PRESIDENT TRUMP, HERITAGE FOUNDATION IS CONTROLLED OPPOSITION

NewsWithViews.com

Don’t fear the enemy who attacks you, but the fake friend who hugs you.

The government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves. —Thomas Jefferson

In my last article, I documented Heritage Foundation’s drafting and promotion of job destroying NAFTA, but Heritage is also responsible for many other ills that American citizens face today, including healthcare and education.

Who Funds Heritage

Heritage is not required to disclose its donors, but according to a Media Transparency report in 2006, donors have included the John M. Olin Foundation, the Castle Rock Foundation, the Richard and Helen DeVos Foundation (founders of Amway and father-in-law to newly appointed Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos), Bradley Foundation (board members include Federal Reserve and CFR members), the Koch Brothers and Claude Lambe Foundation, and Richard Mellon Scaife, who gave over $30 million to Heritage.

Scaife supported abortion, and paid for a full-page ad in the WSJ in 2011, “From the Desk of Richard M. Scaife – An Open Letter to Fellow Conservatives: Why Conservatives Should Oppose Efforts to Defund Planned Parenthood.” His mother was a good friend of Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, and had her in for tea every Sunday afternoon.

The list of President Trump’s Supreme Court justices was culled with the aid of the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society. Only two justices on the list are truly pro-life. There are now 70 signees on the Coalition Letter on the Pledge for a Pro-Life Nomination for Justice Scalia’s Seat on the Supreme Court.

Over the past 25 years, Heritage has also been funded by private foundations such as Pew Charitable Trust which also funded many GOALS 2000 initiatives. Bill Clinton signed the Goals 2000 law on March 31, 1994, creating new education bureaucracies and facilitating federal control of local education institutions. William Greider’s bestseller, Who Will Tell the People: The Betrayal of American Democracy reveals other benefactors: “Heritage received grants from Amoco, General Motors, Chase Manhattan Bank (David Rockefeller) and right-wing foundations like Olin and Bradley.”

Heritage and National Healthcare

As John Adams said, “Facts are stubborn things.” Heritage has promoted much that is anathema to our Constitution. Let’s look at the facts.

Assuring Affordable Health Care for All Americans is the Heritage Foundation plan, written by Republicans and endorsed by the so-called conservative right. You will notice that Stuart M. Butler wrote this Heritage monograph. Butler is a Brit who is a senior fellow at the liberal Brookings Institute, the same Institute that is promoting the privatization of education. Please pay particular attention to Item #2 on page 6 of this document wherein it states, “Mandate all households to obtain adequate insurance.”

James Taranto, who writes the Wall Street Journal’s “Best of the Web” column, put forth a lengthy and informative discussion on the conservative origins of the individual mandate, whose inclusion in Obamacare is today its most controversial feature on the Right.

Taranto writes that he was there when the Heritage Foundation was promoting the mandate:

Heritage did put forward the idea of an individual mandate, though it predated Hillary Care by several years. We know this because we were there: In 1988-90, we were employed at Heritage as a public relations associate (a junior writer and editor), and we wrote at least one press release for a publication touting Heritage’s plan for comprehensive legislation to provide universal “quality, affordable health care.”

As a junior publicist, we weren’t being paid for our personal opinions. But we are now, so you will be the first to know that when we worked at Heritage, we hated the Heritage plan, especially the individual mandate. “Universal health care” was neither already established nor inevitable, and we thought the foundation had made a serious philosophical and strategic error in accepting rather than disputing the left-liberal notion that the provision of “quality, affordable health care” to everyone was a proper role of government. As to the mandate, we remember reading about it and thinking: “I thought we were supposed to be for freedom.”

The plan was introduced in a 1989 book, “A National Health System for America” by Stuart Butler and Heritage Senior Researcher, Edmund Haislmaier. We seem to have mislaid our copy, and we couldn’t find it online, but we did track down a 1990 Backgrounder and a 1991 lecture by Butler that outlined the plan. One of its two major planks, the equalization of tax treatment for individually purchased and employer-provided health insurance, seemed sensible and unobjectionable, at least in principle.

But the other was the mandate, described as a “Health Care Social Contract” and fleshed out in the lecture. [Link]

Now, Stuart Butler claims we shouldn’t blame Heritage for the Obamacare mandate. He links to the Amicus brief filed in the 11th circuit court of appeals, dated May 11, 2011. If you read the Amicus brief, notice Edwin Meese’s name as well as Randy Barnett, of Georgetown University who has long been promoting a Constitutional Convention with Michael Patrick Leahy of Tennessee.

I find it interesting that the Affordable Health Care Act was signed into law by Barack Hussein Obama on March 23, 2010, but Heritage Foundation didn’t file their Amicus brief until over a year later. Ahem!

Heritage’s Mandate for Leadership

In 1980, Heritage published their Mandate for Leadership to guide the incoming Reagan Administration and its transition team. Working the high-level inside track on these personnel hiring’s was Reagan’s “Kitchen Cabinet,” of which Council for National Policy member, Joe Coors, was probably the best-known member.

A Reagan loyalist since the 1968 GOP convention, Coors began spending a lot of time in Washington, D.C. and at the White House. The attempt at governance by the Kitchen Cabinet became so elaborate that they actually established an office in the Executive Office Building across from the White House.

Embarrassed by the image of a covey of millionaires seeming to run parallel and sometimes conflicting personnel recruitment operations, senior White House staff produced legal opinions saying that it was illegal for a private group to occupy government property, in this case a White House office.

Although Coors produced a legal opinion arguing there was no violation of law, Coors and friends were evicted. Heritage could hardly claim diminished relations with the Reagan Administration, however, as an estimated two-thirds of its Mandate recommendations were adopted in the first year of the Administration.

Further, Heritage was using a letter of endorsement from White House Chief of Staff, Ed Meese, CNP charter member, in a December 1981 fundraising effort. In his letter of endorsement, Meese promised Heritage’s president, Edwin Feulner, that “this Administration will cooperate fully with your efforts.” The newly elected Ronald Reagan passed out copies of the Mandate at his first Cabinet meeting, and it quickly became his administration’s blueprint. By the end of Reagan’s first year in office, 60 percent of the Mandate’s 2,000 ideas were being implemented. After leaving the Reagan Administration, Meese joined the staff of the Heritage Foundation and is still there today.

Meese and his cronies were also involved in the theft of the Inslaw/Promis software that enabled the Justice Department to track criminal prosecutions. [Link] Meese had his intelligence buddies put a trap door in the software so the Bushes could monitor everyone. The Justice Department started sharing the illegally obtained PROMIS software with other agencies, including agencies where PROMIS was modified for intelligence purposes and sold to foreign intelligence operations in Israel, Jordan, and other places. Michael Risconsciuto of the Wackenhut security firm (former FBI and CIA) had testified that he was contracted to install a “trap door” in the software to allow the CIA to tap into PROMIS software worldwide. It appears that the original petty crimes of the Justice Department led to the exposure of a sensitive national security operation. [Link]

It also monitors all of us, and today there’s an even greater software program out there…but that’s another story.

Edwin J. Feulner, formerly the president of Heritage Foundation, had a yearly income including deferred compensation of $1,098,612. Former Attorney General, Edwin Meese, takes home half a million a year from Heritage. This is where your $25 monthly donations go…to enrich the lives of these top dogs. Feulner is also a charter member of the Council for National Policy (CNP).

The Rockefeller/Heritage Connection

Education researcher Chey Simonton states in her article on the Rockefeller/Heritage Connection,

“The top men of the Heritage Foundation, first Weyrich, then Ed Feulner, and now Jim DeMint, with the trust and cooperation of masses of sincerely committed conservatives, have been in a position to further elitist Rockefeller goals. (These are the Rockefeller Republicans Phyllis Schlafly called the Kingmakers, in her book, “A Choice Not an Echo.”) Along with radical World Government advocate, Walter Hoffman of the World Federalist Association, they participated on the 16 member U.S. Commission on Improving the Effectiveness of the United Nations. Working with the US Information Agency, Feulner also participated in facilitating the infamous 1985 US-Soviet Education Technology and Cultural Exchange Agreement. Soviet pedagogy, based on behavioral conditioning for a compliant collective labor force, is a dream come true for the dozens of multinational corporations funding all the think tanks promoting American education reform. The humanist Carnegie Foundation, a century-long collaborator with Rockefeller philanthropy, facilitated the Soviet side of this Exchange Agreement.”

Remember, in 1934, the Carnegie Corporation called for a shift from free enterprise to collectivism. They wanted the Soviet planned economy. [Link]

Thus, Heritage’s communist connections, were established rapidly after the historic meeting between Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev at the Geneva Summit.

Feulner was appointed by Reagan as chairman of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy. The commission was responsible for expediting a signed Soviet-American Educational Exchange Agreement. The National American Legion was one of hundreds of conservative groups refusing to do anything about the US/Soviet Education Agreements.

In 1995, education researcher, Charlotte Iserbyt, identified conservative “Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing,” who not only gave the Soviets access to American education, but whose act of treason “virtually merged the two educational systems.”Leading the pack for an educational exchange initiative was none other than:

“Edwin Feulner, former President of Heritage Foundation, who strongly supported the U.S.-Soviet education agreements, and who had an office in Moscow, supported Soviet-style magnet schools (i.e., tax supported choice/charter schools), and had state affiliate organizations across the nation writing charter school legislation that reads like it has been written by the U.S. Department of Education, the Carnegie Corporation and the National Education Association.”

“Paul Weyrich’s constitutional-convention promoting American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) gave an award to Oregon’s Department of Education for its education reform, especially the work force training component and its certificate of initial mastery (CIM) necessary to get a job. Same old Common Core folks! See the June, 2011, WSJ article, “Industry Puts Heat on Schools to Teach Skills Employees Need.”

We must remember, the 1955 UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) book, MENTAL HEALTH IN EDUCATION, is the earliest reference to the need for “choice” in education. The Charter Schools concept, strongly marketed around the country by Heritage affiliates, with the help of many CNP members in every state, attempts to link patriotic free enterprise themes to a blatantly unconstitutional system of corporate fascism to business/government partnerships in the education of our children.

At the same time, note that Heritage founder, Paul Weyrich, once served as advisor to former Russian President, Boris Yeltsin of Chechnyan genocide fame. He wrote about it in an article in the Heritage affiliate, Townhall Magazine. In 1987, Weyrich also wrote an article in The Washington Post, A Conservative’s Lament, which virtually recommended a new Constitution and parliamentary form of government for the U.S.

Both Feulner and Weyrich were also involved with other powerful players and shadowy figures, some from the right and some from the left. They have been included in groups formed to reinvent the UN, supposedly to face the 21st century. It is becoming more and more evident that Weyrich and Feulner were in fact organizing a tight group that represented the merger of right and left, which we have seen over the past 65 years, and which was quite obvious in our recent election.

HERITAGE FOUNDATION DRAFTED NAFTA, PRESIDENT TRUMP CAN SCRAP IT

NewsWithViews.com

In 1992, President Bill Clinton promised that NAFTA would result in an increase in the number of high quality jobs for Americans, that it would reduce illegal immigration. Ross Perot warned that just the opposite would happen. He warned that if NAFTA was implemented there would be a “giant sucking sound” as thousands of businesses and millions of jobs would leave this country. Most Americans chose to believe Bill Clinton. Well, it is 24 years later and it turns out that Perot was right and Clinton was dead wrong.

United Technologies (Carrier) is staying in Indiana, all because Mr. Trump made it beneficial for them to stay! He used the direct approach and went right to the head of Carrier and asked what they needed to remain in America.

Our newly elected president has stated time and again that NAFTA was the cause for American jobs being decimated. The North American Free Trade Agreement has done far more than destroy over 30% of our manufacturing. Our economy (jobs), our healthcare, and academic education have all suffered. William F. Jasper, summarized what NAFTA was really about: “The planet is quietly being divided up into regional blocs ruled by an unelected and unaccountable cabal.”

NAFTA is seen by globalists here as a step toward a North American Union (NAU). Robert Pastor, professor of international relations at American University, and a strong supporter of NAFTA’s ultimate goals, wrote in Foreign Affairs, the magazine of the globalist CFR, “NAFTA was merely the first draft of an economic Constitution for North America.”

