  1. Why did he author of this article have to throw in the comment that it makes logical and legal sense for construction to be halted in the ”disputed territory”? Such a statement -made completely out of context and without any related discussion – implies that the issue of settlements and building is an open-&-shut case. Indeed it is not. The settlements have been judged legal by at least one study, largely because the land west of the Jordan River was granted to the Jewish people by the UN in both their charter and the 1922 League of Nations (UN) mandate on the issue. There are far too many writers on the web who swallow lies and don’t check out the facts, one of the biggest is that Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria are illegal due to UN Security Council Resolution 242. No that has nothing to do with the issues in the present dispute. Read about it at http://jcpa.org/Security_Council_Resolution_242/

Someday there will be peace in Israel and Jerusalem will be it’s
Capital. Politicians come and go and what Israel needs at this
time is a strong leader which they have in dealing with the present
threats to it’s survival. I have observed over the years that there
are many disloyal Israeli politicians who are their own worst
enemies. I hope Bibi can end these politically motivated charges
    quickly……………..William
