Ben Carson-HUD Housing ONLY for American Citizens

by Rev. Austin Miles
ALERT!! Common sense suddenly struck the Beltway which is a rare occurrence indeed. It has taken everyone by surprise. Actually, this is the second time. The first was when Americans voted Donald Trump into the Oval Office. However, more of this commodity is expected to be observed with some real surprises in store. The people have finally awakened.
American resources have been depleted in order to support the millions of illegals who have poured through our borders in Caravans, each consisting of hundreds of people throwing rocks at border patrol agents, as they crash through and climb barriers. The Demoncrats push for these invasions since the intruders will vote for their party.
Once here, by force, they demand and receive, now get this, free housing, food, education, medical, indeed, everything they want. And who pays for this? We the taxpayers who many times work two jobs in order to afford to exist. And these refugees think they are entitled to be taken in by taking us in. This is part of the Communist Mantra.
Dr. Ben Carson who heads the Department of Housing & Urban Development  (HUD) just announced that HUD is kicking out the immigrants who live in that subsidized housing, and that only American Citizens would be allowed to live there. Yes, American Citizens.  That includes veterans whose lives were permanently altered through serving The United States of America and have no place to live except on the streets.
It is difficult to even believe that American Veterans, who gave all to serve this country comes back and are homeless, living on the streets while these intruders waltz right on in and are ushered into housing with all their needs met. Many of these immigrants are Muslims who have made it clear that they intend to occupy this country and put us all under Sharia Law. Look at Sri Lanka where hundreds of Christians were  killed while in their churches on Easter Sunday by Muslims.
However, the newspapers will not call them what they are….Muslims…but instead refer to them as: Radicals, Terrorists, Extremists–anything but Muslims, and they are protected by the so-called ‘news media.’ First of all, it is important to know WHO your enemy is and their actual names. One cannot win a war by not knowing and calling the enemy by name. Could you imagine referring to the Japanese or Germans as “terrorists, radicals or extremists during World War 2?” That would be as ridiculous as not calling Muslims exactly who and what they are….MUSLIMS. Lets get that point straight.
Indeed, here is how the news explained our role in the Easter attacks and the Notre Dame fire which took place on the Holy Day, Good Friday.  Officials urged citizens to resist speculating whether Muslim extremists were to blame for the violence, which mostly took place in or around the capital city of Colombo as well as France. But police had been warned 10 days prior that churches may be targeted by a radical Islamist group, National Thowheeth Jama’ath, according to a security memo obtained by multiple media outlets and posted on Twitter by a government official. And they did NOTHING!  This is nuts!
And these are the Muslims coming into the United States as simply “refugees.” And this is after 9-11!  For God’s Sake People–WAKE UP!! And all these refugees get housing, food, schooling and medical needs met. Yes they immediately get government housing which they get right away, while there are suffering homeless veterans living on the streets.
There should never be one homeless veteran on the streets, especially when those who are not even friends of America can be immediately placed in housing with everything else paid for. Our veterans come first, along with the poor in America. No one else, especially sworn enemies, should be housed, wined and dined when our veterans are in need.
One man hears this….Dr. Ben Carson who now heads HUD. There are long lists for subsidized housing. American citizens are on those long lists.  Meanwhile the vacancies have been filled my mostly illegal “refugees.”  HUD currently estimates that tens of thousands of HUD-assisted households are, now get this, headed by NON-CITIZENS.  Yep illegal immigrants. This must stop and Dr. Ben Carson, Secretary of HUD is doing just that. HUD will now only serve U.S. Citizens.
“Before,” a HUD official stated, “because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime,” the official added. The administration estimates about 32,000 households nationwide benefit from federal housing subsidies despite being headed by illegal immigrants.
Illegal immigrants have previously been able to skirt the restrictions by living with family members who are U.S. citizens and receive subsidized housing through HUD.
HUD intends to roll out a proposal over the next few weeks that prohibits any illegal immigrant from residing in subsidized housing, even if they are not the direct recipient of the benefit. HUD currently estimates that tens of thousands of HUD-assisted households are headed by non-citizens.
Families who are caught gaming the system by allowing illegal immigrants to stay with them either have to comply with the new rule or they will be forced to move out of their residence.
One man has stepped up to correct an outrageous government hand out….Dr. Ben Carson. It is too bad that he was not voted in as President of the United States. He would have officially been our first black president. Obama was NOT an official black president. He was half white. Furthermore, Obama was not even a citizen and was born and raised in Kenya. This writer knows this for fact since investigating this by going on the Kenyan newspaper archives and files, where his real birth certificate was observed. George Soros paid a lot of money to keep everything about this imposter secret.
Perhaps we can think of Dr. Ben Carson as a future president after President Trump’s term expires. Then we could have an authentic first black president.