Big Business, Big Finance, Big Media, ex-presidents, and former secretaries of state all supported the deal. Murray Rothbard was right when he said, “The fight was about foreign policy, about the globalist policy that the United States has been pursuing since Woodrow Wilson, and certainly since World War II. It was about the Establishment-Keynesian dream of a New World Order. NAFTA was a vital step down the road to that order.”

Our President-elect has promised to do something about it, and the best thing he could do is to scrap NAFTA in its entirety! Chapter 22 of NAFTA permits each chief executive of the three members of NAFTA (the United States, Canada, and Mexico) to exit the deal, simply by giving six months’ written notice. Trump should do it the very first day in office!

Scott Miller of the Center for Strategic and International Studies admitted that Trump has the power to take the United States out of NAFTA, on his own, without any approval by Congress: “Congress has delegated authority [on trade] to the president over the last 100 years.”

Let’s hope Trump has the courage and fortitude to save us from this horrid trade deal!

Who started these trade deals anyway?

Heritage Foundation and NAFTA

The 1993 Annual Report of the Heritage Foundation of Washington, D.C., dedicated to their twentieth-year celebration, stated the following:

The idea of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) originated with Heritage Fellow Richard Allen and has long been advocated by Heritage policy analysts…. The idea of creating a North American free trade zone was first proposed by Heritage Distinguished Fellow Richard Allen in the late 1970s, refined by then Presidential candidate Ronald Reagan, and further developed in a major 1986 Heritage Foundation study.

Please note that Richard V. Allen is a member of both the rightwing Council for National Policy, and the globalist Council on Foreign Relations.

Former Heritage President, Ed Fuelner

In Lee Edwards’ 2013 book, Leading the Way: The Story of Ed Feulner and the Heritage Foundation, on page 233 Edwards states,

“Heritage played a crucial role in the debate on NAFTA, signed by President George H.W. Bush, Mexican president Carlos Salinas de Gortari, and Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney on December 17, 1992. Consistent with its belief in free trade and with Ed Feulner personally involved, the foundation supported NAFTA from beginning to end; Heritage’s support came naturally inasmuch as the idea of such an agreement had first been broached by Richard Allen, Ed Feulner’s long-time colleague, before Reagan was elected president. Ed Feulner invariably describes the passage of NAFTA as one of Heritage’s most important ‘scalps’ or victories.”

“One of Heritage’s most influential papers was a state-by-state survey compiled by analyst Doug Seay. The survey showed that forty-two governors, Democrat and Republican, liberal and conservative, strongly favored the agreement because it would create thousands of new jobs and improve the economy of their states.”

They were wrong, and they knew it.

Jobs, Living Standards, and the Economy

NAFTA was the door through which American workers were shoved into the neoliberal globalist labor market.

By establishing the principle that U.S. corporations could relocate production elsewhere and sell back into the United States, NAFTA undercut the bargaining power of American workers, which had driven the expansion of the middle class since the end of World War II. The result has been 20 years of stagnant wages and the upward redistribution of income, wealth and political power.

Despite the pro-Trade rhetoric of Heritage and our politicians, the central goal of NAFTA was not “expanding trade.” After all, the U.S., Mexico, and Canada had been trading goods and services with each other for centuries. NAFTA’s central purpose was to free American corporations from U.S. laws protecting workers and the environment. Moreover, it paved the way for the rest of the neoliberal agenda in the US—the privatization of public services, the regulation of finance, and the destruction of the independent trade union movement.

The inevitable result was to undercut workers’ living standards all across North America. First, it caused the loss of some 700,000 jobs as production moved to Mexico.

Second, NAFTA strengthened the ability of U.S. employers to force workers to accept lower wages and benefits.

Third, the destructive effect of NAFTA on the Mexican agricultural and small business sectors dislocated several million Mexican workers and their families, and was a major cause in the dramatic increase in illegal alien workers flowing into the U.S. labor market. This put further downward pressure on U.S. wages, especially in the already lower paying market for less skilled labor.

Fourth, and ultimately most important, NAFTA was the template for rules of the emerging global economy, in which the benefits would flow to capital and the costs to labor. In other words, the corporations got rich, and the workers got shafted. Thus, NAFTA is both symbol and substance of the global “race to the bottom.”

Talk about the American worker getting royally screwed! I remember listening to talk radio at the time, and Chuck Harder worked endlessly to inform the American people of the imminent dangers of NAFTA.

NAFTA and American Health Care

The dramatic increase in illegal aliens, caused by NAFTA, has put such a strain on hospital emergency rooms on our southern border and in California, that many of them have closed.

The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) is an act passed by Congress in 1986 as part of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA). It requires hospital Emergency Departments that accept payments from Medicare to provide an appropriate medical screening examination to individuals seeking treatment for a medical condition, regardless of citizenship, legal status, or ability to pay. There are no reimbursement provisions. Participating hospitals may not transfer or discharge patients needing emergency treatment except with the informed consent or stabilization of the patient or when their condition requires transfer to a hospital better equipped to administer the treatment.

The good side is that patients with emergency conditions are being taken care of; they must have an evaluation exam, and they have to be stabilized. The negative side is that EMTALA is the largest unfunded mandate [on providers] that the government has ever instituted. Congress, through Medicare, gave $1 billion of our tax dollars to help these Medicare hospitals, but that has now expired.

Who is picking up these costs? Every American taxpayer — not to mention medical facilities and insurance companies who turn around and raise their rates for everyone else. The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the current cost of treating uninsured immigrants who entered this country illegally at all levels of government to be $4.3 billion a year, primarily at emergency rooms and free clinics. This doesn’t take into account the billions being absorbed by in-patient care delivered by hospitals.

In March of 2016, Newsmax claimed there are 61 million illegal aliens in America, and Breitbart mentioned 30 million in August of 2015. Whatever the case, we know that for 20 years the media has said 11-12 million illegals are in America, and it is far more.

NAFTA and American Education

Illegal aliens cost America’s states over $761 million per year in our school systems, and six chapters of NAFTA have a direct impact on the public education system.

Under NAFTA, education in all three countries was to be privatized.
Privatization is the transfer of a government organization to a private entity.

The rise of charters is the prime example, touted by both the left and right. The privatization effect of charters goes much further, both for-profit, and not-for-profit charters conform schools to principles of privately run enterprises. Despite much evidence to the contrary, competition is touted as the high virtue that makes charters superior. Their very ability to exclude is an important factor in the success, for the few charters who actually are successful. Remember that charters are tax funded! Yet, they do not report to local school boards!

Should taxpayer dollars intended for schools be permitted to generate a private profit? I don’t think so!

Educators knew from following the NAFTA negotiations that turning public education into a commodity for sale in the capitalist marketplace was a central component of the agreement. They understood that at stake was not just public education, but the very idea of the “public.”

Part of the dialogue that has come out of NAFTA was from United States Information Agency Director, Joseph Duffey. In a September 12, 1993 Washington Times article, he stated that he expects the North American countries to succeed in achieving a sense of regional community(regionalism is communism) where the quest for a common community of nations in Western Europe has foundered. He’s talking about a North American Union (NAU), just like the European Union.

He went on to say, “We’re trying to reverse the tradition of nationalism and people, who in looking to their identity, look backwards to the past. Instead, we want them to look to the future.” In other words, Americans should no longer think of themselves as Americans whose founders were for freedom, liberty and individuality, but rather as world citizens, or citizens of the NAU.

Chapter 11 of NAFTA establishes the principle that foreign investors should be granted the same facilities as national investors, without any restrictions.
Chapter 12 of NAFTA (cross-border commerce of services). The new NAFTA rules have accelerated the imposition of new evaluation methods in education, developed by private institutions and based on standardized tests. Such tests are an effective means to restrict access to higher education and to assign young people coercively to technological schools that are not their vocational choice.

Key words are “education reform,” “standardized tests,” “state standards,” all of these are part and parcel of the destruction of education via Common Core, which actually started in the 1960s with mastery learning, and which was accelerated with NAFTA.

The Free Trade Agreement got the ball rolling for the development of skills standards by the newly formed National Skills Standards Board. It was endorsed by the U.S. Labor Department Secretary’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills (SCANS) study originated under Labor Secretary Elizabeth Dole. This eventually led to the School-to-Work Opportunities Act and the dumbing down of American education curriculum for global workforce training.

With all of this emphasis on “standards” it should be pointed out that NAFTA allows exchanges of all categories of professionals, with those coming from Mexico and Canada having met their own countries’ standards, not necessarily equal to those required in the United States.

If this process evolves the way most of these exchange processes have in the past, that disparity will be addressed in one of two ways—by changing U.S. standards to match foreign standards, or by altering both NAFTA nations’ standards to align with international standards like ISO 9000 or ISO 1400 monitored by UNESCO. This should be of concern to professional organizations in the United States. See page 315 in The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America to see the impact on education in the US by the signing the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Conclusion

As Murray Rothbard explained at the time NAFTA was passed, “In the first place, genuine free trade doesn’t require a treaty or trade agreement. NAFTA is called a trade agreement so it can avoid the constitutional requirement of approval by two thirds of the Senate. If the establishment truly wants free trade, all it has to do is repeal all our numerous tariffs, import quotas, anti-dumping laws, and other American-imposed restrictions on trade.”

No wonder Trump carried Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio. One way he could now repay those voters who put him in the White House is to cut out the sovereignty-killing cancer called NAFTA, and help restore the American Dream for millions of American workers.

President-elect Trump, you should have dumped NAFTA your very first day in office!

Constitutional Convention Call Redux – Part 3

James Madison himself, father of the Constitution, warned against convening a second constitutional convention. When he learned that New York and Virginia were actively calling for an Article V convention in 1788, just months after ratification of the Constitution, he was horrified. He counseled: “If a General Convention were to take place for the avowed and sole purpose of revising the Constitution, it would naturally consider itself as having a greater latitude than the Congress…. It would consequently give greater agitation to the public mind; an election into it would be courted by the most violent partisans on both sides … [and] would no doubt contain individuals of insidious views, who, under the mask of seeking alterations popular in some parts … might have the dangerous opportunity of sapping the very foundations of the fabric….”

There are numerous organizations promoting a Constitutional Convention under the guise of a Balanced Budget Amendment. Tom DeWeese wrote about the 10 Amendments for Freedom, Inc, chaired by William Fruth, President of POLICOM Corporation. He covered this in his articles, “Powerful Forces Calling for a Constitutional Convention,” and “Constitutional Convention Cannot be Controlled.”

Back in 1995, model resolutions for the Conference of States (COS) came from the National Council of State Legislators (NCSL), the organization that indoctrinates liberal (mostly Democratic) legislators, just as American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) does the conservatives (Republicans). The NCSL is presently backing the internet sales tax, and the rotten E-Verify.

ALEC passed a resolution supporting the COS resolution, and Republicans joined the fray. Thankfully, the 1995 attempt was defeated, again because patriots were alert. (As an aside, the Governor of New Mexico was then Gary Johnson, Libertarian Candidate for President in the 2012 race, and he backed the COS resolution.)

The NCSL (National Conference of State Legislators), NCM (National Conference of Mayors), NGA (National Governors Association) just to name a few – are adjuncts of the Council of State Governments (CSG). The original COS was billed as a plan by Governors Michael Leavitt of Utah and Ben Nelson of Nebraska, but it became clear from a 1987 Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (ACIR) and (CSG) paper that in reality the Governors were merely delivery boys for the scheme led by the Rockefeller founded Council of State Governments. The United States ACIR was terminated in September, 1996, but nearly every state has its own ACIR.

Paul Weyrich’s ALEC, (American Legislative Exchange Council) backed the COS. ALEC boasts nearly 3,000 conservative legislative and corporate members, and has been strongly pushing a Con-Con for decades.

The CSG is a private, international organization funded originally with Rockefeller money through the Spelman Fund (John D. Rockefeller’s wife, Laura Spelman) (see CSG’s Book of the States Volume I – 1935) and currently receives millions of dollars from states’ dues – our tax dollars. As early as 1935, the CSG had already called for gun control and the creation of 10 REGIONS for America. Today, America has 10 Federal Regions from which the federal government controls our money and therefore our states, counties, townships and municipalities. Regionalism is Communism! The money from the block grants coming into the states is fed into the Federal Regional Planning Commissions, HUD, HEW, EPA, Departments of Labor, Commerce, DOE, etc., which in turn doles it out to our local governments in return for their “obedience” in passing whatever laws and ordinances the federal planners dictate (think Agenda 21, Smart Growth). If they do not comply, money is withheld until they do.

