Have Heart, Stand Tall

By Jim O’Neill
You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We can preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we can sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”
Ronald Reagan “Time for Choosing” speech, 1964
As We the People have come to expect, the Left has overplayed its hand yet again.  The “banality of evil” indeed – which is not to say that evil is trite, but that it has become all too commonplace and accepted.
The crisis de jour has become routine to the point of farce.  It would be comical but for the increasing violence and tragedy.  What will it be next time – a faux “Russian” EMP attack?
As dangerous as cornered rats, the Deep State is outing itself as a heartless, soulless monster, capable of committing any atrocity in order to protect itself.  I do not put anything past these evil power-hungry ghouls.
But We the People have their number.  We know their MO and motives, ruthlessness and lack of heart.  We tune out the MSM and tune in Freedom wherever we find it.
Have heart, stand tall.  The frantic thrashings of an increasingly panicked Deep State underline the fact that a red tsunami is coming November 6, and they know it.

You Don’t Hand Power to an Angry Left-wing Mob

BY JIM O’NEILL

You don’t hand matches to an arsonist, and you don’t hand power to an angry left-wing mob.

President Donald J. Trump  “Donald Trump in Kansas: Democrats an ‘Angry Mob’ — ‘You Don’t Hand Matches to an Arsonist’

We as conservatives believe in our God-given rights, and that puts an automatic emergency brake on our behavior.  We may dislike people ideologically, but the fact that God gave you and I rights prevents us from attacking them or anything like that.  The radical left has no emergency brake.  They are takers.  They need to take your money, your kid’s education, your health care…and to do that they need state power.  And when they lose state power, and they lose the courts, and they lose the presidency, and they lose governorships…then there is nowhere else to go, there is no emergency brake.

Dan Bogino “Fox and Friends” 10/7/18, 26:00 mark

Dan Bogino is quite right.  The far left, the radicals, seldom believe in God, so there is no ultimate accountability, nothing to tell them that they’ve crossed the line and gone too far.  There is no “too far” for them.  Are such people the sort you want to hand over the reins of power to?  Please God let it not be so.

I live in Florida and received my mail-in ballot for November’s election recently.  It served to remind me that November 6 will be here quickly, and how crucially important it is – definitely the most important mid-term election in my lifetime, and quite possibly in the history of our country.

I believe that the Republicans will do pretty well in the Senate, but if the Democrats, the Party of Crime, wins the House it will be national chaos.  We the People will go from making America great again to once more hanging on by our fingertips.  A bloody civil war will be all but unavoidable – in which case we best be prepared to toss our “emergency brakes” out the window.

Trump’s base knows all this in their bones, but there are too many voters who do not.  It is up to us to inform them in no uncertain terms that We the People are as close to losing it all this November as we were in 2016.

We need a red tsunami this November…and a red tsunami doesn’t happen by some fluke.  It is made up of each of us, one at a time, casting our vote for a Republican ticket.  And if enough of us do that a red tsunami will “magically” appear, but in order for a red wave to save us, each and every one of us must vote.  America hangs in the balance, it is ours to save or lose.

BREAKING: Former Fox News Head Bill Shine in ‘Final Talks’ to Become White House Comms Director

BREAKING: Former Fox News Head Bill Shine in ‘Final Talks’ to Become White House Comms Director

_____________________________________

Bill Shine, the former co-president of Fox News, is in final talks to take over the post of White House communications director.
Fox News’ own White House reporter John Roberts took to Twitter to report the news on Wednesday.
The New York Times reported, based on sources, that Shine was offered the job by Trump.
Shine, a longtime executive at the network, served as its co-president for nearly 10 months after the ouster of longtime head Roger Ailes amidst a wave of sexual harassment allegations.
Shine, considered by many to be Ailes’ protege at the network, left Fox News himself in the wake of a network-wide housecleaning, but has denied wrongdoing in the handling of sexual harassment allegations.
Since leaving the network Shine has reportedly been in contention for a position in the White House. He has also spent much of his time, Politico reported, down at President Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida along with mutual friend Sean Hannity.
The role of White House communications director has been a merry-go-round in the Trump administration. It was a position first held by the remarkably ill-equipped Sean Spicer, who passed it off to an invisible Mike Dubke, who was replaced — for eleven thrilling days — by brash New York financier Anthony Scaramucci. Hope Hicks served calmly in the position for the second half of 2017, until she left the job unfilled after her White House boyfriend found himself embroiled in a domestic abuse scandal.
As the conventional wisdom goes, Trump is his own communications director. But given Bill Shine’s stature as a longtime executive at Fox News, a network with close ties to the administration, he could prove to have staying power if he’s chosen for the job.
Mediaite has reached out to the White House for comment.

