As I got near the end of this column I got to thinking of the piece by Mike Vanderboegh that I posted earlier,
Valediction of a Three Percenter by Mike Vanderboegh.
We hear daily of the phrase being used by Trump, “Make America Great Again”. Now put that together with what Mike says about to be great it all begins at the LOCAL LEVEL. One man cannot “Make America Great Again” - it takes ALL of us to accomplish that feat. We begin within our own family - then to our neighborhood - to the city - to the County - to the State - and then to the Federal level.
One ‘MAN’ may well be able to inspire - to excite - to energize - to raise awareness - to LEAD - but that ONE MAN cannot do what we must all do together. Eisenhower, MacArthur, Patton, and their fellow military leaders - not FDR or any other president - won any war by them selves. It took all the MEN and women who served WITH them…. it also took the men and women at home who kept the home fires burning - all working TOGETHER to accomplish the goals - To Make America GREAT. If we are to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN then it is going to take the SAME kind of organization. A leader can’t “WIN” if the rest sit on their butts reading emails, texts, Face Book or the other social media.
So, it isn’t TRUMP or anyone else by themselves that will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN - it will take the combined strength and RESOLVE of all Americans to turn back the ENEMY WITHIN and TAKE AMERICA BACK - that is what is needed before it can become GREAT AGAIN. We can’t WIN by shouting someones name (unless that ‘name’ is Jesus) - and we can’t win by carrying protest signs and all the other methods that go on in these political rallies. Granted they stir up emotions but it takes a whole lot more than EMOTIONS to Make America Great Again. It takes HARD WORK and DETERMINATION by each and every one of us. It means running for school board - board members or commissioners of the many local ruling organizations (water, sewer, city,county commissioner). Yes, that takes TIME AND MONEY BUT IS YOUR COUNTRY worth it OR NOT?
It is long past time to stop drinking the COOL AID of self destruction by blindly following those Judas Goats that have been leading us over the cliff.
The FIRST thing many need to do is to become WELL INFORMED as to the kind of GOVERNMENT the Founding Fathers created for us in order to BE GREAT. That premise has been under constant and steady attack since its’ creation. Most folks haven’t a CLUE as to what their real rights and responsibilities are to retain this REPUBLIC. Few even comprehend the definition of NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.