Here we are, eighteen years later, and they’re still at it. In this present assault on our Constitution the roles are reversed: ALEC wrote the model resolution; and the NCSL is solidly behind the scheme, as indicated by the letter that was sent to every Governor, Senate President, and House Speaker in this country by Florida Senator Jeff Atwater, from the NCSL. So, let’s take a closer look at ALEC.

American Legislative Exchange Council

The subject of ALEC deserves a three-part article alone, but for the sake of brevity, we’ll just give an overview. ALEC was founded in 1973 by Paul Weyrich, Grand Poobah of the secretive Council for National Policy, founder of Free Congress Foundation, and the Heritage Foundation. ALEC is a corporate bill mill. It’s not just a lobby or front group, ALEC is one of the most powerful unelected councils in the country. [Link]

Corporations hand to state legislators their “wish lists” of legislation to benefit their bottom lines. The membership of ALEC is 98% corporate and the corporate membership is the one that funds almost all of ALEC’s operations. They have bought their way into the process by which corporate lobbyists and special interest reps vote with elected officials to approve “model” bills. ALEC’s legislative leaders are responsible for getting the bills introduced and passed. They introduce and carry the bills in their statehouses as their own brilliant ideas. As an example, the immigration bill, SB1070, was written by ALEC and carried by Russell Pearce, word for word, to Arizona. Private prison corporations had a huge part in ALEC’s crafting of SB1070.

Richard Mellon Scaife has allegedly funded ALEC to the tune of more than 7 million dollars. One must remember that Scaife funds both sides of the aisle and is connected to Rockefeller (Chase Mellon Bank). Scaife also had a full page ad in the WSJ stating why it was so important for taxpayers to fund Planned Parenthood and what they do for American women. The danger in the ALEC organization is that its leadership apparently wants to rewrite our Constitution, and they claim a membership of 2,500 plus of our 7,500 legislators. Members of ALEC even include the Church of Scientology, which has spoken at ALEC meetings.

Sometime in the mid-1990s, the Church of Scientology became one of ALEC’s underwriters, for the apparent purpose of interacting with state lawmakers on mental health-care issues. Here’s an excerpt from a 1998 fundraising letter written by Bruce Wiseman, the president of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights International, (CCHR) a highly controversial anti-psychiatry front-group of the Church of Scientology. Wiseman writes. “ALEC is a national organization made up of legislators from every state as well as some federal legislators who meet and draft model legislation for every state. The return for that has been enormous! CCHR has worked its way up the conditions at ALEC and recently got an article published by ALEC in opposition to mandated mental-health parity, which went to key state legislators who deal with health issues in their respective states. In addition, the ALEC membership has opened the door to meeting numerous legislators and other opinion leaders from around the country.”

Back in 1992, when Ross Perot came on the scene, he was gung-ho for a Con-Con. He stated emphatically that we needed a parliamentary government (same as ALEC’s founder, Paul Weyrich) and bragged that “his people” could get the remaining states needed for a Con-Con “in their sleep.” Thank God, we found out and it was stopped.

The legislators never disclose that corporations wrote and vetted these bills along with fellow politicians behind closed doors at ALEC meetings. So, everyone who is a member of ALEC is influencing not only state bills, but likely most federal bills as well, written by corporations with vested interests…along with lobbyists and state representatives.

ALEC is a long time supporter of a Constitutional Convention. A 43 page handbook, written by Robert G. Natelson, entitled: Proposing Constitutional Amendments by a Convention of the States,” was provided to their mostly-republican members, along with model legislation to carry back to their states. The booklet is full of spins, lies, and misdirection. It claims the states must exercise control as given to them by the founders, that they must move quickly, that state legislatures will have complete control over the process, and will answer to the state legislatures they represent. This is far from the truth. As we discussed and made clear in Part 1 of this article, there is no provision in Article V empowering state legislators to choose the delegates to a Constitutional Convention or to “limit” the scope of a Con-Con. There are no rules, no regulations, and certainly no instructions.

Henry Hazlitt

Henry Hazlitt, American economist, (1894-1993), was the former economic advisor to pro-Constitutional Convention, National Taxpayer’s Union (NTU), headed by James Dale Davidson. Davidson’s NTU was instrumental in promoting a Con-Con in the early 80s and he claimed he gave $100,000 every year to the cause. Hazlitt was a renowned conservative, and he wrote a book which he republished in 1974 called, “A New Constitution Now.” This book makes the argument for replacing America’s presidential system of government with a parliamentary one resembling Great Britain’s. I thought we fought a revolutionary war to escape that form of government!

Hazlitt’s book is extremely dangerous inasmuch as Hazlitt states things like, “an amendment could be proposed that would strike out everything after “We the people,” and that, of course, includes the Bill of Rights. He was suggesting that everything after “We the people” on down be scrapped and rewritten, which is amazing, as this document has provided more human dignity and freedom for more people than any other in recorded history.

Other suggested improvements by Hazlitt include making it easier to amend our Constitution by adopting the Swiss and Australian procedure. Another would be to restrict Presidents to a single term. A third would be to abolish the office of Vice President. A fourth would reconstitute the Supreme Court, with each governor appointing a justice with the approval of his state legislature. (Think about that with these neo-conservative Trotskyite governors we have on the right, like Tennessee’s Haslam, and the full-blown communists on the left, like New York’s Cuomo.) The neo-conservative Trotskyite rightwing loved Hazlitt and still quote him.

In the final part of this series, we’ll discuss Rexford Guy Tugwell, and the Newstates Constitution. Tugwell was a man far ahead of his time. He deplored private property rights, declared our 1787 Constitution to be outmoded and archaic, and would have loved United Nations Agenda 21/Smart Growth/Sustainability.

In fact, in 1938 Tugwell was appointed as the first director of the New York City Planning Commission. New York’s reformist mayor, Fiorello LaGuardia, created the commission as part of a city charter reform aimed at reducing corruption and inefficiency. The Planning Commission had relatively limited powers – all actions needed approval from the legislative Board of Estimate. Rexford Tugwell tried to assert the commission’s power. He tried to retroactively enforce nonconforming land uses, despite a lack of public or legal support. His commission sought to establish public housing at moderate densities, yet repeatedly approved FHA requests for greater density. Robert Moses killed Tugwell’s proposed fifty-year master plan with a fiery public denouncement of its open space protections. [Link]

Tugwell’s book, The Emerging Constitution,” makes it clear where he stood. He states on page 593, “The other considerable change (to the Constitution) is the consolidation of states into fewer, and it is hoped, more effective regional groupings, thus at last organizing as one system rather than a confused fifty.”

Also on page 593 is this statement about the proposed Newstates constitution, “It will be noticed that the general emphasis on the protection of individuals from the exercise of governmental powers has been supplemented with a list of responsibilities.”

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 23

“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18

Mark Reed Levin

levin

Mark Levin was born September 21, 1957, is an American lawyer, author, and the host of a syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Show. Mark is a long time member of the CNP according to a 1998 membership list. He has also been a speaker at the Council for National Policy for one Becky Norton Dunlop, Vice President for External Relations for Heritage Foundation, which is another story in itself.

Levin is President of Landmark Legal Foundation . He is also a Board member of The Patrick Henry Center for Individual Liberty, whose founder is fellow CNP member, Gary Aldrich. His fellow board member is, none other than, fellow CNP member, Edwin Meese III who holds the Reagan Chair in Public Policy at The Heritage Foundation. Other board members, (now deceased) include, CNP members, Paul Weyrich of Heritage Foundation, Free Congress Foundation, and ALEC; Reed Irvine of Accuracy in Media, now headed by Cliff Kincaid; and Howard Phillips of The Conservative Caucus and The Constitution Party.

Living board members include CNP members, Mr. Peter T. Flaherty, President, National Legal and Policy Center, Alan P. Dye, Esq.(legal counsel for American Legislative Exchange Council); Lt. Col. Oliver North; Ronald E. Robinson, Esq, President, Young America’s Foundation; Rep. Louis (Woody) Jenkins Chairman, WBTR-TV Channel 19; Alan Sears, (Staff Director of the Meese Commission) Esq., President and CEO, Alliance Defense Fund; Beverly LaHaye, Concerned Women of America.

In a biographical note on the website of the Young America’s Foundation, Levin “served previously in the Reagan Administration, including chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese, Associate Deputy Attorney General of the United States, and Deputy Solicitor at the U.S. Department of the Interior. He represented Mr. Meese during the Iran-Contra (Ollie North) investigation and was a leading advocate for the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.” He is an MSNBC legal analyst, a contributing editor of CFR, CIA, and Skull and Bonesman, William F. Buckley’s National Review, and a frequent contributor to Human Events and the Moon owned Washington Times.

He is also a strong proponent of a Constitutional Convention, and wrote his book, The Liberty Amendments proposing a con-con. Sadly, he won’t listen to the many arguments against one. Levin states that he wants to foster a national debate about corrective actions. In fact, when listeners call into his radio show to present arguments against an Article V Convention, or a Balanced Budget Amendment, or a Convention of States, they are disconnected, their names put on a list, and they are not allowed to call in again. Like the rest of the pro-Constitutional Convention gang, Levin refuses to hear any arguments against it, to debate anyone who can present the dangers of another Convention, and like the rest of them, will use Saul Alinsky’s tactics of destroying the messenger, because they obviously cannot win on the merits of their own arguments. See, Mark Levin Refuted and Mark Levin’s “Liberty” Amendments: Legalizing Tyranny.

Alan Keyes

keyes

Alan Keyes was/is a member of the Council for National Policy (CNP Membership Directory) in 1996, 1998, and 1999. He was also a former U.S. representative to the United Nations. Though Keyes is sometimes referred to as “Ambassador Keyes,” the title is misleading since he only served as the U.S. ambassador to the UN Economic and Social Council, not as ambassador to the UN or as an ambassador to a country.

A year before completing his doctoral studies, Keyes joined the United States Department of State as a protégé of Jeane Kirkpatrick (CFR, TC, former member of The Young Peoples Socialist League). In 1979, he was assigned to the consulate in Mumbai, India. The following year, Keyes was sent to serve at the embassy in Zimbabwe.

In 1983, President Ronald Reagan appointed Keyes as Ambassador to the United Nations Economic and Social Council. In 1985, he was appointed Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations, a position he held until 1987. Kirkpatrick was Keyes’ boss at the UN. Link

His stay at the UN provoked some controversy, leading Newsday to say “he has propounded the more unpopular aspects of US policy with all the diplomatic subtlety of the cannon burst in Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.” Keyes obviously speaks out of both sides of his mouth inasmuch as he claims he is staunchly pro-life, yet he worked for the very pro-abort, pro-population reduction, United Nations.

He also served on the staff of the National Security Council. On May 26, 2009, President Barack Obama merged the White House staff supporting the Homeland Security Council (HSC) and the National Security Council into one National Security Staff (NSS). The HSC and NSC each continue to exist by statute as bodies supporting the President.

In 1987 Keyes was appointed a resident scholar for the American Enterprise Institute. His principal research for AEI was diplomacy, international relations, and self-government. He was with AEI as a scholar for two years. See part 13 for an overview of AEI who is supported by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. And just who is Peterson? He’s the chairman emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations and founder and chairman of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. He was also the former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York between 2000 and 2004.

Also on the board of AEI is Raymond Gilmartin, retired chairman and CEO of Merck & Co. who was director during the Vioxx scandal and sat on the board of Microsoft as well. And don’t forget their infamous Gardasil vaccine.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supported AEI’s education policy studies headed by Frederick M. Hess who authored reports and other education projects and whose working group includes Washington, D.C. schools chancellor Michelle Rhee and Michael Feinberg, the cofounder of KIPP, both of whom have helped to destroy academic education in America, but that’s another article in itself.

The following information was provided in the 2nd edition of Pastor James Patrick’s “America 2000/Goals 2000” Research Manual:

Alan Keyes was William Kristol’s roommate at Harvard. Bill is a Bilderberger member (left click to enlarge Bilderberger map). Bill Kristol’s father, Irving Kristol, an avowed Trotskyite, who joined the Young People’s Socialist League in the 1930s. In 1953, Irving Kristol founded the magazine, “Encounter” in England, which was secretly being supported by the CIA. It ran puff pieces for Fabian Socialist and Bilderberger, Hugh Gaitskell, head of the Labor Party.

