Less than a week after the San Bernardino shooting, the ghost of ISIS terrorism has finally landed in London, where moments ago news broke that a man wileding a machete screamed “this is for Syria” before slashing a person’s throat at London’s Leytonstone subway station, and attacking up to three people.

The following video of the incident was released on Twitter hours ago, and shows a large pool of blood spattered across the ticket hall before the alleged knifeman is Tasered by a Met Police officer.

The Express released the following pictures of what it has dubbed the “Syria revenge” stabbing:

As the Telegraph reports, police were called to Leytonstone station after reports of a stabbing in the ticket hall on Saturday at around 7pm. The alleged assailant was promptly tasered by police at the scene.

Terrified passengers, some with children, can be seen running across the east London Tube station away from the scene.

As recounted by the Guardian, one person, who claims to have witnessed the attack, took to social media to reveal details of the horror.

Laurynas Godvisa said: “So as I was going to Leytonstone station was dressed to go to Christmas dinner with people from work.

“As I walked down I just saw a lot of people running but I ignored it and kept walking to get my train, but suddenly what I saw I couldn’t believe my eyes and what I saw was a guy with a knife and a dead guy on the floor.

“I was so scared I ran for my life. After good 10-15 police came and got the guy and arrested him.

“And as he was coming out this is what he said: ‘This is what happens when you f*** with mother Syria all of your blood will be spilled’.”

A Met Police spokesman confirmed the incident saying that “Police were called at 19:06hrs on Saturday, 5 December, to reports of a stabbing at Leytonstone underground station. The male suspect was reportedly threatening other people with a knife.

“Met officers attended the scene. A man was arrested at 19:14hrs and taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody. A Taser was discharged by one of the Met officers.”

“Officers from British Transport Police are now dealing with the incident at the scene. We are aware of one man having sustained serious stab injuries. We await details of any other injuries.”

So far there is little news on the condition of the victim of the attack: one victim is in a serious condition with multiple stab wounds and it is believed up to two others may also have been injured.

A spokeswoman from London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:09pm to reports of an assault at Leytonstone underground station We sent a number of resources to the including our joint response unit, an incident response officer, an ambulance crew and London’s Air Ambulance to the scene. We treated a man for stab wounds. He was taken as a priority to hospital escorted by the doctor from London’s Air Ambulance.”

And while it is only a matter of time before a “terrorist” link is found in this latest attack meant to put another western country on edge and to justify the UK’s recent launch of air strikes against ISIS, we wonder if there will be a front page op-ed in a leading liberal UK newspaper tomorrow demanding that all machetes be henceforth banned even as local TV crews stream live from the home of the alleged terrorist.

Update: as expected, the “terrorist” link was just been revealed with Sky News reported that the subway incident is already being treated as an act of terrorism:

Islamic State-follower Tashfeen Malik fired the first shots in last week’s deadly attack on southern California government workers — not her husband — leading investigators to consider that she might have been a “honey trap ” and the real brains of their terrorist assault.

And not only did Malik squeeze off initial rounds in the slaughter of 14 innocent people in San Bernardino, Calif. witnesses said her hubby, Syed Rizwan Farook, appeared to “hesitate” before joining in the bloodbath, witnesses have told intelligence officials, The Sunday Times of London reported.

Malik went to the left and Farook to the right, when they entered a large conference room of the Island Regional Center in San Bernardino, witnesses said.

She took a firing “stance” with her long gun and opened fire on workers gathered near a Christmas tree while Farook appeared to hold back – either losing his nerve or looking for a specific target – before he started to shoot, The Times reported.

The two quickly left the scene before cops arrived.

As Farook drove their black Expedition, Malik crouched in the back seat and opened fire on pursuing police.

Before they were killed by cops, Farook and Malik fired 76 rounds during the chase while police squeezed off 380 shots.

Malik’s potential lead role in the slaughter has FBI officials believing Farook might have been led into jihad by a “honey trap” wife who sought him out as a potential terror accomplice.

