state that bows were kind of okay, but “preferably not red and green” ones — which seems to be taking it a bit far. Seeing red and green can be pretty traumatizing, but I feel like a simple sign outside of the party saying “Trigger Warning: You may encounter red and green at this party!” would probably be enough. The guidelines were previously covered in an article on Campus Reform.

Google is now after your blood: Patent reveals the firm is planning a ‘needle-free’ way to collect samples using smartwatches

  • System takes form of a handheld device or wearable in patent designs

  • It would send air down a barrel to make ‘micro-particle’ pierce skin

  • The blood droplet would then be sucked in to the device to be analysed

Smartwatches already collect data about your heart rate, how much exercise you do and your stress levels, but in the future they could take this a considerable step further.

Google has filed a patent for a ‘needle-free blood draw’ system that could be built into a wearable attached to someone’s wrist, or a hand-held device.

The filing describes a machine that sends a pulse of gas into a barrel containing a ‘micro-particle’ capable of puncturing the skin and drawing a small drop of blood.

The filing describes a machine that sends a pulse of gas into a barrel containing a ‘micro-particle’ capable of puncturing the skin and drawing a small drop of blood

According to the patent, once the droplet forms it is sucked up into a negative pressure barrel.

This makes the process quicker and less messy than using a needle, or even a blood glucose meter, which administers a ‘pin prick’ to the finger.

Google suggests the device could even replace glucose testers used by diabetics entirely.

The patent said: ‘Such an application might be used to draw a small amount of blood, for example, for a glucose test.’

Google suggests the device would one day replace glucose testers used by diabetics and could even take the form of a wearable resembling a smartwatch (pictured). It points out that the smallest possible puncture is needed to cause as little pain as possible, but very small diameter needles can snap easily

It points out that the smallest possible puncture is needed to cause as little pain as possible, but very small diameter needles can snap easily

It points out that the smallest possible puncture is desirable to cause as little pain as possible, but very small diameter needles can fail to pierce the skin or snap because they’re not strong enough.

However, the use of a ‘micro particle’ propelled by gas at a high speed could solve this problem.

Google is already working on smart contact lenses and a cloud-connected sensors to help diabetics monitor their glucose levels.

A wearable or handheld device would therefor fit neatly into this initiative.

However, as with all patents, there is no guarantee the idea will ever become a reality.

Google is not the only tech giant taking steps into the healthcare market.

Health data has become the next big battleground among tech companies as a new generation of wearable gadgets allow users to measure heart rates, sleep patterns and exercise activities.

At the end of last year, Google launched Google Fit to go head-to-head with Apple HealthKit.

It aims to put all of a user’s health details into one place from a variety of fitness and health apps.

Apple’s HealthKit acts as a hub for data such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse monitored by its watch as well as weight and exercise.

The idea is that iPhone and Apple Watch users will soon be able to send results direct to GPs.

What will it take to STOP government from insisting upon injecting Gardasil into our children ?

5* Do our loved ones & friends KNOW ?

  • Note taken from Health Sciences Institute e-Alert - Jenny Thompson - 12/1/15

    Dear Reader,

Joel Gomez was just 14 years old when he went to bed one August night — and never woke up.

His frantic relatives tried CPR to revive him. Paramedics rushed to the scene.

But it was too late — his heart had given out.

It wasn’t some genetic defect or lifelong heart condition that killed Joel. An expert who reviewed his autopsy concluded that he was the latest victim of the HPV vaccine Gardasil.

Since Day One, I’ve been warning you how vaccines like Gardasil have been linked to horrific side effects. And how it’s left once-healthy girls and boys paralyzed and sometimes dead.

But Joel’s death is revealing another serious risk to this dangerous vaccine.

One that can strike in just hours — and that you deserve to know about before ever agreeing to the shot for a child you love.

A shot to the heart

I’ve told you stories of young kids passing out right in their doctors’ offices after getting a shot of Gardasil.

