THE ACTUAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN I.S.I.S AND I.S.I.L

(What many of us have wondered)
ISIS = Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Iraq is to the east of Jordan (shaped like the hatchet) and Syria is to the north.
ISIL = Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Iraq is still to the east of Jordan, and “the Levant” is a term that comes from “the rising (of the sun, i.e., to the east)” – and is basically the land along the Mediterranean – that includes Lebanon, Israel, and those countries along there.
By saying ISIL, you “negate” Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan as countries and lump them in with the rest of the countries along the Mediterranean – and Israel sort of disappears (loses its sovereignty) and becomes part of “the Levant,” which is therefore part of ISIL.
If you’ve wondered, as I have, why all government agencies and especially BHO calls it ISIL and even spells it out every time it’s used, instead of ISIS as the rest of the world here’s the answer:
Decoding Obama’s speech reveals some startling revelations.
In one press conference after another, when referring to the Muslim terror super-group ISIS, United States President Barack Obama will use the term ISIL, instead of their former name ISIS, or current name Islamic State.
Have you ever wondered about that? Here is the difference:
What makes up the near exact center of the Muslim Levant? Israel.
ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.
Now, to us Westerners we don’t really make much of a distinction, do we?
No, honestly from our perspective it’s all about the same. But how would a Muslim living in the Middle East view it?
Just what is the Levant anyway? Let’s take a look.
The geographical term LEVANT refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East. It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south.
If you look on a map, however, in the near exact middle of the nations that comprise the Levant is Israel.
****When Barack Obama refers over and over to the Islamic State as ISIL, he is sending a message to Muslims all over the Middle East, that he personally does not recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, but as territory belonging to the Islamic State.
Now you know why Obama says that he has no plan, no goal, and no stated aim for dealing with ISIS. But he does have a plan, and it’s a really nasty, diabolical one. Obama’s plan is to drag his feet for as long as he can, doing only the bare minimum that Congress forces him to do. His plan to buy ISIL as much time as possible to make as many gains as they can.
Listen as Obama and his press secretary and the spokesperson for the State Department and his Joint Chiefs of Staff painstakingly spells out the letters I-S-I-L so there is no doubt in your mind.
And it’s working.
The Islamic State has garnered millions of dollars, a vast cache of weapons, and in their latest foray have captured Syrian fighter jets and now 12 commercial passenger planes. With each passing day that Obama fulfills his stated aim of doing nothing, the Islamic State grows by leaps and bounds. The ultimate goal, of course, has not changed and will never change.
The ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel.
Now you know a little bit more about why Obama chooses his words so carefully.

Filtering Out Trump: Google Chrome Extension Aims to ‘suffocate’ Presidential Candidate on Web

“Trump can only lose if we turn off the TV”

During the last Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump said he wanted to “shut down” parts of the internet. However, it seems as though the world wide web is hitting back, with a Google Chrome extension created to block any mention of the billionaire.
The Trump Filter on Google Chrome can be adjusted to allow people to choose how much, or how little, they want to read online about the Republican presidential candidate.
“Thus, the Trump Filter is presented as part of the antidote for this toxic candidacy. This Chrome extension will identify parts of a web page likely to contain Donald Trump and erase them from the internet,” a description of the app stated.
The Trump Filter was designed by Rob Spectre who lives and works in Brooklyn. He believes that the only way Trump’s political campaign can be deflated is through suffocation. Therefore he wants to deprive the billionaire of as much internet coverage as possible.
“In a political atmosphere where ascendance can be manufactured through attention, the only way to deflate Trump’s political star is through suffocation. Trump can only lose if we turn off the TV,” he stated on his website.