Farook had frequented dating Web sites and told friends he met Malik online.

Christian Nwadike, a colleague of Farook who barely escaped death last week, said he noticed a change in him after his marriage to Malik.

Now looking back, Nwadike said: “I think he married a terrorist.”

The last meal Malik and Farook enjoyed in their home was orange juice and paratha bread – and perhaps a dose of Adderall and Xanax, investigators said.

The drugs, meant to increase focus and calm nerves, were found near where the murderous duo had their last meal.

This could have been an ordinary antidote for stressed out young parents with a baby girl. But those bottles of medication found near their final meal added a disturbing new detail to Wednesday’s slaughter.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia on Sunday sought to distance itself from last week’s mass murder.

Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki said there’s no indication Malik was radicalized in Saudi Arabia. Al-Turki said Saudi records show she was not a resident of Saudi Arabia and had been to the kingdom only twice in her life.

On both trips, she came to visit her family, once in 2008 for several weeks and the second time in 2013 for four months. Farook, an American-born son of Pakistani immigrants, reportedly tied the knot with Malik in Saudi Arabia.

There are any number of liberal organizations that have fractured the rules of civility in order to advance the socialist agenda. Of these Obama aligned, leftist groups, none is more perverse in its grotesque slanders and misleading claims than the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

MORRIS DEES SPLC

Morris Dees

The SPLC was founded in 1971 by Morris Dees, Julian Bond and Joseph Levin. According to his law partner Millard Fuller, Dees’ only interest was to make money, a lot of it, and he didn’t care how. As cases in point, in 1958 Dees served as the state campaign manager for McDonald Gallion, a segregationist running for attorney general in Alabama. In 1961, members of the Freedom Riders suffered a brutal beating in Montgomery and when one of the men charged came to the Dees/Fuller office for representation, they happily took the case. The White Citizens Council and KKK financed the legal fees.

In short, Dees—who began the SPLC with the purpose of providing legal representation for mistreated blacks—was eager to take money and court publicity whenever an opportunity presented itself. The particular side of an argument Dees represented was of little concern.

Here are some examples of Morris Dees’ history with the SPLC:

In 1975, Dees was removed from a court of law for trying to bribe a witness in the Joan Little case. The charges were later dropped, but the presiding judge refused to let Dees back into his court. This was one of the first cases involving the Alliance against Racist and Political Repression, a communist group intent on turning the trial into a political movement rather than a legal one.

By 1988, Dees was mailing appeals for donations to almost half a million Americans. The “non-profit” SPLC was a left of center group that raised more than any other. In 1993, because of fundraising practices that provoked watchdog groups to question the methods they used, the American Institute of Philanthropy rated the SPLC a “D” on an A to F scale. The Institute had decided that Dees was hardly a philanthropist!

In 1991 the SPLC formed Klanwatch, but rather than assisting black clients, Klanwatch was used as a clandestine arm of the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.

In 1994, the Montgomery Advertiser exposed the unethical fundraising practices of Dees and the SPLC. It seems the SPLC stated in a fund raising letter that the group had received an award from the United Klan of America of $7 million to pay the mother of Michael Donald, when in actuality, she only received a little less than $52,000. The SPLC used the lie in mailings to supporters, SPLC MORRIS DEESbringing in millions of dollars.

The court cases that the SPLC has handled for blacks since the organizations founding have been minimal, with many lasting years and later unresolved. The SPLC has been put forth as a center working for the rights of blacks, a crusader to end the suffering and discrimination that blacks have suffered over the past 20 years. And yet the SPLC has been run entirely by whites, hiring only two black staff attorneys over the years, both of whom left shortly thereafter.

In 1986, the entire SPLC staff resigned in protest of the direction the SPLC was taking. Instead of chasing the Klan, a largely irrelevant and forgotten group in the United states, the staff believed more time should be spent on issues of greater importance to poor minorities, such as poverty, jobs, voter registration, and homelessness. Dees disagreed. It seemed he was more concerned about keeping the money flowing in. Since 1984, the SPLC has taken in about $62 million dollars, with only $21 million being spent on various programs according to tax records on file.