It’s a risk that even the CDC and the FDA have warned about, and it happens because Gardasil can actually impede heart function and keep enough blood from reaching your brain.

But it looks like the damage Gardasil can do to young kids’ hearts may last long after the dizziness or fainting spells pass.

When Joel’s family hired an independent medical expert, Dr. Sin Hang Lee, to review Joel’s autopsy, he found something you should never see in a healthy teen.

Just hours after getting his second Gardasil shot, Joel died of myocarditis. That’s an inflammation of the heart muscle you normally find in older heart failure patients.

It was as if he had the heart of an old — and very sick — man!

Even worse, Dr. Lee found evidence that the first Gardasil injection gave Joel a “silent heart attack” that was never diagnosed. And the young boy’s heart was still recovering from the damage when he got the second dose.

“There is no other plausible cause” of Joel’s death, according to Dr. Lee.

Now lots of the talk about the side effects of Gardasil has focused on paralyzing conditions like Guillain-Barre Syndrome — which can leave kids in wheelchairs if it doesn’t kill them first.

But when he poured through CDC statistics, Dr. Lee found at least half a dozen other reports of heart-related deaths among children who were given Gardasil.

There have been lots of cases of Gardasil causing dangerously low blood pressure (the same problem that can trigger fainting spells). And that can be especially dangerous for active teens like Joel who play sports that can put strain on their hearts.

Any sudden case of low blood pressure when the body’s demand for oxygen is most critical, such as participating in a sporting activity, could cause heart damage like the kind that killed Joel.

That’s why Dr. Lee is giving an urgent warning to parents and grandparents of teenage athletes.

If your child or grandchild has recently been given a Gardasil injection, Dr. Lee says they should be held out of competitive sports for at least two months.

Just imagine the millions of kids who’ve gotten the shot over the years without ever receiving that warning!

Dr. Lee also advises having your child given an electrocardiogram in the event of any chest discomfort, rapid heartbeat or loss of consciousness experienced during that time.

Unfortunately, with locales like Virginia, Rhode Island and the District of Columbia now mandating Gardasil — and threatening to throw students out of school if they don’t get the shot — countless more kids like Joel will be put in harm’s way.

But the safest course of action is still to keep that Gardasil syringe far away from the children you love.

Because no matter how Big Pharma and our government try to explain away the dangers, the list of risks — and victims — seems to be growing by the day.

To Your Good Health,

Jenny Thompson

Middle Eastern Men Arrested Near Mexican Border with Steel Cylinders

Five young Middle Eastern men were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol this week in an Arizona town situated about 30 miles from the Mexican border, law enforcement and other sources told Judicial Watch.

Border Patrol agents spotted the men crossing a ranch property in the vicinity of Amado, which is located about 35 miles south of Tucson and has a population of 275. Two of the Middle Eastern men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, JW’s sources say, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for backup. A multitude of federal agents descended on the property and the two men carrying the cylinders were believed to be taken into custody by the FBI.

Only three of the men’s names were entered in the Border Patrol’s E3 reporting system, which is used by the agency to track apprehensions, detention hearings and removals of illegal immigrants. E3 also collects and transmits biographic and biometric data including fingerprints for identification and verification of individuals encountered at the border. The other two men were listed as “unknown subjects,” which is unheard of, according to a JW federal law enforcement source. “In all my years I’ve never seen that before,” a veteran federal law enforcement agent told JW.

The disturbing incident comes just days after six men—one from Afghanistan, five from Pakistan—were arrested in nearby Patagonia, a quaint ranch town that sits 20 miles north of the Mexican border city of Nogales. Federal authorities have confirmed the November 17 arrests and a local news outlet published a story that includes an official statement from the Border Patrol. Special Agent Kurt Remus in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Phoenix headquarters told JW that the agency’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces vetted and interviewed the six men and determined that there were “no obvious signs of terrorism” so they were returned to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.

