Constitutional Convention Call Redux – Part 1

“I have also repeatedly given my opinion that there is no effective way to limit or muzzle the actions of a Constitution Convention. The Convention could make its own rules and set its own agenda. Congressmen might try to limit the Convention to one amendment or to one issue, but there is no way to assure that the Convention would obey it.” -Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Warren E. Burger

“Having witnessed the difficulties and dangers experienced by the first Convention, I would tremble for the result of the second.” -James Madison, Father of the Constitution and fourth President of the United States

“All men having power ought to be distrusted to a certain degree.” James Madison, speech at the Constitutional Convention, July 11, 1787

We could lose our God given rights, secured by the 1787 Constitution if a new call for a Con-Con is successful. The Constitution is about the specific powers we delegated to the federal government. Our rights pre-date and pre-exist the Constitution. The sole purpose of civil government is to secure those rights. Knowing what is waiting in the wings, if we lose this Constitution, all will finally be lost, and the war for our freedoms would be over. If you never read another one of my articles, I beg you to read and disseminate this one. Then contact your state legislators and find out where your state stands regarding a call for a Constitutional Convention.

Thirty Years Ago

In the early 1980’s, we did not have home computers, lap tops, or IPADs; neither did we have unlimited long-distance telephone rates. We only had our Fax machines and our telephones. Yet, the nation’s patriotic groups, and the Kitchen Militia gals, worked tirelessly to stave off a call for another Constitutional Convention. We knew the dangers, we knew the precedents, and we knew what was waiting in the wings to replace the Constitution given to us by honorable men. We knew that if we lost our Constitution and Bill of Rights, that the great experiment in freedom and liberty would be lost forever.

We worked to inform people of what a new Constitutional Convention would bode for America. Thirty-two of the necessary 34 states needed to call a new Con-Con had petitioned the Congress for the purpose of proposing a Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA).

(An amendment to the Constitution is first proposed by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a Constitutional Convention called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures. None of the 27 amendments to the Constitution have been proposed by Constitutional Convention. This is the way we’ve ratified amendments since the Bill of Rights. It is then sent to the states for their votes. If 38 of the states ratify the amendment, it will be added to the Constitution. The danger in the ratifying process is that Congress decides whether it will be ratified by the legislators of 38 states, or by special Ratifying Conventions. As well, the legislators who called for the Convention can be totally circumvented – having no voice in the outcome, thus opening a Pandora’s Box and powerless to close it.)

Thirteen states finally recalled their calls; Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Idaho, Utah, North Dakota, Arizona, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and in 2010, Tennessee. Link Now some are again calling for a Con-Con.

Our Constitution is still a barrier to the globalists, and they hate this document. The elite have always wanted to destroy it because, as Patrick Henry said, The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.” The One Worlders have a new constitution waiting in the wings which will grant us privileges by the state. The distinctive characteristic of our Constitution is that it created a federal government of only limited, defined, and enumerated powers! We must focus on the limited powers we delegated instead of our “rights.” Rights pre-date and pre-exist the Constitution. Only with this conception of rights can we avoid having black-robed federal judges determine the scope and extent of our rights.

We have elected officials in local, state, and federal governments who have no problem trampling our Constitution. We have heard the cries from the right and left for a BBA via an Article V Constitutional Convention. The Constitution LIMITS what the federal government is allowed to spend with taxpayer dollars. It is so limited that the funding of outrageous items today would fill an encyclopedia. Our Constitution does not authorize foreign aid, or museums about rock stars, or studying of the blue lizard, or Chinese prostitutes, or unconstitutional wars, etc., etc., ad nauseam. We have a majority of Republicans in congress today…so why in heaven’s name aren’t they balancing the budget now without an amendment?

Of course, unknown to most of the electorate, the BBA would actually legalize the unconstitutional spending the Congress has been doing for decades. See Publius Huldah’s most important article “Why the Balanced Budget Amendment is a Hoax and a Deadly Trap.”

Forty-five Republican Senators and the majority of Republican Representatives absolutely love the BBA and desire its passage, including Rand Paul. They talk openly about it to the dumbed down electorate, never telling us that it would LEGALIZE UNCONSTITUTIONAL SPENDING. This would give Congress a free hand to spend whatever they want to on any frivolous item that floats past their desks. The Constitution limits CONGRESS alone to the spending of money!

The BBA will usher in a totalitarian dictatorship. Pursuant to the unconstitutional Budget Act of 1921, the President has been preparing the budget. Since the Budget Act is unconstitutional, the President’s preparation of the budget has been likewise unconstitutional. Section 3 of the BBA would legalize what is now unconstitutional and unlawful, but Section 3 of the BBA does more than merely legalize the unlawful. It actually transfers the Constitutional power to make the appropriations and to determine taxes to the President. Congress will simply become a rubber stamp.  Senate bill from 112th Congress. House bill from 113th Congress.

Former Senator Jim DeMint, and Senator Mike Lee, (neo-cons) are determined to jam this down our throats along with Congressional representatives like Michelle Bachmann. Don’t tell me they don’t understand what they’re doing, because all of them love the out-of-control spending and the BBA would legalize it. In the July 7, 2011, WSJ, Jim DeMint joined with that bastion of conservative politics, Maine’s Senator Olympia Snowe, to push the BBA, stating it is The Only Reform That Will Restrain Spending. Liars and thieves!

The 1787 Convention

In 1787, delegates gathered in a Conference of States (not a Constitutional Convention) to discuss problems with interstate commerce. They were given strict instructions by the Congress that they were to meet only for “the sole and express purpose of revising the Articles of Confederation.” Eleven of the twelve states present, specifically instructed their delegates to discuss nothing more than the commerce issue.

Once convened, the delegates of the twelve states, formed a “committee of the whole” (chaired by the elected George Washington, President of the Conference), took a vote, and declared the Articles of Confederation null and void! For five months they debated behind closed doors and emerged with an entirely new form of government. Our 1787 Constitution was the result. The Conference of the States had become a runaway Constitutional Convention! It happened then, and we are certain it will happen again if we don’t stop the process. The precedent was set.

An Article V Constitutional Convention today would undoubtedly mutate the same way the 1787 “Conference of States” mutated into a Constitutional Convention. A Constitutional Convention makes its own rules, cannot be limited, and could indeed throw out the entire structure, including the narrowly defined, limited and enumerated powers granted the federal government, just like the framers threw out the Articles of Confederation in 1787! Remember, the Bill of Rights tells the federal government what it CANNOT do!

About 50 of the 55 delegates at the Constitutional Convention were practicing Christians, so the Constitution they wrote was rooted squarely in the Word of God and the Ten Commandments. It maximized individual liberty while at the same time limiting government power.   There are absolutely no Constitutional guarantees that the legal precedent of the first Convention will not be repeated by the second one, the result being a new Constitution. However, you can rest assured that this one will not be from Godly Christian men. Back in the early 80s, many of the states that called for a one-item Convention like the BBA, wrote limiting language into their calls, (thinking they could indeed control the agenda, and stating they would secede from the Convention if it overstepped the bounds). Nevertheless, the precedent of the first Convention is the basis for American jurisprudence. A Con-Con is not just the amendment that is at issue. The entire document is taken down from its pedestal and is put on the table and people go to work on it, tearing it apart. There are NO RULES!

As well, the Unbridled Power of the delegates to a Con-Con has been acknowledged several times by various State Supreme Courts, and a letter from former U.S. Chief Justice Warren Burger confirms the danger. In his letter Justice Burger said:

” . . . there is no effective way to limit or muzzle the actions of a Constitutional Convention. The convention could make its own rules and set its own agenda. . . After a convention is convened, it will be too late to stop the convention if we don’t like its agenda.”

James Madison is the “Father” of our Constitution. At the Constitutional Convention of 1787, James Madison proposed the plan to divide the central government into three branches. He discovered this model of government from the Perfect Governor, as he read Isaiah 33:22; “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us.” (Judicial, Legislative, Executive)

There were delegates from twelve of the thirteen states in attendance at the original 1787 Convention. Rhode Island did not send delegates. The most notable statesmen present were Washington, Franklin, Madison, and Hamilton, all of whom signed the final Constitution. Ultimately, 39 of the original 55 delegates ended up signing, but it is likely that none were completely satisfied. Their views were summed up by Benjamin Franklin, who said,

“There are several parts of this Constitution which I do not at present approve, but I am not sure I shall never approve them. … I doubt too whether any other Convention we can obtain, may be able to make a better Constitution. … It therefore astonishes me, Sir, to find this system approaching so near to perfection as it does; and I think it will astonish our enemies…”

The names of several prominent Founders are notable for their not having participated in the Constitutional Convention. Thomas Jefferson was abroad, serving as the minister to France (nonetheless, Jefferson, in a letter to John Adams, would describe the delegates approvingly as a gathering of “demi-gods”). Jefferson later stated that had he been present at the Convention, he would have urged term limits for politicians. John Adams was in Britain, serving as minister to that country, but he wrote home to encourage the delegates. Patrick Henry refused to participate because he “smelt a rat in Philadelphia, tending toward the monarchy.” Also absent were John Hancock and Samuel Adams. Many of the states’ older and more experienced leaders may have simply been too busy with the local affairs of their states to attend the Convention, which had originally been planned to strengthen the existing Articles of Confederation, not to write a Constitution for a completely new national government.