In 1994, a Birmingham News investigation showed that blacks MORRIS DEES SPLC 2were not happy working for the SPLC. Christine Lee who interned at the SPLC in 1984, was told “We don’t need black people telling us how to handle black problems.” Dees responded to the charges by saying, “we don’t have white slots, and black slots. The most discriminated against people in the country are white men when it comes to jobs.”

In a 1996 article, it was reported that Dees’ SPLC was the richest civil rights organization with $68 million in assets. In the same USA Today article, Stephen Bright, a Dees associate told a reporter that “Dees is a fraud who has lied to a great many wonderful, caring people.”

It has been claimed that Dees has pushed for associations of two or more people who train in firearms to be deemed “Illegal Militias.” It should perhaps come as no surprise that the SPLC “discovers” more “Militias” in the US than any other organization.

There were rumors of Dees paying witnesses and supplying hush money in the trial of Tom Metzger, a neo-Nazi extremist. These accusations were put forward by Greg Withrow, one of the witnesses.

I’ll discuss additional corrupt practices of the SPLC, including its still unexplained association with the FBI during the Oklahoma City Bombing, in my next CiR piece.

Who is enabling the movement of ISIS’s oil?

In June of 2014, friendly forces captured documents from an ISIS courier after the fall of Mosul. The information he was carrying revealed that the terrorist organization had assets estimated to be worth approximately $875 million. Much of this was involved in the capture of the central bank in Mosul. This raised the value of the Islamic State to over two billion dollars. The majority of the ISIS OIL 3group’s wealth today includes proceeds from the capture and continuing operations of oil fields taken in Syria and Iraq.

The Caliphate makes an estimated $50 million a month selling crude oil on the black market. The 11 oil fields ISIS controls produce between 25,000 and 40,000 barrels per day. The oil is being smuggled through Iran, Kurdistan, Turkey and Syria. Oil smuggling is not new in Iraq and Syria. In fact, ISIS is using the same routes and networks first created by the regime of Saddam Hussein to bypass US sanctions. The smuggling routes are still very active as Iran and Turkey have become major conduits working with ISIS. Crude is smuggled by tankers to Jordan via Anbar province, to Iran through Kurdistan and oil from Mosul is transported through Turkey to Syria’s local market. ISIS needs the ISIS OIL 2cash to purchase weapons and pay fighters.

Turkish authorities have turned a blind eye to the smuggling routes in their country. They will continue to allow this activity until pressured by western countries, something very unlikely to happen. Seems that Russia was the only country to point this out. Even tough Turkey angrily denied that crude is being moved through its territory, Ankara is doing nothing to halt the flow of ISIS oil. Russia exposed the routes when it published photographic evidence showing oil trucks crossing the Turkish border. The only nations interested in stopping the flow of ISIS oil are Russia and France. The Islamic States’ biggest asset is also its Achilles heel. Attacking the oil fields, refineries and transportation routes would greatly impact the fuel that really drives the caliphate–money. Turkey’s President Erdogan and Barack Obama have no interest in shutting down ISIS’s cash cow. Without the money derived from the sale of stolen oil, ISIS could no longer be a major threat in the region. What is going to happen when ISIS manages to capture Saudi Arabian or Kuwaiti oil fields?

Why Truth Hidden of Muslim Attacks in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, Ca 12/3/15—has anyone noticed what follows every time there is an obviously Muslim mass shooting? The Obama Administration first blames the NRA, and then says to not ‘jump to conclusions, that this is probably simply a case of workplace violence…so he saith.

Surely you remember this tactic from the Ft. Hood massacre by a Muslim service officer who was foolishly allowed into the U.S. Military with a position of authority. It took days to finally hear the truth, a truth of which most everyone was duly aware.