Doubling Down on Dumb

By Jim O’Neill
A dedication to irrationality grows more difficult to renounce with each reiteration of unreason, for the deluded must increasingly face the shame not only of his folly but the misery it begets.  As the tally grows, the likelihood of self-correction diminishes; and the committed one-worlder, now chained to his oars, must insulate himself against both reality and countervailing opinion.  He does so handily by demonizing those trying to restore him to sanity.
Melanie Phillips “The World Turned Upside Down: The Global Battle Over God, Truth, and Power”
On one side you have the likes of Robert “Raging Bulls—t” De Niro, and his anti-American liberal sycophants wildly applauding De Niro’s most recent vulgar and infantile hissy fit aimed at President Trump.  On the other side you have We the People, who increasingly allow such petulant pouting to go in one ear and out the other as we applaud the efforts of the best president America has seen since…well, forever it seems.
The media continues to preach its nonstop anti-Trump propaganda to an ever-shrinking choir, while the Democratic Party seems hellbent on throwing itself headfirst into absurdity and irrelevance.
As Melanie Phillips so insightfully points out, the globalist’s arrogance and ideological blinders leave them largely incapable of seeing anything outside their myopic tunnel-visioned delusions.  They are lost in a self-made house of mirrors, reflecting back at themselves, through transference and projection, their own unlovely images – which they disassociate from and demonize as “Them.”  To paraphrase Walt Kelly, they have met the enemy and he is them.
Their vision for America’s future has been reduced to “Resist!” and doubling down on dumb.  They are no doubt extremely disappointed by President Trump’s historic and wildly successful meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.  We the People on the other hand are elated.  Congratulations President Trump – thank you!

With Friends Like This Trump Doesn’t Need Enemies

By Jim O’Neill
Geeze Louise, to listen to Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and a host of other fair-weather friends you would think that President Trump has started eating aborted fetuses for breakfast.  Get a grip people, he signed a short-term Omnibus spending bill, he didn’t give away the keys to the kingdom.
President Trump remains in my opinion the greatest POTUS to come down the pike since the early days of the republic.  I thank God every day that Trump is president, and consider America blessed indeed to have such an intelligent, street savvy, compassionate, stalwart, and courageous patriot at our helm.
How soon we forget.  Do you have ANY idea what America would look like today if Hillary Clinton and the corrupt globalist cabal had won the presidential election?  DO YOU REALLY?  I seriously doubt any of the sunshine patriots and summer-time soldiers who are so quick to dismiss President Trump’s myriad and impressive accomplishments have any real grasp of how closely the USA came to being killed off for good in November of 2016.
In my article “Trickle-Down Trump” I mentioned that one of the qualities that President Trump possesses is a “an unflagging positive attitude.”  The importance of such an attitude on our individual lives and the life of America as a whole cannot be overemphasized.  The famed philosopher William James put it succinctly: “Pessimism leads to weakness, optimism to power!”
He expanded on this theme during a series of lectures he gave at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland during the fin de siecle of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The attitude of unhappiness is not only painful, it is mean and ugly.  What can be more base and unworthy than the pining, puling, mumping mood, no matter by what outward ills it may have been engendered?   What is more injurious to others?   What less helpful to others as a way out of difficulty?  It but fastens and perpetuates the trouble which occasioned it and increases the total evil of the situation.  At all costs then, we ought to reduce the sway of that mood: we ought to scout it in ourselves and others, and never show it tolerance.  But it is impossible to carry on this discipline in the subjective sphere without zealously emphasizing the brighter and minimizing the darker aspects of the objective sphere…. (italics added)
William James “The Varieties of Religious Experience” (p. 86, paperback)
So, lighten the f—k up and give President Trump some breathing room.  Save you “pining, puling, mumping” moods for those who deserve it – say Congress.