Now, think about the delegates and leaders of the 1787 Constitutional Convention. They were men of letters, with integrity, honor, and love of liberty and freedom. The Founders of America were patriots, visionaries, revolutionaries, world shakers, and nation builders. They joined together to protect America’s citizens from an over reaching, all powerful, centralized federal government. Although imperfect men, they were statesmen who understood government needed to be chained to protect the people.

Can you imagine the delegates we would get from the states today? It would be the same Congress which gave us a $16 trillion plus debt, which won’t stand up to Obama, that passed the Patriot Act, the NDAA, and all the other egregious bills they’ve signed on to. Can you see the delight of the globalists in destroying the Constitution that binds them? Can you imagine today’s Washington D.C. leaders deciding how to change our Constitution? I tremble at the very thought.

Who is behind the push for a Con-Con call today? What is the Compact for America? Who is ALEC? Who was Henry Hazlitt and Rexford Tugwell? What new Constitution is waiting in the wings, written by the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations? We will answer these questions in subsequent articles.

Finally, a special thank you to my friend, retired attorney, Publius Huldah, for her help with this article.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 14

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29

“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” Mark Twain

Heritage Foundation is extremely well funded. The below article from The Hill gives an idea of the monies which pass through this Foundation:

Heritage’s expenses totaled $80 million last year compared to $82 million in 2012. DeMint received $614,000 in compensation in 2013 from Heritage, including his $380,000 base salary and a $200,000 bonus, according to the tax document. (That’s quite a bit more than his $174,000 as a senator.) Edwin Feulner Jr., the organization’s outgoing president who led Heritage for 36 years, received $3.5 million in compensation in 2013, a figure that could raise eyebrows among the think tank’s critics. Feulner earned a 2013 base salary of $181,000 and a $700,000 bonus for his service as the think tank’s president in 2012. He also received $2.52 million from a deferred compensation plan into which he contributed $865,000 from 1980 to 2006. The plan accrued $1.66 million in investment earnings. He continues to serve as chairman of Heritage’s Asian Studies Center. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell’s (Ky.) wife, Elaine Chao, who served as secretary of Labor under former President George W. Bush, received $267,000 as a distinguished fellow at Heritage.”

This is what your $25.00 per month donation funds….big salaries!

Heritage’s Asian Studies Center

In 1983, together with Dr. Edwin J. Feulner, Jr., CNP member, Richard V. Allen founded the Heritage Foundation‘s Asian Studies Center, (note who their guest speakers have been). Allen was the previous chairman of the Center, but now it is headed by Feulner.

With a “long history of receiving large donations from overseas,” Heritage continued to rake in a minimum of several hundred thousand dollars from Taiwan and South Korea each year through the 1990s, according to Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting. Link

In the autumn of 1988, the South Korean National Assembly uncovered a document revealing that Korean intelligence secretly gave $2.2 million to the Heritage Foundation during the early 1980s. In turn, Heritage established an Asian Studies Center. (The Coors Connection by Russ Bellant, page 3-6). There was also a connection between Heritage and the Rev. Sun Myung Moon (founder of the “Moonies” as well as of the Washington Times). This first appeared in a 1975 congressional investigation on the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA) activities in the US. The report noted, “In 1975, Ed Feulner … was introduced to KCIA station chief Kim Yung Hwan by Neil Salonen and Dan Feffernan of the Freedom Leadership foundation”. Salonen was head of Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church in the United States. The Freedom Leadership Foundation (FLF), a political arm of Moon’s Unification network, was linked to the World Anti-Communist League.(Again see Russ Bellant’s The Coors Connection, page 3-6).

Heritage officials “categorically deny” the accusation that the organization received money from Korean intelligence. In 1995, Heritage’s annual report did include a $400,000 grant from Samsung, a Korean company. The Wall Street Journal also reported that between 1993 and 1996, Heritage received almost $1 million from the Korea Foundation, which reportedly “serves as a direct conduit of money from the South Korean government.

Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis’s gift to Heritage

davisThe Davis’s

Just recently Heritage received a gift of $26 million. Following decades of strong support, the family of the late Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis announced that they have made a $26 million gift to advance the work and mission of the Davis Institute for International Studies at The Heritage Foundation. Shelby Cullom Davis was a member of Heritage’s board of trustees from 1979 to 1992.

Like Heritage accepting $200,000 from former CFR Chairman Peter G. Peterson’s Foundation to participate in a forum on how to address the fiscal cliff, the gift from the Davis family is telling. The late Shelby Cullom Davis was an early and influential backer of Heritage’s mission, and his support led to the publication of Mandate for Leadership, which became a blueprint for President Reagan’s first term in office. Link

Shelby Cullom Davis (April 1, 1909 – May 26, 1994) was an American investment banker, philanthropist, and former United States Ambassador to Switzerland hailing from the state of New York. He served as the American envoy in Bern under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford from 1969 to 1975. His wife Kathryn Wasserman Davis was an American philanthropist, scholar of world affairs, and longtime promoter of women’s rights through the League of Women’s Voters as well as Planned Parenthood. She was committed to engaging local communities, particularly regarding the environment on the Hudson River and Maine coast, and also concerned with access to high-quality education meaning global education initiatives. Davis was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Council of American Ambassadors, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Visiting Committee of the Davis Center at Harvard. She was a Wellesley College trustee for 18 years. In addition, she served as a distinguished trustee at the United World College-USA, an honorary trustee at the Heritage Foundation, trustee emerita at The Youth Foundation, on the advisory board of Seeds of Peace, and as a decades-long officer and trustee of the Women’s National Republican Club.

The Koch Brothers

 koch-brothersDavid and Charles Koch

The Koch brothers (pronounced “Coke”) — David and Charles — are the right-wing billionaire co-owners of Koch Industries. As two of the richest people in the world, they are key funders of the right-wing infrastructure, including the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and the State Policy Network (SPN), which are mini-Heritages in each state. Key articles on the Kochs include: Koch Brothers, Koch Industries, Americans for Prosperity, and Freedom Partners (who funds the neo-con Trotskyite Tea Party Patriots who are pushing a Constitutional Convention).

David Koch is on the board of Trustees of Rockefeller University. He is also on the board of Earthwatch Institute, an environmental, sustainability, Agenda 21 group. See this map of Koch’s many connections. David Koch also supports gay marriage and stem-cell research.   He is also on the board of the globalist new age Aspen Institute formerly headed by new age environmentalist Maurice Strong. Strong, Club of Rome member, devout Bahai, founder and first Secretary General of United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), has been the driving force behind the birth and imposition of UN Agenda 21. While Strong chaired the Earth Summit, outside his wife Hanne and 300 followers called the Wisdom-Keepers, continuously beat drums, chanted prayers to Gaia, in order to “establish and hold the energy field” for the duration of the summit. You can view actual footage of these ceremonies on youtube.

Strong has membership in the following organizations, but this does not include the entire list:

  •  Senior Advisor to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan   Senior Advisor to World Bank President James Wolfensohn  Chairman of the Earth Council  Chairman of the World Resources Institute  Co-Chairman of the Council of the World Economic Forum  member of Toyota’s International Advisory Board
  • member of the Futurist Society (which Newt Gingrich also belongs to as well as Newt’s long time friends Alvin and Heidi Toffler).

The Koch brothers affiliations are both left and right. The Heritage Foundation has received funding from organizations with connections to the Koch brothers. In 2012, the Heritage Foundation received $650,000 from the Claude R. Lambe Foundation, which was one of the Koch Family Foundations before it closed in 2013. The Lambe Foundation contributed at least $4.8 million to the Heritage Foundation between 1998 and 2012.

Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index is an annual economic competitiveness study authored by economist Dr. Arthur Laffer, Stephen Moore, chief economist at the Heritage Foundation, and Jonathan Williams, Director of the Tax and Fiscal Policy Task Force at the American Legislative Exchange Council. Until recently, little information was available about the funders of Rich States, Poor States, but tucked in a cache of ALEC internal documents obtained by the Guardian in December, 2013, was a spreadsheet (PDF pg. 40) that showed for the first time that Rich States, Poor States is funded by the Kochs’ Claude Lambe Foundation, as well as the Searle Freedom Trust.

The Claude R. Lambe Charitable Foundation (CRLF) is one of three Koch Family Foundations; this one was controlled by Charles Koch. He created the foundation in Wichita in the early 1980s with funds from the estate of his friend Claude Lambe. For the past three decades, CRLF has often spent millions annually to provide a regular infusion of cash for groups pushing the agenda favored by Koch. This includes millions of dollars, cumulatively, provided to the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), the Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society and some state-based think tanks operating under the State Policy Network (SPN) banner.

The Searle Freedom Trust, was founded by David Searle, who made millions from aspartame marketed as NutraSweet. Both foundations are major funders of the neo-con rightwing which includes ALEC and the Heritage State Policy Network, 64 state-based think tanks that produce academic reports, talking points and more to advance ALEC’s agenda, and their promotion of a Constitutional Convention. Link

The Koch family-controlled Claude R. Lambe Foundation (CRLF) was dissolved in 2013, further limiting what little is publicly known of which groups receive money controlled or directed by Charles and David Koch and their operatives. As seems likely, if the Koch brothers, both individually and through Koch Industries, are making similar grants elsewhere, then the size and scope of their influence has been significantly underestimated. The likely impact of CRLF’s closing, even if what it demonstrates, is just the tip of a very large iceberg, will be that the public knows even less about the Koch brothers’ political spending. The foundation closed by transferring more than $2 million to an unspecified “donor-advised fund” within the Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund, to be distributed at the direction of whomever controls that donor-advised fund.