These truth delays (think tooth decay) allow Obama to first allow passions to simmer (we must not be angry at Muslims doncha know) while hammering home that THIS is why we must get rid of our guns. This is part of his stalling for time.

As usual, when the San Bernardino Islamic murders took place at a Social Services office, killing 14 and critically wounding 17, the authorities say they have no proof that this was a “terrorist’” attack. (?) Furthermore, they don’t know the identities of the shooters nor their race or possible ethnic origin. Yep, they have no idea. Residue of a bull!

First of all, the name of one of the shooters was, Syed Rizwan Farook with the other shooter, a woman, named, Tashfeen Malik. This was learned almost immediately, but they did not want us to know since they had distinctively Muslim names. It was later learned that the female was his wife whom he had met on a dating site. In fact he subscribed to two of them. They were dressed in military combat uniforms (ISIS style) with long barreled military type guns. The murder plan had been carefully orchestrated showing they were indeed on a well planned ‘mission.’

FURTHERMORE, it would have been easy to get an idea where they came from. It would have been a simple matter of taking off their black hoods from their heads. Then, while everything was still in action, this report came in.

A Redlands area neighbor who lived four houses from Farook, said that a man working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to ‘racially profile” these people, while thinking, “what are these people doing around the neighborhood?” A few people saw this.

Such is the culture we live in, where society has been reminded every day that “if you see something, say something.” But people are brainwashed into being fearful of being shunned as a bigot and a racist.” This is constantly drilled into our heads.

The old philosophers had opinions about what we call “profiling” and “stereotyping” individuals. David Hume (1711-1776) analyzed the principle which determines one to reach a conclusion:

“The principle is CUSTOM OF HABIT. For wherever the repetition of any particular act or operation produces a propensity to renew the same act or operation, without being impelled by any reasoning or process of the understanding; we always say, this propensity is the act of custom. By employing that word, we pretend not to have given the ultimate reason of such a propensity. We only point out a principle of human nature, which is universally acknowledged and which is well known by its effects. Perhaps we can push our enquiries no farther, or pretend to give the cause of this cause; but must rest contented with it as the ultimate principle, which we can assign, of all our conclusions from experience.” This explains why profiling is not a sin.

Vocativ deep web analysts discovered the sickening ISIS posts on web forums where the extremists frequently share information. “Three lions made us proud. They are still alive,” one ISIS adherent tweeted in Arabic after the shootings at Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. “California streets are full with soldiers with heavy weapons. The Unites States is burning #America_Burning #Takbir”

It would have not been complicated to learn that Syed Farook regularly attended the Riverside Mosque. As reported in the New York Daily News, his father stated; “My son was a very religious Muslim. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back.” Recently he skipped going to Mosque, probably due to his preparing for this massacre. At the same time, Obama is preparing to bring in 100,000 more Muslim “refugees.”

Meanwhile, as we wait for the truth to be told by Obama, even though none of us will live that long, the imposter in the White House uses this info-silent time to state over and over: This shows why we MUST have stricter gun control laws.

TRANSLATION: Every citizen must be disarmed to prevent this sort of thing for their own safety. Sure. The goal is to be certain no citizens are armed so that when Obama’s comrades force communism and Sharia law on America, nobody will be able to fight back, since only the bad guys will have guns while the law-abiding do not. We must NOT let this happen.

This can and MUST be stopped by getting the Communist fraud out of the Oval Office. The Congress and Senate have the power to have him immediately impeached; Better yet, arrested for treason.

There is more than enough evidence to see this done. It is up to us…yes, US, to contact our congressperson or senator to demand that this be done. Again, I am calling all patriots to respond. The time is now very short before we will all live in hell on earth if Obama manages to pull off what he intends. We CAN stop him. Call, fax, and email.

Obama’s AG Assures Muslim Protection-DAY AFTER MASSACRE!!!