However, Special Agent Remus told JW that there is no record of this week’s incident in Amado and that he knew nothing about it. JW also put in a call to DHS headquarters, but received no response. In the last year JW has broken a number of stories involving serious terrorist threats on the southern border that were disputed on the record by various Obama administration officials. Among these is an April report—confirmed by high-level Mexican authorities—about ISIS operating camps near the U.S. border in areas known as Anapra and Puerto Palomas west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.

Last fall JW was the first to report on an Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) plot orchestrated from Ciudad Juárez to attack the U.S. with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED). As a result of JW’s reporting Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army base in El Paso, increased security. The threat was imminent enough to place agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies on alert. A few weeks later JW reported that four ISIS terrorists were arrested by federal authorities and the Texas Department of Public Safety in McAllen and Pharr.

San Bernardino Terrorist To Jewish Victim: ‘You Will Never See Israel’

According to the pastor of one of the victims of the San Bernardino terror attack, just weeks prior to the deadly shooting, Sayed Farook told Nicholas Thalasinos—a devout Messianic Jew and fellow health inspector—“You will never see Israel.”

Pastor Bruce Dowell of the Shiloh Messianic Congregation in California told Sean Hannity on Friday’s radio show, “[Thalasino’s] wife told my wife… [Farook] said to Nick ‘you will never see Israel.’ That’s according to his wife, Jennifer and that comes straight from my wife. She was with her for the last two days.” The pastor said Farook told that to his congregant “face-to-face” approximately two weeks before the attack.

According to Dowell, Farook was the county food inspector for the region, and a colleague had recently done a walk-through with him at a Christian camp. The pastor said he did not know Farook but that his son did, telling Sean “my son said he wasn’t an overly friendly individual.”

Dowell said Thalasinos was a deacon with their congregation who served faithfully. He was also a conservative and fan of Sean Hannity’s. “He absolutely did love you. He is very conservative in his views…He was always talking about your show,” said the pastor.

LA Times political “expert’s” silly stream of consciousness shows msm still doesn’t get Trump’s rise

By Kevin “Coach” Collins FOR COACHISRIGHT.COM

After five months of waiting for Donald Trump to fade away, some of the geniuses who make believe they know politics are beginning to fall silent – at least the brighter ones anyway.

Steven Hayward, the all-knowing clown at the Los Angeles Times has apparently never heard the expression advising, “It is better to be thought a fool and remain silent than to speak and remove all doubt.” In July the sagacious Hayward confidently wrote that Trump would be gone by Thanksgiving and probably thought he was being generous with that prediction.

Now that reality has smacked him in the face he is backtracking – well sort of anyway. In his convoluted mea culpa Hayward travels all over the landscape searching for a cogent thought that will save his face and enable him to remain steadfast in his insistence that 1) Trump won’t get the Republican nomination; and 2) if he somehow does he would lose to the very flawed Hillary Clinton; and 3) Trump would be a terrible and ineffective president and finally (as if he was actually worried about it), Trump would destroy the Republican Party.

He refers to Trump’s claim to be a better manager than anyone in Washington as, “somewhere below the 8thgrade level.” Then he swerves into the truth saying, “… elected officials are held in such low regard that 55% of the public says “ordinary Americans” would do a better job of solving national problems.”

He does this without acknowledging that Trump is far from an “ordinary American,” but of course the not to be taken seriously Hayward is incapable of honest thought.

To add a little comedic value to his screed, Hayward lauds business failure Carly Fiorina as the only serious “outsider.” That Fiorina obviously memorizes her responses to debate questions like some sort of homely demented parrot and uses them even when they are not relevant to the subject at hand, is apparently of no consequence to him.

Hayward closes his Wile E. Coyote-like attack on Trump with a mouth full of sour grapes saying, “One or two more successful terrorist attacks (especially if there is one here at home) and Trump’s “no more nonsense” persona could put him over the top.” Note: it will not be Trump’s recognized capabilities, but his “persona,” that “could put him over the top.”

This is what passes for top notch political analysis these days.