Rob Spectre @dN0t

Hey gang – just in time for Christmas, went ahead and fixed the Internet for you. http://trumpfilter.com

However, Spectre says unfortunately for those wanting a total Trump blackout, the Trump Filter does not work on TVs.
“Tragically, Trump Filter cannot be installed on your television. However, we hope that enough installs will be a strong signal to the international media that America is ready to move on from this inveterate jackass,” he concluded.
At the Republican presidential debate on December 15 in Las Vegas, Trump courted controversy by saying he wanted to close down parts of the internet to fight against terrorism.
“ISIS [Islamic State/IS, also known as ISIL] is recruiting through the internet. ISIS is using the internet better than we are using the internet and it was our idea,” the billionaire Republican candidate said. “I want to get the brilliant people from Silicon Valley and other places and figure out a way that ISIS can’t do what they’re doing.”
Richard Spencer, the founder and editor of Radix Journal, does not believe the filter is censorship, as those using the option have a choice whether or not they want to block Trump.
“I think this is more interesting on a physiological level as the media establishment just wants Trump to go away. I think this Chrome extension is a kind of metaphor for their desire because he is bringing things into politics that people don’t want to talk about and don’t want to deal with,” he told RT.
The billionaire is certainly proving to be a polarizing figure. While some hate him, others cannot get enough of him. He continues to surge in the polls and a recent survey by Rasmussen Reports showed that Trump is almost neck and neck with Democrat favorite Hilary Clinton.
Spencer puts Trump’s popularity down to his ability to touch on issues, such as immigration and US foreign policy, that the political elite and mainstream media are afraid to touch.
“We were going to have a campaign of Jeb Bush versus Hilary Clinton – a campaign that would put me to sleep and many other people. He wanted to come in and run a campaign about big issues and the established media don’t want to see it,” Spencer added.
Trump shows no sign of going away in the Republican race and on Tuesday he stated that he plans to spend $2 million a week on advertising in the first three voting states for the primaries. The billionaire had previously looked exclusively towards social media to promote his campaign and had ignored television commercials.

Iraqi Commander Claims That US Secretly Evacuated ISIS Leaders To Safety

Says US forces escorted terrorists out of Ramadi

As the Iraqi army and popular troops complete the liberation of the central Iraqi city of Ramadi from ISIS control, US forces are planning to interfere and evacuate ISIS leaders, according to an Iraqi commander.

The commander of volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), stated that “The delay in operations to liberate Ramadi and Fallujah cities in al-Anbar province is the result of the US interference.”

“It seems that the US intends to evacuate the ISIL terrorist group’s infamous ringleaders secretly (with helicopters) from Ramadi to unknown places,” he added.

The claim was reported by the Iranian Fars News Agency, so should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Earlier this year, Iranian officials accused the US of allowing ISIS to seize Ramadi.

The Intercept reported shortly thereafter that the ISIS fighters who had taken Ramadi were ex-Baathist Sunni terrorists, formerly loyal to Saddam Hussein, known as the Former Regime Loyalists, or the FRLs.

“It is reasonable to surmise that the ex-Baathists flying the ISIS flag today are covertly working to undermine ISIS’s caliphate and eventually achieve their own political goals.” Malcolm W. Nance noted.

There is a history, of the US consenting to the evacuation of top terrorist leaders and fighters it deems as useful from warzones.

in 2001, prior to the invasion of Afghanistan, the US was said to have consented to thousands of top commanders and members of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, and their Pakistani advisers to be airlifted out of Kunduz. The operation has become known as the ‘airlift of evil.