Latest Property Rights Outrage: HUD’s AFFH Rule

Latest Property Rights Outrage: HUD's AFFH Rule

Many have already heard of Agenda 21, the world planners’ agenda for taking control of mankind during the 21st century.

The summarized goal of this United Nations-concocted scheme appears at the beginning of its 1,100 pages. It is there that environmental attorney Daniel Sitarz, who edited this enormous guide for bringing about the regimentation of mankind, boldly admits that it “proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by every person on Earth.” To make even clearer the totalitarian goals of Agenda 21, he wrote that the document “calls for specific changes in the activities of all people.” That’s scary enough, but those who mean to establish the UN’s rule over everyone don’t seem satisfied with having all of the 21st century to accomplish their totalitarian goals.

Deciding that the overall goals included in Agenda 21 could use some boosting, they have produced a newer plan entitled Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, also known simply as Agenda 2030. It aims to accomplish numerous steps in the area known as “sustainable development.”

In the Preamble to the Agenda 2030 plan, one learns that this new document has 17 “Sustainable Development Goals” and 169 “targets.” These include ending poverty and hunger, ensuring good health, guaranteeing education and energy for all, building resilient infrastructure, combating climate change, and more. In order to accomplish all of this, the United Nations must be strengthened into an all-powerful world ruler. No one should discount the UN’s role in all of this.

So, the globalists continue to produce newer, more totalitarian steps to establish their ultimate takeover of everyone and everything. One of their latest creations is the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule (AFFH). Announced last July by Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Julian Castro (no relation to Fidel and Raul except that they have similar goals), the 377-page AFFH rule is a significant attack on private property, especially on home ownership. It’s designed to relocate people from rural America and force them into cities, some of which would have to be built. Once the people are gathered into such structures, all the inhabitants can be carefully watched and craftily controlled. Creating this type of totalitarianism is already under way in China, where huge apartment complexes have been erected to house people who are being forced away from their farms and villages into high-rise buildings and a new, wholly different and unwelcome lifestyle.

A major element of the AFFH scheme is its focus on the racial and ethnic makeup of neighborhoods. Local government authority will virtually cease to exist if the new federal AFFH rules replace local control of zoning, education, transportation and more. AFFH requires any local government receiving HUD funding to report the makeup of housing by race and ethnicity. Further requirements include a listing of schools, parks, transportation availability, employment trends, etc. The project is all encompassing.

Congressman Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) saw what AFFH rules would lead to. He introduced a measure designed to ban HUD’s funding for AFFH. It won passage in the House by a vote of 229 to 193. A companion Senate bill (S. 1909, the Local Zoning Decisions Protection Act) has been introduced by Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah). Six Republicans have cosponsored this measure: Alabama’s Jeff Sessions, Louisiana’s David Vitter, Wyoming’s Mike Enzi, Florida’s Marco Rubio, Arkansas’ Tom Cotton, and Montana’s Steve Daines. Obviously, more cosponsors are needed.

Standing in the way of efforts to block implementation of the AFFH rules are none other than House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. A recent attempt to cut funding for AFFH in HUD’s budget failed when these two congressional leaders arranged to delete such action from the huge omnibus spending bill rammed through Congress last December. Instead of reducing HUD’s budget and killing funding for the AFFH, the HUD appropriation was increased. Expectations that much-needed change would follow when Paul Ryan succeeded John Boehner are totally unrealistic.

In summary, AFFH calls for destroying private property ownership, forcing people out of their homes, redistributing wealth, terminating local community control, and more. What to do about it? Right now, contacting senators is recommended.

In past years, action requests have always centered on sending letters to legislators. That procedure has been overcome by the greater effectiveness of telephone calls and the greater speed of emails.

Please phone your senators at 202-224-3121 and urge them to cosponsor and help pass S. 1909, a bill designed to ban HUD’s funding for it AFFH rule.

Please email your senators with the same message.

