An imbecilic state senator from Missouri has called for the President’s assassination. We need to call for her arrest…
There is freedom of speech which certainly allows for political disagreement. Advocating for the assassination of the leader of the free world is clearly not protected speech.
On her Facebook page Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D-Mo. State Senate) wrote (since deleted) “I hope Trump is assassinated!”
Considering this looney-tune is a member of a state senate, it makes her statement even more egregious. At the very least, it demonstrates a clear mental incapacity in failing to realize exactly how serious this is. Did she learn nothing from the Kathy Griffin incident?
With it becoming more evident each day that the “tolerant” left is not in the least tolerant and resorts to violence, an example of Ms. Chappelle-Nadal should be made – especially given her position of responsibility to the public. Arrest her – now.
This has become Bizarro-World. Throughout the previous eight years of the Obama Administration – one that basically kept giving its middle finger to middle America, I stridently opposed Obama’s policies – as did millions of us. We watched as his “fundamental transformation” of America amounted to an effort to destroy the nation’s founding principles of individualism and liberty. Never in all of my consistent opposition to Obama did it ever occur to me that I should advocate for his assassination. I also don’t recall any elected Republican official calling for such.
The fact is that whether I liked it or not, Obama was elected as our president.
What Ms. Chappelle-Nadal – and her fellow travelers on the left need to get – is that now Donald Trump is our duly elected president. They’re more than welcome to disagree with him, peacefully protest against him and so forth. But to advocate violence, assassination and other unlawful activity? No, that is most assuredly not protected speech. To use a phrase that the left has been habitually using, “That is not who we are.”
Yes, arrest her and put her derriere in jail where she belongs.