Man charged with setting Houston mosque fire was a devout attendee

Guess he started it on his head. Gufawww

A Houston man has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson at a mosque on Christmas Day.
A spokeswoman for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed that the man was arrested early Wednesday, sometime after midnight, and appeared in court 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The suspect, Gary Nathaniel Moore, 37, of Houston, appeared in court at 7 a.m., spokeswoman Nicole Strong said.
According to a charging instrument released by the Harris County District Clerk, Moore told investigators at the scene that he has attended the mosque for five years, coming five times per day to pray seven days per week.
Moore told investigators he had been at the mosque earlier on Dec. 25 to pray, and had left at about 2 p.m. to go home. Moore told investigators he was the last person to leave the mosque and saw no smoke or other signs of fire when he left. He had returned to the scene after hearing about the fire from a friend.
Though the suspect said he was a regular at the mosque, MJ Khan, president of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston, which operates the mosque, said he was unfamiliar with Moore. “We are just looking into it ourselves,” he said Wednesday morning after learning of the arrest.
“We are really very surprised and saddened by this whole thing,” said Khan.
Using surveillance video from multiple businesses nearby, investigators were able to identify Moore, according to records. A search warrant of his home was conducted, in which investigators recovered a backpack and clothing that seemingly matched that which was seen in surveillance footage, as well as one half of a two-pack of charcoal lighter fluid bottles that seemed to match another lighter fluid bottle found inside the mosque.

Obama Administration Reveals GOP Leaders’ Betrayal on Common Core in Ed Bill

REPUBLICAN TRAITORS AT WORK!

Secretary of Education Arne Duncan (photo credit: Center for American Progress via Flickr, CC BY-ND 2.0)

Anti-Common Core activists tried for months to warn Congress that the new federal education bill (the Every Student Succeeds Act, or ESSA) was a disaster that would cement, not overturn, the odious progressive-education philosophies of the Obama Administration. Except for 64 House members (click here to see how your member voted) and 12 senators (click here to see how your senators voted) who were brave enough to buck Republican leadership, their warnings were dismissed. Now comes confirmation that the activists were dead on — and that Republican leadership, including Sen. Lamar Alexander, Rep. John Kline, and House Speaker Paul Ryan, carried out a cynical scheme to betray their constituents and give the Administration everything it wanted.
This confirmation comes from someone who should know — Education Secretary Arne Duncan.
In a just-released interview with Politico Pro, Duncan expressed joyful incredulity at how wonderful ESSA turned out to be from the Administration’s point of view (meaning, how bad it is for children, families, and the Constitution). “I’m stunned,” he said, “at how much better it ended up than either [House or Senate] bill going into conference. I had a Democratic congressman say to me that it’s a miracle — he’s literally never seen anything like it.”
What’s so good about ESSA, according to Duncan? “[I]f you look at the substance of what is there . . . embedded in the law are the values that we’ve promoted and proposed forever. The core of our agenda from Day One, that’s all in there – early childhood, high standards [i.e., Common Core], not turning a blind eye when things are bad. For the first time in our nation’s history, that’s the letter of the law.”
So just as the grassroots warned, the “core of the [leftist] agenda” is embodied in the unread 1,061 pages of ESSA. Every member of Congress who claims to be conservative and who voted for this, deciding to trust the establishment rather than the knowledgeable constituents who know this issue intimately, should hang his or her head in shame.
And as for the establishment — assuming Duncan is telling the truth, and as a lame duck on his way out the door, why shouldn’t he? — what they did is beneath contempt. In Duncan’s own words, speaking of Alexander and Kline:

We had many, many conversations behind the scenes . . . . And I said for us to support it, they’d have to shed their far, far right [i.e., constituents who support the Constitution and oppose Common Core] . . . . I honestly didn’t know if they’d have the political courage to do that. But they both said they would and they did. I give them tremendous credit for that.

And here he recounts his interaction with Ryan:

About a month before [final Senate passage of the bill], I ran into Speaker [Paul] Ryan and we just talked briefly. I asked if he was going to back this, whether he’s willing to take on the far right. I just asked him straight up. And he said, “Absolutely. We’re going to back this.” And, he did. That’s when I thought it had a real shot.

Here is where Duncan describes the tactics of the Republican betrayal:

We were intentionally quiet on the bill – they asked us specifically not to praise it – and to let it get through. And so we went into radio silence and then talked about it after the fact. . . . Our goal was to get this bill passed – intentionally silent on the many, many good aspects of the bill . . . [W]e were very strategically quiet on good stuff . . . .

