Previously I stated where I believe our country will end if we continue down the road we are traveling. I was called a Chicken Little, mister gloom and doom. We have been in worse places I am told and survived. Yes, we have been in worse places. As a people we fought our way out of those difficult places. But never have we had an entity deep inside of our country and government so corrupt that it is willing to destroy any remnant of our republic and the democracy promised to the ignorant. This is an entity willing to destroy all that allowed them to achieve status and wealth in the first place just in order that they may secure more wealth and power rendering our nation to just another piece of the globalist serfdom. A serfdom where acquiring wealth is out of reach for most.
When I complete a mental recon of any situation, I worst case it. It is part of critical thinking. In critical thinking you work backwards from worst case to present. It helps you know the way you must go. By necessity, you map out the route to where you need to go while blocking avenues leading to the worst case destination. I asked if you have ever pondered how we arrived at this place teetering on the verge of national suicide. Someone called me an expletive moron for having the audacity to even raise such a silly question. Of course we have pondered it!
To destroy a people or country or anything for that matter you must severely weaken its foundation. Experience tells me there will be much disagreement about what I consider the foundation of the United States of America and it will come from multiple directions and often arrive in profane declarations. Some will agree, some will disparage, and some will build a straw man around a single phrase and beat senseless the straw man without ever critically pondering the question. This is a benefit likely derived from headline reading and solving the world’s problems in a 144 characters with a hash tag and the anonymity of the cyber world. For the time being, this is still the United States of America and as citizens freedom is our birthright. With freedom comes the right to speak freely about what one believes. If you exercise your right by engaging in attacks and name calling, no one much cares what else you have to say beyond that.

God is the bedrock of our foundation. Atheists and others tell us God is not needed to help distinguish right from wrong or what is moral from immoral. Somehow they just know right from wrong and are adamant that there exists no higher moral authority than themselves and the greater humanistic tradition. From the earliest days of life, if honest about it, we naturally knew right from wrong.

Without the moral authority that comes from God and that is integral to the Judeo-Christian values on which this nation was founded, humanity is inherently evil. One does not have to search very far into history to learn of the evil perpetuated upon the world and people by Godless nations. To that, millions of graves offer testimony. I have also listened to the views of Christian bigots who spew streams of profanity and attack with accusations of proselytizing even at the mere mention of God. Is not “proselytizing”, in most cases stated as a pejorative, just advocating – offering one point of view rather than another – in this instance, the merits of Judeo-Christian values rather than the alternative? And does not the alternative adamantly “proselytize” for their views – even to the point of coercing or trying to destroy those who do not accept their way? Our founders were clear in their views of the importance of morality and religion in the governed and government. A religious and moral people are a lawful people. It is a citizenry that upholds and follows the laws of the land as bound by their Christian faith.
The Judeo-Christian underpinning of our nation is well established in historical documents. For decades, there has been a concerted effort to remove God from our country – to remove the bedrock of our nation and culture – to remove The higher moral authority. As studies have shown, the numbers of Americans who claim they are Christian is in steady decline. We are losing the battle. God is always with us, but he gives us the free will to choose our own path. He will also stand aside and allow us to pursue destruction if that is the way we choose.

Family is the basic social institution of our foundation. I remember Sociology 101 circa 1971. The discussion of the day surrounded the future of the nuclear family. The accepted definition of traditional nuclear family was a father, mother and children. It was the primary source of socialization for children and the most basic building block for society. Today’s definition expands to a pair of adults and their children or a single parent and children or pretty much however you choose to define family as a unit consisting of adults and children. The basic socialization of a child takes place in the family including basic social ideas, attitudes, values, and religious and moral training.
When we backed away from a moral authority, redefining human kind’s oldest social institutions, family and marriage, became easy.
Not only have we re-defined family, but our War on Poverty welfare among other things has created more single mother households. It is these families that are most likely to remain in poverty, most likely to be poorly educated, and most likely to become involved in unacceptable social activities. That is just another sad fact considering the high percentage of children born out of wedlock, as high as 70 percent in some groups. In many of these single parent homes, children simply do not receive the primary social skills that are integral to all Western society.
We are losing the war on the family. The destruction of the traditional nuclear family means the destruction of our social foundation.
Identity as a Country is our foundation. With the loss of a moral authority and the systematic destruction of the family, keeping our identity as a country is our last line of defense. In recent years, we have lost much ground in that war. What defines a country? Borders, culture, and language. There is an all out assault on all three and if we continue in the same direction, we will cease to exist as a country. Globalist progressive politicians refuse to enforce border security and immigration laws. They will not declare English as the country’s official language. People stand on our flag, raise the flags of other countries or groups above the American flag and second string athletes refuse to stand for our national anthem. Most egregious is the images we see of elected government “servants” that we pay who swore oaths to support and defend the Constitution, sitting on their asses looking at their telephones rather than standing hand over heart and pledging allegiance to our country. Yes, we are in great shape.
We are losing the war on all fronts. We can only hope to win if we re-fortify our foundation. That requires similarly focused leadership and an informed citizenry.