In 1965, together with Daniel Bell, Kristol founded the “Public Interest.” This was a publication of “Freedom House.” Bell belonged to the Young Socialist League and the League for Industrial Democracy which had been named the Intercollegiate Socialist Society. Like Kristol, Bell was subsidized by the CIA through an organization called the Congress for Cultural Freedom of which Bell was a leader. Irving Kristol’s partner, Daniel Bell, has suggested we do away with state boundaries and most local government. Daniel Bell was a CFR member.

For ten years Bell had worked for Brotherhood of Death member (Skull and Bones & CFR) Henry C. Luce at one of his magazines, Fortune. In 1969, Irving Kristol was made the Henry R. Luce professor at New York University. George Field ran the Freedom House which published Kristol and Bell’s, The Public Interest. Field was chairman of the Rand School for Social Science which was owned by the American Socialist Society. It was financed by the Garland Fund which keeps many Communist projects going. Freedom House’s Bookshelf Program was run by Rex Stout who previously published New Masses, a Communist Weekly. Vice President under Gerald Ford, Nelson Rockefeller, directly gave Irving Kristol $100,000 through his Commission on Critical Choices for just 15 short essays. Irving’s son, William Kristol did make it big time. William Kristol was promoted by Newsweek as one of the top three strategists of the GOP. He launched a weekly magazine called the Standard and is backed financially by Ruppert Murdoch. Kristol is assembling the next generation of socialists on behalf of the NWO. The Kristol’s have plotted for two decades under the disarming word, “neo-conservative.” They are, in fact, Trotskyites, as I’ve given the definition in two parts of this series.

William Kristol ran Alan Keyes’ 1988 Senate Campaign in Maryland.

kristol

Keyes was part of Reagan’s National Security Team, and Reagan’s National Security was made up of CFR George P. Schultz; CFR/T Soviet Agent, Henry Kissinger; CFR William Case; CFR/T Casper Weinberger; and CFR Gen. David Jones; with David Rockefeller (Chairman of CFR/T) being an unofficial advisor.

Keyes was promoted by Jeanne Kirkpatrick. Jeanne Kirkpatrick was a member of the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations. In fact, as recently as the 80s, Kirkpatrick was still on the letterhead of the League for Industrial Democracy.

solidarity1932 poster for League for Industrial Democracy, designed by Anita Willcox during the Great Depression, showing solidarity with struggles of workers and poor in America

Kirkpatrick believed in abortion, East-West trade, business with China, and that the Monroe Doctrine is no longer valid. Her American Enterprise Institute is supported by NY Banks and big Oil, CFR and CIA assets. Her husband for many years, Evron, was with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) State Dept and was Director of the Office of Intelligence Research. The OSS was a United States intelligence agency formed during World War II. It was the wartime intelligence agency, and a predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Evron’s specialty was behavioral science. He, since 1954, had been the executive director of the American Political Science Assoc. Hubert Humphrey was the direct product of Evron Kirkpatrick. The Kirkpatrick’s have fashioned candidates scientifically. Keyes is the product of his handlers (those with global fish to fry).

Saying all the right things to sop up and drain support of gullible traditionalists, Keyes was president of Citizens Against Government Waste founded by J. Peter Grace, CFR, CNP. Grace was no more conservative than McGeorge Bundy, Soviet Agent, Henry Kissinger, or W. Averill Harriman. See Esquire Sept. issue 1977, The Latest Secrets of Skull and Bones by Ron Rosenbaum. William Grace is J. Peter Grace’s father and was the signer of incorporation papers of the CFR, in NY City the 25th of July, 1921.

Also signing on that document was Paul Warburg, who was a key personality in the founding of the Federal Reserve in 1913. The W.R. of W.R. Grace stands for William Russell, William Russell was a co-founder of the Brotherhood of Death. It is considered by some students of history that J. Peter Grace has been born into the American Illuminati. Also see Soviet expert Dr. Antony C. Sutton’s book, America’s Secret Establishment on page 5.

Keyes’ Failed Illinois Senatorial Run

Alan Keyes, was the 2004 Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Illinois, against Barack Obama. Keyes once referred to black slave reparations as “an insult to our slave ancestors,” but in 2004 called for a plan that would exempt the descendants of slaves from income taxes for at least a generation. In a manner of speaking, he was calling for reparations for black Americans.

Tax exemption would give Blacks “a competitive edge in the labor market, “because they would be cheaper to hire than federal tax-paying employees” and allow Blacks to be compensated” for all those years when your labor was being exploited,” said Keyes.

He lost to Barack Obama, who had voted three times in the Illinois legislature against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Sadly, my home state is riddled with communists.

Conclusion

Remember there are over 400 members of the secretive Council for National Policy, and it would be impossible to write about each and every one of them. They are not our friends. They are, in fact, the right arm of the Council on Foreign Relations. There are a few places on the web where membership lists, albeit older lists, are available.

Public Eye, Ministers Best Friend, SourceWatch are the most available lists, but are not up-to-date. Wikipedia also has a short list.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 22

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. —Matthew 7:15

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. —2 Timothy 4:2-4

What is a Neo-Con Trotskyite?

Let’s look again at the definition of a neo-con Trotskyite, since this term represents the people of the secretive Council for National Policy, as well as the Republican politicians of the last 50 years.

Forty or fifty years ago or more, those who have become leaders in today’s Republican party drifted away from Trotskyism and began to identify themselves as democratic socialists. Still later, under the guise of neo-conservatives, Irving Kristol and William F. Buckley, who emasculated true old right conservatism, slithered into the Republican party as “moderates.” They stole the name of “conservative” and seized intellectual control of the true conservatives, as well as the entire Republican party. I strongly suggest the purchase of John McManus’s well documented and referenced book, William F. Buckley, Pied Piper for the Establishment. Buckley was CFR, CIA agent, Skull and Bonesman from Yale, as well as an invited guest to Bilderberger conferences. [Link]

We must not ignore Leon Trotsky. Trotsky, unlike Stalin and Lenin, favored the slow and patient imposition of Marxist socialism without murders and gulags, yet he had no problem murdering three million Russians. Trotsky wished for the people to “choose” Marxism, rather than having it forced upon them. Irving Kristol, father of Bilderberger, Bill Kristol, stated, “I regard myself as lucky to have been a young Trotskyite and I have not a single bitter memory.”

Let’s take a look at just a couple more of the top CNP members, and then we’ll close the next article with a list of members who can be found on the web.

William Rusher

William Rusher was on the CNP Board of Governors in 1982. He was a former Trotskyite. In 1955, William F. Buckley, Jr. founded the National Review with William Rusher as editor/publisher.

William Rusher and William F. Buckley

Rusher and F. Clifton White, having cut their political teeth in the Young Republican National Federation (“the powerful and shadowy YRNF ‘syndicate'”), became the political strategists of the ideologically distinct conservative movement that gained organizational control of the Republican Party in 1964. In 1961, Richard Viguerie (See part 18) answered an ad in National Review for a political organizer, and was hired by Rusher as YAF’s (Young Americans for Freedom – founded by Buckley) executive secretary.

In 1976, at an American Conservative Union Conference reception, Rusher was asked the following question by Charlotte Iserbyt, (former Senior Policy Advisor for Reagan’s education department), “Why won’t Human Events, National Review, and the American Conservative Union ever deal with the subject of no elected boards (unelected boards) and regional government?” His response was, “I guess they don’t think it’s so important.” Well, if it’s not so important, why do the communists love it?

In the Communist Daily World of November 8, 1975 it carried a very interesting article entitled, “Planning is Socialism’s Trademark,” by Morris Zeitlin. The Daily World was the newspaper of the Communist Party USA, and was formerly known as The Daily Worker which was founded in 1924. The importance of this article lies in its blatant admission that regionalism, which is gradually becoming the accepted method of unelected governance in the United States (unelected councils and task forces, participatory democracy, public-private partnerships, etc.) is the form of government used in democratic socialist and communist countries.

The entire article by Zeitlin is on page 134 in Charlotte’s book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, and is on her website in pdf download. Planning and a “planned economy” is socialism’s trademark. Think too, of United Nations Agenda 21! Apparently, the neo-cons believe Communism is not very important.

Richard Allen

Richard V.Allen, CNP and CFR member, who with Dr. Edwin J. Feulner,Jr., founded Heritage’s Asian Studies Center in 1983. Mr. Allen has served as its chairman. The 1993 Annual Report of the Heritage Foundation of Washington, D.C. was dedicated to their twentieth year celebration, and revealed the following:

The idea of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) originated with Heritage Fellow Richard Allen and has long been advocated by Heritage policy analysts…. The idea of creating a North American free trade zone from the Yukon to the Yucatan was first proposed by Heritage Distinguished Fellow Richard Allen in the late 1970s, refined by then Presidential candidate Ronald Reagan, and further developed in a major 1986 Heritage Foundation study.

The Free Trade Agreement got the ball rolling for the development of skills standards by the newly formed National Skills Standards Board, endorsed by the U.S. Labor Department Secretary’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills (SCANS) study originated under Labor Secretary Elizabeth Dole, and eventually led to the School-to-Work Opportunities Act and the dumbing down of American education curriculum for workforce training.

See page 315 in The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America on charlotte’s website on the “Impact on Education of the United States Signing the North American Free Trade Agreement.”

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel of April 5, 2015 comes this article, Help wanted: Most U.S. Job Openings are for Low-Skill, Low-Pay Workers, and it all started with “free trade.” Thank you Heritage Foundation and Council for National Policy member, Richard Allen, along with all the neo-con radio hosts who pushed this garbage for the Republicans.

Lt. Col. Oliver North

North is a long time member of the CNP. He came into the public spotlight as a result of his participation in the Iran-Contra affair. Christians should find it disturbing that many CNP members, such as John K. Singlaub and Oliver North, were involved in one of the greatest modern day examples of deep politics: the Iran-Contra Scandal. John K. Singlaub and Oliver North, were part of the secret team of covert operators carrying out the Reagan and Bush Administration’s secret agenda.

North claimed partial responsibility for the sale of weapons through intermediaries to Iran, with the profits being channeled to the Contras in Nicaragua. He was convicted on three different counts for helping deceive Congress about the Reagan administration’s trading arms to Iran for release of hostages, for destroying documents, and for illegally accepting a home security system that was paid for by a government contractor, (Richard Secord), whom North had brought into his operations. North himself in a message sent to John Poindexter (a message that he attempted but failed to destroy), lays out the chain of organizations from Tehran right down to the hostage holders – a well-known Middle Eastern terrorist group called the Hezbollah. His conviction was later reversed on the grounds that immunized testimony had been used at his trial.

Richard Secord

Rex 84 was Oliver North’s 1984 “controversial” readiness exercise’ that called for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), to round up and detain 400,000 imaginary ‘refugees,’ in the context of ‘uncontrolled population movements’ over the Mexican border in the US. North’s activities raised civil liberties concerns in both Congress and the Justice Department. Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, was a classified “scenario and drill” developed by the US federal government to suspend the United States Constitution, declare martial law, place military commanders in charge of state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens who are deemed to be “national security threats”, in the event that the President declares a “State of National Emergency“. The plan states, events causing such a declaration would be widespread U.S. opposition to a U.S. military invasion abroad, such as if the United States were to directly invade Central America. To combat what the government perceived as “subversive activities”, the plan also authorized the military to direct ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels.

Rex 84 was written by Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, who was both National Security Council White House Aide, and NSC liaison to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and John Brinkerhoff, the deputy director of “national preparedness” programs for the FEMA. They patterned the plan on a 1970 report written by FEMA chief Louis Giuffrida, at the Army War College, which proposed the detention of up to 21 million “American Negroes,” if there were a black militant uprising in the United States. Existence of a master military contingency plan (of which REX-84 was a part), “Garden Plot” and a similar earlier exercise, “Lantern Spike,” were originally revealed by journalist Ron Ridenhour, who summarized his findings in an article in Counter Spy.

North gave us both FEMA and Rex 84 which would suspend the Constitution and declare Martial Law during a state of National Emergency. He lives on a huge estate on top of Mt. Weather, the underground city that would hide the politicians in the event of nuclear catastrophe. It is a FEMA operation with armed guards.