So Alexander, Kline, and Ryan asked the Administration to keep quiet while they slipped its policies into the bill that they would then market to their “far right” as something that overturned those policies. The “far right” wasn’t fooled, but many, many members of Congress were.
And then Duncan took a victory lap:

The final thing is we have every ability to implement, to regulate the law . . . it’s just a Washington typical storyline. . . . And candidly, our lawyers are much smarter than many of the folks who were working on this bill. There are some face-saving things you give up, some talking points you give up, which we always do because we’re focused on substance. And we have every ability to implement. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.

Ever the savvy bureaucrat, Duncan realizes that implementation is often more important than statutory language — and he’s been given language that he can run with, all the way to progressive Utopia.
Duncan brags that his people outsmarted the Republicans working on the bill, which is certainly easy to believe. But maybe it was more than stupidity on their part — maybe the card-carrying members of the education establishment such as Lamar Alexander really agree with the leftists and have really bought into their dangerous philosophies.
But either way, these revelations should end the pathetic charade that Congress just restored states’ autonomy in education. Members of Congress can stop sending out mendacious press statements bragging about how they wrenched back power from Obama and Duncan. The only acceptable statements from them should be along the lines of, “I’m sorry, and I choose not to run for re-election.”
And as for Alexander, Kline, and Ryan — they have simply betrayed their constituents, especially the last few who actually believed any integrity remained in the Republican establishment. Remind us again why we need a Republican Party. Has it not gone the way of the Whigs?
Emmett McGroarty is the executive director of APP Education.

Trump schools news anchor for calling Clinton's affair 'alleged'

Donald Trump turned the tables on NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie when she tried to frame Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky as an “alleged” incident.
“The Today’s Show” had the Republican presidential front-runner on live Tuesday to discuss his decision to highlight the sordid past of Hillary Clinton’s husband. It wasn’t long before Guthrie was on the defensive.
“You mention Monica Lewinsky,” Guthrie asked. “Are you saying an alleged extra-marital affair, that of course he has now admitted, is that fair game?”

“Is it alleged? I don’t think that’s alleged,” Trump responded.
“No, he’s admitted it, he’s admitted it,” said Guthrie.
“If he’s admitted it, you don’t have to use the word alleged,” said Trump.
“Right, exactly,” the NBC host conceded.

NBC News' Savannah Guthrie was corrected by Donald Trump when she said former Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky was "alleged."

NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie was corrected by Donald Trump on Tuesday when she said former Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky was “alleged.”

Trump has been under fire since last week by Clinton’s supporters for saying her 2008 campaign was “schlonged” by President Obama.
“She was going to beat Obama. I don’t know who would be worse, I don’t know, how could it be worse? But she was going to beat – she was favored to win – and she got schlonged, she lost, I mean she lost,” the billionaire said Dec. 21 at an event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, WND reported.

Trump told Guthrie that attempts by the former secretary of state to portray him as a sexist will be countered by discussions on her husband’s treatment of women.
“You look at whether it’s Monica Lewinsky or Paula Jones or many of them – that certainly will be fair game. Certainly if they play the woman’s card with respect to me, that will be fair game.”

Hillary Clinton watches as President Clinton discusses the Monica Lewinsky scandal at the White House in January 1998.

Some of the sexual stories and allegations Trump may bring up, besides Bill Clinton’s affair with his former intern, include:

  • Eileen Wellstone’s claim that Clinton raped her in 1969. The two allegedly met at an Oxford pub.
  • Juanita Broaddrick’s claim Clinton raped her April 25, 1978.
  • Gennifer Flowers claim that she was Clinton’s mistress for 12 years.
  • Kathleen Willey, a former White House aide, claimed Clinton sexually assaulted her Nov. 29, 1993.
  • Paula Jones sued Clinton for sexual harassment in 1994. The lawsuit was dropped in 1998 after an $850,000 out-of-court settlement was reached.