The National Journal also reported in September 2013 that David Koch himself had provided a $850,000 personal check to the Americans for Prosperity Foundation in 2003. Similarly, CMD reported that David Koch provided the Massachusetts SPN think tank Pioneer Institute, with a $125,000 personal check in 2007. Both of these documents were public, although unexpectedly so.

In recent years, the Heritage Foundation has also received funding from Donors Trust and Donors Capital Fund, including $53,300 in 2010 and $69,850 in 2012. The Koch brothers have donated millions of dollars to Donors Trust through the Knowledge and Progress Fund, and possibly other vehicles.

Jimmy Swaggart Ministries Update

swaggartJimmy Swaggart

In Part 4 of this series we discussed Tim LaHaye as one of the founders of the Council for National Policy. In that article I stated,

Other so-called evangelicals that served with LaHaye at CRF as executive committee and/or advisory board members were CNP charter member, Dominionist Don Wildmon, founder and president of the social activist American Family Association; Point Of View nationwide radio talk show host, CNP charter member, Marlin Maddoux, (deceased); CNP member, James Robison; charter CNP member, D. James Kennedy, author and pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, (deceased); Paul Crouch, TBN Network’s infamous founder; Hal Lindsey and Jimmy Swaggart. This certainly is an agenda of social activism which makes for strange ecumenical bedfellows.”

I received an email from the attorney for Jimmy Swaggart Ministries stating Jimmy had never been involved with Sun Myung Moon or Dominionism, and had, in fact, exposed same. Researcher Sarah Leslie, who had been a guest on Francis Swaggart’s show (Francis and Friends) many times between 2000-2005 told me had discussed these very subjects on air.

The attorney asked me where I found the information and wanted me to retract Swaggart’s name from my statement. I removed Swaggart’s name from Part 4 of this series, and I explained to the attorney that the information is on many valid websites and to do her own research. However, my thanks goes to another researcher who reminded me that the statement is also on page 69 in Sara Diamond’s book, Spiritual Warfare. Since I have the book, I pulled it off my library shelf, and there was the original statement.

Sara Diamond is the author of four books that study and expose the agenda and tactics of the American political neo-conservative rightwing. She has her PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley as well as her J.D. from Hastings College of Law.

The Bancroft Library at U.C. Berkeley maintains the Sara Diamond Collection on the U.S. Right, an archive of the materials she assembled about the neo-conservative movement in the United States. University publications have described it as one of the largest collections of its type in the country.

Earlier researchers into the Moon/Dominion right may have thought all televangelists were involved, yet some were not. Nevertheless, I have found Sara Diamond’s books to be well documented and referenced, and would suggest Swaggart Ministries contact Sara Diamond as she is the original and documented source of my statements in Part 4 of this series.

In Part 15 of this series, we’ll take a look at the cultist Sun Myung Moon’s connection to the Council for National Policy and the Heritage Foundation.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 13

“Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work within the system.” (Rules for Radicals)

It is impossible to cover all the groups funded by Richard Mellon Scaife over a period of the last 50 years. So I’ve chosen only those organizations most people are familiar with, and those who are more prominent because of their donor’s largess.

Newsmax

The NewsMax.com website launched on September 16, 1998, with Christopher Ruddy serving as columnist and editor-in-chief. NewsMax’s founders include Kevin Timpy, Bruce Lonic, Lord William Rees-Mogg, National Taxpayer’s Union founder, James Dale Davidson, who for decades has promoted a Constitutional Convention, Admiral Thomas Moorer, Arnaud de Borchgrave, CFR member and Sun Myung Moon employee (deceased), and Michael Ruff. It’s Board members include former Secretary of State General and CFR member, Alexander Haig (deceased); former publisher of Forbes magazine, Jeff Cunningham; financial consultant, Alvin Hirsch; and a former executive of IBM Corporation, Robert Lohman.

In addition to the web site, the company publishes a monthly magazine, also called Newsmax. Newsmax is a competitor to WND and WJC, and was also heavily funded by Dick Scaife. Ruddy is the President, but Scaife owns 7.2% of the magazine.

An interesting aside is that Ruddy earned a master’s degree in public policy from the Fabian socialist London School of Economics, so he and Edwin Feulner have much in common. Since 1996, Ruddy has been Media Fellow at the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace at Stanford University. Hoover Institute has been deeply involved in not only NAFTA, but promotion of Direct Instruction (B.F. Skinner) after the late distinguished historian, Antony Sutton, delivered on his contract with Hoover Institute to research and write his many books on U.S. aid to the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. Ruddy is in good company at Hoover Institute with CFR members Condoleezza Rice, and George Schultz, along with CNP member and Heritage board member Edwin Meese, NAFTA’s Richard Allen, and education change agent, Chester Finn.

Ruddy also served as a representative on the U.S. delegation headed by Senators Joseph Lieberman and Lindsey Graham to the NATO 44th Munich Security Conference.

American Enterprise Institute

AEI grew out of the American Enterprise Association (AEA), which was founded in 1938 by a group of New York businessmen led by Lewis H. Brown. AEI’s founders included executives from Eli Lilly, General Mills, Bristol-Myers, Chemical Bank, Chrysler, and Paine Webber. To this day, AEA’s board is composed of top leaders from major business and financial firms.

In 1954, William J. Baroody, Sr., became executive vice president of the association and changed its name to AEI. The institute is often cited as a right-leaning counterpart to the left-leaning Brookings Institution. However, the two entities have often collaborated: from 1998 to 2008, they co-sponsored the AEI-Brookings Joint Center for Regulatory Studies (now housed solely at AEI), and in 2006, they launched the AEI-Brookings Election Reform Project.    So  crawling in bed with the enemy is obviously not a problem for AEI. AEI is the most prominent think tank associated with American neoconservatism, in both the domestic and international policy arenas. Former Trotskyite and neo-conservative, Irving Kristol, widely considered a father of neo-conservatism with William F. Buckley, was a senior fellow at AEI (arriving from the Congress for Cultural Freedom, following the widespread revelation of the group’s CIA funding – Link). Many prominent neoconservatives—including Democrat CFR/TC/UN Ambassador, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Democrat Ben Wattenberg, and Democrat,Joshua Muravchik. Muravchik was National Chairman of the Young People’s Socialist League (YPSL) from 1968 to 1973, and supported the majority of the Socialist Party of America in renaming the organization to Social Democrats, USA. These people spent the bulk of their careers at AEI.

AEI’s board is chaired by Tully Friedman. Current notable trustees include Arthur C. Brooks, who published a survey and analysis of “Gross National Happiness,” which we hear about as it relates to UN Agenda 21 Link. Then there’s Gordon Binder, former managing director and CEO of Amgen; former vice president Dick Cheney; and Daniel D’Aniello, cofounder of The Carlyle Group. Harlan Crow, is chairman and CEO of Crow Holdings, and a founding member of Club for Growth. Crow is also a close friend of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who was Monsanto’s corporate lawyer. Link Crow is a member of the all-male Bohemian Club, and as early as 1997 had hosted Thomas as a guest at the group’s annual summer encampment: the Bohemian Grove.

Then there’s the Peter G. Peterson Foundation who gave a grant to AEI. And just who is Peterson? He’s the chairman emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations and founder and chairman of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. He was also the former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York between 2000 and 2004. Remember too, Peterson is a partner with the Scaife funded Club for Growth.

In an editorial in Newsweek, Pete Peterson describes his inspiration for starting the Foundation, and his goals:

“So I started looking at the lives of other billionaires. Almost all the ones I most admired were major philanthropists: Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Mike Bloomberg, George Soros, Eli Broad—each with a passion to do good, each getting so much pleasure from giving their money away. I decided that’s what I wanted to do. But to which worthy cause would I direct my money?”

Guess who else the Peter G. Peterson Foundation gave a grant to? None other than the Heritage Foundation. The Peterson Foundation provided grants to six leading think tanks in 2011 to develop comprehensive proposals to address the nation’s long-term fiscal challenges. Link

Also on the board of AEI is Raymond Gilmartin, retired chairman and CEO of Merck & Co. who was director during the Vioxx scandal and sat on the board of Microsoft as well. And don’t forget their infamous Gardasil vaccine.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supported AEI’s education policy studies headed by Frederick M. Hess who authored reports and other education projects and whose working group includes Washington, D.C. schools chancellor Michelle Rhee and Michael Feinberg, the cofounder of KIPP.

Scaife has funded AEI since 1963. Unbelievably, in 1964. he escorted Barry Goldwater on the Scaife family airplane to the Bohemian Grove retreat, the boozy and confidential gathering of neo-conservative, mostly wealthy men. Link

Other Scaife Funded Organizations

Among other right-wing organizations substantially funded by Scaife, besides Heritage Foundation, and the American Enterprise Institute, are CNP member, Larry Klayman’s, Judicial Watch; (Judicial Watch is now headed by Tom Fitton) the Cato Institute; FreedomWorks (originally founded by CNP member and pro-amnesty supporter, Dick Armey); the American Legislative Exchange Council (see part 7); the Hudson Institute (2012-990); the Manhattan Institute for Public Policy (2012-990) (founded by Reagan’s CIA Director, William Casey, and an associate member of the State Policy Network which is a mini Heritage); CNP member, Brent Bozell’s Media Research Center (2012-990); James Dale Davidson‘s pro-Constitutional Convention, National Taxpayer’s Union (2012-990), Reason Foundation (2013-990), and the University of Chicago. Most of the above groups and foundations also received donations from the David Koch Charitable Foundation.

