“Donald Trump Jr., a big game hunter, just killed a Triceratops and posted a picture posing with the dead animal’s body,” social prankster Mark Dice tells a California resident in his latest video stunt.
While the statement should be rejected on historical premise, people interviewed by Dice go on to criticize Trump’s sons for slaying the three horned beast and other long-extinct, prehistoric creatures.
“My opinion is I think they’re just getting away with a lot for the simple fact that they’re Donald Trump’s children,” one woman says.
Another person interviewed by Dice says Trump’s kids should be more mindful of the endangered saber-toothed tiger population.
“I think, because it’s not a sustainable animal,” the man says.
“They’re pretty rare,” Dice follows up.
“They’re an endangered species, and then it would end all the species,” the man says.
In a separate interview, another man says Trump’s kids should fish instead of targeting the “beautiful” saber-toothed tiger for slaughter.
“I don’t think it’s the right move,” he tells Dice, adding, “I mean, the saber-toothed tiger is a beautiful animal. And I mean I’m sure it’s an endangered species. If you want to go hunt something or kill something why don’t you go fish or something?”
“The only reason they’re doing it is because they have the money to do it,” he adds.
Another woman was angered when she was told Trump’s kids took down a woolly mammoth “just for a trophy to mount the head in their Manhattan apartment.”
“I think it’s awful that they’re doing that and just thinking that it’s ok just because they have lots of money, that they can throw it away by taking part in these things,” she says. “I don’t think it’s OK that they’re doing that.”
The Trump kids are now also trophy hunting the winged pterodactyl, Dice tells a man, who says it’s fine so long as they have a permit to do so.
“Is that inappropriate for them to be trophy hunting those things when it’s not for meat?”
“I don’t approve of it. I don’t like it, but if they can get a permit and they can do it legally, then it’s within their right to do it.”