The Democratic front-runner is likely to face increased scrutiny of her husband’s behavior towards women whether her campaign backs off Trump or not. Clinton was already cornered at a New Hampshire campaign event Dec. 3 and asked if women who accused her husband of sexual assault should be believed.
“You recently came out to say that all rape victims should be believed, but would you say that about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones? Should we believe them as well?” and audience member asked, WND reported.
“Well, I would say that everybody should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence,” Clinton replied.
The former secretary of state had previously tweeted Nov. 22, “Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.”

Trump Accuses Obama of Watching Movies Instead of Battling Terrorism

Obama joked that the “most important” thing happening at the White House was him watching the new Star Wars movie

Before going for his vacation in Hawaii, President Obama joked that the “most important” thing happening at the White House was him watching the new Star Wars movie.

Trump was quick to notice that and he quickly attacked the President:

“We’re in a serious war [and] our president is busy with another war,” a new video ad said on Trump’s Instagram account.

“We need a real president. Time for a leader with real priorities,” Trump’s ad said.

Trump is still leading the Republican candidates by 28 percent, while his closest contender, Senator Ted Cruz, enjoys 24 percent of support, a poll carried out in the United States found. At the same time, 28 percent of Republicans said they “would definitely not support Trump,” while 61 percent of general voters said the billionaire does not share their values.

Two leading Democratic candidates, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders, beat Trump in potential matchups, according to the poll.

Moreover, 59 percent of the polled voters said Clinton has a good chance of defeating a Republican presidential contender during the 2016 election.

New law lets cops confiscate guns without notice

Police chief: It ‘gives us a vehicle to cause the person to surrender their weapons’

From the text: Charles H. Cunningham, a director with the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, wrote, “Without a doubt, AB 1014 is one of the most egregious violations of civil liberties ever introduced in the California Legislature.”
And in 2014, Dr. Jason Kissner, associate professor of criminology at California State University, Fresno, called the legislation “the most draconian and flagrantly unconstitutional bill in the state’s, and maybe even the nation’s, history.”

GUNUnder a new law effective New Year’s Day, California cops can now seize guns from law-abiding Americans without charges and without giving any notice.

And police can keep those firearms for 21 days under the law known as AB 1014.
If family members believe a gun-owning individual is a danger to themselves or someone else, police may acquire a temporary “gun violence” restraining order from a judge, KPCC public radio reported.
California Gov. Jerry Brown signed the law after the 2014 shooting by Elliot Rodger near the University of California, Santa Barbara. Rodger, 22, killed six people and injured 14.
Before his May 23 shooting spree, Rodger’s parents claim they expressed concern about their son’s mental state and chilling online diatribes about women.
In his last YouTube video before the shooting, Rodger stated in what appeared to be prepared remarks: “If I had it in my power, I would stop at nothing to reduce every single one of you to mountains of skulls and rivers of blood, and rightfully so.”
Police officers who visited his apartment three weeks before the spree. Rodger’s therapist and mother had told authorities they were concerned about videos the man had posted online. But the officers – who never viewed Rodger’s videos – determined he wasn’t a threat to himself and, therefore, didn’t search his apartment or determine whether he owned guns.
“In the case of the Isla Vista shooter, Elliot Rodger, his mother was noticing that he was becoming more agitated and making these threats of violence, but there was little she could do and little the police could do,” said Democratic Assembly member Nancy Skinner of Berkeley, who introduced the bill in 2014 along with Santa Barbara Democrat Das Williams.
As of Friday, California’s new law would enable a judge to issue a restraining order against a gun owner based on accounts from family and police.
“The law gives us a vehicle to cause the person to surrender their weapons, to have a time out, if you will,” Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michael Moore told KPCC. “It allows further examination of the person’s mental state.”
A gun owner may challenge the decision three weeks after the firearms are confiscated.
“It’s a short duration, and it allows for due process,” Moore contends.
The law also requires the California court to notify the Department of Justice when any gun violence restraining order has been issued, renewed, dissolved or terminated.
The state already bans citizens from owning firearms if they have committed violent crimes or were involuntarily committed to mental health facilities. Law-enforcement authorities are also permitted to confiscate guns if a licensed therapist says the owner is a danger to the safety of himself or others.
Moore told KPCC the new firearms restraining order is comparable to a domestic violence restraining order because no conviction is needed.
“It’s an opportunity for mental health professionals to provide an analysis of a person’s mental state,” he said, adding that he doesn’t expect “tremendous” use of the new restraining orders by authorities.
Meanwhile, gun-rights advocates are up in arms over the new law.
Same Paredes, executive director of Gun Owners of California, told the Associated Press: “We don’t need another law to solve this problem. We think this just misses the mark and may create a situation where law-abiding gun owners are put in jeopardy.”
Charles H.
Kissner warned “victims of this proposed law might have no idea they have even been targeted until police show up at the door, conceivably in the middle of the night …”