Obama wants to reengineer your neighborhood

My comments: For those folks who understand UN Agenda 21, this is just another piece of the rotten filthy pie.
Julian Castro addresses the 2012 Democratic Convention at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte.  (Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post)
This is what you get when you put a community organizer in the White House — he tries to reorganize your community from Washington.
Apparently, President Obama thinks your neighborhood may not be inclusive enough, so he has instructed his Department of Housing and Urban Development to issue a new rule called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, which is designed to force communities to diversify.
According to the Obama administration, in too many neighborhoods “housing choices continue to be constrained through housing discrimination, the operation of housing markets, [and] investment choices by holders of capital.” (Yes, that is a quote from an actual HUD document, not a bad undergraduate thesis on Karl Marx.)
Under Obama’s proposed rule, the federal government will collect massive amounts of data on the racial, ethnic and socioeconomic makeup of thousands of local communities, looking for signs of “disparities by race, color, religion, sex, familial status, national origin, or disability in access to community assets.” Then the government will target communities with results it doesn’t like and use billions of dollars in federal grant money to bribe or blackmail them into changing their zoning and housing policies.
This is not about blocking housing discrimination, which has been illegal since 1968. It is unlawful for someone to deny you a loan or prevent you from buying a home because of your race, creed or color. Socioeconomic status is — and ought to be — another matter. If you want to buy a nice house in the suburbs, you have to be able to afford it. Apparently, Obama thinks that’s unfair discrimination by the “holders of capital.”
Putting decisions about how local communities are run in the hands of federal bureaucrats is an assault on freedom. Local autonomy is essential to liberty. As Milton Friedman put it in “Capitalism and Freedom,” “If I don’t like what my local community does, be it in sewage disposal, zoning or schools, I can move to another local community. . . . If I don’t like what my state does, I can move to another. If I do not like what Washington imposes, I have few alternatives in this world of jealous nations.” Washington has no business imposing decisions about zoning and housing policies on thousands of local communities.
The proposed rule could become an issue in the presidential race. HUD Secretary Julian Castro, the man assigned to implement this new policy, is on everyone’s shortlist to be Hillary Clinton’s running mate. Moreover, as National Review’s Stanley Kurtz points out, collecting all the data will take time — which means decisions about how to use that data will be up to the next president, whoever that turns out to be.
Local communities across the United States will be up in arms over this rule — and rightly so. The federal government should have no say over whether your neighborhood is too Jewish, or too Caucasian, or has too many married couples. But Republicans need to be very careful. Democrats want the GOP to rail against this rule and see it as an opportunity to paint the Republicans as the party that wants to protect the wealthy, white suburbs and keep out poor people of color.
Conservatives need to make this absolutely clear: We believe Americans of all races, colors and creeds should be free to live wherever they want. And we want to help them do so by unleashing economic opportunity for those at the bottom so that more Americans can get better educations and better jobs and ultimately move to better neighborhoods.
Under Obama, those opportunities have been disappearing for Americans at the bottom of our economy. While he talks a good game about inequality, the poor have gotten poorer while the rich have gotten richer on Obama’s watch. During the Obama recovery, Americans in the top 5 percent of households (those with average incomes of more than $320,000) were the only group in the United States to see incomes rise from 2009 to 2013. Meanwhile, those worst hit were in the bottom 20 percent, who saw their real incomes fall by 7 percent on average. As American Enterprise Institute President Arthur C. Brooks explains , “Our putatively progressive president has inadvertently executed a plutocratic tour de force.”
Having Washington micromanage the housing and zoning policies of thousands of local communities is not going to change this. The answer is not to force local governments to build affordable housing in affluent communities. The answer is to restore upward mobility in the United States so that more people can afford housing in affluent communities.

After Seattle Raised Minimum Wage to $15 – Nonprofit employer: Workers requested reduced hours to stay in subsidized housing

By Natasha Chen for KIROTV

SEATTLE, Wash. —

Nonprofit employer: Workers requested reduced hours to stay in subsidized housing photo
Five people who work at this home for Alzheimer’s patients asked for reduced hours last week, fearing they may no longer be eligible for public assistance.

Seattle workers demand a minimum wage increase. photo
Seattle residents march for a cause: They want to raise the minimum wage in the city to fifteen dollars an hour.

A Seattle-area nonprofit observed some workers recently asking for reduced hours, as they feared that their higher wages now put them at risk of losing housing subsidies.

Nora Gibson is the executive director of Full Life Care, a nonprofit that serves elderly people in various homes and nursing facilities. She is also on the board of the Seattle Housing Authority.

Gibson told KIRO 7 she saw a sudden reaction from workers when Seattle’s phased minimum-wage ordinance took effect in April, bringing minimum wage to $11 an hour. She said anecdotally, some people feared they would lose their subsidized units but still not be able to afford market-rate rents.

For example, she said last week, five employees at one of her organization’s 24-hour care facilities for Alzheimer’s patients asked to reduce their hours in order to remain eligible for subsidies. They now earn at least $13 an hour, after they increased wages at all levels in April, Gibson said.