Scaife also gave to GOPAC, the political fund that helped make third waver, Newt Gingrich speaker in 1994. Gingrich says Scaife’s money laid the basis for modern conservatism (read that neo-conservative corporate fascism). And his money still flows, but some of these stats are from the mid 90s:

  • To the Heritage Foundation alone, $23 million between 1985-2010.
  • $1.22 million to the American Enterprise Institute ($9 million).
  • $1.40 million to Stanford University’s Hoover Institution.
  • $325,000 to the Cato Institute.
  • $575,000 to the Citizens for a Sound Economy, among others
  • The Free Congress Foundation, which used to run a conservative cable channel, received $1.9 million from 1994 to 1996.
  • Accuracy in Media got $675,000.

Scaife gave nearly $13 million over the last 36 years to Pepperdine University alone. He also donated enormous sums to Columbia, Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne, George Mason, John Hopkins, MIT, NYU, Rochester, Smith College, Southwest Missouri State, Stanford, Tufts, University of Chicago, U of Pittsburgh, U of South Carolina and U of Virginia. Most of these departments and chairs do not exist on scholarly merit or academic trends. Corporate America purchases them.

Later, he supported such varied conservative and libertarian organizations as:

By 1998 his foundations were listed among donors to over 100 such groups, to which he had disbursed some $340 million by 2002.

Scaife is identified with his contributions to neo-conservative and libertarian causes. However, he has also supported policy research groups which are not explicitly conservative, such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the National Endowment for Democracy, and the Foreign Policy Research Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, among others.

Scaife has also been a major donor to abortion rights advocates, including Planned Parenthood, giving “millions” to the organization. His mother, Sarah Scaife used to have Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, over to her house for tea. Needless to say, both Scaife and his sister Cordelia heavily funded Planned Parenthood.

Scaife’s Death

Here is the May, 2014, transcript of Glenn Beck’s tribute to his friend, Richard Mellon Scaife. Beck had spoken to him on the phone and found out he had been diagnosed with untreatable cancer, so he went to spend some time with him.

With the huge amount of funds available to Richard Mellon Scaife, it is a shame he funded those who were in bed with the left, without doing the research necessary to know just exactly what his money was accomplishing, or maybe he did. As a strong believer in tax funding of Planned Parenthood, one could never call Scaife an old-right conservative like Barry Goldwater. The Charlotte Observer said in 2003 that Dick Scaife had contributed to Children Requiring a Caring Community (now Project Prevention), which pays people addicted to drugs to be sterilized or receive long-term contraception. Link   Needless to say, Richard Mellon Scaife was not really a friend to old right conservatives.

The murder of 60 million innocent babies in their mothers’ wombs, and the euthanasia of our elderly in their last days, most certainly has lifted the blessing of God on America that existed for so many decades.   Remember God’s instruction through Moses in Deuteronomy where He said, “Choose Life!” Neoconservative Scaife certainly didn’t heed this warning.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 12

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Ephesians 5:11-13

Richard Mellon Scaife’s funding activities actually began in 1962, when he gave several grants to various organizations, including the American Bar Association’s Fund for Public Education allegedly for “education against communism.” Of course, the American Bar Association is funded by quislings like Bill Gates, Apple, Carnegie Foundation and all the other usual suspects, and they are supporting and promoting Bush 41’s ‘Rule of Law‘ for world government based on sustainability. Can you say fascism? Link. “Education against communism,” is a joke with these NWO funders. Check out the American Bar Association’s very edited article from their interview with Agenda 21 expert, Rosa Koire, and I’m sure you’ll get the picture of just who Scaife was funding! Here is Rosa’s actual taped interview, much of which was deleted and skewed by the interviewer.

scaife 2

The total of Richard Mellon Scaife’s giving—to neo-conservatives as well as many other beneficiaries—exceeds $600 million, or $1.4 billion in current dollars, much more than any previous estimate.

Let’s take a look at a few of the top organizations this so-called “conservative,” Richard Mellon Scaife, has funded both past and present.

Personal Funding

According to campaignmoney.com, from 1999 through 2006, Scaife has (as his personal donations), under the name “R. Scaife,” made 10 contributions of over $200 to political campaigns, for a total of $19,000. Under the name “R.M. Scaife” he made 4 donations, for a total of $22,000. Under the name Richard Scaife, he made 23 donations over this period, for a total of $142,904. Besides donations to the Republican National Committee and various political campaigns such as Santorum 2000 and the Santorum Victory Committee for neo-con, Rick Santorum, he has also supported Political Action Committees such as the Pro-Growth Action Team, the Free Congress PAC (formerly: Committee For the Survival Of a Free Congress, which was founded by Paul Weyrich), and the Club For Growth Inc. PAC. His various foundations make much larger contributions. Let’s take a look at Club For Growth…

Club for Growth

Stephen Moore was the founder of Club for Growth, and he is now chief economist at the Heritage Foundation and was the former Wall Street Journal editorial writer who championed tax cuts. WSJ is owned by CFR member Rupert Murdoch and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who owns 7%. Moore has been paid to promote policies for the Koch funded Americans for Prosperity (AFP), owned by David Koch, who is a member of the globalist Aspen Institute. Please see my 2011 article on AFP. Aspen Institute’s former director was none other than Maurice Strong, of UN Agenda 21 fame. Moore is also an American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) “scholar” as of 2011. On August 4th, 2011, he spoke at a Shell Oil-sponsored plenary session of the 38th Annual ALEC Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, along with fellow ALEC “scholar” Arthur B. Laffer.

Club for Growth’s partners and allies include the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. Peterson is chairman emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations and former chairman of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. Another ally is the US Chamber of Commerce, who is so behind the invasion of illegal aliens on our southern borders. Link Link See Erica Carle’s short three-part article, “Who is in Charge of the New World Order?” about the Chamber of Commerce.

Joseph Farah and Western Journalism Center

Farah

Most every conservative with a computer knows of CNP member Joseph Farah’s World Net Daily, but not everyone knows that originally, Joe Farah founded Western Journalism Center (WJC) after having worked for a short time for one of Richard Scaife’s newspapers. Farah worked for six years as executive news editor at the Los Angeles Herald Examiner. Then, in July of 1990, Farah became editor of the Sacramento Union after Richard Mellon Scaife had sold it to Daniel Benvenuti Jr. and David Kassis. The paper continued to lose money. After leaving the Sacramento Union in 1991, Joseph Farah and former Union publisher, James Smith, founded the Western Journalism Center — under whose aegis Farah later founded World Net Daily. Farah apparently now fully owns WJC.

In 1994-1995, during the Clinton years, WJC accepted $330,000 in donations from then-Clinton-hater, Richard Mellon Scaife. The funds came from a Scaife controlled foundation. Most likely this was done in the effort to gain support in exposing the Clintons. Other conservative foundations contributed as well — and it went dormant as soon as Clinton left office, but has now returned with another Democrat in our White House.

Here is the 2012-990 for WJC, and you’ll notice Floyd Brown is the President, and Farah’s fellow CNP member, Gary Kreep, is their general council. Farah claims he is against any Constitutional Convention, but several years ago, he allowed Gary Kreep to write an article in WND which claimed the recalls for a Con-Con from twelve states may not be valid. Why would Farah, who allegedly is against a Con-Con, allow Kreep to state in a WND article that each state’s attorney general needs to validate the recalls and then they need to be sent to Eric Holder for final validation. What does he think Eric Holder would say? Here is the full story Gary Kreep’s article in WND.

Scaife was also the major backer of The American Spectator, whose Arkansas Project set out to find facts about Clinton and in which Paula Jones‘ accusations of sexual harassment against Clinton were first widely publicized. The American Spectator is a monthly magazine covering news and politics, edited by R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr. Other major funding came from the pro-school choice Bradley Foundation.

In 1996, according to Citizens for Honest Government (CHG) records, CNP member and CHG founder, Pat Matrisciana, and Christopher Ruddy, who was then a reporter for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, a newspaper owned by Richard Mellon Scaife, “maintained a joint bank account in the name of Jeremiah Productions, now Jeremiah Films, that made modest payments to critics of the president.” Additionally, “internal records of Jeremiah Productions” obtained by Murray Waas of Salon Magazine, showed that, as of September 1997, “the bank account controlled by Matrisciana and Ruddy had ‘total assets of $3.069 million and no liabilities.