Schlichter squared

HENRY MARK HOLZER

LEGAL AND POLITICAL COMMENTARY

www.henrymarkholzer.blogspot.com

The following essay by Kurt Schlichter appeared at the December 28, 2015, edition of Townhall.com. In it, he asks a question of the Republican candidates: “Are you going to just sit there and let Hillary’s minions tell you what you can and can’t say?
It’s an important question, and Schlichter ably (and sometimes hilariously) shows why.
I’m reprinting it here because there’s a wider, even more important point to be made.
Today we learned that former — in many circles, appropriately disgraced — president William Jefferson Clinton will be campaigning for his wife. The male Clinton — a lying, legally defrocked, abuser of women who soiled the Oval Office — will be attesting to the character and qualifications of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
By inviting and accepting her husband’s support, Mrs. Clinton (and her supporters) has waived all objections that can, and should, be made to the moral character and behavior of her husband. It’s as if Trotsky vouched for Stalin.
So not only must Schlichter’s question be asked of Republican presidential candidates. It must be asked of every one of us in the coming months. When Hillary, Inc. invokes her “victim-hood,” political correctness, good taste, piling on, fair play, and other attempts to block criticism of Bill Clinton, “Are [we] going to just sit there and let Hillary’s minions tell [us] what [we] can and can’t say?
Well, I’m not.
Here’s Schlichter……….