WASHINGTON, D.C. 12/4/15—Obama’s lap dog Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, demonstrated how idiotic and traitorous the entire Obama Administration has proven to be. On Thursday, yesterday, the day after the horrendous Muslim attack on a county health office in San Bernardino, California, that killed 14 innocent people and seriously wounded 21, she was telling a pro-Muslim group: “We stand with you.” Just ponder this a moment.

The occasion was a 10th anniversary dinner for Muslim Advocates, a ‘civil rights’ organization. PAUSE FOR TRANSLATION: Advocate means’ civil rights’ for Muslims, putting them on the same shelf as Americans only they are supported by us, getting welfare and housing while demanding the right to establish their own law (Sharia) in the areas they live in and gradually spreading it out to cover an entire community or city, putting them in total control.

Their law means having as many ‘wives’ as the care to have and are at liberty to have sex with children, indeed they can marry 8 year old girls. This culture must be accepted by citizens.

They do not have to assimilate or obey our laws, but bring their own living habits and demands wherever they settle. That is what a Muslim advocate does.

Lynch (there will be no titles of respect) stated that her ‘greatest fear’ is the ‘incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric’. According to GOPUSA, she will stop such hate speech by prosecuting anyone guilty of rhetoric which can spur on acts of violence and vowed to use her Justice Department to protect Muslims from “violence and discrimination.” Could she possibly work in some Christian protection along with this?

Listen carefully: she says, we must fully accept Muslims without discriminating against them, no matter what their lifestyle is, what they do, or who they do it to. How’s that again? While we are still burying the bodies of those murdered by Muslim jihadists two days ago in San Bernardino, California, Obama’s Attorney General is telling us that we are not to speak badly of Muslims, or else? She made it clear that she will prosecute those who do.

According to The Daily Caller; “Lynch, while speaking to the Muslim advocacy group, urged ‘Muslim parents to contact the Justice Department and the Department of Education if their children are bullied at school.’

She rambles on to state: “Other areas in which we are seeing growing areas of concern, specifically involve our children, (?) and the issues of bullying and the school,” which she proclaimed during a question-and-answer session at that event. She went on to state: “We saw bullying a lot in the New York area (right after 9/11), where there would be a backlash against the Muslim community in general.” Well…duh! These stone-age savages had just killed over 3000 of our people in a cowardly sneak attack that no one expected. And we are supposed to only state what great people they are?

To further address what she said is a growing problem, the bullying of Muslim kids, Lynch urged parents to contact the federal government. No doubt, with the Islamic sympathizer in the Oval Office, she will get all the cooperation she needs. She might even get the National Guard to come to the rescue to arrest the “bullies” and their parents.

She wound it up by saying: “My message is not to just the Muslim community, but to the entire American community, which is this: we cannot give in to fear that these backlashes are really based on.

May we inform you, Ms. Attorney General, these backlashes against Muslims are not based entirely upon fear, but of wisely exercising extreme caution when they are near, knowing by their consistent behavior and actions, that they have the propensity of continuing the same actions of murder and destruction. That has been proven over and over.

It is unsettling that I must even write this story detailing the insanity of our present administration. This entire administration is nowhere near being legitimate. It was Communist billionaire George Soros along with the entire Communist Party USA (CPUSA) that force-fed Obama to America. He was not voted in! Obama was forced into office in a silent coup.

Obama intends to pull an executive order to declare himself “president for life’ next year before the election. There will no doubt be a crisis he can use to achieve this. If there is no legitimate crisis, he will create one so that people will think he needs to stay in office.

IF the people rise up, lock and load, and gather, Obama and his handlers will then humbly rescind his order and allow the ‘election’ to proceed. Hillary Clinton will be the next one put in office, as she will continue the very policies Obama has created. Again, she will NOT be voted in, but placed there by the very same forces and powers that placed Obama in the Oval Office. We all lose as a result.

That is UNLESS patriots take action by first flooding your congress and senate representative along with the Speaker of the House by phone, fax, or email, to either impeach Obama or escort him out under arrest for treason. It is entirely up to those of us who do not want to see The United States of America go down into the hole of other third world countries.

