CZ you are correct to state that pharmaceuticals are found in the drinking water of many water systems. It’s not just that nursing homes etc. have a policy of discarding unused meds down the toilet, but they remain in the urine and do not break down in the sewer. They also cannot be removed by most sewer treatment methods. I wrote an article on this a few years ago. The only sewage treatment that scientists thought might work is the reverse osmosis filter system, which is very expensive and therefore not available to most water systems. I wonder if anyone has ever studied the effects on people from the small amounts ingested from tap water