“This has nothing to do with people’s willingness to work, or how hard people work. It has to do with being caught in a very complex situation where they have to balance everything they can pull together to pull together a stable, successful life,” Gibson said.
Gibson said she fully supports a minimum wage increase but was not surprised when her employees asked for fewer hours.

“The jump from subsidized housing to market rate in Seattle is huge,” she said.

Seattle Housing Authority told KIRO 7: “It’s important that the continuum of affordable housing options in our city and region allows for progression as people’s incomes increase. That needs to be addressed across the housing market so that people don’t feel they are in jeopardy of stable housing as they are able to earn enough to pay more of their housing costs.”

The amount of public assistance one receives depends on the income and size of the family. The scale is determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the qualifications are based on area median income.

Justine Decker, who is a full-time student at Seattle Central College, said she works part-time so she can still get subsidies for rent and child care.

“A one-bedroom can cost upward of $1,200. And so imagine paying that, and paying child care which can be $900 something dollars,” Decker said.

She said she doesn’t want to work full time, or she wouldn’t be able to afford market-rate rents. Decker said she’s in school to become a teacher and hopes to eventually become a principal, to make well over minimum wage levels to be able to pay for everything on her own.

Mohamed Muktar drives an Uber and also receives public assistance for housing. He said he would love to work more hours.

“If you can get more hours, I think you need to work more hours, so you can take care of your bills,” Muktar said.

Seattle Councilmember Nick Licata said he hadn’t heard of purposeful reduction of hours before.

“We need more information, for one thing. This is anecdotal,” Licata said.

Still, he said people need more options, especially after breaking the threshold that pushes them out of public housing.

“We do not want this to be an improvement on one side of the scale, and then decrease in living conditions on another,” Licata said. “We should not be using this as an excuse not to address the overall problem.”

“We live now in an era where normal values have been displaced. The good is called bad, the bad – good.” – Anna Politkovskaya.

“What we may be witnessing is not just the end of the Cold War, or the passing of a particular period of post-war history, but the end of history as such: that is, the end point of mankind’s ideological evolution and the universalization of Western liberal democracy as the final form of human government.” Francis Fukuyama, The End of History?

Using federal grant money to fund and expand the tentacles of Sustainable Development has a number of ugly realities. First, and easiest to understand, is that this is a money redistribution scheme that helps bankrupt both the federal government and the middle class. The money wasn’t allocated specifically by Congress to fund grants that come from HUD, EPA, DOT, DOE (and maybe other sources as well).

Second, the projects into which this money goes do very little to improve the infrastructure, to help stimulate the local economy or to benefit those it is ostensibly designed to help. I say ‘ostensibly’ because that is what those handing it out and those spending it say it is for, but it is truly a wealth redistribution plan as noted in first paragraph.

Let’s look at just one of the grant sources, the Community Development Block Grants:

As noted by the Cato Institute, CDBG activities are supposed to meet one of three objectives: (1) benefit low- and moderate-income persons, (2) prevent or eliminate slums or blight, or (3) address a serious need or threat that has particular urgency.9 A huge range of activities meet these criteria, including:

While CDBG funds are initially handed out to state and local governments, the ultimate beneficiaries are usually private businesses and organizations working on particular projects, such as shopping malls, parking lots, museums, colleges, theaters, swimming pools, and auditoriums. Here is a small sampling of projects funded in 2008.

These ‘plans,’ supposedly put together by the local metropolitan planning commission along with the city or county council are just like every other plan in every other community in the world. Yes, the world, not just the U.S. Can anyone say that Kalispell, Montana, San Francisco, California, Knoxville, Tennessee, Lhasa, Tibet and Saigon, Viet Nam are so alike that it is only natural that their General Plans for the next 10 or 20 or 50 years all look the same?

Moreover, these plans are building non-elected boards and regional councils made up of ‘stakeholders’ (private political organizations – NGOs affiliated with the UN – that are not local, but travel the nation, imposing Sustainable community plans, and thereby feeding off the grant money). Also cashing in are major corporations and business owners who are looking to cash in through Public Private Partnerships,

Look at just one local community’s take from the federal government and stop and think about how much control the feds take for their largess with your money. Then multiply that by every city and county in the country:

The Consolidated Plan establishes the basis and strategy for the use of federal funds granted to the City of Knoxville by the U. S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the following programs:

In addition to CDBG, HOME and ESG programs, the City received stimulus funds in 2009 and is implementing Neighborhood Stabilization Program-1 (NSP-1), Community Development Block Grant – Recoverfy (CDBG-R), and

Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing (HPRP) programs. The projects funded with these funds will continue until they are completed and all funds are expended.