Ten out of 71 recruits for the Islamic State terror group arrested in the U.S. since 2014 are women, according to a new report which demonstrates that the role of women in the extremist group’s ranks is increasing.

Since March 2014, 71 individuals have been charged with Islamic State-related activities, 56 were arrested in 2015 alone, a record number of terrorism-related arrests for any year since 9/11 according to the report from George Washington University’s Program on Extremism.

Although a majority of Islamic State recruits and supporters tend to be male, an alarming number of women are joining the extremist group and helping to carry out its jihadist agenda.

Researchers identified 300 American and/or U.S.-based Islamic State sympathizers who use social media to radicalize new recruits. About one third of those accounts were operated by women, according to the report.

Democratic lawmakers are planning to attend prayer services at a Washington-area mosque that has been accused of acting as a front for Hamas and that served as the home of terrorist spiritual leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who reportedly mentored two of the 9/11 hijackers.

On the heels of a deadly mass shooting by two Muslim individuals in San Bernardino, California, a group of Democratic lawmakers said they would attend Friday prayer services at the Dar al-Hijrah Mosque in Virginia, which has been linked to the financing of terrorists and where al-Awlaki served as the spiritual leader.

The Democrats set to attend include Reps. Don Beyer (D., Va.), Joseph Crowley (D., N.Y.), Betty McCollum (D., Minn.), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D., D.C.), and several Virginia state lawmakers,according to the New York Times.

Beyer told the Times that the visit could help diffuse tensions with the Muslim community in the wake of the San Bernardino attack and the recent terrorist massacre in Paris.

“After Paris and after the House resolution a few weeks ago, we just thought it was really important to continue to reiterate to the many, many peace-loving Muslim Americans that they were still a welcome part of our community,” Bayer said.

The accused attackers in San Bernardino reportedly pledged their allegiance to the Islamic State before carrying out the rampage.

Al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in 2011, began service as Dar al-Hijrah’s imam in January 2001. He is accused of acting as a key recruiter for al Qaeda and as serving as a spiritual adviser for those aligned with the terror group.

Treasury Department records have indicated that, in the past, Dar al-Hijrah acted “as a front for Hamas operatives in U.S.,” and was at one point “associated with Islamic extremists,” according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism.

Dar al-Hijrah has come “under numerous investigations for financing and providing aid and comfort” to extremist groups, according to these records compiled by the Investigative Project.

The FBI indicted a former board member at the mosque, Abdulhaleem al-Ashqar, in 2004 for his alleged participation in a financing scheme meant to provide money to Hamas.

While al-Ashqar was acquitted on these charges, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for contempt and obstruction of the investigation.

A founding member of Dar al-Hijrah, Ismail Elbarasse, also has been accused of working for Hamas’s top leadership. The FBI accused Elbarasse of wiring $735,000 to a Hamas operative in 2004, according to the Investigative Project.

Past preachers at the mosque have been accused of disseminating extremist rhetoric that encourages violence.

Imam Shakir El-Sayed in 2009 condoned Palestinian violence during a speech at the mosque.

“Islam does not accept peace when its communities are humiliated, when it is exploited, when it is manipulated, when our rights are taken away, when our communities are being killed or attached, the blood is being shed, then this is not time to talk about peace. It will only be time to fight back,” the imam said, according to the Investigative Project.

The mosque has additionally hosted Sami Al-Arian, who pleaded guilty in 2006 to assisting the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Patrick Poole, a terrorism analyst and national security reporter who has covered the mosque, told the Washington Free Beacon that Dar al-Hijrah has been a “premier” spot for “terrorist recruitment” and questioned why Democrats would choose this as a site to promote tolerance.