New Portrait of Trump Driving Liberals Mad(ER)

by Rev. Austin Miles
Frequent contributor to this column, Laurence Craig sent us this note and portrait which affected this writer deeply, and included this note:
I LOVE THIS PAINTING OF SIR DONALD OUR COMMANDER IN CHIEF AND PATRIOT TRUMP PICKING UP OUR FLAG, HOLDING IT TO HIS HEART WITH SUPREME LOVE AND DETERMINATION ON HIS FACE, GENTLY WIPING THE SEDIMENT OF WAR FROM HER STARS AND STRIPES, SO SHE, WHILE WOUNDED, CAN CONTINUE TO BE OUR GALLANT SYMBOL OF LIBERTY, PRIDE AND FREEDOM AS WE THE PEOPLE UNITED WITH OUR PRESIDENT STRIVE TO DEFEAT THE PLAGUE OF COMMUNISM SEEKING TO ENGULF US AND ALL FUTURE GENERATIONS.”

Mr. Craig could not have described this painting better. I personally felt a lump in my own throat when seeing it, for the gratitude felt for Mr. Trump for putting his own wealthy life on hold to dive into the mess America has become due to a faulty steering wheel which he will fix.  Embrace this portrait with your eyes and THINK. How fortunate that God sent him to us.
The gifted artist who created this image of President Trump, Jon McNaughton, was inspired by the NFL’s ugly  protests against the American Flag when The National Anthem is played before their games, the flag under which they all became famous multimillionaires. Strange protests indeed. Nuts if one wishes to be precise.
This is what led portrait artist Jon McNaughton to place his subject in the middle of a football field, and titled the work, “Respect the Flag.” The love and respect President Trump’s face and body posture displays as he clutches the American Flag over his heart says it all.
The only protests against this portrait is from the Democrat-Communists which = Democoms.
Note: Prints of this painting can be purchased on McNaughton’s website.

Trickle-Down Trump

By Jim O’Neill
A friend recently sent me an article concerning a couple of British city councils that will be handing out “gender pronoun badges” in celebration of “Trans Day of Visibility,” March 31.
Council and voluntary sector staff…will be “encouraged” to wear the badges, which include messages such as “My pronouns are she/her/hers” and “My pronouns are they/their/theirs” “…Some prefer to use other gender-neutral pronouns such as ‘xe’, ‘ze’, or ‘sie’”
Virginia Hale “Breitbart London
I thought to myself “Yeah, well my ‘pronoun badge’ would read ‘F–K OFF, LIBERAL WANKERS!’” – but in polite sedate letters so as not to offend anyone (we are talking England after all).
Be that as it may – please excuse the sharp segue, but this article is not about gender badges, but the impact of President Trump on American culture as a whole.  So, let me get started on that theme without any further ado.
It is commonly accepted that the demeanor, the personality, the aura, of America’s president trickles down to permeate their entire administration, and ultimately the rest of the country, to a greater or lesser extent.  If that is indeed the case (and I believe it is) then how will “Trickle-down Trump” affect America – how is it already affecting America (and the world)?
Perhaps the most important thing that President Trump has done so far is to reinvigorate America’s sense of pride, power, and hope.  That, coupled with his unflagging positive attitude, has trickled down, or radiated out, to permeate all of America – excepting those dark benighted corners where the MSM, academia, Never Trumpers, and the radical Left hang out.
We the People have long known that President Trump could find a cure for cancer, eradicate poverty, walk barefoot across the Potomac River, and the MSM and their brain-washed followers would find fault without fail – goes without saying.  If you are so dim as to fall for their non-stop anti-Trump propaganda then more fool you.
Another aspect of President Trump’s personality that will have far-reaching effects on America’s culture, its zeitgeist, is his unapologetic masculinity.  To the unmitigated horror of radical feminists and their ilk he is revitalizing, revamping, and reintroducing the concept of the manly man — the man of confidence, power, integrity, and action; leavened with humor and compassion.

