  1. That’s about what I expect. As has been mentioned before, the LAST Con-Con resulted in a new,not necessarily better,Constitution, and with the long-term corruption now in Government, the risk is many times WORSE. I’m even MORE interested in Nullification as a tool to correct the course of America through eliminating unconstitutional and destructive laws.

  3. I cannot believe there are so many people who have little to no faith and have not read their history. This is not a Constitutional Convention never was and never will be, it is an Amending Convention of the States. It is legal and it is according to the Constitution of which you are not familiar. You are part of the problem and you have no solutions. All your kind want to do is more of the same hopping it will all work out. What you fail to realize is if we do take this action now and stop this encroachment by this over regulating tyrannical administration and Congress that is helping him do this, we will loose the Constitution all of it, for within 5 years it will be gone and you will have no freedoms or liberties.

      Tom,

Sadly you have no clue what you are talking about. A simpleton can read Article V and realize that Congress is the actual authority and that there are no directions for construction, of any such convention or organization nor are there any provisions describing the lawful boundaries of and such convention included in Article V.

Who is in charge? From where do the derive their authority? Who decides that? What are their limitations? Our Founders preached about limited government… What are the limits of an Article V convention? Who determines that? On what authority?

Most important is the larger question - which is … Regardless of what any convention might decide to pass as an “Amendment to the Constitution” How would we compel Congress or the executive and Judicial branches to comply… since they already routinely ignore the Constitution with reckless disregard anyway? Knowing that … what’s the point of going through the anguish of creating more rules that they will simply refuse to follow?

It’s just a ruse to sell books and fleece conservative folks out of their hard earned money. Better we put time and energy into suing the slime bags for their many abuses of power and misuse of public authority. At least then, we could stand a chance.
