Secret Service Can’t Find Tons Of Its Guns, Phones, Badges And Cars
By Phoenix Brooks Thousands of sensitive assets belonging to U.S. Secret Service agents, including firearms, computer laptops, work badges, telephones and even motor vehicles, have been lost during the past 15 years, according to documents obtained by nonprofit government watchdog Judicial Watch. “This is supposedly an elite law enforcement agency — how did all this equipment get stolen?” or lost. “This is alarming. Every American should be alarmed about this,” Judicial Watch’s Irene Garcia told The Daily Caller News Foundation. Secret Service agents reported 11,780 lost or stolen assets between fiscal years 2001 and 2016, according to the data Judicial Watch received, although the agency didn’t distinguish between lost and stolen items. A total of 121 “weapons/pistols” were lost or stolen from 2001 through 2016, including 69 in 2002 alone. The Secret Service also reported 736 cell phones, 571 badges and six vehicles as lost or stolen in that same period. (RELATED: DHS Lost Thousands Of Badges, Hundreds Of Guns Since 2012) But uncategorized or “all remaining” assets account for 4,644 of the 11,780 lost or stolen items. More assets were lost or stolen in fiscal year 2004 than any other year — 1,362, most of which were uncategorized. This new information suggests that sporadic news reports in recent years about the Secret Service agents losing cell phones and guns were snapshots of a larger problem. (STOLEN: Secret Service Agent’s Gun, Flash Drive, Radio, Handcuffs) “Honestly, it’s baffling,” Garcia said. The Secret Service took nearly a year to answer Judicial Watch’s December 2015 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for documentation on all assets reported missing since 2001. Judicial Watch made the request as a part of a larger investigation. A CNN anchor encouraged Americans to begin wearing hijabs to display solidarity with oppressed Muslim women – just hours before a radical Islamist attacked students on a US college campus.
Claiming discrimination against Muslim women is on the rise following the election of Donald Trump as president, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota told Chris Cuomo:
“Maybe there will be a movement where people wear the head scarf in solidarity. You know, even if you’re not Muslim.” “Maybe it’s the way people shave their heads, you know, sometimes in solidarity with somebody who is going through something.”
The commentary followed a segment in which several Muslim women claimed to be victims of physical and verbal attacks for wearing hijabs, as a CNN lower third displayed, “The Trump Transition: Fearful Muslim women take steps to be safe.” “I hope I can wear it one day again. I hope I can feel safe enough to do so,” one woman said of her hijab in the segment. As pointed out by Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller, CNN’s “piece did not note that some of the alleged hate incidents in the aftermath of Trump’s win have been found to be hoaxes.” One such false charge came earlier this month from a Muslim student in Lafayette, Louisiana, who claimed she was robbed and had her hijab ripped from her by Donald Trump supporters. Lafayette police later revealed the woman confessed she had fabricated the story. Just hours after Camerota made her statements, a radicalized Somalian refugee drove his car into a crowd of people on the Ohio State University campus and stabbed and slashed several with a butcher knife. The Somali migrant, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, 18, was a student at the campus who had previously complained about the lack of available areas for him to pray. “I wanted to pray in the open, but I was kind of scared with everything going on in the media,” Artan said in an interview with a student paper. “I’m a Muslim, it’s not what the media portrays me to be.”
MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, a Democrat, ripped into Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s latest outburst on the Senate floor, declaring it “unhinged.”
After rolling a clip of Warren raging at fellow Democrats, a visibly exasperated Brzezinski excoriated the Massachusetts senator on Tuesday’s episode of Morning Joe. “Do you lead on anger, though? Because that doesn’t seem very constructive to me. I gotta tell you. I love her; I’m getting tired of this act,” Brzezinski said. “You know what? There’s a huge part of the country that doesn’t think [Donald Trump is a disaster] and she might want to be a little inclusive because she is sounding like the people she is accusing of as being exclusive.” I mean she’s just got to stop. I’m sorry. It’s getting exhausting,” she added. “It’s not going to work. At some point we have to look at what happened and look at the people we’ve lost along the way.” Bzezinski had been a vocal supporter of Warren’s, even championing her as Hillary Clinton’s top vice presidential option at one time, but it seems the lovefest may have run its course. Earlier in the month, Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan (Ohio) admitted the Democratic Party is “going to cease being a national party” if it maintains its current course. “We can’t keep going down the same road… I’m pulling the fire alarm right now, is what I’m doing in the Democratic Party,” he warned. Ryan said establishment Democrats are still in denial about the election, which indicates they have no clue about anything. “I’m pulling the fire alarm, because the house is burning down, and we better get our act together or we’re going to cease being a national party,” he added. “We’re going to be a regional party that fails to get into the majority, and fails to do things on behalf of those working class people that were the backbone of the Democratic Party for so long.” Facebook: Dan Lyman RealKitDaniels
The recount in Wisconsin, and the coming ones in Michigan and Pennsylvania will not change the outcomes in any of the states.
No recount ever changes thousands of votes. I do not think that is the purpose. The recounts, if done by hand, which can be demanded, may take longer than the last day for completing the official counts in a state and directing Electoral College voters. If all 3 states miss the deadline, Trump is at 260, Hillary at 232. No one hits 270.
President-elect Donald Trump had this to say in response to the ongoing Democrat push for an election recount limited to only states Trump won:
Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally
It’s been well-documented that illegals have voted in elections, and it’s also quite possible the establishment attempted to rig the election for Hillary Clinton, but they couldn’t overcome a landslide for Trump.
https://youtu.be/VpjNyoPWYZo The #NotMyPresident movement keeps pushing the “Hillary won the popular vote” line, but it’s meaningless; if the president was selected by popular vote, then both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton would have campaigned in completely different states than they did. In short, Hillary saying she won the popular vote is like saying she won a footrace by driving a Dodge Demon.
https://youtu.be/tGtel3Yl5l8 There’s a legitimate reason for having an Electoral College: if the president was selected by popular vote, then only densely population regions of the U.S. would decide who would become president. The United States of America would be reduced to the United States of New York and California, with 48 other vassal states. And why is the presidential election the only race that’s decided by the Electoral College? Simple: it’s the only race that shows up with the same major candidates in all 50 states. Other races, such as the U.S. House and Senate, involve candidates who are chosen only by voters of that state. Facebook: RealKitDaniels