Despite Scaife’s seeming hatred of the Clintons and his funding of Western Journalism Center, The American Spectator, and Christopher Ruddy’s Newsmax, the latter two who targeted the Clintons with both truth and lies, Scaife turned around and on April 20, 2008, two days before Pennsylvania’s presidential primary, Scaife’s Pittsburgh Tribune Review endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. Scaife also worked with Bill Clinton on his so-called “Clinton Global Initiative,” or CGI. CGI is a non-partisan organization that convenes global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Each year, CGI hosts an Annual Meeting in September, scheduled to coincide with the U.N. General Assembly. Throughout the year, CGI helps its members – primarily corporations, NGOs, and government leaders to bring about change. (None of which freedom loving Americans would like.) Ruddy told The New York Times he and Scaife had changed their views on the Clintons. “Both of us have had a rethinking. Clinton wasn’t such a bad president. In fact, he was a pretty good president in a lot of ways, and Dick feels that way today.”

In July 2012, Ruddy was a member of the official delegation that accompanied President Clinton on his five-nation tour of Africa, reviewing Clinton Foundation initiatives in the area of health care, HIV/AIDS programs, education and poverty alleviation.

During the delegation’s visit to Maputo, Mozambique, Ruddy blogged for the Clinton Foundation website, “The Clinton Foundation demonstrates that public-private partnerships and strategic engagement of private citizens, community members, and local governments can achieve great results in health care. And as I saw firsthand today in Mozambique, this work is innovative in its scope and in its purpose – which is to ensure governments can own and maintain their own health care systems without further reliance on aid. I applaud the Clinton Foundation for bringing together groups and individuals from all sides of the political spectrum to build a world that’s more equal, more sustainable, and that benefits us all.”

Sounds to me like he’s now fully on board and in bed with Clinton initiatives.

Richard Mellon Scaife spread his monies around to a variety of organizations and enterprises. It would take a book to cover them all, but in Part 13, we’ll look at a few more of the neo-conservative groups he funded.

Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 8

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? I Peter 3:8-13

Society for the Protection of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP)

On the TFP website, they state, “Mr. Weyrich was also a good friend of the American TFP. Since the early eighties, he regularly met with Mr. Mario Navarro da Costa of the TFP Washington Bureau, with whom he traveled on several occasions to Latin America and Europe, visiting the local TFPs and being introduced to their networks of friends. He also visited the Brazilian TFP in 1988, and met with its founder Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira. Over the years, Mr. Weyrich has proven to be an invaluable friend.”

So, what is TFP, and who was Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira? The latter was a Brazilian extremist and self-styled “prophet,” founder of a “crusade” against agrarian reform and “Communism,” which openly calls for the implementation of a world-wide “Christian” regime based on Medieval hierarchy and repression. This “crusade” is called Tradition, Family and Property (TFP). Plinio was the author of 15 books and over 2,500 essays and articles. His works include: In Defense of Catholic Action, Revolution and Counter-Revolution, The Church and the Communist State: The Impossible Coexistence, Nobility and Analogous Traditional Elites in the Allocutions of Pius XII, and many others.

plinio

The militant followers, who would come to receive his blessing, had to prostrate themselves in front of Plinio with their foreheads touching the ground; they would then kiss the armchair Plinio usually sat on. This odd right-wing organization, unlike no other, publicly holds that the rich are better than the poor.

CNP charter member Morton Blackwell, who gained renewed fame at the 2012 Republican convention, also worked with Plinio de Corrêa de Olivier’s Tradition, Family & Property (TFP). Blackwell endorsed Olivier’s book, Nobility & Analagous Traditional Elites, on the necessity of restoring traditional Nobility & Elites to rule the world. In the forward, Blackwell wrote: “One does not have to accept Papal infallibility to appreciate a case persuasively made, using theological, moral, and prudential arguments. This book will convince many readers, whatever their faith, that good elites are legitimate, desirable and, yes, necessary.”

The Secret Story of a Cult Apologist by Miguel Martinez features a picture of Paul Weyrich and Morton Blackwell with the American head of TFP, which is the parent organization of CESNUR, the cult apology network for cults such as Scientology. Link

weyrich and gangThe eminent leaders of the American New Right, Paul Weyrich (left) and Morton Blackwell (center) together with the president of the USA TFP, John Spann.

CESNUR is especially virulent, (Link) particularly against the testimony of former members of “cults,” where, in certain cases Cesnur even deliberately lied in order to discredit them. Co-founded by Massimo Introvigne (Managing Director), J. Gordon Melton, and Eileen Barker, among others, CESNUR is seen by many as an organization of cult apologists. At the very least, it has an anti-anticult stance, meaning it opposes the doctrines, methods and goals of anti-cult and counter-cult organizations.

Massimo Introvigne is still today the head of CESNUR and practices as a lawyer with Jacobacci & Perani. Introvigne established CESNUR, launching an unceasing campaign, and quickly becoming, together with J. Gordon Melton and Eileen Barker, one of the most important cult apologists in the world. TFP, in the meantime, continues to uphold the same views as CESNUR, views which share several features with the visionary propaganda of groups like the Church of Scientology, “that there is a worldwide ‘anti-cult conspiracy’ manipulated by psychiatrists and Communists.” Unluckily for them, TFP was recently named in a list of destructive cults drawn up by the French Parliament.

Considering Plinio Correa de Oliveira’s love for the inquisition, it may come as a surprise that Introvigne signed a manifesto in defense of Scientology, rather than branding the US multinational with the “mark of infamy.” Is it any wonder then, that the Church of Scientology is a member of Weyrich’s American Legislative Exchange Council? Link

Morton Blackwell’s Tribute to Weyrich

Paul Weyrich died in 2008 at age 66, but his profound influence on the Council for National Policy, the Heritage Foundation and ALEC lives on.

On the Leadership Institute website, Weyrich’s good friend, Morton Blackwell, gives a tribute to Paul Weyrich. It would be wise to read it as it contains valuable quotes and information.

The Leadership Institute,” which was started in 1979 by charter member and Executive Director of the CNP, Morton C. Blackwell, is allegedly a “non-partisan” educational institute that has been preparing conservatives for success in politics, government, and the news media. Here is the list of Leadership Institute’s funding. Please note, the Carthage Foundation is a Richard Mellon Scaife Foundation, also note, CNP charter member, Richard DeVos and wife, Helen’s Foundation. DeVos is the founder of Amway. As well, the Charles E. Koch Foundation, this is David and Charles Koch of Americans for Prosperity. Link Remember, David Koch is on the board of Trustees of Rockefeller University. He is also on the board of the globalist new age Aspen Institute formerly headed by new age environmentalist Maurice Strong who I wrote about in More Republican Deception. Koch is also on the board of Earthwatch Institute, an environmental, sustainability, Agenda 21 group. See this map of Koch’s many connections. David Koch also supports gay marriage and stem-cell research.

Since its 1979 founding, the Leadership Institute has trained more than 91,475 students. Notable alumni include CNP charter members, Grover Norquist who is a Council on Foreign Relation member, as well as a converted Muslim (Link Link), and Ralph Reed, former head of Pat Robertson’s Christian Coalition who was involved with fellow CNP member, Jack Abramoff’s lobbying scandals. Others include, Jeff Gannon, Senator Mitch McConnell, Governor Mike Pence, James O’Keefe, and seven members of the 112th Congress.

According to a former CNP member who found out what they were all about, he was “managed” while in the CNP by members, Morton Blackwell and Neal Hogan. He went to Blackwell’s church which is close to the capitol, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where there was a female priest who was married to an abortion doctor. He owned 6 abortion clinics. This former CNP member was there when they asked for prayer for this abortion doctor for an emergency that morning. They also endorsed homosexual marriage.

Neal Hogan’s wife Maureen, ran the Clinton Investigation Commission and garnered millions of dollars in donations during the Clinton years. However, they were close friends with the Clinton’s, and all the funds went to help the Clintons. This Pastor, who was a former member, fully believes the CNP is an arm of the UN. Link

The umbrella organization of the Council for National Policy for the 435 member groups, is nothing more than the right arm of the Council on Foreign Relations. Their ties to the Heritage Foundation, ALEC, and other powerful organizations and people, is a spider web of such immense proportions that it would take volumes to fully connect all the dots. In Part 9, we’ll discuss Heritage’s past President, Edwin Feulner.

Who is Grover Norquist? Part 1

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” Marcus Cicero

I recently finished Jack Abramoff’s book, Capitol Punishment. Link Abramoff is a long time member of the secretive Council for National Policy (CNP) which I’ve often mentioned in previous articles. Link I found it interesting that throughout the book, Jack’s friends and co-workers were also CNP members; mentioned were Ralph Reed, Howard Phillips, Dick Armey, Tom DeLay, and Grover Norquist. According to an investigative report from the Senate Indian Affairs Committee on the Jack Abramoff scandal, released in June 2006, Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) served as a “conduit” for funds that flowed from Abramoff’s clients to finance grass-roots lobbying campaigns. Records show that donations from the Choctaw and Kickapoo tribes to ATR were coordinated in part by Abramoff, and in some cases preceded meetings between the tribes and the White House. Abramoff and Norquist are long time friends and in their youth they were partners in College Republicans.

Conservatives Gather For Annual CPAC Convention

At the end of the book, Abramoff states, “In my view, only the creation of a new organization dedicated to a serious agenda of reform can push the legislative changes which must be enacted to clean up our system. The organization should be modeled like the effective and powerful group Grover built, Americans for Tax Reform, and hold Congressional feet to the fire in the same forceful way ATR does it.”