Gary Bauer

Gary Bauer founded the Family Research Council, in 1983. In 1996, he was featured as a speaker at the Moon’s Women’s Federation For World Peace Conference in Washington DC, and had a full page ad in the Moon-owned Washington Times in August, 1997.

In 1997, a new headquarters for FRC, a six-story building which stands at 801 G Street N.W. in the heart of the nation’s capital, was built and decorated with funds through resources provided by FRC benefactors, the families of CNP members, Ed and Elsa Prince and 33º Mason Richard DeVos of Amway fame. Mr. Bauer ran for President in 2000, withdrew and backed pro-abortion candidate John McCain.

Bauer was under Secretary of Education beginning in July 1985, when he was confirmed by unanimous vote in the U.S. Senate. While serving at the Education Department, Bauer was named Chairman of President Reagan’s Special Working Group on the Family.

One has to wonder just how much Gary knew about the US/Soviet education agreements of 1985 and 1988 which brought Skinnerian behavioral training into American schools and eliminated academic education. B.F. Skinner used a system of “reward and punishment” for teaching. He stated, “I could make a pigeon a high achiever by reinforcing it on a proper schedule.” Thus, thanks to Reagan’s education agreements, we now have American children being trained like dogs, rather than being academically educated. See Anita Hoge’s article Manipulating Students by Reward and Punishment and Charlotte Iserbyt’s Back To Basics Reform, Or…OBE *Skinnerian International Curriculum? booklet available on her website.

In November 2009, Bauer signed an ecumenical statement known as the Manhattan Declaration calling on evangelical, Catholic and Orthodox Christians not to comply with rules and laws which they claim would compel participation in or blessing of abortion, same-sex marriage and other matters that go against their religious consciences. Sounds great doesn’t it? The Manhattan Declaration is Catholics and evangelicals together. It’s co-signers include CFR members, Robert George and Richard Land, both of whom, along with Dr. Albert Mohler, are United Nations non-governmental organization members (UN-NGO’s) who serve UNESCO. [Link]

Having said all that, Gary Bauer supports strong ties with Israel, our only middle east friend, and is a critic of Islam. He has written some excellent articles on Israel and the Obama administration. However, he also believes we should advance and protect freedom worldwide, but we are not the world’s police.

In Part 23, we’ll look at a few more top members of the CNP. I will link to the few membership lists available on the web, but they are incomplete. No one knows the total number of members today, and who they are, as they are kept secret.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 18

Truth is a terrible cross to bear. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered. —Thomas Paine

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! —Isaiah 5:20

Let’s take a look at a few of the top rightwing movers and shakers who were close to Sun Myung Moon for various reasons. To give you an overview of some of those in Moon’s repertoire, you might want to listen to this 1997 interview with Chey Simonton who had researched the Moonie cult and their connections to the Christian right. Here is the transcript of that interview.

Jerry Falwell and Liberty University

Many years ago I wrote to a preacher friend of mine in Texas who thought the world of CNP charter member, Jerry Falwell. I told him Falwell had received mega funds from Moon, and this was a common occurrence for Council for National Policy members. He wrote to Falwell, and asked him if this was true. Falwell wrote him back and denied it. However, the truth won out and the funds were documented by diligent researchers.

Later, Jerry Falwell readily admitted that he had accepted 3.5 million dollars from Moon in 1994, in order to bail out his Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. This was funneled through a Moon organization known as the Women’s Federation for World Peace which had been chaired by Beverly LaHaye, wife of Timothy LaHaye, who is one of the founders of the Council for National Policy (see part 4). Beverly LaHaye is the founder of Concerned Women for America, whose chief financial officer is none other than her son, Lee LaHaye, an openly gay man. How interesting since CWA’s mission statement is adamantly against homosexuality.

The Women’s Federation for World Peace paid 3.5 million to the Christian Heritage Foundation (CHF), a nonprofit group which in turn bought Falwell’s $73 million debt, and then wrote it off. A research driven reporter had used an IRS tax form to track the donation’s source. [Link] The CHF then seems to have paid themselves a fee of one million dollars for their trouble. Where they got the money for that is anyone’s guess.

Falwell subsequently spoke at many of Moons’ functions, embracing the cult-leader with unabashed reverence and friendship. Even writings from Moons’ Church confirm Falwell’s comradeship with ‘the new messiah’ and his cult. Moon had even been a guest speaker in mainline denominational Churches. Falwell further praised Rev. Moon calling him, “An unsung hero to the cause of freedom, who is to be commended for his determination and courage and endurance in support of his beliefs.”

According to official court records of a lawsuit that was filed in Bedford County Circuit Court (West Virginia), it was alleged that Falwell and an associate flew to South Korea, January 9, 1994 to meet with Unification Church officials. This trip came shortly before Falwell was awarded the Moon money. Falwell stated openly, “If the American Atheists Society or Saddam Hussein himself ever sent an unrestricted gift to any of my ministries, be assured I will operate on Billy Sunday’s philosophy: The Devil’s had it long enough, and quickly cash the check.”

Personally, I don’t believe God needs one penny of satan’s monies to accomplish anything.

Dave Hunt of Berean Call stated the following in the Calvary Contender:

“Equally unthinkable was Jerry Falwell’s participation as a speaker at a conference last December in Uruguay, sponsored by Sun Myung Moon’s Inter Religious Foundation for World Peace and Washington Times Foundation, titled, “Christian Ecumenism in the Americas: Toward One Christian Family Under God.” (This is one world religion folks)

According to Moon’s Unification News, speakers, in addition to Moon and Falwell, included William Cenker (Chair of the Dept. of Religious Studies at Catholic University of America), Dr. Nilson Fanini (president of the Baptist World Alliance), and Michael Cromartie. In his speech, Falwell said, “It is my observation and personal conviction that conferences and seminars like this one can be very beneficial for building bridges of communication.”

Richard Viguerie, Direct Mail Wizard

When CNP charter member, Richard Viguerie fell on hard times in the late 1980s, Moon directed more business his way. The Washington Times hired the New Right’s direct-mail whiz to conduct a pricey direct-mail subscription drive. The business boosted Viguerie’s profit margin.

Another element of Moon’s strategy is to approach a conservative leader when he’s financially down, and this is what he did with Viguerie. Moon quietly infuses money and gains the leader’s gratitude.

In 1986, Viguerie was rescued from near bankruptcy with an account for distribution of the Unification Church-owned Insight magazine. Bo Hi Pak, a former Korean military-intelligence officer and Moon’s top U.S. operative, paid $10.06 million for Viguerie’s office building. Also, in 1987, Viguerie became Secretary, strategist and fund-raising genius of the newly created Moon-controlled and funded American Freedom Coalition (AFC), an alliance of political conservatives and conservative religious groups and individuals. In this position, Viguerie mailed millions of letters appealing for funds to lobby aid to the Contras and promote CNP member, Oliver North’s testimony before Congress. [Orange County Register, Dec. 21, 1987 / Washington Post, Oct. 15, 1989]

With Moon’s timely intervention, Viguerie survived financially and remains an important fixture in conservative political campaigns to this day. When Iran-contra figure Oliver North ran for the U.S. Senate in Virginia in 1994, his principal direct-mail contractor was Viguerie’s company, according to Federal Election Commission records.

Viguerie was the Executive secretary of Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) from 1961-64 when he started his own direct mail fundraising company, RAVCO, now Viguerie Communications, using the YAF and Goldwater mailing lists. The founding statement of YAF was adopted in a meeting at the home of neo-con Trotskyite, William F. Buckley, CFR/CIA/Skull and Bonesman. [Link]

In the 1970s, Viguerie did the direct-mail fundraising for Paul Weyrich’s Committee for the Survival of a Free Congress, now the Free Congress Foundation. Viguerie was a candidate in 1976 for the presidential nomination of the neo-fascist, “Klan-infested” American Independent Party (AIP) of George Wallace. In 1975, he created The Conservative Caucus (TCC) with CNP charter member and Dominionist Howard Phillips.

Let’s look at Ron Godwin and his close ties to Jerry Falwell and Sun Myung Moon. Godwin is someone most people haven’t heard of, but who has wielded a great deal of power within the rightwing camp as a “musketeer” for Moon. He isn’t particularly flashy or famous, and seems to have sailed under the radar of many conservatives.

On Jan. 28, 1995, a beaming Rev. Jerry Falwell told his Old Time Gospel Hour congregation some news that seemed heaven sent. The televangelist hailed two Virginia businessmen as financial saviors of debt-ridden Liberty University. They were Daniel Reber and Jimmy Thomas. Their non-profit Christian Heritage Foundation of Forest, Va., snapped up a big chunk of Liberty’s debt for $2.5 million, a fraction of its face value. Thousands of small religious investors who had bought church construction bonds through a Texas company were the big losers. Left unmentioned by Rev. Falwell was the fact that it was Moon who helped bail out Liberty University through one of his front groups which funneled $3.5 million to the Reber-Thomas Christian Heritage Foundation, the non-profit that had purchased the school’s debt.

According to Bob Parry’s research in Consortiumnews.com, the full public record strongly suggests that Falwell solicited Moon’s help in bailing out Liberty University. In a lawsuit on file in the Circuit Court of Bedford County — a community in southwestern Virginia — two of Reber’s former business associates alleged that Reber and Falwell flew to South Korea on Jan. 9, 1994, on a seven-day “secret trip” to meet “with representatives of the Unification Church.” The court document states that Reber and Falwell were accompanied to South Korea by Ronald S. Godwin, who had been executive director of Falwell’s Moral Majority before signing on as vice president of Moon’s Washington Times.

According to Bedford County court records, Reber, Falwell and Godwin also had discussions at Liberty University in 1993 with Dong Moon Joo, one of Moon’s right-hand men and president of The Washington Times.

Ronald Godwin, formerly the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, was the chief academic officer for Liberty university. As of Saturday, April 12, 2014, Liberty University released an additional statement announcing a reduced role at the school for Dr. Ron Godwin. This has so far been covered by the Lynchburg News & Advance, the Roanoke Times, the Richmond Times Dispatch, Charisma News, WVVA TV in Bluefield, WV, and even briefly in the local section of the Washington Post.

Liberty University had scaled back the responsibilities overseen by Provost Ron Godwin following a video in which he appeared to endorse a partnership between the university and Texas-based faith healer, Benny Hinn. Godwin, 76, will no longer serve as the university’s vice president for academic affairs, though he will continue as provost.

According to Matthew Grant McDaniel’s website, Dr. Godwin, and perhaps other Liberty administration, had prior knowledge of this arrangement with Benny Hinn since at least 2009, and it has been inappropriately kept confidential for the past five years. This is documented in Dr. Godwin’s ‘Provost’s Statement’ from April 4, where he makes clear that Mr. Reber (of Reber-Thomas Christian Heritage Foundation mentioned above) informed him “he had been authorized since 2009 by Liberty University (his words) to sell Liberty University Institute of Biblical Studies courses via Benny Hinn Ministries.” This, by the way, actually contradicts Liberty’s first statement that “Liberty transferred the operations of Liberty Home Bible Institute…to Mr. Dan Reber in 2011.”

For more on this story, see Liberty University’s Provost was a Senior Moonie Apostle and Collaborator by James Duncan on the website, Pajama Pages.

Obviously, Jerry Falwell had no problem associating with and accepting funds from Sun Myung Moon. He also had no problem hiring one of Moon’s major promoters and musketeers, Ron Godwin. And apparently Ron Godwin has no problem selling Liberty University Biblical Studies Courses via a very questionable ministry like Benny Hinn’s. Money certainly makes for strange bedfellows who claim to be Christian conservatives, yet find no problem consorting with cultists and apostates.

In the last few parts of this series, we’ll take a look at a few of the movers and shakers in the Council for National Policy.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 14

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29

“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” Mark Twain

Heritage Foundation is extremely well funded. The below article from The Hill gives an idea of the monies which pass through this Foundation:

Heritage’s expenses totaled $80 million last year compared to $82 million in 2012. DeMint received $614,000 in compensation in 2013 from Heritage, including his $380,000 base salary and a $200,000 bonus, according to the tax document. (That’s quite a bit more than his $174,000 as a senator.) Edwin Feulner Jr., the organization’s outgoing president who led Heritage for 36 years, received $3.5 million in compensation in 2013, a figure that could raise eyebrows among the think tank’s critics. Feulner earned a 2013 base salary of $181,000 and a $700,000 bonus for his service as the think tank’s president in 2012. He also received $2.52 million from a deferred compensation plan into which he contributed $865,000 from 1980 to 2006. The plan accrued $1.66 million in investment earnings. He continues to serve as chairman of Heritage’s Asian Studies Center. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell’s (Ky.) wife, Elaine Chao, who served as secretary of Labor under former President George W. Bush, received $267,000 as a distinguished fellow at Heritage.”

