To My Christian Brothers And Sisters

“But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.” ~ Ezekiel 33:6 – KJV.

I cannot in good conscience fail to warn my Brothers and Sisters in Christ of the changes taking place in our Bibles. Not only the KJV but in ALL translations. This is easily verified by opening your Bibles and reading along with this video. We are warned of a famine in the latter days….

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:” ~ Amos 8:11- KJV.
It would seem those days are upon us now. Please open your hearts, your memories and your Bibles and watch the following video… FR

  2. The video says NO INTERNET…what’s that about?

  3. May I suggest to all that they purchase the 1901 American Standard Bible (NOT THE NEW AMERICAN STANDARD, THE OLD 1901 EDITION) None of the names or words have been changed, it is perhaps the closest translation there is.

  4. When talking about the prophet Isaiah in the Bible, yes. Esaias and Isaiah are two ways of expressing the same name, and depending on the version of the Bible you’re reading, you’ll find one of these two. The KJV uses “Esaias” instead of Isaiah in the NT as we read in Luke 4:17
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written…
Here’s the Greek word origin (G2268) indicating if’s derived from the original Hebrew:
    Hesaias | hay-sah-ee’-as |
of Hebrew origin (Ysha`yah STRONG_H3470); Hesaias (i.e. Jeshajah), an Israelite:–Esaias.

Actually, my 1987 NIV says wolf will lie down with the lamb, in both Hebrew and English. Numbers 11:12 “Did I conceive all these people? Did I give them birth? Why do you tell me to carry them in my arms, as a nurse carries an infant, to the land you promised on oath to their ancestors?” Isaiah 49 says “foster fathers”, not nursing fathers, in the NIV. Re; Isaiah 36:12 and the 2Kings passage, it is almost the same. This has always been so, and there are other verses in Isaiah taken from Kings and Chronicles. Isaiah, the prophet does this to prove a point, I suppose. The word pisseth in the NIV is “urinating”, which is what the Hebrew says as well. I vaguely remember that the expression “urinating against a wall” is an idiom in Hebrew. Yes, sometimes Hebrew can be crude when translated.
Your comments about corn are true and right. The confusion might arise out of the use of the word “ears” to denote the barley ears, but we these days think of corn. And you’re right – though corn is grown much now in Israel, it wasn’t known during Bible times.
The words used for the figs is bad or evil (same word -rah – in Hebrew, two meanings), so these comments were also correct.
I have to say, the King James has had erroneous translations from the start, adding words that aren’t there in the Hebrew. Myself, I have found that the NIV is more accurate in regard to English translations from the Hebrew and also from the Greek in the New Testament. I recommend the interlinear Bibles that have the original Hebrew and the Greek, though I take the Greek on faith, since I don’t know Greek.
Thank you for inspiring me to do this little Bible study. I do enjoy looking up the words in both Hebrew and English.

  6. Again, I’m going to say that the 1901 American Standard Bible is the finest translation. The KJV is actually far better than the NIV which is corrupted by translators and changed many verses. However, the KJV actually translates in Acts 12:4 “Easter” when it should have been Passover, but if you have a study Bible it tells that in the comments at the bottom of the page.