I read Abramoff’s final statement and I wanted to scream! Obviously he learned nothing during his stint in prison! Remember the words of Clinton’s mentor, Carroll Quigley, professor of history at Georgetown University and author of the 1966 book, Tragedy and Hope. “The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”

Abramoff never mentioned anything in his book about Norquist’s membership in either the Council for National Policy nor the Council on Foreign Relations. Link In Carroll Quigley’s Tragedy and Hope, he said this about the CFR, “The Council on Foreign Relations is the American branch of a society which originated in England … [and] … believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.”

The Real Grover Norquist

Grover Glenn Norquist (born October 19, 1956) is an American lobbyist, claims to be a conservative activist, and is founder and president of Americans for Tax Reform. He grew up in Weston, Massachusetts and graduated in 1974 from Harvard where he obtained both a B.A. and an M.B.A.

Norquist is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association and in 2010, he joined the advisory board of GOProud, an organization of conservative gay Republicans. He is also on the boards of the Hispanic Leadership Fund, the Indian-American Republican Caucus, and ParentalRights.org, an organization that wishes to add a Parental Rights Amendment to the United States Constitution. The dangers of trying to add an amendment to our Constitution today have been written about many times. With today’s political corruption, adding an amendment could easily lead to a Constitutional Convention and a new socialist/communist constitution. Link  Link.

Grover was the economist and chief speechwriter for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from 1983-1984. Erica Carle wrote a three part article entitled, “Who is in Charge of the New World Order,” that exposes the Chamber’s one-world-order agenda.

Norquist was Executive Director for the National Taxpayers’ Union (NTU) from 1978 to 1982, the same years we fought the first accelerated drive for a Constitutional Convention under the guise of a Balanced Budget Amendment. James Dale Davidson founded the NTU in 1969 and was the major force for a Con-Con especially during the years Norquist was Executive Director. The ruse back then was a Balanced Budget Amendment, the same excuse they’re using today. Link

Grover was formerly a federally registered lobbyist for Microsoft. The CEO of Microsoft is Bill Gates, who recently donated $1 billion to the United Nations for its population control agenda. See also, Bill Gates And Neo-Eugenics: Vaccines To Reduce Population | Rockefeller Foundation.

The ATR founder also supports Obama’s amnesty for illegal aliens and has been a facilitator of Islamist infiltration of the right. Even fellow CNP member Joe Farah of World Net Daily wants to dump Grover from the so-called “Conservative Movement.” Norquist is staunchly against Arizona’s immigration law and totally supports the 13 story Ground Zero Mosque, and  Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.

American Legislative Exchange Council

ATR is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). ALEC is a member of the Council for National Policy and was founded by Paul Weyrich, the former grand poobah of the CNP. ALEC is a corporate bill mill. It’s not just a lobby or front group, ALEC is one of the most powerful unelected councils in the country. Corporations hand to state legislators their “wish lists” of legislation to benefit their bottom lines. The membership of ALEC is 98% corporate and the corporate membership is the one that funds almost all of ALEC’s operations. They have bought their way into the process by which corporate lobbyists and special interest reps vote with elected officials to approve “model” bills. ALEC’s legislative leaders are responsible for getting the bills introduced and passed. They introduce the bills in their statehouses as their own brilliant ideas. They never disclose that corporations wrote and vetted these bills along with politicians behind closed doors at ALEC meetings. So, everyone who is a member of ALEC is influencing not only state bills, but likely most federal bills as well, written by corporations with vested interests…along with lobbyists like Grover. ALEC is also a long time supporter of a Constitutional Convention. More on ALEC in a future article.

Choice, Vouchers and Charter Schools

In 1995, Norquist was the keynote speaker at the National Conference on School Choice, which is sponsored by the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA). The NCPA is a free market think tank primarily funded by private foundations established by wealthy neo-conservative business families and billionaires, including Charles and David Koch. I wrote about David Koch in The Tea Parties, Part One. Koch is a member of the globalist new age Aspen Institute formerly headed by socialist UN member Maurice Strong, who wrote UN Agenda 21. Link How typical of Council for National Policy members like Norquist to argue for the communist School Choice.

Other Conference speakers included Paul Hill of the Rand Corporation.   RAND developed the mind control Delphi method in the 1950s for the U.S. Department of Defense. It was originally intended for use as a psychological weapon during the cold war. Also present was Peter Flanigan who was assistant to the president of the United States under Nixon and founded the Center for Education Innovation at the Manhattan Institute. The Manhattan Institute was founded in 1978 by none other than former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, William Casey.

A number of Council for National Policy members are promoting School Choice, Vouchers, and Charter Schools including the Family Research Council, Eagle Forum, James Dobson formerly with Focus on the Family, and The Heritage Foundation.

Heritage was founded in 1973 by three CNP members, grand poobah Paul Weyrich, Edwin Fuelner and Joseph Coors. Richard Mellon Scaife, who funds both sides of the aisle was a major early contributor and has given a total of $19.6 million to Heritage. Scaife initially funded Heritage groundbreaking efforts to the tune of $900,000, and he currently serves as vice-chairman of the Heritage Foundation board of trustees. Link Scaife also funds Planned Parenthood and had a full page ad in the WSJ on April 4, 2011, stating, “Why Conservatives Should Oppose Efforts to Defund Planned Parenthood.”

Grover’s relationship with Heritage Foundation, started in 1994 when he worked with Newt Gingrich and the Heritage Foundation to draft the Contract with America. See Chey Simonton’s, The Rockefeller/Heritage Connection for the truth about Heritage Foundation. Link Heritage is presently promoting Grover’s new book, Debacle: Obama’s War on Jobs and Growth and What We Can Do Now to Regain Our Future. Link

Charlotte Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education blew the whistle in the 80s on government activities withheld from the public. Here’s what she said about School Choice, “School Choice is the Trojan Horse to bring our country down. The tragedy of the matter is that many of our own people are involved in the demise of our Constitutional system of government and are willing to merge with Russia (the old Soviet Union). Charter schools are ungraded, continuous progress, mastery learning, come under the Effective School Research label, are international, involved with multinationals, and use the Skinner method.” Link Link Another wonderful article by Jed Brown that exposes the communist rot of School Choice is The Dirty Little Secret of School Choice and Charter Schools.

In a 1995 letter from Charlotte Iserbyt to Phyllis Schlafly, Charlotte exposes choice, vouchers, and Charter schools. Charlotte has the documented proof that Outcome Based Education (OBE) is communist and based on the 1933 Eight-Year Study drawn up by Progressive Education Association types (PEA being a communist front). These PEA members travelled back and forth to the Soviet Union in the thirties.

Charlotte also included the draft of a Charter School Initiative in Washington state by Jim Spady, a friend of new age futurist, Barbara Marx Hubbard, recommending a complete move from representative government to participatory government, using councils and unelected persons!  She attached copies of letters from those who supported Spady’s initiative along with letters from luminaries who supported this communist change to American education. They include former Reagan education czar, William Bennett, Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander, and of course, Grover Norquist. I urge you to thoroughly read and research the people mentioned in Charlotte’s letter. It is essential people understand that Phyllis never responded to Iserbyt’s letter, and that they had worked closely together on education for many years with Charlotte providing Schlafly with most of her information for “Child Abuse in the Classroom.” By all means purchase The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America on Amazon.

In Part 2, we’ll discuss Grover’s influence with former President George W. Bush and how he ushered silver-tongued jihadists into the Oval Office of our President after the worst attack ever on American soil.

3Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. -Isaiah 59:7

Heritage and NAFTA

The idea of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) originated with Heritage Fellow and CNP member, Richard Allen, and has long been advocated by Heritage policy analysts. The idea of creating a North American free trade zone from the Yukon to the Yucatan was first proposed by Heritage Distinguished Fellow Richard Allen in the late 1970s, refined by then Presidential candidate Ronald Reagan, and further developed in a major 1986 Heritage Foundation study.

The Free Trade Agreement got the ball rolling for the development of skills standards by the newly formed National Skills Standards Board. It was endorsed by the U.S. Labor Department Secretary’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills (SCANS) study originated under Labor Secretary Elizabeth Dole. This eventually led to the School-to-Work Opportunities Act and the dumbing down of American education curriculum for the global workforce training.

With all of this emphasis on “standards” it should be pointed out that NAFTA allows exchanges of all categories of professionals, with those coming from Mexico and Canada having met their own countries’ standards, not necessarily equal to those required in the United States. If this process evolves the way most of these exchange processes have in the past, that disparity will be addressed in one of two ways—by changing U.S. standards to match foreign standards, or by altering both NAFTA nations’ standards to align with international standards like ISO 9000 or ISO 1400 monitored by UNESCO. This should be of concern to professional organizations in the United States. Assuring Affordable Health Care for All Americans is the Heritage Foundation plan, written by Republicans and endorsed by the so-called conservative right. You will notice that Stuart M. Butler wrote this Heritage monograph. Please pay particular attention to Item #2 on page 6 of this document wherein it states, “Mandate all households to obtain adequate insurance.”

James Taranto, who writes the Wall Street Journal’s “Best of the Web” column, put forth a lengthy and informative discussion on the conservative origins of the individual mandate, whose inclusion in Obamacare is today its most controversial feature on the Right.

Taranto writes that he was there when the Heritage Foundation was promoting the mandate:

Heritage did put forward the idea of an individual mandate, though it predated Hillary Care by several years. We know this because we were there: In 1988-90, we were employed at Heritage as a public relations associate (a junior writer and editor), and we wrote at least one press release for a publication touting Heritage’s plan for comprehensive legislation to provide universal “quality, affordable health care.”