This is what your $25.00 per month donation funds….big salaries!

Heritage’s Asian Studies Center

In 1983, together with Dr. Edwin J. Feulner, Jr., CNP member, Richard V. Allen founded the Heritage Foundation‘s Asian Studies Center, (note who their guest speakers have been). Allen was the previous chairman of the Center, but now it is headed by Feulner.

With a “long history of receiving large donations from overseas,” Heritage continued to rake in a minimum of several hundred thousand dollars from Taiwan and South Korea each year through the 1990s, according to Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting. Link

In the autumn of 1988, the South Korean National Assembly uncovered a document revealing that Korean intelligence secretly gave $2.2 million to the Heritage Foundation during the early 1980s. In turn, Heritage established an Asian Studies Center. (The Coors Connection by Russ Bellant, page 3-6). There was also a connection between Heritage and the Rev. Sun Myung Moon (founder of the “Moonies” as well as of the Washington Times). This first appeared in a 1975 congressional investigation on the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA) activities in the US. The report noted, “In 1975, Ed Feulner … was introduced to KCIA station chief Kim Yung Hwan by Neil Salonen and Dan Feffernan of the Freedom Leadership foundation”. Salonen was head of Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church in the United States. The Freedom Leadership Foundation (FLF), a political arm of Moon’s Unification network, was linked to the World Anti-Communist League.(Again see Russ Bellant’s The Coors Connection, page 3-6).

Heritage officials “categorically deny” the accusation that the organization received money from Korean intelligence. In 1995, Heritage’s annual report did include a $400,000 grant from Samsung, a Korean company. The Wall Street Journal also reported that between 1993 and 1996, Heritage received almost $1 million from the Korea Foundation, which reportedly “serves as a direct conduit of money from the South Korean government.

Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis’s gift to Heritage

davisThe Davis’s

Just recently Heritage received a gift of $26 million. Following decades of strong support, the family of the late Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis announced that they have made a $26 million gift to advance the work and mission of the Davis Institute for International Studies at The Heritage Foundation. Shelby Cullom Davis was a member of Heritage’s board of trustees from 1979 to 1992.

Like Heritage accepting $200,000 from former CFR Chairman Peter G. Peterson’s Foundation to participate in a forum on how to address the fiscal cliff, the gift from the Davis family is telling. The late Shelby Cullom Davis was an early and influential backer of Heritage’s mission, and his support led to the publication of Mandate for Leadership, which became a blueprint for President Reagan’s first term in office. Link

Shelby Cullom Davis (April 1, 1909 – May 26, 1994) was an American investment banker, philanthropist, and former United States Ambassador to Switzerland hailing from the state of New York. He served as the American envoy in Bern under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford from 1969 to 1975. His wife Kathryn Wasserman Davis was an American philanthropist, scholar of world affairs, and longtime promoter of women’s rights through the League of Women’s Voters as well as Planned Parenthood. She was committed to engaging local communities, particularly regarding the environment on the Hudson River and Maine coast, and also concerned with access to high-quality education meaning global education initiatives. Davis was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Council of American Ambassadors, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Visiting Committee of the Davis Center at Harvard. She was a Wellesley College trustee for 18 years. In addition, she served as a distinguished trustee at the United World College-USA, an honorary trustee at the Heritage Foundation, trustee emerita at The Youth Foundation, on the advisory board of Seeds of Peace, and as a decades-long officer and trustee of the Women’s National Republican Club.

The Koch Brothers

 koch-brothersDavid and Charles Koch

The Koch brothers (pronounced “Coke”) — David and Charles — are the right-wing billionaire co-owners of Koch Industries. As two of the richest people in the world, they are key funders of the right-wing infrastructure, including the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and the State Policy Network (SPN), which are mini-Heritages in each state. Key articles on the Kochs include: Koch Brothers, Koch Industries, Americans for Prosperity, and Freedom Partners (who funds the neo-con Trotskyite Tea Party Patriots who are pushing a Constitutional Convention).

David Koch is on the board of Trustees of Rockefeller University. He is also on the board of Earthwatch Institute, an environmental, sustainability, Agenda 21 group. See this map of Koch’s many connections. David Koch also supports gay marriage and stem-cell research.   He is also on the board of the globalist new age Aspen Institute formerly headed by new age environmentalist Maurice Strong. Strong, Club of Rome member, devout Bahai, founder and first Secretary General of United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), has been the driving force behind the birth and imposition of UN Agenda 21. While Strong chaired the Earth Summit, outside his wife Hanne and 300 followers called the Wisdom-Keepers, continuously beat drums, chanted prayers to Gaia, in order to “establish and hold the energy field” for the duration of the summit. You can view actual footage of these ceremonies on youtube.

Strong has membership in the following organizations, but this does not include the entire list:

  •  Senior Advisor to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan   Senior Advisor to World Bank President James Wolfensohn  Chairman of the Earth Council  Chairman of the World Resources Institute  Co-Chairman of the Council of the World Economic Forum  member of Toyota’s International Advisory Board
  • member of the Futurist Society (which Newt Gingrich also belongs to as well as Newt’s long time friends Alvin and Heidi Toffler).

The Koch brothers affiliations are both left and right. The Heritage Foundation has received funding from organizations with connections to the Koch brothers. In 2012, the Heritage Foundation received $650,000 from the Claude R. Lambe Foundation, which was one of the Koch Family Foundations before it closed in 2013. The Lambe Foundation contributed at least $4.8 million to the Heritage Foundation between 1998 and 2012.

Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index is an annual economic competitiveness study authored by economist Dr. Arthur Laffer, Stephen Moore, chief economist at the Heritage Foundation, and Jonathan Williams, Director of the Tax and Fiscal Policy Task Force at the American Legislative Exchange Council. Until recently, little information was available about the funders of Rich States, Poor States, but tucked in a cache of ALEC internal documents obtained by the Guardian in December, 2013, was a spreadsheet (PDF pg. 40) that showed for the first time that Rich States, Poor States is funded by the Kochs’ Claude Lambe Foundation, as well as the Searle Freedom Trust.

The Claude R. Lambe Charitable Foundation (CRLF) is one of three Koch Family Foundations; this one was controlled by Charles Koch. He created the foundation in Wichita in the early 1980s with funds from the estate of his friend Claude Lambe. For the past three decades, CRLF has often spent millions annually to provide a regular infusion of cash for groups pushing the agenda favored by Koch. This includes millions of dollars, cumulatively, provided to the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), the Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society and some state-based think tanks operating under the State Policy Network (SPN) banner.

The Searle Freedom Trust, was founded by David Searle, who made millions from aspartame marketed as NutraSweet. Both foundations are major funders of the neo-con rightwing which includes ALEC and the Heritage State Policy Network, 64 state-based think tanks that produce academic reports, talking points and more to advance ALEC’s agenda, and their promotion of a Constitutional Convention. Link

The Koch family-controlled Claude R. Lambe Foundation (CRLF) was dissolved in 2013, further limiting what little is publicly known of which groups receive money controlled or directed by Charles and David Koch and their operatives. As seems likely, if the Koch brothers, both individually and through Koch Industries, are making similar grants elsewhere, then the size and scope of their influence has been significantly underestimated. The likely impact of CRLF’s closing, even if what it demonstrates, is just the tip of a very large iceberg, will be that the public knows even less about the Koch brothers’ political spending. The foundation closed by transferring more than $2 million to an unspecified “donor-advised fund” within the Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund, to be distributed at the direction of whomever controls that donor-advised fund.

The National Journal also reported in September 2013 that David Koch himself had provided a $850,000 personal check to the Americans for Prosperity Foundation in 2003. Similarly, CMD reported that David Koch provided the Massachusetts SPN think tank Pioneer Institute, with a $125,000 personal check in 2007. Both of these documents were public, although unexpectedly so.

In recent years, the Heritage Foundation has also received funding from Donors Trust and Donors Capital Fund, including $53,300 in 2010 and $69,850 in 2012. The Koch brothers have donated millions of dollars to Donors Trust through the Knowledge and Progress Fund, and possibly other vehicles.

Jimmy Swaggart Ministries Update

swaggartJimmy Swaggart

In Part 4 of this series we discussed Tim LaHaye as one of the founders of the Council for National Policy. In that article I stated,

Other so-called evangelicals that served with LaHaye at CRF as executive committee and/or advisory board members were CNP charter member, Dominionist Don Wildmon, founder and president of the social activist American Family Association; Point Of View nationwide radio talk show host, CNP charter member, Marlin Maddoux, (deceased); CNP member, James Robison; charter CNP member, D. James Kennedy, author and pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, (deceased); Paul Crouch, TBN Network’s infamous founder; Hal Lindsey and Jimmy Swaggart. This certainly is an agenda of social activism which makes for strange ecumenical bedfellows.”

I received an email from the attorney for Jimmy Swaggart Ministries stating Jimmy had never been involved with Sun Myung Moon or Dominionism, and had, in fact, exposed same. Researcher Sarah Leslie, who had been a guest on Francis Swaggart’s show (Francis and Friends) many times between 2000-2005 told me had discussed these very subjects on air.

The attorney asked me where I found the information and wanted me to retract Swaggart’s name from my statement. I removed Swaggart’s name from Part 4 of this series, and I explained to the attorney that the information is on many valid websites and to do her own research. However, my thanks goes to another researcher who reminded me that the statement is also on page 69 in Sara Diamond’s book, Spiritual Warfare. Since I have the book, I pulled it off my library shelf, and there was the original statement.

Sara Diamond is the author of four books that study and expose the agenda and tactics of the American political neo-conservative rightwing. She has her PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley as well as her J.D. from Hastings College of Law.

The Bancroft Library at U.C. Berkeley maintains the Sara Diamond Collection on the U.S. Right, an archive of the materials she assembled about the neo-conservative movement in the United States. University publications have described it as one of the largest collections of its type in the country.

Earlier researchers into the Moon/Dominion right may have thought all televangelists were involved, yet some were not. Nevertheless, I have found Sara Diamond’s books to be well documented and referenced, and would suggest Swaggart Ministries contact Sara Diamond as she is the original and documented source of my statements in Part 4 of this series.

In Part 15 of this series, we’ll take a look at the cultist Sun Myung Moon’s connection to the Council for National Policy and the Heritage Foundation.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 12

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Ephesians 5:11-13

Richard Mellon Scaife’s funding activities actually began in 1962, when he gave several grants to various organizations, including the American Bar Association’s Fund for Public Education allegedly for “education against communism.” Of course, the American Bar Association is funded by quislings like Bill Gates, Apple, Carnegie Foundation and all the other usual suspects, and they are supporting and promoting Bush 41’s ‘Rule of Law‘ for world government based on sustainability. Can you say fascism? Link. “Education against communism,” is a joke with these NWO funders. Check out the American Bar Association’s very edited article from their interview with Agenda 21 expert, Rosa Koire, and I’m sure you’ll get the picture of just who Scaife was funding! Here is Rosa’s actual taped interview, much of which was deleted and skewed by the interviewer.

scaife 2

The total of Richard Mellon Scaife’s giving—to neo-conservatives as well as many other beneficiaries—exceeds $600 million, or $1.4 billion in current dollars, much more than any previous estimate.

Let’s take a look at a few of the top organizations this so-called “conservative,” Richard Mellon Scaife, has funded both past and present.