Don’t let liberals tell you what you can and can’t say about Hillary Clinton
CNN Don Lemon’s terrified cry of “Abandon ship!” when I refused to play my designated Trump Thumper role last week was a moment the GOP candidates need to learn from. It was more than just a hilarious meltdown by a stalwart defender of all things liberal – and the inspiration for multiple media appearances and hordes of new Twitter followers for me. It was a warning that the Democrat-defending, palace guard mainstream media is going to fight to place many of the most devastating criticisms of Hillary out-of-bounds, and the incident offered a demonstration of how it will try to do so.
Here’s the question to the Republican candidates: Are you going to just sit there and let Hillary’s minions tell you what you can and can’t say?
Are you going to gloss over Hillary’s shameful command of the Clinton attack machine’s cruel evisceration of the women who suffered the depredations of her lecherous husband?
Are you going to fail to ask the question of how we can expect Hillary to stand up to America’s enemies, like Putin and the mullahs, when they are laughing at her for allowing her priapic hubby to publicly and repeatedly humiliate her in front of the entire world?
Are you going to shrug your shoulders about her legacy of monetary corruption (cattle futures!), her track record of deadly failures (Libya!), and her sub-par intellect (when I mentioned to another lawyer how she failed the Washington, D.C., bar exam, he started giggling incredulously and asked “How?”)?
Are you going to avoid speaking the painfully, utterly obvious truth: This unaccomplished, malicious, pant-suited punchline is where she is only because she married Bill Clinton?
The fact is that Hillary is a grossly incompetent, venal, poisonous shrew, a monstrous hypocrite who runs as a feminist yet trashes her partner’s sexual abuse victims as nuts n’ sluts with a viciousness that nauseates any decent human being. Are you going to let her win because you can’t take the heat that will come with raising these issues after the mainstream media and her liberal elite defenders have deemed them unraisable?
Now, your establishment consultants will tell you that you can’t possibly mention these issues, that no one cares, that they will turn voters against you, and that they will distract from your message.
But of course, your strongest message must be that you aren’t Hillary Clinton, the Constitution-shredding plutocrat’s pal who takes her completely understandable hatred of her husband for what he’s done to her and aims it at the rest of us XY chromosome people.
Your consultants are wrong about honoring these new taboos, just as they were wrong when they advised Presidents McCain and Romney to handle Obama with kid gloves. America isn’t a nation of Chardonnay-sipping coastal libs; what Hillary undeniably did will offend normal Americans to their core – if they hear about it. Remember, no one under 37 voted in Bill’s last election. Many voters were too young to remember the Clinton Corruption Capers of the 1990s. Some were not tuned into politics then. Others have simply forgotten what the Lady Macbeth of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was truly like. Just recently, a liberal acquaintance berated me for accurately describing Bill as a serial sexual abuser; when I asked, “What about Juanita Broaddrick?”, she returned a blank stare and asked, “Who?”
I say let’s let the Democrats be the party that calls sexual assault victims liars.
Ignore your timid consultants, GOP candidates. In their insular Beltway universe, it’s true that no one wants to hear the truth about Hillary. That’s because the truth hurts her. But in America, people are dying to hear it. Throw Juanita Broaddrick and the dozens of other forbidden subjects in Hillary’s smug face and watch the fun begin.
My little encounter with Don Lemon on CNN graphically illustrated exactly how the mainstream media will come at you to keep you from stating the facts they have decreed must remain unstated. First, they will try to shepherd you back to a topic of their liking. I am a conservative who is no Trump fan, so they brought me on to discuss the “schlonged” scandal. But I can’t get outraged about a GOP guy using a minor Yiddish vulgarity when the Democrat frontrunner excuses and covers for her husband’s use of the Oval Office as a kinky sex dungeon – and I said so. Lemon tried to tell me I was off topic, but I wasn’t – my opinion about Schlongate was that it is irrelevant in light of the disgraceful tackiness Hillary helped set as the standard of presidential conduct.
Next, I was being “unfair” for raising the issue because Hillary can’t be blamed for the actions of her husband. Leaving aside our common understanding that foul fowl tend to flock together, and that Her Majesty is threatening to drag Bill away from his bimbos du jour to stump for her, I was not blaming Hillary for Bill’s creepy shenanigans and sicko cigar storage scenarios. I was blaming her for enthusiastically and remorselessly covering them up by unleashing her attack dogs on the women who had the courage to stand up to him.
Then Lemon told me that the matter has already been “litigated.” Damn right it has – and Hillary was found guilty. This is just another take on the old “Let’s move on” okie-doke in which Democrats essentially admit she’s a monster then assert it doesn’t matter. But it matters to me, and to many millions of others. And liberals know it – that’s why they are so eager to shut us up.
Next, Lemon started filibustering, offering an endless, incoherent, complex monologue designed to keep me from talking. That didn’t work so well – trial lawyers get this all the time – and when it didn’t, he finally decided he had to shut me up by cutting off my mic. Scratch a liberal, and he always bleeds fascism.
That’s a little taste of what will happen in the general election, but we conservatives have to face the heat and tell the truth. Imagine Supreme Court litigator Ted Cruz (or whoever) on the stage at a debate with Hillary, when everybody’s watching and she’s minimally able to rely on the media to save her. Hillary starts talking about what a friend to women she is, and Cruz comes back with her shameful treatment of the women her husband abused. Yeah, I expect the moderators to pull a Candy Crowley and screech and intervene to stop it, and the next day the mainstream media will be full of pearl-clutching outrage about the Republican daring to bring up a subject that they’ve decreed was off-limits. But normal people will ask. “Hey, wait a minute. Hillary did what? Why are we only hearing about this now?” And the fact that we have an alternative media – talk radio, Twitter, Facebook, the net in general, means that we can get our ideas and our views out there. They can’t gatekeep her track record of perfidy forever.