As a junior publicist, we weren’t being paid for our personal opinions. But we are now, so you will be the first to know that when we worked at Heritage, we hated the Heritage plan, especially the individual mandate. “Universal health care” was neither already established nor inevitable, and we thought the foundation had made a serious philosophical and strategic error in accepting rather than disputing the left-liberal notion that the provision of “quality, affordable health care” to everyone was a proper role of government. As to the mandate, we remember reading about it and thinking: “I thought we were supposed to be for freedom.”

The plan was introduced in a 1989 book, “A National Health System for America” by Stuart Butler and Edmund Haislmaier. We seem to have mislaid our copy, and we couldn’t find it online, but we did track down a 1990 Backgrounder and a 1991 lecture by Butler that outline the plan. One of its two major planks, the equalization of tax treatment for individually purchased and employer-provided health insurance, seemed sensible and unobjectionable, at least in principle.

But the other was the mandate, described as a “Health Care Social Contract” and fleshed out in the lecture. [Link]

Now, Stuart Butler claims we shouldn’t blame Heritage for the Obamacare mandate. He links to the Amicus brief filed in the 11th circuit court of appeals, dated May 11, 2011. If you read the Amicus brief, notice Edwin Meese’s name as well as Randy Barnett, of Georgetown University who has long been promoting a Constitutional Convention.

I find it interesting that the Affordable Health Care Act was signed into law by Barack Hussein Obama on March 23, 2010, but Heritage Foundation didn’t file their Amicus brief until over a year later.

Heritage’s Mandate for Leadership

In 1980, Heritage published their Mandate for Leadership to guide the incoming Reagan Administration and its transition team. Working the high-level inside track on these personnel hiring’s was Reagan’s “Kitchen Cabinet,” of which CNP member, Joe Coors was probably the best known member.

A Reagan loyalist since the 1968 GOP convention, Coors began spending a lot of time in Washington, D.C. and at the White House. The attempt at governance by the Kitchen Cabinet became so elaborate that they actually established an office in the Executive Office Building across from the White House.

Embarrassed by the image of a covey of millionaires seeming to run parallel and sometimes conflicting personnel recruitment operations, senior White House staff produced legal opinions saying that it was illegal for a private group to occupy government property, in this case a White House office.

Although Coors produced a legal opinion arguing there was no violation of law, Coors and friends were evicted. Heritage could hardly claim diminished relations with the Reagan Administration, however, as an estimated two-thirds of its Mandate recommendations were adopted in the first year of the Administration. Further, Heritage was using a letter of endorsement from White House Chief of Staff, Ed Meese, CNP charter member, in a December 1981 fundraising effort. In his letter of endorsement, Meese promised Heritage’s president, Edwin Feulner, that “this Administration will cooperate fully with your efforts.” The newly elected Ronald Reagan passed out copies of the Mandate at his first Cabinet meeting, and it quickly became his administration’s blueprint. By the end of Reagan’s first year in office, 60 percent of the Mandate’s 2,000 ideas were being implemented, and the Republican Party’s status as a hotbed of intellectual energy was ratified. After leaving the Reagan Administration, Meese joined the staff of the Heritage Foundation and is still there today.

Meese and his cronies were also involved in the theft of the Inslaw/Promis software that enabled the Justice Department to track criminal prosecutions. [Link] Meese had his intelligence buddies put a trap door in the software so the Bush’s could monitor everyone. The Justice Department started sharing the illegally obtained PROMIS software with other agencies, including agencies where PROMIS was modified for intelligence purposes and sold to foreign intelligence operations in Israel, Jordan, and other places. Michael Risconsciuto of the Wackenhut security firm had testified that he was contracted to install a “trap door” in the software to allow the CIA to tap into PROMIS software worldwide. It appears that the original petty crimes of the Justice Department have led to the exposure of a sensitive national security operation. [Link]
It also monitors all of us, and today there’s an even greater software program out there..but that’s another story.

Edwin J. Feulner, formerly the president of Heritage Foundation, had a yearly income including deferred compensation of $1,098,612. Former Attorney General, Edwin Meese, takes home half a million a year from Heritage. Feulner is also a charter member of the Council for National Policy.

The Rockefeller/Heritage Connection

From education researcher, Chey Simonton’s article on the Rockefeller/Heritage Connection, she states, “The top men of the Heritage Foundation, first Weyrich, then Ed Feulner, and now Jim DeMint, with the trust and cooperation of masses of sincerely committed conservatives have been in a position to further elitist Rockefeller goals. Along with radical World Government advocate, Walter Hoffman of the World Federalist Association, they participated on the 16 member U.S. Commission on Improving the Effectiveness of the United Nations. Working with the US Information Agency, Feulner also participated in facilitating the infamous 1985 US-Soviet Education Technology and Cultural Exchange Agreement. Soviet pedagogy, based on behavioral conditioning for a compliant collective labor force, is a dream come true for the dozens of multinational corporations funding all the think tanks promoting American education reform. The humanist Carnegie Foundation, a century-long collaborator with Rockefeller philanthropy, facilitated the Soviet side of this Exchange Agreement.”

Remember, in 1934, the Carnegie Corporation called for a shift from free enterprise to collectivism. They wanted the Soviet planned economy. [Link]

Thus, Heritage’s communist connections, were established rapidly after the historic meeting between Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev at the Geneva Summit.

Feulner was appointed by Reagan as chairman of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy. The commission was responsible for expediting a signed Soviet-American Educational Exchange Agreement. The National American Legion was one of hundreds of conservative groups refusing to do anything about the US/Soviet Education Agreements. Charlotte Iserbyt’s Maine State Legion voted unanimously to go up against what Reagan had done.

In 1995, Charlotte Iserbyt identified conservative “Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing,” who not only gave the Soviets access to American education, but whose act of treason “virtually merged the two educational systems.” Leading the pack for an educational exchange initiative was none other than:

“Edwin Feulner, former President of Heritage Foundation, who strongly supported the U.S.-Soviet education agreements, and who had an office in Moscow, supported Soviet-style magnet schools (i.e., tax supported choice/charter schools), and had state affiliate organizations across the nation writing charter school legislation that reads like it has been written by the U.S. Department of Education, the Carnegie Corporation and the National Education Association.”

“Paul Weyrich’s American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) gave an award to Oregon’s Department of Education for its education reform, especially the work force training component and its certificate of initial mastery (CIM) necessary to get a job. Same old Common Core folks! See the June, 2011, WSJ article, “Industry Puts Heat on Schools to Teach Skills Employees Need.”

We must remember, the 1955 UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) book, MENTAL HEALTH IN EDUCATION, is the earliest reference to the need for “choice” in education. The Charter Schools concept, strongly marketed around the country by Heritage affiliates with the help of CNP members in every state, attempts to link patriotic free enterprise themes to a blatantly unconstitutional system of corporate fascism to business/government partnerships in the education of our children.

At the same time, note that Heritage founder, Paul Weyrich, once served as advisor to former Russian President, Boris Yeltsin of Chechnyan genocide fame. He wrote about it in an article in the Heritage affiliate, Townhall Magazine. [Link] In 1987, Weyrich also wrote an article in The Washington Post, A Conservative’s Lament, which virtually recommended a new Constitution and form of government for the U.S.”

Both Feulner and Weyrich were also involved with other powerful players and shadowy figures, some from the right and some from the left. They have been included in groups formed to reinvent the UN, supposedly to face the 21st century. It is becoming more and more evident that Weyrich and Feulner were in fact organizing a tight group that represented the merger of right and left, which we have seen over the past 65 years. The Council for National Policy members love Heritage…and their members have been Heritage’s presidents.

Remember folks, Heritage Foundation is inextricably tied to the CNP, and the CNP is nothing more than the right arm of the CFR. Over the past 25 years, Heritage has also been funded by private foundations such as Pew Charitable Trust which also funded many GOALS 2000 initiatives. Bill Clinton signed the Goals 2000 law on March 31, 1994, creating new education bureaucracies and facilitating federal control of local education institutions. William Greider’s bestseller, Who Will Tell the People: The Betrayal of American Democracy reveals other benefactors: “Notwithstanding, its role as ‘populist’ spokesman, Weyrich’s organization, for instance, has received grants from Amoco, General Motors, Chase Manhattan Bank (David Rockefeller) and right-wing foundations like Olin and Bradley.” They’ve also received millions from wealthy donors which we’ll discuss in upcoming articles.

In Part 7, we’ll take a gander at Weyrich’s American Legislative Exchange Council, and his strong affiliation with the Society for the Protection of Tradition, Family and Property.

Enemies on The Left, False Friends on the Right – Part 5

“Only if we desire to know the truth and desire it fervently can we stand to be told that we the people are public enemy number one. If, on the other hand, we are too far gone to accept the truth, we shall continue to lose the little freedom and property we have left. This is a promise!” The Don Bell Report

The number one mover and shaker in the Council for National Policy was Paul Weyrich, albeit there were others with more money and power, the Coors family, and Richard Mellon Scaife, heir to the Carnegie Mellon fortune. The latter has just announced he is dying from incurable cancer. First, let’s take a look at the founder of Heritage Foundation and his affiliations. Mr. Weyrich wielded such power, and had so many organizations, that I’m only able to skim the surface of his many involvements.