Personal Funding

According to campaignmoney.com, from 1999 through 2006, Scaife has (as his personal donations), under the name “R. Scaife,” made 10 contributions of over $200 to political campaigns, for a total of $19,000. Under the name “R.M. Scaife” he made 4 donations, for a total of $22,000. Under the name Richard Scaife, he made 23 donations over this period, for a total of $142,904. Besides donations to the Republican National Committee and various political campaigns such as Santorum 2000 and the Santorum Victory Committee for neo-con, Rick Santorum, he has also supported Political Action Committees such as the Pro-Growth Action Team, the Free Congress PAC (formerly: Committee For the Survival Of a Free Congress, which was founded by Paul Weyrich), and the Club For Growth Inc. PAC. His various foundations make much larger contributions. Let’s take a look at Club For Growth…

Club for Growth

Stephen Moore was the founder of Club for Growth, and he is now chief economist at the Heritage Foundation and was the former Wall Street Journal editorial writer who championed tax cuts. WSJ is owned by CFR member Rupert Murdoch and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who owns 7%. Moore has been paid to promote policies for the Koch funded Americans for Prosperity (AFP), owned by David Koch, who is a member of the globalist Aspen Institute. Please see my 2011 article on AFP. Aspen Institute’s former director was none other than Maurice Strong, of UN Agenda 21 fame. Moore is also an American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) “scholar” as of 2011. On August 4th, 2011, he spoke at a Shell Oil-sponsored plenary session of the 38th Annual ALEC Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, along with fellow ALEC “scholar” Arthur B. Laffer.

Club for Growth’s partners and allies include the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. Peterson is chairman emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations and former chairman of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. Another ally is the US Chamber of Commerce, who is so behind the invasion of illegal aliens on our southern borders. Link Link See Erica Carle’s short three-part article, “Who is in Charge of the New World Order?” about the Chamber of Commerce.

Joseph Farah and Western Journalism Center

Farah

Most every conservative with a computer knows of CNP member Joseph Farah’s World Net Daily, but not everyone knows that originally, Joe Farah founded Western Journalism Center (WJC) after having worked for a short time for one of Richard Scaife’s newspapers. Farah worked for six years as executive news editor at the Los Angeles Herald Examiner. Then, in July of 1990, Farah became editor of the Sacramento Union after Richard Mellon Scaife had sold it to Daniel Benvenuti Jr. and David Kassis. The paper continued to lose money. After leaving the Sacramento Union in 1991, Joseph Farah and former Union publisher, James Smith, founded the Western Journalism Center — under whose aegis Farah later founded World Net Daily. Farah apparently now fully owns WJC.

In 1994-1995, during the Clinton years, WJC accepted $330,000 in donations from then-Clinton-hater, Richard Mellon Scaife. The funds came from a Scaife controlled foundation. Most likely this was done in the effort to gain support in exposing the Clintons. Other conservative foundations contributed as well — and it went dormant as soon as Clinton left office, but has now returned with another Democrat in our White House.

Here is the 2012-990 for WJC, and you’ll notice Floyd Brown is the President, and Farah’s fellow CNP member, Gary Kreep, is their general council. Farah claims he is against any Constitutional Convention, but several years ago, he allowed Gary Kreep to write an article in WND which claimed the recalls for a Con-Con from twelve states may not be valid. Why would Farah, who allegedly is against a Con-Con, allow Kreep to state in a WND article that each state’s attorney general needs to validate the recalls and then they need to be sent to Eric Holder for final validation. What does he think Eric Holder would say? Here is the full story Gary Kreep’s article in WND.

Scaife was also the major backer of The American Spectator, whose Arkansas Project set out to find facts about Clinton and in which Paula Jones‘ accusations of sexual harassment against Clinton were first widely publicized. The American Spectator is a monthly magazine covering news and politics, edited by R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr. Other major funding came from the pro-school choice Bradley Foundation.

In 1996, according to Citizens for Honest Government (CHG) records, CNP member and CHG founder, Pat Matrisciana, and Christopher Ruddy, who was then a reporter for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, a newspaper owned by Richard Mellon Scaife, “maintained a joint bank account in the name of Jeremiah Productions, now Jeremiah Films, that made modest payments to critics of the president.” Additionally, “internal records of Jeremiah Productions” obtained by Murray Waas of Salon Magazine, showed that, as of September 1997, “the bank account controlled by Matrisciana and Ruddy had ‘total assets of $3.069 million and no liabilities.

Despite Scaife’s seeming hatred of the Clintons and his funding of Western Journalism Center, The American Spectator, and Christopher Ruddy’s Newsmax, the latter two who targeted the Clintons with both truth and lies, Scaife turned around and on April 20, 2008, two days before Pennsylvania’s presidential primary, Scaife’s Pittsburgh Tribune Review endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. Scaife also worked with Bill Clinton on his so-called “Clinton Global Initiative,” or CGI. CGI is a non-partisan organization that convenes global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Each year, CGI hosts an Annual Meeting in September, scheduled to coincide with the U.N. General Assembly. Throughout the year, CGI helps its members – primarily corporations, NGOs, and government leaders to bring about change. (None of which freedom loving Americans would like.) Ruddy told The New York Times he and Scaife had changed their views on the Clintons. “Both of us have had a rethinking. Clinton wasn’t such a bad president. In fact, he was a pretty good president in a lot of ways, and Dick feels that way today.”

In July 2012, Ruddy was a member of the official delegation that accompanied President Clinton on his five-nation tour of Africa, reviewing Clinton Foundation initiatives in the area of health care, HIV/AIDS programs, education and poverty alleviation.

During the delegation’s visit to Maputo, Mozambique, Ruddy blogged for the Clinton Foundation website, “The Clinton Foundation demonstrates that public-private partnerships and strategic engagement of private citizens, community members, and local governments can achieve great results in health care. And as I saw firsthand today in Mozambique, this work is innovative in its scope and in its purpose – which is to ensure governments can own and maintain their own health care systems without further reliance on aid. I applaud the Clinton Foundation for bringing together groups and individuals from all sides of the political spectrum to build a world that’s more equal, more sustainable, and that benefits us all.”

Sounds to me like he’s now fully on board and in bed with Clinton initiatives.

Richard Mellon Scaife spread his monies around to a variety of organizations and enterprises. It would take a book to cover them all, but in Part 13, we’ll look at a few more of the neo-conservative groups he funded.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 11

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen” . . . Samuel Adams

Richard Mellon Scaife

scaife

Richard Mellon Scaife (born July 3, 1932) was an American billionaire and newspaper publisher. Scaife owned and published the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. With $1.2 billion, Scaife, a principal heir to the Carnegie-Mellon banking, oil, and aluminum fortune, was No. 283 on the 2005 Forbes 400. In May, 2014, he announced that he had untreatable cancer. Link On Friday, July 4th, 2014, Richard Mellon Scaife died at the age of 82. Link Scaife has been a huge financial supporter of Heritage Foundation for many decades, as well as being on their board of trustees for years. Link

Scaife provided support for a variety of organizations through the private, non-profit foundations he controlled: the Sarah Scaife Foundation (2012-990), Carthage Foundation, and Allegheny Foundation, and until 2001, the Scaife Family Foundation 2012990), now controlled by his daughter Jennie and son David, children by his first wife. He was thought of as a neo-conservative donor, yet he funded both sides of the aisle.

Then there’s the Colcom Foundation (2012-990), run by Scaife’s sister, Cordelia Scaife May, until her death in 2005. Scroll down in the 990 form to the grants, and you’ll see that Cordelia May funded population control proponents, environmentalists, Carnegie-Mellon, the Nature Conservancy, John Tanton’s organizations, etc. Cordelia Scaife May was an environmentalist committed to population control, and believed limiting immigration was the best way to do it. She founded the Colcom Foundation to advance this goal, providing tens of millions to anti-immigrant groups, as well as funding environmental organizations. I would agree to limiting immigration, but not for the same reasons Cordelia and Richard had for funding these organizations.

Cordelia May was a close friend of John Tanton, another conservationist turned anti-immigration activist, responsible for the creation of a network of anti-immigrant groups, such as the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) and Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and Numbers USA, headed by Roy Beck. The latter is promoting E-Verify, which would subject all Americans to an international databank. How would you like to go through a federal data bank in order to get a job?  Since 2001, Colcom has been the primary funder for many groups in the anti-immigrant John Tanton Network, giving over $17 million to Numbers USA, almost $15 million to FAIR, and more than $6 million to CIS.

Richard Mellon Scaife had long agreed with his sister, Cordelia Richard Scaife. Through his management of the Carthage Foundation and the Sarah Scaife Foundation, and together with the Scaife Family Foundation (controlled by Richard Scaife’s children since 2001), he strongly supported Tanton’s organizations with huge donations. He has donated more than $4 million to FAIR and more than $3 million to CIS since the early 1990s. Additionally, since 2001, the Scaife foundations have given Numbers USA $987,500. So let’s take a closer look at the Tanton Network.

John Tanton’s Numbers USA

Many conservatives are familiar with Roy Beck from Numbers USA. Roy Beck is the heir apparent to John Tanton’s network. Numbers USA has maintained a number of questionable contacts, such as the brazen Holocaust denier Jim Rizoli, who was listed as the group’s state contact for Massachusetts in early 2011. In its 2009 video, “Immigration 103—American Trauma: Jobs and the Economy,” Numbers USA featured the testimony of Roan Garcia-Quintana, a board member of the white nationalist organization, Council of Conservative Citizens. At a CofCC national conference, Garcia-Quintana stated, “There are three types of people in the world: Negroids, Mongroids, and Caucasians.”

From 1977 to 1981, columnist Samuel T. Francis was a policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., specializing in foreign affairs, terrorism, and intelligence and internal security issues. Francis also wrote the Council of Conservative Citizens‘ platform, the “Statement of Principles.” Francis was editor of the Citizens Informer quarterly newsletter (published by the Council of Conservative Citizens) and an editor of The Occidental Quarterly, a white nationalist journal edited by Kevin Lamb and sponsored by William Regnery II.

Roy Beck’s writings have appeared on the anti-immigrant blog VDARE.com. VDARE was founded by the white nationalist, Peter Brimelow, and regularly features anti-Semitic, homophobic, and flagrantly racist authors and articles. VDARE has long allowed Tanton personnel to bridge the gap between the more concealed bigotry of their anti-immigrant project and their explicit white nationalist tendencies.

Just who is John Tanton, and what does he represent? Here is a list of his networks, and notice population control and eugenics. John Tanton M.D. is “publisher of The Social Contract,” and served as editor for its first 8 years. He is a retired eye surgeon whose boyhood on a farm made him into an ardent “greenie” conservationist and advocate for the environment.

His conviction that continued human population growth was a large part of the conservation problem led him to chair the National Sierra Club Population Committee (1971-74), and to the national board of Zero Population Growth (1973-78, including a term as president, 1975-77). In 1979, Tanton shifted his focus towards fighting immigration to reduce the U.S. population, and organized the anti-immigrant Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) based in Washington, D.C. Since then, Tanton has formed, funded, or otherwise been affiliated with many prominent anti-immigration organizations, in what has been termed the John Tanton Network. He is also closely affiliated with a number of white supremacist organizations such as the Pioneer Fund, whose founders included CNP charter member, Senator Jesse Helms. Tanton’s close relationships with white nationalists and eugenics is documented at the Center for New Community.

Planned Parenthood Funding

Both Richard Mellon Scaife and his sister, Cordelia, were major donors to abortion rights advocates, and both have given millions to Planned Parenthood. Their mother, Sarah Mellon Scaife’s, favorite causes were population control, environmental conservation, and hospitals. As a matter of fact, Dick Scaife took out a full page ad in the Wall Street Journal on Monday, April 4, 2011. It was an open letter from Scaife to fellow conservatives, entitled, “Why Conservatives Should Oppose Efforts to Defund Planned Parenthood.” Obviously from his statements in this letter, he loved Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger. Scaife called abortions a “minor aspect of Planned Parenthood’s mission” even though they recently announced that all affiliates should prepare to operate at least one abortion clinic over the course of the next two years. If abortions are so minor, why the plan for expansion? Link

It has always been my belief that our nation has lost the blessings of God because of our murder of innocents in their mothers’ wombs, and euthanizing our elderly. We are a culture of death. Yet, politicians, Tea Parties, and even our churches will not speak of these social issues which have destroyed the fabric and culture of American life and lifted the blessings of God from our nation.