“That Democrats in the name of tolerance and diversity are mainstreaming extremists like this is inherently damaging to the Muslim community,” Poole said. “These same folks just yesterday wanted to take away the Second Amendment rights of those on the terror watch list, and now they want to embrace a mosque that we know from FOIAs was on the terror watch list. Unbelievable.”

A biology professor at the University of California, Irvine subjected his class to an off-topic discourse on gun control Thursday in response to the San Bernardino shootings.

In a video provided to Campus Reform by Peter Van Voorhis, a student in the class, Prof. Richard Symanski advises his introductory-level Biological Sciences 1A course—specifically singling out the many freshmen that he knew would be in attendance—that if they are looking for a cause with which to become involved, they should “probably jump on this gun issue,” noting that it “just boggles my mind every time I think about it.”

He succinctly summarized his “pitch” at the end of the discourse, saying, “If you want a cause—want to get on a bandwagon—then get these guns outlawed, and do something about the Second Amendment.”

“I am totally for people expressing their opinions, but when professors do it, they have a captive audience,” Van Voorhis told Campus Reform. “If I could debate him, I would win.”

Symanski’s remarks were inspired by the shooting in San Bernardino, California Wednesday afternoon, but he tied that into the subject of mass shootings in general, asserting that the National Rifle Association (NRA) is to blame for those tragedies because it opposes gun control, and contending that “automatic weapons” should be a common-sense exception to the Second Amendment.

“We are in a situation where Australia had a situation like ours a number of years ago, and Australia said, ‘look we’re just losing too many people’ … [and they] went out and bought guns from everybody; now it is extremely difficult to buy a gun in Australia and very few people get killed.”

Symanski then informed the class of “an article in the paper that said literally, and I’m not exaggerating,” that a mass shooting happens in this country “every single day,” on average.

“Who’s the big culprit of this?” he asked in a tone that discouraged hand-raising. “It’s the NRA—the National Rifle Association—which is enormously powerful in this country, in a way that you and I can’t imagine.”

Symanski lamented that the NRA’s central argument—that people, not guns, are responsible for violence—have never made sense to him, because he considers people to be incapable of resisting the universal urge to pull the trigger when firearms are at hand.

“Look,we’re all sort of off the edge at some point, right? We don’t know when we’re going to fly off edge. And what does the issue become? The issue becomes do we have access to a gun or an AK47 or an automatic weapon? If we don’t have access to the damn thing we can’t kill anybody.”

Later, as if sharing a secret with the class, Symanski observed that “theSecond Amendment to the Constitution came into play at the end of the 18th century,” when muzzleloaders were the technological state-of-the-art.

“We had a muzzleloader that took five minutes to load the goddamn thing, and then unless I was this close somebody I couldn’t hit them, it was impossible,” he exclaimed. “We’re not dealing with a muzzleloader that takes five minutes to load; we’re dealing with automatic weapons, that are just bang-bang-bang, and like that you can kill 12, 14 people.”

Van Voorhis told Campus Reform that he was almost surprised that his sole attempt at recording Prof. Symanski was so productive, because while Symanski typically wears his liberalism on his sleeve, the gun control lecture was a rare deviation from topics relevant to the course material, as Symanski tends to focus his ire on opponents to the theory of evolution, which he allegedly denies is a theory.

“The general tone of the course is generally pretty scientific, but it is somewhat in your face,” he said. “You can tell he has, in my opinion, something of a disdain for people who are religious. He mentioned that he grew up Catholic, but doesn’t believe it anymore.”

Van Voorhis told Campus Reform that he has generally gone with the liberal flow in the past, but that he could not resist bringing this particular incident to light because it was so flagrant.

“I’m a very vocal person, but I’ve never spoken out as a conservative in class,” he explained. “I’ve actually just pretended to be liberal, because there’s no point in me sacrificing my GPA and my future just to prove them wrong.”

Prof. Symanski (whose faculty profile bears the Cuban flag as a backdrop even though Van Voorhis attests that he is of self-proclaimed Polish descent) could not be reached for comment at press time, but this article will be updated if and when he responds.