Please understand that I’m writing this series to make people aware that all those great sounding rightwing groups have hidden agendas and affiliations with the Communist left and the shadow government of the CFR. We must know our enemies. In doing so, we can counter their efforts with the truth.

Paul Weyrich

weyrich

Paul M. Weyrich was born in 1942 and died in 2008. He was allegedly an American religious conservative and figurehead of the New Right. The latter has nothing to do with old-right Constitutional conservatives. The New Right is made up of neo-con Trotskyites and corporate fascists. They masquerade as “moderate” Republicans. See Part 3 of this series.

Weyrich was the Grand Poobah of the Council for National Policy. He was on the CNP Board of Governors in 1982 and 1996, and was the CNP Secretary-Treasurer as well as being on the Executive Committee in 1984-1985 and 1988. The Executive Committee decides who can become a member, and who can be an invited guest. He co-founded the conservative think tanks, the Heritage Foundation, the Free Congress Foundation, and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). He coined the term “Moral Majority“, the name of the political action group Moral Majority that he co-founded in 1979 with fellow CNP charter member, Jerry Falwell.

The Heritage Foundation

heritage wolf

As major founder of the Heritage Foundation, Paul Weyrich served as the first president in 1973-1974. Funding came from Joseph Coors, and Richard Mellon Scaife.   Here is a list of Heritage’s top funders today, along with their board of trustees. Note that Carthage Foundation, Sarah Scaife Foundation, and Scaife Family Foundation are all Richard Mellon Scaife foundations. Here is Weyrich’s own story of how he and Joe Coors worked together to create Heritage Foundation.

In 1971, Joseph Coors along with Jack Wilson and Paul Weyrich, founded Analysis and Research Inc., to establish a political research entity, that being Heritage Foundation. CNP member, Joe Coors donated the first-year Heritage budget of $250,000 for 1973 from the coffers of the Coors Corporation, and for the next two years gave $200,000. He then pledged $15,000 per month, but eventually gave more. Coors and Weyrich set up the Committee for the Survival of a Free Congress, which evolved into the Free Congress Foundation, to carry out political activities, and the Heritage Foundation as a tax exempt educational research entity.

The Coors company provided Heritage Foundation with $20,000 per month during the foundation’s first year. Weyrich was Heritage president until February 28, 1974.

The Free Congress Foundation Board of Directors included Weyrich who was an ardent supporter of the Society for the Protection of Tradition, Family and Property (more on them later) and Charles Moser, an editorial adviser to a publication that praises the Nazi Waffen SS.

Weyrich, who for years represented the ongoing political interests of the Coors family in Washington, DC, sponsored and worked closely with convicted Austrian Nazi collaborator, Laszlo Pasztor, a Hungarian-American who was employed at Free Congress Foundation, the political arm of Heritage Foundation. Pasztor’s Coalitions of the Americas was housed as a subsidiary of the Free Congress Foundation. The Coors and Scaife-funded Heritage Foundation co-sponsored a 1989 forum with a pro-Nazi group, the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations.

In Martin Lee’s book, The Beast Reawakens, he refers to Pasztor as Weyrich’s right hand man:

“In addition to homegrown agitators who dredged up anti-Semitic motifs that harkened back to the 1930s, some countries had to contend with groups that were led or supported by pro-fascist exiles who repatriated from the West where they had carried on as vocal anti-Communists during the Cold War, often with CIA support. The Free Congress Foundation, founded by American far right strategist Paul Weyrich, became active in eastern European politics after the Cold War. Figuring prominently in this effort was Weyrich’s right-hand man, Laszlo Pasztor, a former leader of the pro-Nazi Arrow Cross organization in Hungary, which had collaborated with Hitler’s Reich. After serving two years in prison for his Arrow Cross activities, Pasztor found his way to the United States, where he was instrumental in establishing the ethnic-outreach arm of the Republican National Committee.”

In the 1970s, Weyrich and Coors made appointments and set up political contacts on Capitol Hill for one Franz Joseph Strauss, Bavarian Head of State who helped émigré Nazi collaborators. Another fascist, Roger Pearson, writer and organizer for the Nazi Northern League of Northern Europe joined the editorial board of Policy Review (Heritage’s monthly publication) in 1977. The following brief mention of Roger Pearson on the British Eugenics Society web site is an indicator of his abiding contribution to pure racial breeding:

“Hans K. Gunther, a Nazi anthropologist and eugenicist… was assisted by Roger Pearson of the Eugenics Society, an important figure on the racist journal, Mankind Quarterly… Mankind Quarterly is a racist journal still pumping out venom in 1994, still influenced by Roger Pearson. Josef Mengele’s co-researcher at Auschwitz, Von Verschuer, was on the editorial advisory board of this journal before his death in 1970.”

The Northern League merged newsletters with Britons Publishing Company, an anti-Semitic publisher and a major distributor of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It was theosophist, and Russian occultist, Yuliana Glinka, who cooked up the Protocols, and she was the companion and coordinator for Madam Helena Blavatsky‘s Theosophical Society. Link All anti-Semitics, please refrain from writing to me.

The Policy Review was then published by the Hoover Institute whose members include Ed Meese, CFR Condi Rice, and NAFTA’s Richard Allen. It was discontinued in 2013.

Pearson’s racialist theories are still circulated worldwide by neo-Nazi and white supremacist organizations. Pearson was a recipient of white supremacist and pro-eugenics grants from Pioneer Fund to the tune of a million dollars. One of the funds’ founders was former Senator Jesse Helms, 33rd degree mason, and Council for National Policy charter member.

To get a sense of how revolutionary the political fight for power in the U.S. was then, and still is today, we need to look at a few quotes from what has been dubbed, “Paul Weyrich’s Teaching Manual,” the Free Congress Foundation’s strategic plan on how to gain control of the government of the U.S. Written by Eric Heubeck, and titled, “The Integration of Theory and Practice: A Program for the New Traditionalist Movement.” The document is no longer available at the Free Congress Foundation’s website for obvious reasons. The excerpts explain why the Dominionists are winning; the tactics they endorse are sheer Machiavellian:

Paraphrased here are the four immoral principles of the Dominionist movement as the following:

1) Falsehoods are not only acceptable, they are a necessity. The corollary is: The masses will accept any lie if it is spoken with vigor, energy and dedication. (Doesn’t this sound like the Third Reich’s Goebbels who said, “If you repeat a lie often enough people will believe it.”)

2) It is necessary to be cast under the cloak of “goodness” whereas all opponents and their ideas must be cast as “evil.”

3) Complete destruction of every opponent must be accomplished through unrelenting personal attacks. (This is an Alinsky tactic, as are others.)

4) The creation of the appearance of overwhelming power and brutality is necessary in order to destroy the will of opponents to launch opposition of any kind.

Huebeck goes on to say,  “There will be three main stages in the unfolding of this movement. The first stage will be devoted to the development of a highly motivated elite able to coordinate future activities. The second stage will be devoted to the development of institutions designed to make an impact on the wider elite and a relatively small minority of the masses. The third stage will involve changing the overall character of American popular culture.

And just what are they changing it into?

According to Jeffrey Sharlet, Hitler’s Mein Kampf and William L. Shirer’s The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich are studied as textbooks in a particular leadership training group he wrote about in Harper’s Magazine. Link

Paul Weyrich wrote an article in 1987 entitled, “A Conservative’s Lament.” In it he stated, “If we are going to be a serious nation, we need a serious system for selecting our leaders and advisors. We need some type of shadow government, in which leaders and top advisors can be identified and developed, and through which our politics can be better focused on policy choices. The world is a professional league, and we cannot win fielding amateur teams.”  What does he think the CFR is? Of course he loved the parliamentary form of government.

In Part 6, we’ll continue looking at Heritage Foundation and their UN connections, NAFTA, and the Health Care mandate. Please remember that I’m simply skimming the surface of these people involved with the Council for National Policy. Throughout the rest of this series, Heritage Foundation is at the center of the Council for National Policy.

Secession Makes More Sense Than Article V Convention of States

March 16, 2015

Why the “Convention of States” Project won’t work …but secession will
March 4, 2015—The latest craze throughout many Tea Party groups is to support the notion that our Constitution should be changed. This ill-conceived idea didn’t just come from Mark Levin’s book, the “Liberty Amendments.” It has been planned for decades and has been pushed by, both, the left and the right since the 1970’s. In order to achieve the ultimate goals of the globalist movement, the Constitutional re-writers must transform our existing form of government (a Republic). Remember, Obama used the words “fundamentally transformed” and Michael Farris calls it, “structurally changed.” The effort began with the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations in 1964 and is recently pushed through several Non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) such as ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council), on the right, and their counterpart on the left, the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL). The last push for an Article V convention was done by the left (in 1995) and was supported by ALEC…now it’s being sold to the other side with ALEC at the helm.  When I first learned of this push by COS (“Convention of States”), I thought how overwhelming it all was. I felt like I wasn’t qualified to understand all of the requirements, the “safeguards”, nor the history of Article V. But it’s very easy to analyze, just go right to the core. The Constitution is not the problem and amending it is not the solution to our out-of-control federal government! Later, I partnered up with Constitutional Attorney, Richard Fry, and launched the Defend Not Amend project in January 2014. Continue reading at Voice of Liberty