In Part 12, of this series, we’ll take a look at a few of the top organizations funded by this so-called conservative, Richard Mellon Scaife, as well as his devotion and funding of Heritage Foundation.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 10

“I often warn people: Somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you, ‘There is no “I” in team.’ What you should tell them is, ‘Maybe not, but there is an “I” in independence, individuality, and integrity’.” George Carlin

Former Senator Jim DeMint was born in South Carolina in1951. He held the office of United States Representative for South Carolina’s 4th congressional district from 1999 to 2005. DeMint pledged to serve only three terms in the House, so rather than leave politics, in 2003 he announced his run for the Senate seat of outgoing Democrat Ernest Hollings in the 2004 election cycle. DeMint resigned from the Senate on January 1, 2013. When Edwin Fuelner recently retired from Heritage Foundation as president, former neo-con Senator Jim DeMint replaced him as president.

Heritage Foundation

Free Trade, Fair Tax, and Privatization

Jim DeMint is a proponent of free trade, (more jobs leaving America), and why shouldn’t he be? Remember NAFTA was proposed by Heritage Fellow, and CNP member, Richard Allen. The former Senator is also for the privatization of social security, and the Fair Tax, which would end up raising taxes on all Americans, and leading to a Constitutional Convention, despite what proponents say. Link   Those same proponents state that a Constitutional Convention would be necessary to rid us of the 16th amendment (income tax). However, we didn’t need a Constitutional Convention to rid us of the 18th amendment, we simply had another amendment, the 21st, that nullified the 18th. Nevertheless, even the risk of passing an amendment in today’s climate of communism in America is extremely dangerous to our founding document of 1787.

Eliminating Spousal Benefit of Social Security

DeMint’s Heritage Foundation is also proposing eliminating the spousal benefit of social security. Link In other words, many women choose to take their husband’s social security, rather than their own, because most men make more money in their lifetimes than do women. Rachel Greszler, entitlements policy analyst for the Heritage Foundation, said the spousal benefit for Social Security has become outdated because many women have worked long enough to get their own payments. Greszler said figures showing women make 77 cents for every dollar that men make are faulty. She contended the accurate pay disparity is between five and seven cents. I would beg to differ with her, and I’d like to see where she found her statistics. These are the kind of egregious promotions the Heritage Foundation makes. For baby boomers, this could be a devastating loss of income for surviving widows.

The Balanced Budget Amendment

In the July, 7, 2011 issue of the Wall Street Journal, then Senator Jim DeMint joined with that other bastion of neo-conservative policy, then Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine, to urge a balanced budget amendment (BBA) in an article entitled, The Only Reform That Will Restrain Spending. The title is a total lie. Of course these lawmakers want a BBA! It would legalize their unconstitutional spending. Spending is limited by the “enumerated powers” listed in the Constitution. They don’t address the cause of the problem: Congress spends where they have no constitutional authority to spend. The BBAs don’t eliminate the unconstitutional spending; and they place no limits on the amount of the unconstitutional spending. The Congress will just continue to increase taxes on the American people to “balance” their budget. Bad idea! The BBA leads to the opening of a Constitutional Convention, which would be the final death knell to the Republic. The BBA tactic for a Con-Con has been used since the 70s. See Publius Huldah’s articles on same. Link

Membership in “The Family”

DeMint is a member of Doug Coe’s secretive “The Fellowship” or “The Family,” which has such members of so-called opposite political stances as DeMint and Hillary Clinton. Link Other members include Heritage’s Edwin Meese, and former Vice President, Al Gore.  Link Again, see Constance Cumbey’s five part article entitled, “The Family, and its hijacking of Evangelicalism.”

Jeff Sharlet wrote an expose on this political and religious group, entitled, The Family. He also had an article in Harper’s Magazine, in February of 2012, about the Family, entitled, Jesus Plus Nothing.

From Sharlet’s website, it states:

Sharlet follows the story back to Abraham Vereide, an itinerant preacher who in 1935 organized a small group of businessmen sympathetic to European fascism, fusing the far right with his own polite but authoritarian faith. From that core, Vereide built an international network of fundamentalists who speak the language of establishment power, a “family” that thrives to this day. In public, they host the National Prayer Breakfast; in private they preach a gospel of “biblical capitalism,” military might, and American empire. Citing Hitler, Lenin, and Mao as model leaders, the Family’s current leader, Doug Coe, declares, “we work with power where we can, and build new power where we can’t.”

In his book The Family, Sharlet said Fellowship leader Doug Coe preached a leadership model and a personal commitment to Jesus Christ comparable to the blind devotion that Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot demanded from their followers. In one videotaped lecture series in 1989, Coe said,

“Hitler, Goebbels and Himmler were three men. Think of the immense power these three men had…. But they bound themselves together in an agreement…. Jesus said, ‘You have to put me before other people. And you have to put me before yourself.’ Hitler, that was the demand to be in the Nazi party. You have to put the Nazi party and its objectives ahead of your own life and ahead of other people.”

In the same series, Coe also compared Jesus’ teachings to the Red Guard during the Chinese Cultural Revolution:

“I’ve seen pictures of young men in the Red Guard of China…. They would bring in this young man’s mother and father, lay her on the table with a basket on the end, he would take an axe and cut her head off…. They have to put the purposes of the Red Guard ahead of the mother-father-brother-sister — their own life! That was a covenant. A pledge. That was what Jesus said.”

Networked Organizations of “The Family”

World Vision International was one of the early organizations in the network of The Family. The Family was started by Abraham Vereide in Seattle in 1935. World Vision was started in California in 1950. The headquarters of World Vision are now in little old Federal Way, just 10-15 miles south of Seattle. Here is World Vision’s 2012-990, with over a trillion dollars in holdings.

According to Amnesty International News, World Vision International has endorsed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It claims to foster opportunities to help reduce conflict levels and to contribute to the peaceful resolution of hostilities and reconciliation of disputes. They also joined the United Nations peacekeeping efforts to help those affected by civil war. World Vision also started to openly promote the international ban on land mines.

Wilberforce Foundation 2012-990 filings confirm that Wilberforce is related to and shares common management with the Fellowship Foundation.

Traditional Values Coalition uses the C Street Center of The Family for “faith-based diplomacy” in the fight against what TVC’s head, Louis P. Sheldon, calls the “Marxist/Leftist/Homosexual/Islamic coalition.”

CNP member, Sheldon was an associate of fellow CNP member, Jack Abramoff, the Republican lobbyist jailed for influence peddling. Sheldon lobbied members of the US Congress to kill the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act. Abramoff directed his client, e-Lottery, to pay $25,000 to the Traditional Values Coalition.

TVC has also been linked to the Mariana Islands worker abuse scandal. The organization was used by Abramoff to pay for the trip of then-Congressman Bob Schaffer to visit the island. The Denver Post reported that the TVC paid the $13,000 travel bill for the trip, organized by Abramoff’s lobbying firm.

Abramoff’s lobbying team would prepare questions and “factual backup” for friendly lawmakers. Trips to the island for congressmen and staff would be a key tool to “build permanent friends,” the memo said. The congressional junkets to the Mariana Islands were designed to build support in Congress among Republican lawmakers to block labor and immigration legislation for the islands, which had been found to harbor squalid working conditions and abusive labor practices.

The Oak Initiative, founded by hyper charismatic, Rick Joyner of Morningstar Ministries, has a distinctly Dominionist/7 Mountains agenda “to raise up effective leaders for all of the dominant areas of influence in the culture, including: government, business, education, arts and entertainment, family services, media, and the church.” Joyner is heavily into biblical mysticism. Link It also has a Board full of Dominionist Religious Right activists including Janet Porter, Lou Sheldon, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, Cindy Jacobs (head prophetess of the New Apostolic Reformation), Lt.Gen. W.G. “Jerry” Boykin (now VP of CNP member and UN-NGO Tony Perkin’s Family Research Council), and Marc Nuttle.

The Family and Os Hillman

The Family, aka The Fellowship, rent their C Street property where so many key legislators live, from Youth With a Mission, (YWAM). Doug Coe’s sons both work for YWAM. Here is Os Hillman’s Dominionist video that lays out The Plan to “Reclaim the 7 Mountains for the Kingdom of God.” It names Bill Bright of Campus Crusade, Francis Schaeffer of L’Abri in Lausanne, and Loren Cunningham of YWAM as sharing a common supernatural vision that started the movement.  The cross links with Doug Coe’s Family/Fellowship and the CNP are unmistakable. Please note however, that this video is put up by Dominionist, Os Hillman, who helped launch the 7 mountains movement. Link

I’ve been told by researcher and writer, Sarah Leslie, that this story, regarding the vision of Bright and Cunningham, was promulgated by Os Hillman, and that had Bill Bright actually had this vision, everyone at Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) would have known about it. One of the authors of the following articles exposing this fabricated story actually worked for CCC at the time. See these articles, Seven Apostolic Spheres, Neo-Kuyperian Spheres, and Who Invented Dominionism.

And here is a letter from Os Hillman and guess where he just came from?!top

Tuesday, May 20 2014Dear I have just returned from Washington, DC. I attended the Council on National Policy (CNP) meeting, a gathering of 400 of the top national political conservative leaders in America. I was invited by a leader in the organization as a guest. I returned with hope for America by what others are doing that are in the trenches, fighting for America’s values, yet very sober that we are in a critical period in our nation. There are many change agents in this group. I met many in top leadership – congressmen, senators, judicial watchdogs, state representatives, and those in business. Met with president of Focus on the Family (Tom Minnery) on Public Policy, Gary Bauer, Jeff Johnson, CEO National Religious Broadcasters, and many others. Spoke briefly at a 30 person special luncheon for a group called Conservatives of Faith on the topic of using the 7 cultural mountains as a strategy for impacting our nation and the vision of Renewal of America. Bob Williamson (Renewal of America) and I had many strategic meetings sharing our vision to raise up 100 million Christians to pray, unify and stand in the gap for our nation. Some of the speakers at CNP were Newt Gingrich, George Barna, John Fund, National Review Columnist/American Spectator, Mark Levine (conservative radio talk show personality), Thomas Fitton, President, Judicial Watch, Inc and many, many others (this man discovered the latest Bengahzi email that led to special committee being formed). One group we are beginning to work with is the Congressional Prayer Caucus made up of Congressmen who gather to pray in room 219 at the Capitol before every vote. This caucus is being spread to state governments, now 14 established. They are partnering with our Renewal of America initiative assisting with the governmental center of influence board. There were many reports on what is taking place in our nation. The man who discovered the email that shows the whole Bengahzi talking points scandal now traces back to the White House core leadership shared in depth about what is taking place and how the White House is stonewalling the entire discovery process. They have to file lawsuits to get what they want. He told us to expect more things to come. He is also involved in the IRS discovery process and told us to expect more to come from that too. Leadership is optimistic that more conservatives will come into office in the midterms elections. George Barna spoke to us and gave us a snapshot of how the American Dream is radically changing. George Barna, American Culture & Faith Institute 2014 research We are at a pivotal point in American history The American dream was once:

  • Work hard
  • Own a home
  • Fulfill marriage and family life
  • Take advantage of opportunities
  • Practice your faith of choice
  • Balance freedom and responsibility

Today there is a new dream taking place:

  • Work enough to get by
  • Customized family experience
  • Be spiritual but not religious
  • Demand freedom and rights
  • Entitled to personalized moral code
  • Situational truth
  • Advocate the new virtues
  • Happiness: comfort, convenience choices, connections, experiences
  • Unimaginable shift in our values

(This is not what the founding fathers envisioned). He did a survey among conservatives and found their attitudes as follows:

  • 84% concerned about the future
  • 99% country is headed in wrong direction
  • 99% govt is doing too much
  • 90% angry about the state of America
  • 94% morals and values are declining
  • 71% ready to engage in creating significant change

Many of our core foundations are eroding in America because of the most liberal president in the history of this nation. Yet, we know that the buck stops with us and we must ask for God’s mercy on our nation. We are in a process of judgment right now; it remains to be seen the level of judgment we will experience. God gives a nation a leader that mirrors the moral condition of the people. We must engage the body of Christ to pray, humble ourselves and engage in the battle for righteousness in our nation. Thanks for standing in the gap with me for our nation.

God bless you, Os

A Council for National Policy meeting! So, we have the Dominionists from Doug Coe’s The Family, mixed in with the 7 Mountain Mandate Dominionists, all joining with the entire political neo-con Trotskyite right in the Council for National Policy. And there’s Jim DeMint right in the middle of it.

In Part 11, we’ll look at Heritage’s former Vice Chairman and benefactor, Richard Mellon Scaife.