Donald J. Trump is the greatest big-game player in American political history.  Period.  There is no second.  None.  Not in modern times.  No one is even close.  If you disagree, show us someone who has never run for office before, and watch him become the leader of the free world in spite of the media, some of the Republican establishment, and the Democratic Party all being against him.
Lewandowski, Bossie “Let Trump Be Trump” p. 203
“Old fashioned,” passe virtues such as honesty, decency, honor, courage, hard work, and commitment will seep back into America’s everyday vocabulary as our culture becomes reacquainted with their importance.  Being of service to others will also reacquire its long-lost allure.  The “secret” that wisely doing good is a shortcut to feeling good (wholesomely good) will be parlayed into personal and national improvement.
And President Trump is a spiritual man, a man of God.  Which is all to the good in a country whose motto is “In God We Trust.”  Granted, he is only human and has feet of clay, but who does not?  A show of hands from those of you who are saintly and pure as the driven-snow?  That’s what I thought.  So, let’s not be so quick to throw stones at another’s lack of perfection.
Trump says what he means and means what he says.  That, in and of itself, makes Trump a political oddity on a par with a total solar eclipse.  Oh wait, he’s not a professional political parasite, is he?  Well that explains that.  With a bit of God’s grace, straight-shooting talk and minimal bulls—t will again become the coin of the realm in America.
I could go on in this vein for some time, but you get the idea.  “Trickle-down Trump” will have far reaching positive effects throughout the United States, and eventually the world.  Why I wouldn’t be surprised if such insidious nonsense as “gender badges” were soon relegated to the dustbin of history where they belong.

President Trump and the Darkest Hour

By Jim O’Neill
Never give in, never give in — never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.  Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965) “Never Give In Speech” Harrow School, 1941
Never, ever, give up!  …Demand the best from yourself and be totally unafraid to challenge entrenched interests and failed power structures.  …Relish the opportunity to be an outsider.  Embrace that label.  Being an outsider is fine, embrace the label, because it’s the outsiders who change the world and who make a real and lasting difference.
President Donald J. Trump “Commencement Speech” Liberty University 1917
If you support President Trump and have not yet seen the movie “Darkest Hour” permit me to suggest that you do so at the earliest opportunity.  If you are anything like myself you will be struck by the similarities between the challenges faced by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the early days of WW II, and those faced by American President Donald Trump almost eighty years later.
The details of the challenges each man faced during their initial time in office of course differ greatly, but the general tone of political nastiness and waging an uphill battle…that is remarkably similar.
Churchill followed hard on the heels of Prime Minister Neville “Peace in Our Time” Chamberlain and his efforts to appease Adolph Hitler.  Trump followed President Barack “Lead from Behind” Obama, who tried to appease…damn near everyone.
Winston Churchill confronted the eugenics and social engineering constructs of Hitler’s vile Nazi fascism.  A British victory was far from certain in the early stages of the war – it was, in fact, highly unlikely.  Nonetheless, failure was not an option.
But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.
Sir Winston Churchill “Their Finest Hour” speech, June 18, 1940
President Trump confronts a globalist vision that when stripped of its veneer of civility and bonhomie is every bit as power hungry, debased, and delusional as anything the Nazis planned.  The globalists wish to destroy nation states – President Trump wants to make America great again.  These desires and viewpoints are diametrically opposed.
Americanism, not Globalism, will be our credo.
Donald J. Trump “Acceptance Speech” July 21, 2016
Churchill faced the immense juggernaut of Hitler’s military might.  President Trump faces the collectivist agenda of an entrenched, fanatical, ruthless, well-funded and prolific globalist elite (and their attendant useful idiots).
Both Trump and Churchill share the quality of being good men who know that they are not saints – and we know it too, and that’s okay, that’s more than okay.  Leave sainthood to the saintly.  When the times call for a courageous street fighter you don’t call on Mother Theresa.
Great Britain needed Churchill – especially during the dire early days of WW II — its lion to face off against Hitler and provide an inspiring roar.  Likewise, some eighty years later, America needs its lion to roar the will of We the People in the face of the Machiavellian duplicity of our government and media, and share our outrage at the desecration of our beloved country.
In any event, if you have not yet seen “Darkest Hour” I recommend you check it out.  Perhaps you will see the similarities between Prime Minister Churchill and President Trump that I do.  In my opinion God blessed the United Kingdom with Churchill when they desperately needed him…and God has blessed America, indeed the world, with the light of President Trump during another dark and challenging time.
